GEKISOU SENTAI CARRANGER 

(Violent Dash Task Force Carranger) 

Major Characters: 

Violent Dash Task Force Carranger: 

The Carrangers are 5 superheroes empowered by the legendary Carmagic
 Power of the 5 legendary car constellations. Their true forms are 5
 workers at the Pegasus auto garage, although no one except Dappu and
 the VRV Master knows their true identities until the very end. 



Red Racer aka Jinnai Kyousuke: 
Jinnai Kyousuke (23 years old) was hired as a test driver at the 
Pegasus auto garage but normally is only assigned to do errands and 
odd jobs. He was originally selfish enough to abandon his team 
because he wanted to drive his boss's classic car. Soon, though, he 
realized that he has a responsibility as Carranger leader and became 
very conscientious, although the role of leader sometimes gets to him 
and he is overwhelmed by the stress of being responsible for the 
team. He fell in love with Zonnette, although at first she only loved 
his Red Racer alter ego, and was eventually able to confess his love 
to her. He is a very brave, heroic man who was willing to risk his 
life in order to fight as Kyousuke and not Red Racer to prove his 
love for Zonnette. 

As Red Racer, his Formula Weapon is the Fender Sword, a red-handled 
sword from the fender of the Giga Formula. His special attack is a 
flying punch called the Driving Attack. His Speeder Machine is the 
Red Speeder, equipped with the Speeder Gun, and he drives the Pegasus 
Thunder, a legendary red sports car, along with Pink Racer. He pilots 
the Red Vehicle (a giant red sports-car type) and the V Fire (a giant 
fire engine) which can change into the Fire Fighter robot. 



Blue Racer aka Domon Naoki: 


Domon Naoki (17 years old) is a very polite, shy man who is a car 
designer at Pegasus. He speaks in a very polite way, adding "de 
gozaimasu" to his sentences. He is extremely shy around pretty girls 
and becomes so flustered that he cannot fight. He loves animals and 
from childhood has always wanted to keep animals with him, and so 
befriended the alien creature Beager, who he kept as a pet. 


As Blue Racer, his Formula Weapons are the Muffler Guns, two blue 
guns from the muffler of the Giga Formula that fire blasts of heat. 
His special attack is a multiple spin kick called the Hairpin Kick, 
which he powered up into an airborne somersaulting kick, the Hyper 
Hairpin Kick. He can also use the Passing Flash, a blinding burst of 
light from the headlights on his helmet. His Speeder Machine, the 
Blue Speeder, is the fastest of the Speeders; and he drives the 
Dragon Cruiser, a legendary blue jeep, along with Green Racer and 
Yellow Racer. He pilots the Blue Vehicle, a giant 4x4; and the V 
Police, a giant police car that can change into the Police Fighter 
robot. The Police Fighter can fire a supersonic beam, the Police 
Siren Sonic. 



Green Racer aka Uesugi Minoru 


Uesugi Minoru (24 years old) is a salesman at Pegasus. He speaks with 
an Osaka accent and is something of a screw-up. While practicing 
victory poses after a fight, he once lost his Axle Bracelet and 
almost lost his Green Racer powers forever. On another occasion, he 
mixed up a box containing a powerful weapon, the Giga Booster, with 
another one containing a baby cradle to be shipped to Hokkaido, and 
had to chase a delivery truck all the way to Hokkaido to get the Giga 
Booster back. Minoru is a huge fan of the Tigers baseball team. When 
Minoru was a child, he was shocked while fishing for eels during a 
lightning storm, and has been afraid of thunder ever since. After 
Dappu tricked him into eating an electric eel, however, he overcame 
his fear. He also befriended the Bowzock OO Batton, but was betrayed 
when Batton revealed his true nature and turned on the Carrangers. 

As Green Racer, his Formula Weapon is a large bazooka-like gun called 
the Engine Cannon, from the engine of the Giga Formula. His special 
attack is the Pit-In Dive, in which he skims along the ground face-
down and sweeps his enemy over. His Green Speeder is equipped with 
the Speeder Missile, and he rides in the Dragon Cruiser. His Green 
Vehicle is a large van and he pilots the V Dump, a giant dump truck 
that can become the Dump Fighter robot. 



Yellow Racer aka Shinohara Natsumi 

Shinohara Natsumi (19 years old) is a genius mechanic at Pegasus, 
able to fix any machine in minutes. She uses a legendary wrench given 
to her by the owner of a garage she used to visit when she was 
little, but she learned that even without the wrench's power she is 
still able to fix anything. As Yellow Racer, her Formula Weapon is 
the Side Knuckles, two knuckle-duster type weapons from the side bars 
of the Giga Formula. Her special attack is the Checker Chop, a flying 
chop (like a checkered flag waving). She can also perform the Violent 
Dash Mechanic Dismantling (Gekisou Mekanikku Barashi), in which she 
runs past and around an enemy vehicle and dismantles it in seconds. 
She drives the Yellow Speeder, equipped with the Speeder Cutters (2 
sawblades), and rides in the Dragon Cruiser. Her Yellow Vehicle is a 
giant truck and her V Dozer is a giant dragster-like car whose 
spoiler can move forward to become a bulldozer bucket. The V Dozer 
can change into the Dozer Fighter robot. 



Pink Racer aka Yagami Youko 


Yagami Youko (19 years old) is an office worker at Pegasus, 
calculating the expenses and payroll. She is very conscious about her 
weight because she loves to eat sweets, and frequently consults 
magazine fortune-telling articles to predict her future. She dreams 
of becoming an idol someday and marrying a rich husband, and has a 
terrible sense of direction. 

As Pink Racer, her Formula Weapon, the Bumper Bow, is a white bow 
that fires energy arrows, and comes from the bumper of the Giga 
Formula. Her special attack is the Wheel Spin Kick, in which she 
rolls along the ground and kicks upward from below the enemy. She 
also has used the Wheel Spin Shield, in which she spins around in the
 air creating a shield that can deflect eneny attacks. When she got 
angry at PP Rappa for messing around with her weight reading on a 
scale, she used the Pink Flying Attack (a jumping punch), the Pink 
Giant Swing (she picked up Rappa by the legs, swung him in a circle, 
and tossed him into a rock face), and the Pink Bomb Punch of Anger 
(Ikari no Pinku Bakudan Panchi - a powerful uppercut that sent Rappa 
flying). When a Wumper spit a cloud of black ink at her, she 
performed the Viblade Returning Wiper (Okaeshi Waipaa), spinning her 
Viblade around in front of her to gather up the ink and toss it back 
at the Wumper. Her Pink Speeder is equipped with the Speeder Radar, 
and she rides alongside Red Racer in the Pegasus Thunder. The Pink 
Vehicle is a giant sports car and she drives the V Rescue, a giant 
ambulance that can shoot an oversized hypodermic needle, and can 
change into the Rescue Fighter robot. 



In order to kill the Reckless Dash Emperor Exhaus, the Carrangers 
combined their Carmagic Powers together in the "Carranger Carmagic 
Attack", in which they turned into balls of energy and shot through 
Exhaus all at once. 



The first syllables of the Carrangers' human last names spell out 
"car", or "jidousha", in Japanese. "Jidousha" is written with the 
characters "ji do u shi ya" -- JInnai, DOmon, Uesugi, SHInohara, and 
YAgami. Thanks to Akemi Kishita for pointing this out!! 




Dappu 

Dappu is one of the last survivors of the planet Hazard, which was 
destroyed in a Bowzock attack. He is the keeper of the Carmagic 
("Kurumagic") Power and gave this power to the five who would become 
the Carrangers. Dappu's mother was killed in the attack and his 
father was missing until he returned in the guise of the VRV Master. 
Dappu is actually a child and so wishes to be with his mother and 
father together again. He played the game "Shurashushushu" (pogs) 
with his father when he was little. The Carmagic Power depends on the
 bond of friendship between Dappu and the Carrangers; when they had a
 fight, the Carrangers' power began to fade away. Also, his species 
must hibernate every year in order to restore their strength. 




VRV Master 

A "Lone Wolf of Space" ("Uchuu no ippiki ookami"), the VRV Master 
appeared mysteriously while Dappu was in hibernation, and gave the 
Carrangers the VRV Machines to help them against the giant robot 
Braking. An enigmatic figure, the VRV Master was finally revaled to 
be Dappu's long-lost father, who had survived the Bowzock attack on 
the planet Hazard. The VRV Master likes to play pachinko and drink 
"coffee milk" ("koohii gyuunyuu"). 



Signalman 

A space policeman who was assigned to a new post on Earth, Signalman 
does not forgive anyone who breaks the rules of traffic. He is from 
the Police Planet where he had to leave his wife Sigue and his son 
Sigtarou. Although Signalman fights against Bowzock alongside the 
Carrangers, he sometimes ends up causing trouble for them. When he 
first appeared, he gave the Carrangers tickets for parking their 
Speeder Machines in a No Parking Zone. Because he has been drilled in 
the rules of traffic since he was a child, his body cannot help but 
obey the rules now, such as when Ichitarou was captured but Signalman 
could not pursue the kidnapper across the street because the 
crosswalk signal said "Don't Walk". 

Signalman has a badge / recording device called the Signizer, which 
can also change into a Police Baton Mode and a Gun Mode. When using 
the Gun Mode of Signizer, Signalman often shoots his enemies in the 
kneecaps to disable them. He uses Signizer to call on his police 
bike, the Polispeeder, and uses his Signal Whistle to call on his 
police car Sirender. Sirender can change into a robot mode (the 
command is "Stand Up! Sirender!") and uses the Siren Dagger, an army
 knife on his wrist; the Siren Shield, a red transparent riot shield;
 the Wappagun, a giant handcuff on a chain; and the Siren Vulcan, a 
high-powered gun. Also, in either mode, Sirender can fire the Signal 
Flash, a powerful beam of energy, from the lights on top of its roof 
in car mode, or from his chest in robot mode. Signalman often sets up
 a telephone-booth looking "kouban" (police box) station called the 
"Kobaan Base" and stands in front of it waiting for people to pass 
by. 



Tenma Family 

Tenma Souichirou is the owner of the Pegasus garage and the boss of 
the Carrangers in their civilian identities. His wife is Tenma 
Yoshie, and his son Ichitarou is a friend of the Carrangers' and a 
close friend of Signalman's. "Tenma" is the Japanese name for a 
pegasus. 





Bowzock: 

The Space Rebel Gang Bowzock ("Uchuu no Bousouzoku Boozokku") is a 
group of troublemakers who go around destroying planets for fun. They 
don't follow the rules of traffic and are the reason the 5 Pegasus 
workers became the Carrangers, since Bowzock's next target was the 
planet Earth. The Bowzock base is a spherical spacecraft called the 
Baribarian, which looks like a mass of intertwined highways. The main 
Bowzock always stay in the BB Saloon, a bar on the Baribarian. 



Gynamo 

Gynamo is the leader of Bowzock and is madly in love with Zonnette. 
He will do just about anything for her, and becomes very depressed 
when he finds out she is in love with Kyousuke. Gynamo was 
temporarily deposed as Bowzock leader by the Evil Consultant 
Ritchihiker, but returned after Ritchihiker was killed, to reclaim 
his gang. While Ritchihiker was in charge, he worked at a yakiniku 
restaurant. Soon after returning, the "Reckless Dash Emperor" 
("Bousou Koutei") Exhaus appeared to the Bowzock members and said he 
would help them defeat the Carrangers, giving them powerful robots 
and leading their operations. But when Exhaus revealed that he was 
just using Bowzock, Gynamo and the rest of the Bowzock joined forces 
with the Carrangers and helped to beat Exhaus. After Exhaus' 
destruction, Gynamo stayed on Earth and returned to his yakiniku job. 




Zelmoda 

Zelmoda is Gynamo's friend and second-in-command in Bowzock. He uses 
a sword made up of playing cards with which he can cause explosions. 
When he was a child he made fun of thunder and was struck by 
lightning, and so he has had a fear of thunder ever since. But when 
he heard of the legend of Elekinta, a great warrior who could be 
summoned amidst booming thunder by driving past a certain critical 
speed, Zelmoda overcame his fear of thunder and managed to summon 
him, although Elekinta was ultimately defeated. He also tried to 
cheer Gynamo up after Gynamo found out about Zonnette's love for 
Kyousuke by sending EE Musubinofu to make Zonnette become Gynamo's 
bride instead. After Exhaus is destroyed, Zelmoda stays on Earth and 
goes to elementary school with Grotch. 



Grotch 

Grotch is a short, bulbous white creature with a glass plate over his 
face who is Bowzock's inventor, having created such weapons as the 
Fattening Spray used by NN Nerenko and the Forgetfulness Water-Gun, a 
super soaker used to erase the memory of the Space Speed King MAX and
 turn him into the Bowzock dishwasher KK Esu. He is usually the one 
who goes to earth to pick up the imo-youkan to enlarge the Bowzock. 
He goes to elementary school with Zelmoda after Exhaus is destroyed. 



Wumpers 

The Wumpers are brightly-colored Bowzock soldiers who come out of an 
octopus-trap jar that Zelmoda has. Their faces look something like 
gas masks, and they use swords and guns as weapons. They can also 
spray black powder from their mouths like octopus ink. 



Gorotsuki 

The Gorotsuki are the Bowzock who are always seen hanging around in 
the BB Saloon on the Baribarian but never do anything. 4 of them were 
turned into SS Pamaan's Zokurangers but aside from that, all they do 
is sit around and watch the main Bowzock. 



Zonnette 

Zonnette starts off as a member of Bowzock who Gynamo is madly in 
love iwth. She is very selfish and takes full advantage of Gynamo's 
love for her to get what she wants. However, she falls in love with 
Red Racer after seeing him in action. For a while she loves Red Racer 
but does not know that he is actually Jinnai Kyousuke, and even when 
she does find out, at first she says she only loves the Red Racer 
persona (calling Kyousuke a "monkey-faced civilian"). Kyousuke 
manages to prove his love for her though, and her love eventually 
extends to both sides of Kyousuke. 

Zonnette is actually a princess of the Fanbel planet. Her real name 
is "Vanity Mirror Fanbelt", and though she returns to her home planet 
at the end of the series and has marriage meetings often, she remains 
in love with Kyousuke. She changes from her Zonnette form to her true 
form by saying "Ravioli, Kishimen (flat noodles made from wheat 
flour), Linguini". Zonnette drives a pink convertible called the 
Zonnecar. 



Radiata Fanbelt 

Radiata is Zonnette's sister, and a big fan of the Carrangers. She 
uses magic to change into a costume modeled after the Carrangers and 
calls herself "White Racer". She has a staff she uses to change her 
appearance, with the command "Tiramisu, Konnyaku, Mille-Feuille (a 
type of pastry) " and uses "Nazo-Nazo Bakudan" ("Riddle Bombs"), 
white volleyball-sized bombs that explode if the person who catches 
them can't answer a riddle that White Racer tells them. She drives a 
white car with a cat's face in front, the Radiacar. The Radiacar can 
transform into a robot mode although it can only operate for one 
minute, and later even gains the ability to enlarge itself. 




Ritchihiker 

The "Consultant of Evil" Ritchihiker is hired by Gynamo to take care 
of the Carrangers once and for all. Ritchihiker attempts several 
times to get rid of them, but fails each time. During the Bowzock 
festival, he is struck with a bolt of pure evil energy and is powered-
up into RitchiRitchihiker. His ultimate plan is to use the giant 
dinosaur-like robot Braking, and he manages to capture the RV Robo 
with it. He then proceeds to kick Gynamo and Zonnette out of Bowzock 
and takes over command. Braking is later damaged and is rebuilt, but 
is destroyed by the Carrangers' new VRV Robo, and RitchiRitchihiker 
dies as it explodes in a ball of fire. 



Exhaus 

The "Reckless Dash Emperor" (Bousou Koutei) Exhaus is a legendary 
evil in the galaxy. He appeared to Gynamo and the other Bowzock to 
have them help him with his Great Space Highway Plan to build a 
highway from one end of space to the other, because Earth was in his 
way. Exhaus' first act (before appearing to Gynamo) was to send a 5-
colored gas into the skies above the Police Planet that made 
Signalman's son's throat hurt. A voice told Signalman that the gas 
was due to the Carrangers' vehicle exhaust, and Signalman went to 
Earth to fight them. Eventually Signalman found out that it was not 
the Carrangers' doing, but Exhaus became Bowzock's commander, giving 
them super robots to use and instructing them in his plans. Exhaus 
kidnapped Dappu and tried to drain his Carmagic Power to use for his 
own robots, turning it into Evilmagic ("Akumajikku") Power, but his 
plan backfired when Dappu overloaded the robots with power. Dappu 
also found out that Exhaus had sent a fortune-telling New Year's card 
to Gynamo a year ago telling him that he would have luck in 
destroying planets that started with "ha". This led Gynamo to pick 
Hazard, Dappu's home planet, to attack and destroy. 

Exhaus' ultimate plan was to use an opportunity that came once every 
1 million years: the guardian constellations around the legendary car 
constellations that gave the Carrangers their Carmagic Powers 
weakened, and Exhaus absorbed the Carmagic Power into himself. The 
Carrangers were left helpless and unable to change. With the 
Carrangers beaten, Exhaus had no more need for Bowzock either and set 
the Baribarian on fire, sending it to crash into the Earth. Signalman 
in Sirender stopped it and the Carrangers in human form took control 
of the Baribarian and drove it straight into Exhaus, seemingly 
killing him and regaining their Carmagic Powers. But Exhaus 
reappeared in a powered-up giant "Exhaus Super-Strong" form, having 
absorbed the evil of the galaxy into himself. The Carrangers used 
every weapon at their disposal but Exhaus was too strong until Gynamo 
fed him a piece of expired imo-youkan, causing him to shrink so that 
the Carrangers could kill him. 





Carranger / Bowzock Weapons and Items: 



Axle Bracelet and Axle Key: 

The Axle Bracelet and Axle Key constitute the Axle Changer, the means 
by which the Carrangers transform. The Axle Key is a black keychain 
with the word "Carranger" on it. It works like a switchblade; when a 
button is pressed, a key flips out of it and this is then inserted 
into the slot on the Axle Bracelet and turned. A small motor in the 
Axle Bracelet revs up and releases the Carmagic Power to change the 
Pegasus team into the Carrangers. The Carrangers' changing command is 
"Gekisou! Akuseru Chenjaa!" ("Violent Dash! Axle Changer!") The Axle 
Bracelet also functions as a wrist communicator. 



Auto Blaster / Auto Punisher 

The Auto Blaster is a red gun that looks like a red sports car with a 
handle stuck on the bottom. It can be powered up ("Shift Up!") into 
the Auto Punisher, its barrel splitting open and an ion-gathering 
turbine inside spinning, causing its fire to become 20 times the 
strength of that of the Auto Blaster. 



Viblade 

The Viblade is a sword with a handle in its hilt. When the handle is 
pulled a turbine on the hilt spins and gives the Viblade added power. 



Giga Formula: 

The Giga Formula is a small dragster-shaped car ("Formula Machine" 
mode) that can split apart into the Carrangers' Formula Weapons: the 
Fender Sword, Muffler Guns, Engine Cannon, Side Knuckles, and Bumper 
Bow. It can also change into a standing cannon, the Formula Nova, 
that fires powerful fireballs.. 



Carnavic: 

The Carnavic (from "car navigation") is a small computerlike device 
that can track Bowzock energy readings. It was developed by Natsumi 
and Youko to battle AA Abanba, who could turn herself invisible. The 
Carnavic didn't work until Youko cried and her tears fell into it, 
since she was blaming herself for the capture of her friends. 

In its computer mode, the Carnavic is called the Navic Com, and can 
be attached to any of the Carranger vehicles to act as a tracking 
device. The Carnavic can turn into a gun mode, the Navic Shot, which 
fires homing charges. The Navic Shot can combine with the Auto 
Punisher to form the Navic Blaster and fire a beam 3 times the power 
of the Auto Punisher. 



Giga Booster 

The Giga Booster is a powerful cannon that can be mounted on the top 
of the Dragon Cruiser. It has 3 forms: a miniature dragster called 
the Booster Machine, a miniature jet alled the Booster Jet, and a 
large gun called the Booster Cannon, that fires balls of plasma 
energy.. 



Speeder Machines: 

The Speeder Machines are bumper-car like miniature cars that the 
Carrangers used for transportation until they got the Pegasus Thunder
 and Dragon Cruiser. Each Speeder Machine has a different feature: 

Red Speeder 1: Speeder Gun 

Blue Speeder 2: Fastest of the Speeders 

Green Speeder 3: Speeder Missile 

Yellow Speeder 4: Speeder Cutter 

Pink Speeder 5: Speeder Radar 



Ranger Vehicles 

The Ranger Vehicles are 5 giant vehicles modeled after the 
Carrangers' "dream cars": the Red Vehicle, Blue Vehicle, Green 
Vehicle, Yellow Vehicle, and Pink Vehicle. The five can combine into 
the RV Robo ("Gekisou Gattai!" aka "Violent Dash Combination!"), a 
giant robot whose main weapon is the RV Sword. It also uses a tire 
shaped shield called the Radial Shield. It can fire a blast from the 
headlights on its chest, the "Pragnado (?) Spark" (Puraguneedo 
Supaaku). It can also perform the Yellow Vehicle Kick and Yellow 
Vehicle Spin Kick with its right leg, the Pink Vehicle Punch with its 
arms, and the RV Hairpin Kick or RV Naniwa Geri (RV Osaka Kick). The 
RV Robo's final attack is the "Violent Dash Slice" ("Gekisou Giri"), 
in which the RV Robo accelerates to full speed and then dashes 
towards the enemy, spinning around like a tornado with its RV Sword 
outstretched to slash the enemy repeatedly in a deadly attack. Other 
"one-shot" attacks used by the RV Robo are: the "Violent Dash Cooling
 Off" and "Violent Dash Spinning Cooling Off", in which it spun 
around to prevent DD Donmo's phone-order weaponry from reaching him; 
the "RV Spinning Watermelon Slice", a spinning sword slash used 
against TT Terurin; the "Secret Hit Violent Dash Return", used to 
deflect HH Deeo's baseball attack; and the "RV Discus Throw", used 
against VV Goriin's Olympics attacks. 



VRV Machines 

The VRV Machines were given to the Carrangers by the VRV Master while 
Dappu was in hibernation and the RV Robo was captured by Ritchihiker 
in the giant robot Braking. They are giant vehicles that can 
transform into robots. They emerge from a giant container truck, the 
Victrailer, which is stored in the VRV Master's headquarters under 
the Tokyo Dome and can change to a giant towerlike Battle Mode. 

V Fire (Red Racer), a giant fire engine that can shoot high-pressure 
water from its nozzle; changes into the Fire Fighter. 

V Police (Blue Racer), a giant police car; changes into the Police 
Fighter, and can fire a supersonic beam called the Police Siren 
Sonic.. 

V Dump (Green Racer), a giant dump truck that carries iron balls in 
it, to lay on the ground in front of enemies and make them lose their 
footing; changes into the Dump Fighter. 

V Dozer (Yellow Racer), a giant dragster-looking car whose spoiler 
can become a bulldozer bucket; changes into the Dozer Fighter. 

V Rescue (Pink Racer), a giant ambulance that can fire a giant 
hypodermic needle; changes into the Rescue Fighter. 

The VRV Machines can combine into the VRV Robo ("Hisshou Gattai!" aka 
"Certain Victory Combination!"), a giant robot more powerful than the 
RV Robo. It uses two small guns, the V Guns. Its deadly attack is the 
Victory Twister, in which it equips itself with two huge guns from 
the sides of the Victrailer, the V Bazooka and the V Vulcan. The 
Victory Twister is a barrage of energy blasts from the two guns that 
obliterate the enemy. 

The VRV and RV Robos can interchange parts of themselves with each 
other. Also, when Dappu was trapped inside the chest of the Bowzock 
robot Land Zuzoon, the VRV and RV Robos executed a team attack where 
the VRV Robo fired its Victory Twister and the RV Robo cut it in half 
using the "RV Twister Cutter", so that the blast hit Land Zuzoon 
above and below the area where Dappu was so as to leave him unharmed. 

Pegasus Thunder 

The Pegasus Thunder is a legendary "wild car" that roamed around 
space with its friend, the Dragon Cruiser, until they were sealed 
inside a meteor. They were freed by WW Waritcho and went to Earth, 
where they befriended Kyousuke and Naoki. The Pegasus Thunder is a 
red sports car that can change into a flying mode with wings emerging
 from the bottom, and can fire an energy beam, the Pegasus Laser. Its 
deadly attack is a barrage of energy blasts, the Pegasus Final 
Burning. Red Racer drives the car and Pink Racer rides in the 
passenger seat. 



Dragon Cruiser 

The Dragon Cruiser is a legendary vehicle that is a friend of the 
Pegasus Thunder. It is a blue jeep with a powerful winch on the back, 
the Dragon Claw. The Giga Booster can be mounted on top of it. Blue 
Racer drives the Cruiser, and Green Racer and Yellow Racer ride in 
it. 



Barikkars 

The Barikkars are a group of 5 different tank-like vehicles used as 
assault vehicles by the Bowzock forces. They are each based on a type 
of animal and have a very rough, mechanical look, with dull metal 
colors and lots of spikes on them: 

Pao Barikkar (based on an elephant; "pao" is the sound an elephant 
makes in Japanese) 

Nyaa Barikkar (based on a cat; "nyaa" is the sound a cat makes in 
Japanese, equivalent to "meow" in English) 

Moo Barikkar (based on a cow/bull; "moo" is the sound a cow makes in 
Japanese, equivalent to "moo" in English although Japanese "moo" is 
pronounced with a long "o" sound, not an "oo" sound) 

Joki Barikkar (based on a scorpion; "joki" is ????) 

Buhi Barikkar (based on a pig; "buhi" is the sound a pig makes in 
Japanese, equivalent to "oink" in English) 



Other vehicles used by the Bowzock forces include a jeep called the 
Barilander, an orange convertible called the Bariakubar, and 
motorcycles used by the Wumpers, called Wumpappers. 



Imo-Youkan 

Imo-Youkan is a sweet yellow block-shaped food made from jellied 
sweet potatoes. The imo-youkan from one particular store called 
Imochou has the power to enlarge Bowzock to giant size when they eat 
it. Any other store's imo-youkan makes the Bowzock shrink to the size
 of a toy. When expired imo-youkan is eaten, however, it gives the 
Bowzock a stomachache and although it enlarges them at first, it soon
 makes them shrink back to human size.

1. Tatakau Koutsuu Anzen 

(Fighting Traffic Safety) 

[Note: This is the only episode summary that goes into this much detail] 

On the planet Hazard, the forces of the uchuu no bousouzoku Boozokku 
("space rebel gang Bowzock") are overrunning the populace and 
destroying the world. A lone figure looks at the destruction 
befalling his homeland and clutches a pendant with five colored 
stones, whispering "Mama...". Two of the Bowzock members survey the 
scene of chaos. Zelmoda tells Grotch that they have no further need 
for this planet. Back at the Bowzock base Baribarian, which looks 
like a spherical mass of intertwined highways, the Bowzock leader 
Gynamo in the BB Saloon looks at the doomed planet. The beautiful 
Zonnette comes down a flight of stairs and watches as Hazard explodes 
like a giant firework. Gynamo asks Zonnette which planet she wants 
next. Grotch suggests the earth ("CHI-kyuu") and Zonnette says she 
wants to see the earth firework, wiggling her butt on the table as 
she thinks about it. Gynamo is staring at her and his tongue hangs 
out of his mouth and approaches her. 


Zelmoda tells him, "Gynamo! This is no time to be licking Zonnette's 
butt!" The Earth is on the monitor screens in the saloon, and a 
figure in a hooded brown robe looks at them. 

"The Earth..." he says, "The constellation legend speaks of the car-
shaped constellations and the Gekisou Sentai Carranger. They might be
 on Earth." 

Gynamo says "Earth? He's not a Bowzock! Get him!" Two of the Bowzock 
thugs grab for the figure but he leaps onto the counter and throws 
back his hood. 

"I am the last survivor of Hazard, Dappu! Legendary constellations, 
give me your Kurumagic Power!" Called by the power of his pendant, 
five car-shaped constellations create five colored 

balls of light that enter Dappu's body and he turns into a ball of 
light himself and floats out the window. 

Meanwhile, on Earth, Jinnai Kyousuke, Domon Naoki, Uesugi Minoru, 
Shinohara Natsumi, and Yagami Youko are working at the Pegasus auto 
garage. Kyousuke says that they have been fooled by their boss, since 
they were supposed to be able to build their dream machines but all 
they have are five small models. Suddenly the models start to glow 
and Dappu appears in front of the five. 

"So...you are the Gekisou Sentai Carranger." he says. 

After some talking, the five are thoroughly confused. "We're the 
Gekisou Sentai Carranger who are supposed to protect the universe? 
Wait a minute!" Kyousuke protests. 

"We can't wait!" cries Dappu. "Bowzock will soon be here! What's this 
over here?" 

"That's a balancing machine." 

"It will be the Carranger's secret base! Kurukuru Kurumagic!" Dappu 
creates a headquarters in a corner of the garage, with a giant room 
behind it. "Kurukuru Kurumagic!" Dappu waves and the five are pulled 
inside. "Kurukuru Kurumagic!" Five bumper-car looking vehicles 
appear. "These are your Speeder Machines! Kurukuru Kurumagic!" A 
bracelet appears on each of the five's wrists. "That's your Axle 
Changer!" 

An alarm goes off inside the base. "So they have come." 

The Baribarian appears overhead. A jar floats down and multicolored 
Wumper soldiers pour out of it. The Wumpers proceed to cause chaos in 
the city. 

"Now you must become the Gekisou Sentai Carranger and fight Bowzock!"
 Dappu looks around. No one is there! "It's useless to hide! Kurukuru 
Kurumagic!" Little fireballs shoot from Dappu's hand and shock the 
rangers-to-be out of hiding. 

Gynamo calls to the vehicles of Earth to rebel against their users. A 
tricycle with a child on it goes flying off into the air. A fire 
engine wraps people in its hoses and goes rampaging through 

the streets. Dappu appears, pulling -- a rope? Dappu is dragging a 
rope with the rangers-to-be tied to it in a line like slaves, as they 
grumble and complain and try to get away. Dappu introduces the 
Gekisou Sentai Carranger! as he pulls them forward and the rope 
disappears. 

"Hold on a minute!" Kyousuke complains. "How do you expect us to work 
at that company and defend the Earth? I only get paid 193,000 yen!" 
The others also quote their salaries. 

Dappu pushes himself in Kyousuke's face. "It doesn't *matter* how 
much you get paid!" 

"It *matters*!" 

"All right, fine! I've had it with you! I'll beat Bowzock myself!" 
Dappu and Zelmoda face off and turn into balls of energy. They 
collide a few times and Dappu rematerializes and falls to the ground. 

"DAPPU!!!" The five have seen the battle and rush to his side. 

Dappu explains. "My mother was killed by Bowzock." He remembers 
searching through the wreckage of Hazard for his mother. When he 
finally finds her buried under a pile of rubble, she passes to him 
the pendant with the five stones in it and tells him to search for 
the Gekisou Sentai Carranger to save the universe. "Jinnai 
Kyousuke...Domon Naoki...Uesugi Minoru...Shinohara Natsumi...Yagami 
Youko...I believe in you....You are the Gekisou Sentai 
Car..ran..gerrrr...." Dappu's eyes close. His hand falls open, 
spilling the Axle Keys onto the ground. 

Kyousuke's voiceover says, "Then, something changed in our hearts. We 
became the Gekisou Sentai Carranger!" 

The five each take a key. "Gekisou!! Axle Changer!!" The five 
transform and marvel at their new selves. 

Dappu jumps up. "You did it!" 

"DAPPU!!" 

"I knew you wouldn't transform on your own so I had to play dead." 

"You tricked us!!!" 

"Wait!! I'm not your enemy!! Your enemy is the evil Bowzock!!" Dappu 
points and -- "Huh?! Bowzock isn't here!" The Rangers fall down in 
anime style. 

Somewhere nearby, Bowzock is continuing its campaign of destruction 
when they see five small cars coming towards them. The Rangers in 
their Speeder Machines reach the scene and get out, then do their 
trademark poses and introduce themselves. 

"Red Racer!" 

"Blue Racer!" 

"Green Racer!" 

"Yellow Racer!" 

"Pink Racer!" 

"Tatakau Koutsuu Anzen! Gekisou Sentai -- Caaaaaarranger!!!" The five
 begin decimating the Wumpers with their Viblades and Auto Blasters. 


Gynamo, seeing the battle going badly, mutates a fire engine into a 
hell machine with a demonic face. It flies in the air destroying 
buildings, and the Carrangers leap onto it to try to stop it, but are 
shaken off as it rams through a building. "Shift Up!! Auto 
Punisher!!" The Auto Blasters become the Auto Punishers and blast the 
fire engine out of the sky. 

Gynamo fires energy blasts at the Rangers creating a wall of flame, 
but out of the flame comes Red Racer, his sword extended in front of 
him. He stabs Gynamo in the shoulder. "Full Power!" He pulls the 
lever in the Viblade's hilt and it glows with energy, injuring 
Gynamo. Zelmoda and Grotch teleport away, followed by Gynamo. 

Dappu comes running in. "You did great!!!" 

Kyousuke's voiceover: "From that day on, we became the Gekisou Sentai 
Carranger!!!" 


2. Odoru Souon Kougai 

(Dancing Noise Pollution) 

BB (BiiBii) Donpa 

BB Donpa, aka the "Beethoven of Space", can control cars and other 
vehicles like a conductor. His plan is to use the cars of Earth, 
making them dance through the air and honk their horns, to make so 
much noise that other aliens will get mad at the Earth and blow it up 
to get some quiet. He is defeated but not destroyed by the 
Carrangers' Formula Nova, and retreats back to the BB Saloon. When he 
gets there, however, he makes so much noise that some aliens get mad 
at *him* and blast him to pieces to shut him up. 

BB Donpa can command cars at will, making them fly around in pairs 
like they are dancing. He can also fire energy blasts from the horns 
on his wrists, and rides a motorcycle called the Donpapper.



3. Seigi no Shoshinsha Maaku 

(The Beginner's Mark of Justice) 

RR (RiiRii) Rii 

(Boozokku no konjou tataki-naoshiya / Bowzock's spirit hit-and-changer) 

RR Rii can use his hammer to change the spirit of objects, making 
them "unserious" and making them turn against humans. While the other 
Carrangers battle RR Rii, Kyousuke abandons his team because he wants 
to test drive the Pegasus president's classic car. But when RR Rii 
uses his hammer on it and turns it into an ugly vehicle, Kyousuke 
joins his team and they kill RR Rii with their Formula Weapons. 


RR Rii uses his hammer to hit objects and change their disposition to 
"unserious", leaving a square stamp on them to mark them. 



4. Kyodaika ni Aka Shingou 

(A Red Light to Enlarging) 

MM (MooMoo) Moguu 

(Boozokku-ichi no oogui / Bowzock's biggest eater) 

Grotch goes down to Earth to escape after angering Gynamo, and while 
there he decides ot have something to eat. He asks Ichitarou what's 
good on Earth, and Ichitarou answers "takoyaki, fried chicken, 
inarizushi, and imo-youkan". Grotch has Ichitarou's mother buy him 
some of each, and when he eats the imo-youkan he suddenly enlarges to 
giant size. Towering over the city, he proceeds to cause destruction. 
The Carrangers are summoned and although they try to fight the giant 
Grotch with the Formula Nova and their Formula Weapons, nothing 
works. Then without warning, Grotch shrinks back to normal size and 
makes a hurried escape as the Carrangers prepare to beat him to a 
pulp. Back at the Baribarian, Grotch tells Gynamo about his 
discovery, although he's not sure what triggered it yet. Bowzock's 
biggest eater MM Moguu is summoned to go to Earth and eat the same 
foods. Grotch and MM Moguu kidnap Ichitarou and make his father (his 
mother has passed out fro the shock) go and buy them the same foods, 
but this time when MM Moguu eats the imo-youkan, he shrinks to the 
size of a toy. Grotch and Moguu run for their lives as Ichitarou and 
his father throw sticks and stones at them. 

MM Moguu could eat anything and used a giant knife and fork as 
weapons. 

"Mogu-mogu" is the sound of chewing in Japanese. 



5. Kono Saki Gekisou Gattai 

(Up Ahead, a Violent Dash Combination) 

MM Moguu 

Grotch has realized that it was the imo-youkan that made him enlarge, 
but it has to be from one store, "Imochou", in particular, or the 
effect will be shrinking instead of enlarging. The Carrangers are 
worried about how to fight any more giant Bowzock, since all their 
weapons were ineffective against Grotch. All they have are the models
 of their dream cars. Dappu tells them that the Carmagic Power can 
bring them a giant warrior if they believe in it hard enough. They 
concentrate on their dream cars, and the models are enlarged to giant
 vehicles, the Ranger Vehicles. Meanwhile, MM Moguu eats some of the 
Imochou imo-youkan and enlarges himself. But when Grotch tells him to
 go wild and wreak havoc, Moguu remembers that he hasn't cleaned his 
bellybutton and cannot attack because he is embarrassed of it. Grotch
 responds that he himself has not cleaned his bellybutton in years, 
and gives Moguu a whiff of it. Realizing that his bellybutton is much
 cleaner than Grotch's, Moguu starts to run amok, destroying the 
city. The Carrangers are busy practicing the combination procedure of
 their Ranger Vehicles that Dappu has told them about, when the 
Bowzock alarm sounds. They change and take their new vehicles into 
battle. They are attacked by a fleet of Barikkars and although still 
in the process of learning how to operate the vehicles, manage to 
fight off the Barikkars. Then they combine (after repeated tries) 
into the awesome RV Robo and face Moguu. The RV Robo battles Moguu 
and defeats him with the Gekisou Giri. With peace restored, the 
Carrangers get to work washing and waxing their gigantic new 
vehicles. 



6. Watashitachi...Ippou Tsuukou 

(We Are... a One-Way Street) 

QQ (KyuuKyuu) Kyuutan 

(Boozokku-ichi no sagashimono meijin / Bowzock's best searcher) 

In the Baribarian, Zonnette is tired of all the jewelry she has and 
asks Gynamo for a new necklace. Gynamo asks what kind, and she draws 
a picture of a necklace she has seen on Earth. Gynamo calls in 
Bowzock's best searcher, QQ Kyuutan, to search for it. Kyuutan uses 
his camera eye to make a mental record of it, then departs for Earth.
 Meanwhile, Natsumi and Youko are having a big fight over the fee 
charged to one of their customers, and they are refusing to talk to 
each other. Kyuutan begins breaking into jewelry stores but cannnot 
find the right necklace. The Bowzock alarm sounds and the Carrangers 
go into action, but during the ensuing battle with a group of 
Wumpers, Natsumi and Youko are arguing so badly that they begin to 
fight each other. Kyuutan tries to escape but is nearly blasted by 
the Formula Nova. Remembering that Grotch has given him some imo-
youkan, Kyuutan eats it and enlarges himself. The Carrangers form the
 RV Robo and try to fight Kyuutan, but Natsumi and Youko cannot work 
together and the RV Robo starts to be beaten. The other Rangers tell 
Natsumi and Youko that they are fed up with them, and so the two 
disembark the RV Robo. Kyousuke follows and tries to help them make 
up. They both want to make up but don't know how to say it. When 
Kyousuke tries to talk to them they both get mad at him and punch him
 out, then apologize to each other and rejoin the battle. Meanwhile, 
night has fallen and Blue Racer and Green Racer are losing to Kyuutan
 when he sees the Rainbow Bridge lit up in the night. It perfectly 
matches Zonnette's picture and Kyuutan abandons the fight to go and 
try to steal it. The other three Carrangers come back on board and 
engage Kyuutan again. This time, Yellow Racer and Pink Racer work 
together and win against Kyuutan, who is finally killed by the 
Gekisou Giri. At the Baribarian, Zonnette realizes that what she was 
not really a necklace at all. 

QQ Kyuutan had a camera in one of his eyes that he could use to take 
mental pictures of the objects he was searching for. He carried a 
staff with a magnifying lens on the end that he could use to refract 
sunlight and fire a powerful energy beam, and could breathe fire.. 


"Kyuutan" in reverse is "tankyuu", which means "search". 



7. Buruu wa Shinnyuu Kinshi?! 

(No Entry to Blue?!) 

NN (NeeNee) Nerenko 

(Boozokku-ichi no rakugaki meijin / Bowzock's best graffiti expert) 

Grotch develops a new invention, a "fattening spray" that makes 
anything sprayed with it swell up and explode. Gynamo calls for 
Bowzock's best graffiti expert NN Nerenko to go down to Earth and 
cause havoc with the spray. NN Nerenko begins spraying lamp posts and 
mailboxes, causing them to swell and explode. Meanwhile, Naoki gets 
an offer from a top car company to quit Pegasus and come to work for 
them. Naoki refuses, but when he gets back to Pegasus his friends 
don't let him inside and tell him to go get one of the cars washed. 
He thinks that maybe they saw him talking to the other car company's 
representative and think that he is planning on betraying them and 
working for the other company. He starts to feel very sorry for 
himself and, sitting in the car being washed, at first doesn't join 
them when they go to battle Nerenko. But then he realizes that he is 
still a Carranger and goes to help. When he arrives, however, the 
other four go after Nerenko and leave him to take care of the 
Wumpers, making him feel even more that they don't want him around. 
Having lost all of his confidence, he cannot even defeat the Wumpers 
and is being beaten up by them. 

But Nerenko sprays the rest of the team with the fattening spray and 
they un-transform and begin to swell up. Hearing his teammates call 
for help over his Axle Bracelet, Naoki pulls himself together, rushes 
there and faces Nerenko. Nerenko blasts open a fire hydrant and 
blasts off some pine branches, and Naoki figures out a way to save 
his friends. Remembering the car wash, Naoki tricks Nerenko into 
using the spray to enlarge the pine branches so they become like 
giant brushes. Then Naoki begins spinning around with the pine 
branches in his hands as the water from the hydrant fountains over 
his teammates, performing the "Gekisou Car Washer" and scrubbing off 
the fattening spray. The rest of the team changes again and Nerenko 
is quickly defeated. Grotch gives him some imo-youkan and he 
enlarges, but is destroyed by the RV Robo. Naoki realizes that his 
friends still like him but they vanish when his back is turned. Once 
again depressed, he goes back to Pegasus where he discovers that they 
had been planning him a surprise birthday party. He is overjoyed, 
except...his birthday actually isn't until the following month. 


Nerenko's main weapon was the fattening spray developed by Grotch, 
which caused anything sprayed by it to puff up and explode. He could 
also fire an energy beam from his face, called the Nerenko Beam. 



8. Henshin Bureesu Fukeitai 

(Not Carrying the Changing Bracelet) 

YY (YaaYaa) Bingo, YY (YaaYaa) Gonza 

(Boozokku-ichi no hashiriya / Bowzock's best racer) 

YY Bingo marauds through the streets until Green Racer starts to 
chase him. Green Racer swerves through some obstacles in front of 
Bingo's car and makes him crash and be killed, then strikes an 
appropriate victory pose. After un-transforming, Minoru practices 
other poses but while he does so, his Axle Bracelet slips off his 
hand and lands in the grass nearby. YY Bingo's younger brother YY 
Gonza vows to get revenge for his slain brother and goes to Earth. 
Minoru tries to change into Green Racer again but discovers his 
bracelet missing. It is found by Gonza when he goes to put flowers on
 Bingo's grave, and he decides to use it as a tail ornament. When 
Minoru tries to get Dappu to just make a new one, Dappu slaps him and 
tells him there is only one, and that without it he can never become 
Green Racer again. Determined to prove himself, Minoru joins his 
teammates and takes on YY Gonza single-handedly, getting severely 
beaten up. The Carrangers step in and blast Gonza, who eats some imo-
youkan and enlarges, the bracelet slipping off his tail. Minoru runs 
for cover and finally finds the bracelet, then becomes Green Racer 
and joins his teammates to form the RV Robo to kill YY Gonza. 


YY Gonza could fire an energy beam from his horn, and was an expert driver. 



9. Sutaa e no U Taan 

(A U-Turn to the Stars) 

KK (KuuKuu) Esu 

(Boozokku no sara-arai / Bowzock's dishwasher) 

Kyousuke is dreaming about fighting a Bowzock monster who looks just 
like BB Donpa, except with a blond mohawk and long tongue, when he is
 awakened by his boss at Pegasus and chewed out for sleeping on the 
job. The two fight and Kyousuke says he is quitting the company. He 
tells the others not to stop him, and that if they want to *try* and 
stop him he'll be in the park. The others just leave him alone, since
 this happens all the time. In the park, Kyousuke mutters to himself 
that he's supposed to be a test driver, but all he does at Pegasus is
 run errands. Dappu comes along and asks Kyousuke if he wanted to 
become a racer. Kyousuke says he did, and Dappu replies that he also 
wanted to become a racer. When he was young, there was a "Speed King 
of Space" named MAX who all the children of space looked up to. Dappu
 wanted to be just like him, but there was an accident during a race 
and MAX died, although Dappu still idolizes him. At the Baribarian, 
Zonnette tells Gynamo that she had the Bowzock dishwasher KK Esu wash
 her car, but while he was cleaning the inside he accidentally 
started it up and sped down to Earth. In Zonnette's car, Esu lands on
 Earth and, knowing that he has to get back to the Baribarian, tries 
to drive back. However, Esu cannot drive and Kyousuke sees his car 
speeding wildly down the road. He changes to Red Racer and, in his 
Speeder Machine alongside Zonnette's car, coaches Esu on driving. Esu
 begins to drive rather well, feeling that the speed is familiar to 
him, when Zelmoda appears and tells him to come back. Startled, Esu 
crashes his car. The Carrangers gather where Esu is and get ready to 
fight, but he tells them he is not a Bowzock. He is actually the 
Speed King MAX. Dappu sees this on a monitor and is shocked. MAX 
explains that after the crash in space, he landed on a small planet 
where Zelmoda and Grotch found him. With Grotch's "Forgetfulness 
Water-Gun", they made him lose his memory and turned him into 
Bowzock's dishwasher, KK Esu. Now his memory has returned, but 
Zelmoda and Grotch appear and blast him. While he is recovering, 
Grotch sprays him again with his water-gun, making him revert back to
 KK Esu. On Zelmoda's order, he attacks the Carrangers until Dappu, 
who has come to the scene and has seen everything, jumps out and 
tells MAX that he hates him. Dappu says that he looked up to MAX and 
wanted to be just like him, but now he hates him. Esu looks at Dappu,
 as Zelmoda leaps into the air to attack Dappu for interfering. At 
the last moment, Esu throws himself in the path of Zelmoda's sword to
 save Dappu. Esu changes back to his true form and Dappu rushes over 
to him crying and screaming his name. The Carrangers clench their 
fists in anger and attack Zelmoda and a bunch of Wumpers. Red Racer 
duels with Zelmoda and stabs him in the stomach with his Viblade, but
 Zelmoda counterattacks with a series of headbutts. Red Racer 
proceeds to pound on Zelmoda's head with a series of punches until 
Grotch appears in a car and Zelmoda retreats. MAX's body is placed in
 the hand of the RV Robo as the sun sets, and it turns into a shower 
of light and disappears off into the sky, as Dappu sees MAX in his 
old car waving goodbye. Kyousuke says that he wants to become a great
 racer just like MAX, so even if he doesn't like things sometimes, he
 won't quit Pegasus. 

KK Esu could create a whirlwind accompanied by a dishwashing squeak 
sound to attack his enemies. He could also fire an energy beam from 
his oversized eye. 



10. Daigyakuten!! Jitensha Kyoushuu 

(A Great Reversal!! Bicycle Training) 

LL (ReeRee) Onene 

LL Onene goes to Earth to try to make a band of female bikers (on 
bicycles), the Bowzock Ladies, using special headbands that turn 
people into her followers. She also gets Naoki under her power, and 
with him at her side she and her gang go riding through the streets 
causing chaos on their bicycles. Natsumi manages to stop Naoki's bike 
by dismantling it, and Naoki undergoes special training to beat 
Onene. When the Carrangers catch up to Onene, Naoki beats her with 
his new Hyper Hairpin Kick. 

LL Onene used special headbands to turn people into members of her 
bicycle gang. She used a stick as a weapon and could fire energy 
beams from her eyes. Her bicycle was called "Ryuuseigou" ("ryuusei" 
meaning "meteor", and "gou" being a popular suffix for vehicle 
names). 

"Oneesan" means "big sister" in Japanese. 





11. Ikari no Juuryou Oobaa 

(The Weight Over of Anger) 

PP (PaaPaa) Rappa 

(Boozokku-ichi no suuji no majutsushi / Bowzock's best number magician) 

Natsumi and Youko go to try on some new swimsuits, but when Youko 
sees Natsumi in hers she is worried that compared to Natsumi, she is 
fat. When numbers all over the city begin to go crazy (people's bank 
account figures floating over to other account books, fruit prices 
dropping to 2 yen), the Carrangers investigate and find PP Rappa. He 
can use his staff to mess up any numbers he sees, and tries to use it
 to throw off a speeding truck's speedometer to make it go faster and 
hit the Carrangers, but his beam runs out of power. Pink Racer 
launches a flying kick but misses and lands on top of Rappa, who 
calls her fat. Pink Racer gets mad at him and uppercuts him into the 
sky. Rappa retreats and Youko, after seeing a TV talk show-type 
announcer call the Pink Racer a little fat, goes on a strict exercise 
plan. Rappa gets a new battery to power-up his staff and attacks 
again, sending a school bus full of children careening out of 
control. Youko is shocked that her weight is not changing despite her 
efforts, and when the others go to fight Rappa she is stuck in a 
heavily padded jogging suit and falls, injuring her hip. While the 
others fight Rappa and his Number Bombs, Youko realizes that it must 
have been his doing that the scale reading of her weight hasn't been 
changing. Filled with renewed energy, Youko snaps her hip back into 
place and joins her friends. She tells Rappa that she won't forgive 
him for messing with her weight, and proceeds to beat the stuffing 
out of him, although he insists that he knows nothing about any 
scale. After he is destroyed Youko tries the scale again....but her 
weight still remains the same. It wasn't Rappa's doing after all, and 
Youko is depressed. Her friends try to cheer her up and she decides 
to have them take her out for chocolate parfait. 


PP Rappa could mess up any numbers he saw with his staff. He also 
used "Number Bombs" (Suuji Bakudan) as weapons -- these were 
basically cardboard cutouts of numbers that exploded on impact. When 
he enlarged himself, he sang a counting song using weapons that 
looked like each number, but only got to 3. The number1 looks like a 
smokestack, so he created a factory smokestack that fired explosive 
charges. The number 2 looks like a duck's neck, so he created a big 
toy duck that fired sonic "quacks". The number 3 looks like an ear, 
so he created an ear....which couldn't do anything, so the Carrangers
 beat him. 



12. Uchuu Kara Kita Shingou Yarou 

(The Traffic Light Guy that Came from Space) 

UU (UuUu) Uurin 

UU Uurin could fire energy blasts from his eyes and wanted to eat 
Signalman. 



13. Shutsudou!! Jiman no Kinkyuu Sharyou 

(March Out!! The Emergency Vehicle of Pride) 

Saisei (Revived) UU Uurin 

The revived UU Uurin grew spikes from out of his back and had 
sunglasses. He could fire energy blasts from his eyes and his back 
spikes. 



14. Kaminari Jigoku e Furu Akuseru 

(Full Acceleration to a Thunder Hell) 

Erekinta 

Minoru is selling a special liquid that can increase a vehicle's 
speed by a million times. He is having no luck until Zelmoda pulls 
him aside and buys a bottle. Zelmoda knows of a "Baki-Baki Legned" in 
which anyone who breaks a certain boundary speed will be given 
invincible power. For the sake of defeating the Carrangers, Zelmoda 
decides to try it, but as he approaches the boundary speed the sky 
darkens and thunder starts rumbling. Zelmoda crashes because he is 
terrified of thunder, as Green Racer dashes to the scene. But as the 
thunder crashes again, Green Racer also becomes petrified with fear, 
and cowers on the ground. Signalman arrives and sees both Zelmoda and 
Green Racer trembling. A group of Wumpers appears and Signalman must 
fight them off himself, eventually forcing them to retreat with 
Zelmoda close behind. The Carrangers look down on Minoru back at 
Pegasus for chickening out during the fight. Minoru reveals that when 
he was a child fishing during a thunderstorm, he caught an eel but 
when he brought it up on his pole he was shocked, and since then he 
has had a fear of the thunder. Zelmoda tells Gynamo that when he was 
young, he used to make fun of the thunder until it zapped him one day 
and gave him a fear of thunder also. Gynamo volunteers to break the 
boundary speed in Zelmoda's place, but Zelmoda knocks him out and 
vows to overcome his fear. He gets on his motorcycle again and 
succeeds this time, summoning the legendary warrior Elekinta. The 
Carrangers arrive and fight Elekinta but are being beaten by Elekinta 
and Zelmoda's combined thunder attacks. Green Racer runs away out of 
fear of Elekinta's thunder power, with Pink Racer and Yellow Racer 
close behind. Signalman also shows up, and he and the remaining 
Carrangers continue the fight. Dappu tells Minoru to stick his hand 
in a bucket of water with an eel inside. Minoru does and is shocked 
because it was an electric eel that Dappu thought would help him 
overcome his fear. Instead, it makes it worse. Then Minoru smells 
something delicious. He sees Youko and Natsumi cooking some eel, and 
goes over to eat some. After he has eaten it, Dappu tells him that 
the eel was actually the same electric eel that shocked him earlier. 
Filled with courage and renewed confidence, Minoru and the others 
transform and go the battle. Green Racer leads the attack and tosses 
Elekinta aside. Elekinta enlarges himself without any imo-youkan and 
the Rangers call their RVs. With Signalman's help, they kill 
Elekinta. Back at Pegasus, Minoru is given the bill for the electric 
eel from the Amazon - 75,000 yen. 

Elekinta rode a motorcycle with a "+" on the front, and alongside 
Zelmoda's bike which had a "-" on it, he could use a variety of 
electric-based attacks: the Bakibaki Rolling Thunder (the two 
motorcycles ride in a circle around the enemy and fire electric 
blasts at them), the Bakibaki Cross Thunder (the two motorcycles jump
 at each other and when they pass each other, a large bolt of 
lightning is fired), and the Bakibaki Big Thunder (a big lightning 
blast from both bikes at once). After enlarging, he used two 
electrode-like weapons that he could use to fire electric blasts. 



15. Aku Made Karimen Renaichuu! 

(A Learner's Permit in the Midst of Love) 

GG (GooGoo) Goki-chan 

GG Goki-chan was equipped with a "Powerful Dancer" device that 
enabled him to cause earthquakes by dancing. 

"Gokiburi" means "cockroach" in Japanese. 



16. Warujie Gouryuu Chuui 

(A Cunning Merging Signal) 

JJ (JeeJee) Jetton 

JJ Jetton was one of the Gorotsuki always hanging around the BB 
Saloon and not doing anything. He is selected by the evil consultant 
Ritchihiker because he is the most stupid one there, and Ritchihiker 
pretends to be teaching him. The Carrangers are fooled by 
Ritchihiker's plot although Signalman remembers seeing Ritchihiker 
somewhere before. Realizing that Signalman could blow his cover, 
Ritchihiker lures him into a trap and tries to blow him up. 
Meanwhile, Ritchihiker invites the Carrangers to JJ Jetton's 
graduation, and invites them to toast with him. Just as they are 
about to drink poisoned wine, the glasses are shot from their hands 
by Signalman, battered but still alive, who warns them that 
Ritchihiker is evil. His plan is blown, so JJ Jetton reverts back to 
his normal self and attacks the Carrangers, who defeat him with no 
problem. 

JJ Jetton used wrestling-like moves when he fought (headlocks, etc.). 
He could fire energy beams from his eyes. 



17. Oshikise Shoumen Shoutotsu! 

(The Company-Uniform's Head-on Collision!) 

ZZ (ZeeZee) Zeri 

(Boozokku no fasshon dezainaa / Bowzock's fashion designer) 

Signalman saves an alien from a bunch of Wumpers, and in return the 
"space fashion designer" Zeri makes Signalman a jacket as a present. 
When Natsumi and Youko, who had heard the battle, tell him that the 
jacket looks terrible, he is overcome by rage and starts chasing 
them. Zeri reveals himself to be Bowzock's fashion designer ZZ Zeri 
and Ritchihiker controls Signalman's anger by using a remote control 
for the "Anger Jacket" he is wearing. Although the Carrangers try to 
reason with him, Zeri even makes a huge jacket that fits on Sirender 
and Signalman goes wild with rage. Red Racer finally jumps into 
Sirender's cockpit and tears the jacket from him, and Signalman 
regains his senses. He tears off the jacket from Sirender and 
destroys Ritchihiker's remote, so Zeri takes over and enlarges to 
fight. Zeri attacks with strands of cloth that he electrifies, and 
patchwork-shaped beams from his eyes, but is quickly destroyed. 


ZZ Zeri created the Anger Jacket, which allowed Ritchihiker to cause 
anyone who wore it to become suddenly enraged. He could fire long 
cloth tendrils from his shoulders and send electric energy through 
them to shock what was tangled inside. He could fire eyebeams shaped 
like rags and patches as well. 



18. Usotsuki Haato Seibichuu 

(A Lying Heart Under Adjustment) 

OO (OoOo) Oopa 

(Boozokku-ichi no onsen kenkyuuka / Bowzock's best hot spring 
researcher) 

OO Oopa has created a "Nuginugi Beam Gun" that will cause anyone it 
strikes to want to take off his/her clothes. Although Zonnette tells 
him that it is a perverted plan, Ritchihiker's plan is to hit the 
Carrangers with it so they take off their clothes and catch colds so 
they cannot fight. Meanwhile, at a recreational visit to a resort 
with the Pegasus president, the Pegasus team meets a girl named Emi 
who tells them of an alien nearby. She loves to play tricks on people 
and there is no alien to be found. But later, she sees Oopa run past 
her and tries to tell the Pegasus team that there really is an alien 
this time. No one believes her but Natsumi, who goes with her and 
they discover Oopa's cabin. Oopa fires the beamgun but Natsumi 
deflects it with her Axle Bracelet to hit Dappu, standing nearby. 
Natsumi and Emi run, but Natsumi cannot change since her Axle 
Bracelet has been damaged. Dappu is affected by the gun and takes his 
clothes off, but then must find some new ones. He shows up to warn 
the other Carrangers wearing a towel and safety pin, and they go to 
help Natsumi. Natsumi steals the safety pin from Dappu and fixes her 
bracelet, then changes to fight Oopa. Oopa breathes fire but Natsumi 
steals the beam gun away from him and hits him with it, making him 
take off his robe. Natsumi defeats him, he enlarges, and the 
Carrangers kill the enlarged Oopa. Emi promises not to lie again. 


OO Oopa created the Nuginugi Beam Gun, which made anyone hit by it 
want to suddenly take off their clothes. He could also breathe fire,
 and when he enlarged himself he used wash basins and soap streams as 
weapons, and could perform the "Onsen Kougeki" ("Hot Spring Attack"), 
summoning forth hot geysers around the enemy. 



19. Koi no Atenige Musume! 

(The Hit-and-Run Girl of Love!) 

HH (HyuuHyuu) Deeo 

(Boozokku-ichi no pitchaa / Bowzock's best pitcher) 

HH Deeo could throw "Bomb Balls" (Bakudan Booru) and "Fireball Balls"
 (Hinotama Booru) as weapons. 

"Hyuu-Deeo" is very similar to "Hideo", the first name of the famous 
Japanese baseball player Hideo Nomo. 



20. Shijou Saikou no Meisha!! 

(Test Drive the Ultimate Famous Cars!!) 

WW (WaaWaa) Waritcho 

(Boozokku-ichi no hakkutsu yarou / Bowzock's best excavator) 

Gynamo has heard of a legend of two "untamed cars", the Pegasus 
Thunder and the Dragon Cruiser, that roamed around the universe but 
were sealed inside a meteor. He sends WW Waritcho to find them, and 
Waritcho succeeds accidentally (he rests on a meteor and accidentally 
breaks the seal holding the cars inside). The two cars speed for 
Earth, and Waritcho follows. Kyousuke and Naoki see the cars and when 
they try to drive them the cars turn against the two. But when 
Waritcho appears and captures both Naoki and the Dragon Cruiser, 
Kyousuke and the Pegasus Thunder join forces to save their friends. 
Kyousuke and the Pegasus Thunder attack Waritcho and save Naoki and 
the Dragon Cruiser, and with the other Carrangers, manage to kill 
Waritcho. The cars agree to help the Carrangers, and put Carranger 
symbols on themselves. 

WW Waritcho had a jetpack on his back that he could use to fly at 
high speeds, even through space. He could fire energy blasts from his 
eyes and had a pickax and net as weapons. 

"Waritcho" could be derived from "warui chou", or "bad bird". 



21. Kaanabi o Koeta Kaanabi 

(The Carnavi that Surpassed Carnavi) (carnavi = short for "car 
navigation") 

AA (AaAa) Abanba 

(Boozokku-ichi no kitoushi / Bowzock's best shaman) 

At the Baribarian, Zonnette is performing a song and Ritchihiker (and 
all the Gorotsuki) are enchanted by her, when Gynamo and Zelmoda come 
up and ask Ritchihiker how he is planning to get rid of the 
Carrangers. Ritchihiker replies that he has realized why Bowzock can 
never win. Thinking fast, he tells Gynamo and Zelmoda that they are 
cursed by the "Plague God of Space" and that they need to exorcise 
it. To this end, Gynamo calls in AA Abanba, who can make herself 
invisible, who plans to capture the Carrangers and sacrifice them to 
the Plague God to exorcise it. Meanwhile, Youko asks Kyousuke to take 
her to the bank but reads the map wrong and gives continually wrong 
directions, causing Kyousuke to crash. When Abanba appears, she fades 
in and out and Pink Racer tries to guide Red Racer to her, but once 
again she causes a crash. Abanba captures Red Racer, Blue Racer, and 
Green Racer and prepares the sacrifice. Feeling responsible, Youko 
asks Natsumi to do something, and the two create the Carnavic, a 
small computerlike tracking device that can trace down Abanba. But it 
doesn't work. Youko is overcome by guilt at what she has caused and 
cries, her tears falling into the machine. Suddenly it whirs to life.
 Abanba continues the ceremony when Pink and Yellow Racer attack. 
Abanba disappears but using the Carnavic, Pink Racer can find her 
anywhere and blast her. Abanba tries to run but Yellow Racer changes 
the Carnavic into a gun mode, the Navic Shot, and fires a homing 
blast that seeks out and hits Abanba. Finally Red Racer combines the 
Navic Shot with the Auto Blaster into the Navic Blaster, and defeats 
Abanba. Even after enlarging, Abanba tries her invisibility, but with
 the Carnavic hooked up to the RV Robo she is no match. Signalman in 
Sirender destroys the staff she uses to disappear and Abanba is 
destroyed. 

AA Abanba could use the crystal ball on her staff to make herself 
invisible. She could also fire a beam from the staff. 



22. Higeki no Koutsuu Ruuru Taishitsu 

(The Tragic Traffic Rule Habit) 

CC (ChaaChaa) Chakkoo 

(Boozokku-ichi no konchuu saishuu / Bowzock's best insect collector) 

It is summer vacation, but Ichitarou's father is making him go to 
school and study instead of playing. Ichitarou tries to escape to 
Signalman, but Signalman remembers how he studied traffic safety at 
summer school when he was a child, and he thinks it is only proper 
for all children to spend their summers studying. He takes Ichitarou
 to school against his will. At Pegasus, Dappu is sick after eating 
too much watermelon. Meanwhile, the ranks of Bowzock have been 
dwindling as more and more of its members are leaving the sinking 
ship. In order to recruit more members, Gynamo decides to capture the 
children of Earth and turn them into new Bowzock. He calls in CC 
Chakkoo, who goes to Earth and captures Ichitarou along with several 
other children from the school. Signalman and Kyousuke see the 
kidnapping and Kyousuke starts to rush across the street to help, but 
the light says "Don't Walk" and Signalman refuses to let Kyousuke 
cross. When Kyousuke asks him if he doesn't care about Ichitarou, 
Signalman remembers all the drilling he went through to learn the 
rules of traffic safety, and now his body cannot allow him to break 
any traffic rule, even though he wants to save Ichitarou. When the 
light turns to "Walk", the two of them chase after Chakkoo but 
Zelmoda intervenes and Chakkoo escapes. Kyousuke blames Signalman and 
says that children should play during summer vacation. Kyousuke tells 
Signalman that it's because he studied too much that he became a 
prisoner to the traffic rules. Signalman realizes that it was his 
fault and feels terrible, calling himself an idiot and banging his 
head against trees, a large shrine bell, and a wall. His head breaks 
through the wall and he sees Zelmoda's car outside a warehouse. 
Inside, Zelmoda and Chakkoo have placed the three kidnapped children 
in giant flowerpots with only their heads sticking out, and are 
proceeding to water them. The three start to change into Bowzock 
(Ichitarou gets green wrinkled skin and antennae) when Signalman 
rushes in on his Polispeeder. But Chakkoo is prepared. He tosses his 
net which becomes a "No Entry" sign, and Signalman turns around out 
the way he came since he is conditioned to follow the signs. More 
signs lead him into a trap and Chakkoo prepares to stab him with a 
giant dissecting pin. The Carrangers arrive and blast Chakkoo, and 
after defeating a bunch of Wumpers, they fight and defeat Chakkoo. 
Chakkoo enlarges himself, and the Rangers call the RV Robo. Chakkoo 
tries to capture the RV Robo in a net but Signalman arrives in 
Sirender and blows Chakkoo away with the Siren Vulcan of Anger. 
Signalman and the Carrangers return to the warehouse where Signalman 
blasts away the flowerpots holding the children, and they are 
returned to normal. Ichitarou, Signalman, and the Carrangers enjoy a 
night of eating shaved ice and playing with sparklers. 


CC Chakkoo could fire beams shaped like eyeballs from his eyes. He 
used an oversized butterfly net to capture children with and had a 
giant dissecting pin as a weapon. When he enlarged himself, CC 
Chakkoo used a large fishing net to capture his enemies and could 
shock them through it with energy. 



23. Oujousama ni Oobaahiito 

(An Overheat to the Princess) 

VV (BuuBuu) Goriin 

(Boozokku-ichi no kin medarisuto / Bowzock's best gold medalist) 

VV Goriin is summoned to steal the Power Stone from the visiting 
princess Karen of the Vivalde Kingdom, because it is told to have 
great powers. Naoki and his friends meet the princess on the street, 
but Naoki is terribly shy and cannot even speak to her. Later, her 
car is being chased by Goriin, who uses his torch to create a ring of 
fire around it, and demands the Power Stone. Naoki becomes Blue Racer 
and comes to help, fighting Goriin as he uses a variety of Olympic-
based attacks (javelin, ribbon throw, boxing). But when Karen hugs 
him for saving her, he becomes so flustered that he un-transforms and 
must run away with her. The two try to hide from Goriin and realize 
that his power comes from his medal, which he rubs to activate his 
attacks. They manage to steal it but Goriin captures Karen and 
threatens to kill her unless Naoki hands it over. Naoki complies and 
just misses being blasted by Goriin. He transforms into Blue Racer 
and saves her, then is joined by his teammates as they fight Goriin 
and a bunch of Wumpers. Goriin is defeated and there is a bon dance 
celebration. The princess kisses Naoki on the cheek and he faints. 

VV Goriin received his powers from his gold medal,and could create a 
number of Olympic-related weapons and give himself certain abilities 
by using it. The Goriin Triple Jump enabled him to leap over a car 
from the back. His Olympic weapons were: Goriin Ribbon, Goriin Ring 
(gymnastics), Goriin Boxing (boxing gloves), Goriin Javelin, Goriin 
Soccer Kick, Goriin Tennis, Goriin Dunk (basketball), and Goriin Shot 
Put. He could also fire a blast shaped like the Olympic 5 rings from 
his head, and carried a torch that he could use to create a ring of 
fire on the ground. 



24. Kyuuhasshin?! Nyuu Riidaa 

(Emergency Lift-off?! New Leader)

TT Terurin could fire ring-shaped beams from his eyes. 



25. Nazonazo Warikomi Musume 

(The Mysterious Squeezing-in Girl) 

SS (SuuSuu) Pamaan 

(Boozokku-ichi no hiiro kenkyuuka / Bowzock's best hero researcher) 

A mysterious girl arrives on Earth and sets out to meet the 
Carrangers. She uses a staff to change her clothing and starts 
looking for them, asking the Pegasus team for help in finding them. 
They send her off in a random direction but a paper airplane lands at 
their feet. It is a flyer advertising a new team of warriors. The 
Carrangers investigate to find SS Pamaan and his Zokurangers (made up 
of Gorotsuki). Pamaan has studied the Carrangers' moves and so his 
team begins to win against them, until the mysterious girl appears 
again, changing herself into a Carranger-like costume and calling 
herself the White Racer. She uses her "Nazonazo Bomb" on Pamaan, 
which is a ball that she throws and then asks a riddle. If the person 
holding the ball cannot answer the riddle, it blows up. Pamaan is bad 
at riddles so he gets blown up and retreats. The girl reveals herself 
to be Radiata Fanbelt, a fan of the Carrangers who has come to meet 
them and wants to become one of them. Red Racer tells her it is too 
dangerous and she runs off. She is captured by Pamaan, who ties her 
to a stake and challenges the Carrangers. The Zokuranger team 
unleashes the Zokuren Bazooka, powered by one of Zonnette's jewels, 
and blasts the Carrangers. Radiata uses her magic to change herself 
into Gynamo and demands that Pamaan set him free. Pamaan is fooled 
and this gives the Carrangers time to get the Formula Nova and defeat 
the Zokurangers. Radiata finds Zonnette's jewel and seems to 
recognize it, and takes it with her. Pamaan enlarges and prepares to 
launch a deadly attack with an evil sword, but the name is too long 
and the Carrangers kill him before he has finished announcing it. 
Radiata promises to get stronger and then return someday. 


SS Pamaan, aka Zoku Red, was leader of the "Bousou Sentai 
Zokurangers". He used a gun and sword as weapons and his teammates 
used weapons that were similar to the corresponding Carrangers' 
weapons. They also used a giant cannon, the Zokuren Bazooka. When he 
enlarged, Pamaan began to use a legendary evil sword but was too busy 
telling its name and attack ("Great Galaxy Electric-Shock Science 
Darkness Sword! Lightning Electric-Shock Plasma Cyber Aurora 
Centrifugal Gravity Super Thunder...") and he was killed. 

"Suu-Pamaan" is probably derived from "Suupaaman", or Superman. 



26. Nonsutoppu Takuhai Buki 

(The Nonstop Home Delivery Weapon) 

DD (DooDoo) Donmo 

(Boozokku-ichi no tsuuhan mania / Bowzock's best phone-shopping maniac) 

DD Donmo is a phone-shopping fanatic armed with a phone-order catalog
 and cellular phones on his wrists. He orders a "Takabiru-basami" 
(Tall Building Scissors) which drops out of the sky in seconds, and 
slices apartment buildings to shreds with it. The Carrangers have 
built a new weapon, a powerful gun called the Giga Booster, but 
Minoru accidentally switched its box with another box containing a 
baby cradle to be sent to a friend of his in Hokkaido. He rushes off 
after the delivery truck to try to retrieve it while the others take 
on Donmo. They try to blast him, but Donmo orders a mirror vest, the 
Haneka A, and reflects their beams. Realizing that they have to stop 
his orders from coming through, the Carrangers minus Green Racer call 
the RV Robo and fight Donmo, but when Donmo tries to order something 
they swat it aside and prevent it from reaching him. One order 
manages to go through -- a box full of personalized bombs (they say 
"DD" on them) that he uses to blast the RV Robo. Meanwhile, Minoru 
meets Signalman and Ichitarou in Hokkaido and they help him find the 
Giga Booster with his friend's baby climbing on it. He manages to get 
the baby off the powerful cannon and in order to get back to the 
others in time, he climbs into a box and has Signalman, using 
Sirender, toss him all the way back to the Carrangers with the Giga 
Booster. He lands on DD Donmo and then blasts him with the Giga 
Booster. Donmo orders the Hero Sayonara Cannon (a large standing gun) 
but the Giga Booster's Cannon Mode overpowers it and Donmo blows up. 
He doesn't get a chance to enlarge himself because his catalog did 
not include imo-youkan. 

DD Donmo could order various weapons and other items from his phone-
shopping catalog. These included "Takabiru Basami" (Tall-Building 
Cutting Scissors), to slice buildings to ribbons; a reflective vest 
called the Haneka Ace; a giant banana peel to make the RV Robo slip 
and fall; a box full of personalized bombs that said "DD" on them; 
and a big gun called the Hero Sayonara Cannon. He could fire energy 
blasts from his eyes but never enlarged since imo-youkan wasn't part 
of the merchandise in his catalog.

(The Lonely New Post's Crossroads...) 

XX (KusuKusu) Mireeno 

(Boozokku-ichi no piza-zukuri no meijin / Bowzock's best pizza making expert) 

Although Zonnette tries to tell Gynamo about XX Mileeno's plan to 
turn the Carrangers into pizza, Gynamo and the others are too busy 
preparing for the yearly Bowzock Festival, and Mileeno is just about 
forgotten. He decides to go to Earth by himself to show them not to 
make fun of pizza. Meanwhile, Signalman receives a card from his son 
Sigtarou back on the Police Planet, who is having a sports meet at 
his elementary school and wants to run the 3-legged race with his 
father. Signalman wants to go home but feels a need to stay on Earth 
until Bowzock is defeated, and he asks his son to forgive him. He 
accidentally knocks over his bike and takes it to Pegasus, but the 
Bowzock alarm sounds and Dappu uses his Carmagic Power to fix 
Signalman's bike so the Carrangers can move out. They meet up with 
Signalman and Ichitarou, who is eating pizza he says was given to him 
by a Bowzock. Signalman goes after him but drops the picture of his 
wife and son, which Ichitarou finds. Signalman confronts Mileeno but 
he tricks Signalman into going off looking for pizzas that are 
causing trouble. When the Carrangers confront him, he attacks them 
with pizza bombs and uses his pizzas to take control of the Pegasus 
Thunder and Dragon Cruiser. The Carrangers are attacked by the cars 
and blown into a giant oven with pizza dough inside, and Mileeno adds 
the toppings and starts to cook his Carranger pizza. Signalman sees 
the smoke from Mileeno's oven and rushes to investigate. He tries to 
free the Carrangers but Mileeno's pizza bomb sends him flying and he 
is attacked by the Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser. He stops them 
by shining all the red lights on his armor, which is the universal 
sign for "stop" across the galaxy, and the control pizzas fall off. 
Mileeno is about to slice the Carranger pizza when Signalman blasts 
him and then shoots the Carrangers free. Together, they attack and 
defeat Mileeno, who enlarges with an imo-youkan pizza. The RV Robo 
and Sirender are called and they defeat Mileeno. After the battle, 
Ichitarou goes to see Signalman but is captured by Zelmoda and taken 
away. 

XX Mireeno could throw flying pizza bombs and used special pizzas to 
control the Dragon Cruiser and Pegasus Thunder. He also used a giant 
oven to trap the Carrangers in a giant pizza. 

"Mireeno" is probably derived from the Italian city "Milan". 



28. Saraba Shingou Yarou!! 

(Farewell Traffic Light Guy!!) 

HH (HoiHoi) Wasshoishoi 

(Boozokku-ichi no omatsuri yarou / Bowzock's best festival guy) 

HH Wasshoishoi could fire an energy blast from the shrine on his head
 and also used the shrine to headbutt people. He could shoot threads 
of cotton candy ("wata-ame") from his fingertips. 

"Wasshoi" is a rallying cry used during Japanese festivals by people 
carrying mikoshi (palanquin-like temples) as they march through the 
streets. 



29. Yokisenu Daikaijuu Jiko!! 

(The Unexpected Great Monster Accident!!) 

Bureekingu (Braking) 

Braking was a giant dinosaur-shaped robot piloted by Ritchihiker in a
 control seat in its forehead. Braking could fire energy blasts from 
its eyes and shock the enemy with its bite and through its tail.

The Rebuilt Braking could fire energy blasts from its eyes and had a 
cannon on its chest that fired explosive cannonballs. It also had a 
crest on its head that it could fire like a boomerang, the King 
Slugger (the name is a reference to the hero of another tokusatsu 
series, Ultra Seven, who also had a crest on his head that could be 
fired like a boomerang, called the Eye Slugger). 




32. RV Robo Daigyakusou! 

(The Great Reverse Run of the RV Robo) 

ZZ (ZukeZuke) Gyuuri 

(Boozokku-ichi no kimuchi-zuki / Bowzock's biggest kim chee lover) 

With the RV Robo stolen by Braking, the Carrangers know that their 
first priority is to retrieve it. Dappu is still in hibernation and 
the VRV Master is gone but leaves behind a videotape for Kyousuke. It 
is a message from the VRV Master telling him that it is his duty as 
Carranger leader to get the RV Robo back. Kyousuke is overcome by 
this new obligation and stiffens up, requiring the other four Pegasus 
members to massage him back into normalcy. Meanwhile, since 
Ritchihiker was killed when the Rebuilt Braking was destroyed, 
Zelmoda and Grotch are wondering what will become of Bowzock. 
Suddenly, in through the BB Saloon doors come Gynamo and Zonnette, 
who have returned from their yakiniku shop jobs on Earth (which they 
got after Ritchiritchihiker kicked them out and took over) to reclaim 
Bowzock. Zonnette says that she misses the delicious kim chee that 
she ate on Earth, and to please her Gynamo sends Bowzock's biggest 
kim chee lover ZZ Gyuuri to Earth with the RV Robo to get some. To 
control the RV Robo, Grotch has developed a pack of "Bowzock 
Batteries" that are attached to the front of the RV Robo and allow ZZ
 Gyuuri and a team of Wumpers to pilot it. ZZ Gyuuri arrives on Earth
 and asks Ichitarou where he can find delicious kim chee. Ichitarou 
points him to a store and Gyuuri heads for it, but the owner tells 
him that he can find much more delicious kim chee in Korea. At 
Pegasus, the Bowzock alarm sounds and the Carrangers rush to Gyuuri. 
Kyousuke is so overwhelmed by his new sense of responsibility that he
 takes charge and interferes in everyone else's fight in an attempt 
to keep them safe since it his duty as leader. Gyuuri starts out for 
Korea in the RV Robo, but the Carrangers form the VRV Robo and 
intercept him. Gyuuri tells them that the Bowzock Batteries are also 
bombs, and that if they attack they will explode and destroy the RV 
Robo. The two giants standoff until sunset, and finally Red Racer 
disembarks and jumps on board the RV Robo. He fights his way to ZZ 
Gyuuri and the two of them take the battle outside the cockpit and on
 top of the Bowzock Battery pack. Red Racer kicks Gyuuri off the 
battery pack and he goes crashing to the ground, then blasts the 
battery pack off the RV Robo's body and it falls, squashing Gyuuri 
beneath it. Red Racer returns to the VRV Robo triumphant but Gyuuri, 
still alive, eats some imo-youkan and enlarges himself. The 
Carrangers finish him off with the Victory Twister, and then take 
both robots back to Pegasus. 

ZZ Gyuuri used a sword to fight and used Bowzock batteries to take 
control of the RV Robo. 

"Kyuuri" means "cucumber" in Japanese. 



33. Omezame! Gekisou Dappu 

(Awaken! Violent Dashing Dappu) 

UU (UsuUsu) Ussu 

UU Ussu is given a "Violent Idiot Drink" (Gekibaka Drink) and is 
filled with power. He goes to Earth and begins causing a heat wave 
from the exhaust on his motorcycle, which he has filled up with the 
same drink. The Carrangers are planning a surprise party at a place 
in the countryside Dappu liked a lot for Dappu when he comes out of 
his hibernation when they see a forest burning from Ussu's heat. They
 use their VRV Fighters to put out the fire and challenge Ussu. But 
Ussu is so hot and can create heat shields so they cannot even 
approach him. Back at Pegasus, Dappu has awakened from his sleep and 
sees the Carrangers in trouble. He hears something on the news that 
gives him an idea, but is afraid of telling it to the Carrangers 
because it will spoil the surprise if he is awake already. He gets a 
plan and uses a disguise kit to disguise himself as a rocker, singing
 a song about earthworms. The Carrangers, back in human form, realize
 that if they make like earthworms and burrow from underneath Ussu, 
his heat can't touch them. They thank the rocker and go off, knowing 
that it was Dappu. The Dragon Cruiser burrows underground and hits 
Ussu from below, distracting him so that the Pegasus Thunder can 
blast him. After he enlarges and is destroyed, the Pegasus team 
brings Dappu to the party spot. Dappu pretends to be sleeping still 
yet, and acts surprised at the party, although the Pegasus team knows
 he was the one who saved them. 

UU Ussu poured the Gekibaka drink into his motorcycle and could then 
use its exhaust to create heat waves. After drinking the Gekibaka 
drink, he could run around in a circle to create a flaming whirlwind 
and could create heat shields to repel attacks. 



34. Koi no Sewayaki Warikomi Musume 

(The Squeezing-in Girl Interfering in Love) 

FF (FiruFiru) Munchori 

At the Baribarian, a rocket comes shooting through a window with a 
letter attached to it. It is addressed to Zonnette, calling her by 
her true name and asking to meet her. Zonnette goes and Gynamo, 
thinking that Zonnette is seeing another man, assigns Bowzock's 
scandal photographer FF Munchori to follow her. Zonnette arrives at 
the place in the letter and finds out that it was from her younger 
sister Radiata Fanbelt, who asks her to come home. Zonnette drops a 
photo of Red Racer and Radiata realizes that she is in love with him.
 She starts to go to Earth to meet him, but Munchori is waiting 
outside and chases her back to Earth. When she arrives on Earth 
Munchori has followed her, but the Carrangers appear to battle 
Munchori. Radiata uses her new power-up: her Radiacar can transform 
into a robot mode, which she controls with a hand-held unit. The 
Radiacar Robo fights against Munchori for a while but its power only 
lasts for a minute or so and it shuts down, leaving the Carrangers to
 fight Munchori. Munchori shows them embarrassing pictures of them 
that he has taken but the Carrangers attack him anyway, and he is 
forced to retreat. The Carrangers return to civilian form and go to 
help Radiata, who says that she wants to meet Red Racer. She tells 
them about Zonnette and Kyousuke says that Red Racer does love 
Zonnette but just can't say it. Radiata goes into a bookstore and 
buys a magazine recommending "diary exchanging" ("koukan nikki") as a
 way to bring people together. Munchori appears outside and the 
Pegasus team prepares to change, but Radiata comes out of the store 
so they cannot, or risk their true identities being discovered. 
Radiata changes into White Racer and in the meantime the Pegasus team
 transforms. They manage to send Munchori running again, and Radiata 
says that she needs to talk to Red Racer. She gives him some advice 
on talking to Zonnette. Munchori enlarges himself and starts running 
wild in the city. The Carrangers call their VRV Machines and form the 
VRV Robo. FF Munchori fights them for a while but is then stuck 
because he realizes that if he is the one who defeats them, no one 
can take pictures of it. While he is pondering his situation, the 
Carrangers kill him with the Victory Twister. Zonnette, meanwhile, 
has come to Earth also, and when Red Racer sees her after teh battle 
he asks to go out with her (and try "diary exchanging" with her), but 
she flatly refuses him and walks away, leaving him paralyzed with 
shock. Radiata tries to get her to change her mind but she leaves. 
Radiata also leaves, and promises to return again with another power-
up. 

FF Munchori could fire energy blasts and a blinding light from the 
flash bulb on his head. He could also shoot film from his hands to 
capture enemies and attack by screaming through a megaphone 
("Megaphone Attack"). 

The first part of Munchori's name comes from "firumu", or "film". 



35. Uragiri no Shingou Yarou 

(The Traitorous Traffic Light Guy) 

GG (GonGon) Boon 

(Boozokku-ichi no otsukai yarou / Bowzock's best errand boy) 

GG Boon is sent to Earth to pick up lunches for Gynamo and the 
others. At the bento stand, Kyousuke is also there and Boon pushes 
him out of the way. Kyousuke turns into Red Racer to teach him a 
lesson, but he is so hungry that he cannot fight. Suddenly Signalman 
on his bike appears. Red Racer thanks Signalman for coming to help, 
but Signalman instead turns on Red Racer and begins fighting him. 
Boon calls Gynamo back with the news. Red Racer escapes from 
Signalman and tells the others what happened. Signalman attacks a 
playground trying to lure out the Carrangers, and when they arrive 
they notice that Signalman's traffic signals on his helmet and chest 
have turned black. Signalman attacks the Carrangers mercilessly, and 
tells them that on the Police Planet, a strange 5-colored gas has 
appeared in their atmosphere. The gas is making the children of the 
planet sick, and so the sports meet Signalman was looking forward to 
had to be cancelled. A voice told Signalman that it was because of 
the Carrangers' exhaust from the Ranger Vehicles that the gas was 
created, and Signalman is now out for revenge. The Carrangers try to 
tell Signalman it is a trick, but it is no use. Gynamo decides that 
Signalman would be a valuable ally and sends Zelmoda down to take him 
back to the BB Saloon. GG Boon steps in and takes over with the 
Carrangers, but he is defeated by the RV Robo. At the BB Saloon, 
Signalman and Gynamo agree to join forces to beat the Carrangers. 


GG Boon tossed bombs shaped like giant coins ("Otsuri Kougeki" -- "Small Change Attack"). 



36. Ayashii Hai Gasu Issou Sakusen 

(The Mysterious Pollution Gas Cleansing Operation) 

BB (BunBun) Koiya 

(Boozokku-ichi no ueki shokunin / Bowzock's best gardener) 

Dappu and the Carrangers are puzzled: their machines shouldn't be 
giving off any exhaust, so they can't be responsible for what 
happened on Signalman's planet. But if not them, who? Meanwhile, at 
the BB Saloon, Gynamo calls in Bowzock's best gardener BB Koiya to go 
to Earth and beat the Carrangers. Koiya plans to toss seeds at the 
Carrangers, then water them to make flowers grow. The flowers will 
attract space bees that will sting the Carrangers to death. Dappu 
finds out about the gas that has changed Signalman to evil, and 
discovers that drinking cider can cure him. When the Carrangers 
arrive at Koiya's area, he tries to toss seeds at them but they dodge 
and the seeds hit the Pegasus Thunder and Dragon Cruiser. Flowers 
start to grow on them, and although the Carrangers busily clear them 
away, the space bees come. Pink and Yellow Racer use the Navic Shot 
to get a lock on the bees and blast them out of the sky. Signalman 
then steps in and says he will take over, and Red Racer tries to get 
him to drink cider. He refuses and begins to fight the Carrangers. 
Koiya enlarges himself and Signalman calls on Sirender, and the 
Carrangers call the VRV Robo. Red Racer jumps into Sirender's cockpit 
and force-feeds Signalman some cider. He recovers from his trance and 
attacks Koiya. Koiya is killed by the two robots and Signalman's 
planet is returned to normal, but Dappu wonders who it was who did 
such a thing to the Police Planet. 

BB Koiya could throw seeds that bloomed into flowers, which attracted
 giant space bees to attack. The bees could fire blasts from their 
stingers. Koiya could fire an energy blast from the showerhead on the 
hose on his back ("Shower Beam") and could shoot a vine from his 
shoulders to capture people and shock them with energy. 



37. Kyoufu no Dai Uchuu Haiuei Keikaku 

(The Terrible Great Space Highway Plan) 

Norishiron 12 ("Norishiron" is derived from "nori shiro" aka "glue 
here", since Norishiron was created from a paper model) 

Norishiron 12 was a robot created from a punch-out model in the 
latest issue of "Uchuu Rando" ("Space Land" -- a reference to a 
magazine published in Japan about TV shows including Carranger, "TV 
Land", that includes punch-out models and toys every month). It was 
given to Bowzock by Exhaus and piloted by Zelmoda. It could headbutt
 enemies with its horns and could open its chest panels to reveal 
powerful cannons. It was equipped with a "Kasoku Souchi" 
("Acceleration Device") with which it could move at extremely high 
speeds for short bursts of time. It also used a red axe as a weapon 
and could execute the "Norishiron Bousou Giri" ("Norishiron Reckless 
Dashing Slice"), a dashing horizontal slash. 



38. Bakku Oorai!? Imo Yookan Jinsei 

(Back Allright!? Imo-Youkan Life) 

PP (PuriPuri) Chiipuri, Norishiron 12 

(Boozokku-ichi no meekuappu aachisuto / Bowzock's best makeup artist) 

On the latest trip to Earth to pick up imo-youkan, Grotch discovers 
that the Imochou store is closed. The owner is getting old and is 
thinking of closing for good. Realizing that their enlarging method 
is in danger, Gynamo calls in PP Chiipuri, who goes to the imo-youkan 
store and applies a special "Youth-Reviving Mask" to the owner, 
turning him young again. Youko has read in her horoscope that today 
at a certain time at a certain street corner, she will meet the man 
of her dreams. She waits eagerly and the time approaches. The Imochou 
owner runs away from Chiipuri, and bangs into Youko just at the time 
the horoscope told. Youko and the Imochou owner go out but Chiipuri 
appears and tries to get him to back with him. The Carrangers arrive 
but the Imochou owner fights off Chiipuri. But his wife, still at her 
true age, appears and asks for him to come back home. Youko realizes 
who it is she has been out with and passes out. Later, the Pegasus 
team talks to the Imochou owner and wife and vows to return things to 
normal. They chase after Chiipuri, who runs past Signalman and pushes 
him aside. Signalman insults Chiipuri and in return, Chiipuri squirts 
his special mask on Signalman, turning him into a child. The 
Carrangers catch up and Pink Racer defeats Chiipuri, who enlarges. 
Zelmoda also appears in the repaired Norishiron 12, and the two 
attack. The Carrangers call their VRV Robo and Signalman tries to 
attack in Sirender but his feet can't reach the pedals. The VRV Robo 
grabs hold of Chiipuri and makes him squirt his youth pack onto 
Norishiron, and the robot changes back into the cardboard sheets it 
came from. Chiipuri is then killed and the Imochou owner returns to 
normal and decides to continue his business. 


PP Chiipuri used a special youth revival pack that could turn people 
young again. He was physically a very weak fighter with little 
offensive weaponry. 

In this episode, an updated and repaired version of Norishiron 12 was
 used, and this version could fire lightning blasts from his horns. 



39. Douro Sukisuki!! Uchuu Petto 

(I Love Roads!! The Space Pet) 

CC (ChamuChamu) Patchoone 

(Boozokku-ichi no choukyoushi / Bowzock's best animal trainer) 

Exhaus prepares to give Gynamo and the Bowzock the last of a species 
of animal called Beager (Biigaa), a white furball with floppy ears 
and a catlike face. The Beagers eat concrete and Exhaus' plan is to 
have the Beager destroy all the roads on Earth since he is jealous of 
the Earth having such nice roads when his "Great Space Highway Plan" 
is being blocked at every turn. The Beager is sent to Earth in a 
cardboard box on a balloon, but it blows away before Grotch can go to 
catch it. Naoki finds it and wants to keep it, since from the time he 
was a child, Naoki has wanted to keep pets. Gynamo wants it back, and 
sends Bowzock's animal trainer CC Patchoone to reclaim it. Naoki 
tries to give the Beager something to eat but nothing seems to work, 
until it eats some concrete. Patchoone appears and captures the 
Beager. He plans to use a special recipe for a potion to make the 
Beager multiply. Naoki goes after him and manages to rescue the 
Beager before the potion can be given to him. Naoki runs away with 
the Beager and manages to avoid Patchoone. He notices that the 
Beager's teeth are chipped and in terrible shape, so he performs a 
dental operation and gives it new teeth. To Naoki's shock, the Beager
 talks to him (it couldn't before because its teeth hurt) and it 
explains that it was Exhaus who wiped out the rest of its kind. 
Patchoone appears, as do the other Carrangers, and the Beager helps 
him fight against Patchoone. After Patchoone is killed, Naoki hugs 
the Beager and proclaims them friends. 

CC Patchoone used a whip to strangle people and shock them with 
energy along it. He could also fire an energy blast from his monocle. 



40. Naniwa Tomoare Sukuranburu Kousa Robo 

(Anyway, Scramble Intersection Robo) 

OO (OroOro) Batton 

The Carrangers answer an alien alarm to find Zelmoda chasing a 
runaway Bowzock to kill him before he reveals the Bowzock secrets. 
The runaway, OO Batton, asks the Carrangers for protection. A fight 
ensues, and Batton protects Green Racer, getting hurt in the process. 
Minoru takes a liking to Batton, treating him to ramen and giving him 
a Tigers (baseball team) headband. Batton tells the Carrangers of a 
Bowzock plan to build a secret base under the city, and gives them 
the location. Green Racer and the others leave to check it out with 
the VRV Robo even though Green Racer is the only one who really 
believes Batton. When they are gone, Batton gets a transmission from 
Zelmoda to proceed with the plan. He shows his true evil self (his 
eyes turn red) and goes to where the Carrangers are. Zelmoda triggers 
a trap, trapping the VRV Robo in chains that shoot up from the 
ground. Batton enlarges himself and attacks, disabling the arms and 
legs of the VRV Robo, then pinning it to a giant cross. Although 
Green Racer tries to get him to remember their friendship, and Batton 
hesitates for a moment, his Bowzock side takes over and he continues 
his attack. The Carrangers try a desperate plan: they call in the Red 
Vehicle (incomplete) 

OO Batton used a staff with a drill on one end and a hammer on the 
other. He could also breathe fire. 


41. Bousou Koutei Senritsu no Nenryou Chekku 

(The Reckless-Running Emperor's Frightful Fuel Check) 

II (IkeIke) Goki-chan, Sukai Gigyuun, Mariin Zabuun 

A large Christmas present addressed to the Carrangers arrives on 
Earth. When the Pegasus team investigates, out pops II Goki-chan, who 
uses his new energy-draining lips to suck out the Carmagic Power from 
the Carrangers. But when Dappu tells them to keep trying, their 
Carmagic Energy floods back into them and they defeat Goki. Exhaus is 
watching and notes the strength of the Carmagic Power. He devises a 
plan, and gives Gynamo 3 giant robots: Sky Gigyoon, Marine Zaboon, 
and Land Zuzoon, to use. Zonnette volunteers to take Sky Gigyoon to 
begin the attack, but actually wants to warn Red Racer. Meanwhile, 
Dappu has been looking forward to a Christmas party with the Pegasus 
team. When they all tell him that they are going away to spend 
Christmas, he is crushed and mad at the Pegasus team. Zonnette in Sky
 Gigyoon drops leaflets over the city as part of her mission. Dappu 
sees them, and they are a notice to anyone from Hazard to meet at a 
certain place. Dappu wants to check if any other Hazard inhabitants 
are still alive, and he goes to check it out. However it is a trap, 
and Dappu is captured by Grotch in Marine Zaboon. The Carrangers 
bring out the VRV Robo to face Sky Gigyoon, but Zonnette asks to meet
 with Red Racer alone. She gives him a notebook with a warning in it,
 but she is pulled back to Sky Gigyoon which attacks on its own. The 
Carrangers fight and beat Sky Gigyoon, and Zonnette ejects and 
returns. Dappu is brought back to the Baribarian where he is 
imprisoned. 

II Goki-chan was equipped this time with giant lips that could drain
 the energy from whoever he kissed. "Ike ike" means "go go" in 
Japanese. 

Sky Gigyoon was a humanoid bird-based robot piloted by Zonnette that 
could fly at high speeds. It could fire an energy blast from its 
mouth and could spin its upper body around while firing, shooting its
 blasts in all directions. 



42. Zensha Ensuto! Kyodai Robo Zettai Zetsumei 

(Engine Stall on All Cars! Desperate Situation for the Giant Robo) 

Mariin Zabuun (Marine Zaboon) 

The Carrangers cannot find Dappu anywhere. Grotch in Marine Zaboon 
launches an attack, but while fighting the VRV Robo's Carmagic Power 
dwindles out and dies. The Carrangers are forced to retreat and they 
try to look for Dappu to explain what happened. They find the flyers 
dropped by Zonnette and meet the VRV Master, who realizes that it was
 a trap. He also explains to them that the Carmagic Power depends on 
the bond between Dappu and the Carrangers. Because Dappu and the 
Carrangers had a fight, the Carmagic Power is weakening. Marine 
Zaboon attacks again and the Carrangers use the RV Robo to try to 
hold him back, while the VRV Master goes to rescue Dappu. The VRV 
Master reaches the Baribarian and attacks with "shura-shu-shu-shu" 
(pogs), which Dappu recognizes as a game he used to play with his 
father. VRV Master frees Dappu and the two escape in a stolen Bowzock 
car. Dappu asks the VRV Master if he is his father, but receives no 
response. A giant Exhaus appears and tries to catch the car. VRV 
Master tells Dappu to return to Earth, and then launches himelf in an 
attack against Exhaus. Exhaus is wounded enough for Dappu to return. 
The Carrangers, battling Marine Zaboon, are running dangerously low 
on power. Marine Zaboon was a humanoid shark-based robot piloted by 
Grotch whose specialty was fighting underwater. It could fire off the
 fin on its head as a boomerang, and could shoot blasts of energy 
from its mouth. On one hand it had a drill and on the other was a 
torpedo battery. It also used an anchor on a chain as a weapon. 




43. Merii Kurumajikku Kurisumasu! 

(Merry Carmagic Christmas!) 

Sukai Gigyuun (Sky Gigyoon), Mariin Zabuun, Rando Zuzuun (Land Zuzoon) 

Dappu returns to Earth and the RV Robo gains its power back, and is 
able to defeat Marine Zaboon. Dappu meets the Pegasus team and they 
apologize to him for forgetting about what he wanted for Christmas. 
The VRV Master appears and congratulates Dappu, but then grabs his 
arm. Land Zuzoon appears, along with the other 2 robots who have been 
revived. The VRV Master is actually Zelmoda in disguise, and he 
transports Dappu into the chest cavity of Land Zuzoon, where there 
are chains to hold him prisoner and to siphon off his Carmagic Power,
 turning it into Evilmagic Power ("Akumajikku Pawaa") to be used by 
the 3 robots. The Carrangers, along with Signalman, fight and realize
 that they have to free Dappu somehow. The Carrangers tell Dappu that
 they want to have Christmas with him because they love him. Dappu is
 overjoyed, and sends so much poewr into the 3 evil robots that they 
overload. The Carrangers destroy Sky Gigyoon and Marine Zaboon. Red 
Racer goes into the RV Robo while the VRV Robo performs the Victory 
Twister. The RV Robo uses its Gekisou Sword to cut the energy barrage
 in half so that it hits above and below the cavity where Dappu is in
 Land Zuzoon, allowing him to escape unharmed. Dappu flies out of 
Land Zuzoon as it explodes. The Carrangers and Dappu spend Christmas 
together, but a mysterious present catches Naoki's eye. It is a case 
of coffee milk from the VRV Master. 

Land Zuzoon was a humanoid lion-based robot piloted by Gynamo. It had
 three long claws on its wrists, the "Bousou Claw" ("Reckless Dash 
Claw") and could fire a tractor beam from its chest to imprison Dappu 
within it to absorb his Carmagic Power. 



44. Fukutsu no Chikichiki Gekisou Cheisu! 

(The Unstoppable ???? Violent Dashing Chase!) 

MM (MechaMecha) Shuurisukii 

(Boozokku-ichi no mekanikku / Bowzock's best mechanic) 

The Bowzock vehicles are all in the repair shop from their constant 
beatings. Exhaus tells Gynamo of a legendary wrench that can fix any 
vehicle instantly, and that it is said to be somewhere on Earth. 
Gynamo calls in MM Shuurisukii to go and get it. Meanwhile, on Earth 
Signalman's car has broken down as the Pegasus team is passing by. 
Natsumi fixes it in a matter of seconds with her special wrench, 
given to her by the owner of a garage she went to when she was a 
little girl. A flash of light knocks Natsumi down and she realizes 
her wrench is gone. In a black car that looks remarkably like the 
Batmobile, Shuurisukii congratulates himself on getting the legendary
 wrench, and changes it into an evil giant form. The Carrangers are 
soon in pursuit, but with the wrench Shuurisukii can add any 
attachments he wants onto his car, including a sawblade launcher and 
a missile launcher. The attack damages the Dragon Cruiser, and the 
Pegasus Thunder is soon cornered by Shuurisukii's car and one of the 
few Bowzock vehicles to get fixed, driven by Zelmoda. They are saved 
by Signalman, with his visiting wife and son in his car and disable 
Zelmoda's vehicle, but Shuurisukii blasts Sigalman's car and it 
crashes. Meanwhile, Natsumi is doubting whether she can fix the 
Dragon Cruiser without her special wrench. She remembers the garage 
owner who gave her the wrench telling her that she has to learn the 
feelings of machines in order to fix them properly. At first she 
gives up, not believing in her own abilities, but the Dragon Cruiser 
starts to try to move by itself, struggling to help its friend, the 
Pegasus Thunder. This makes Natsumi realize that she has to try to 
fix it. She succeeds, and drives the repaired Dragon Cruiser to a 
confrontation with Shuurisukii. She drives alongside his car and 
leaps on board, wrestling the wrench away from him. Out of evil 
hands, it changes back to its normal form, andYellow Racer blasts 
Shuurisukii. He enlarges with imo-youkan and attacks with a pair of 
wrenches but is destroyed by the VRV Robo's Victory Twister. 

MM Shuurisukii used the legendary wrench to make all kinds of add-on 
repairs to his car. These included an exhaust gas nozzle ("Mouretsu 
Haiki Gasu" -- Violent Exhaust Gas") , a missile launcher, a bazooka,
 and a sawblade launcher ("Kaiten Nokonoko Midare-Uchi" -- "Spinning 
Sawblade Chaotic Strike"). He also used wrenches as weapons. 

"Shuuri suki" means "I like repairing". 



45. Honto no Koi no Shuppatsuten 

(The Starting Point of True Love) 

EE (EnEn) Musubinofu 

(Boozokku-ichi no enmusubi no tatsujin / Bowzock's best marriage master) 

Gynamo seems to have lost his will to fight, so Zelmoda decides that 
if he gets married to his beloved Zonnette, he will be filled with 
enthusiasm again. He enlists the aid of EE Musubinofu to get them 
married. On Earth, Kyousuke has a dream about Zonnette and decides to 
confess his love to her once and for all. While out in a store 
checking his horoscope, Zonnette runs past in a wedding dress. 
Kyousuke chases her and finds her pursued by Musubinofu, who intends 
to take her back as Gynamo's bride. Musubinofu tries to use his Hore-
Hore Arrows to make her fall in love with Gynamo, but Kyousuke 
protects her. He reveals to her that he is actually Red Racer and she 
can't believe it. The other Carrangers come and they fight off 
Musubinofu. Zonnette is later walking on a beach by herself when 
Musubinofu appears again and tries once again to kidnap her. But 
Kyousuke again intervenes and vows to protect Zonnette. He begins to 
fight Musubinofu and is getting badly beaten, so Zonnette tells him 
to hurry up and change into Red Racer. Kyousuke responds that he will 
protect her as Jinnai Kyousuke to show her his love. Musubinofu wraps 
himself around Zonnette and controls her, trying to make her stab 
Kyousuke with a sword. Kyousuke grabs the sword (with his bare hands) 
and attacks Musubinofu, forcing him off Zonnette and stabbing him 
with it. Musubinofu enlarges and the other Carrangers beat him with 
the VRV Robo. Rajietta appears and asks Zonnette to come back home to 
the planet Fanbelt because they need her there. Zonnette reveals that 
she is actually a princess of her planet, and that her real name is 
"Vanity Mirror Fanbelt". Her clothes change into a white dress and 
she thanks Kyousuke for all he did. She leaves with Rajietta but 
promises to come back to Kyousuke soon. 

EE Musubinofu used special "Hore-Hore Arrows" (Love-Love Arrows) with 
a slot to place someone's picture in. Whoever or whatever was struck 
by an arrow fell in love with whoever's picture was in the arrow. He 
also could bind people with his "Guru-Guru Mizuhiki" (Spinning 
String) and fired a cloud of explosive confetti, the "Kira-Kira Kami 
Fubuki" (Sparkling Paper Blizzard"). His ultimate attack was the 
"Ninin-Baori Kougeki" ("Two-Person Coat Attack"), in which he wrapped 
himself around someone and could control them to do whatever he 
wanted. He could also fire blasts of energy from his eyes. 

"Enmusubi" is another word for "marriage".

Norishiron Fainaru (Norishiron Final) 

Norishiron Final was a black version of Norishiron 12, with the kanji 
characters for "Final" ("Saigo") on his chest instead of the number 
12. Norishiron Final could use several attacks, including the "Final 
Typhoon", a gust of powerful air from its mouth; the "Final Kick", a 
jumping kick; the "Final Flash", a flash of energy from its eyes; and 
the "Final Twister", a copy of the Victory Twister in which 
Norishiron used two large guns to attack.

48. Itsu Made mo Koutsuu Anzen!! 

(No Matter How Long, Traffic Safety!!) 

Egusosu Suupaa Sutorongu (Exhaus Super Strong) 

Exhaus Super Strong was just about invincible, able to regenerate 
himself from almost any attack and tremendously powerful, able to 
fire blasts of evil lightning-like energy from his mouth, throw a 
ball of energy, change his right arm into a sword, fire cables from 
his shoulders through which he could transmit evil energy, reflect 
back the Victory Twister, and regnerate himself after taking damage. 
It took some expired imo-youkan to make him lose power and shrink so 
that the Carrangers could finally kill him with the Carranger 
Carmagic Attack.
