But, Zordon and Alpha learn about the danger and recruit a team of teenagers with attitude -- the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers! #2- HIGH FIVE (August 30, 1993) Written by Steve Kramer Directed by Adrian Carr As the kids climb to the top of the rope, Trini confronts an old fear of heights. Meanwhile, Rita unleashes a new plot against the Power Rangers. She creates Bones and sends our heroes to another dimension. Will Trini overcome her fear of heights to save a friend? Will the Power Rangers foil Rita's plan? #3- TEAMWORK (September 1, 1993) Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by Robert Hughes The girls lead a drive to clean up the environment, but Rita has other plans when Kimberly and Trini walk into her waste dump. But, Goldar has a plan to separate Jason from the others. Rita sends down the powerful King Sphinx to squash Jason. Can Jason take on King Sphinx by himself? #5- DIFFERENT DRUM (September 3, 1993) Written by Julianne Klemm Directed by Jeff Reiner Kimberly's student lives in a silent world of the hearing impaired but that doesn't stop her from saving her friends from Rita's Gnarly Gnome. Once the Power Rangers hear his magic tune, they'll be totally in his power. Meanwhile, Rita hatches a new scheme and sends the Chunky Chicken down to Earth and a herd of putties to kidnap Maria. Deckman & Ronnie Sperling and Stewart St. John Directed by Robert Hughes It's Hobby Week at Angel Grove High and Trini shows the class her doll collection, including her favorite of them all, Mr. Ticklesneezer. But, Rita has plans for Mr. Ticklesneezer, whose specialty is collecting. Will Ticklesneezer capture the Power Rangers in his Goody Bottle? #9- HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ZACK (September 16, 1993) Written by Stewart St. John Directed by Jeff Reiner The kids decide to throw Zack a surprise birthday party but their secrecy leaves Zack feeling forgotten. Rita also has a birthday surprise planned for Zack: the Knasty Knight. Can the Power Rangers fight off the Knasty Knight? #10- NO CLOWNING AROUND (September 17, 1993) Written by Mark Hoffmeier Directed by Adrian Carr Trini takes her cousin Sylvia for a fun day with her friends at the carnival. But the fun and frolic soon turns to chaos, when we find out the fair is one of Rita's traps! Rita also creates the Pineoctopus. Will the Power Rangers overcome the Pineoctopus? #11- POWER RANGER PUNKS (September 20, 1993) Written by Mark Hoffmeier Directed by David Blyth Baboo slips Billy and Kimberly a magic potion that turns them into bullies. Meanwhile, Rita sends the Terror Toad down to swallow our heroes and take over the world. Whenever he swallows one of the Rangers his power grows and he's hungry! Will Billy and Kimberly return to normal in time to keep the Power Rangers from becoming Terror Toad's next snack? #12- PEACE, LOVE, AND WOE (September 21, 1993) Written by Julianne Klemm Directed by Robert Hughes Billy meets Marge and it's a match made in Heaven. Rita plans to trap the Power Rangers in another dimension with the wicked Madame Woe, whose crowned jewel gives her the power to send the Rangers to another dimension. Will the Power Rangers escape this miraculous maven of malevolence? #13- FOUL PLAY IN THE SKY (September 22, 1993) Written and Directed by Shuki Levy Kim goes flying with her Uncle Steve but Rita tries to sabotage the trip. She also sends the slimy Snizard to challenge the other Rangers. Will Kimberly land the plane in time to save her friends? #14- DARK WARRIOR [ORIG. NINJA! IMPOSSIBLE] (September 28, 1993) Written by Jeff Deckman & Ronnie Sperling and Mark Hoffmeier Directed by Terry Winkless Trini's Uncle Howard comes to help Billy sharpen his mind and body with ancient martial art skills. Meanwhile, Rita sends the devious Dark Warrior to carry out a new plan. Can the Power Rangers stop the Dark Warrior? #15- I, EYE GUY (October 1, 1993) Written by Stewart St. John Directed by David Blyth Rita Repulsa wants to use the intelligence of Billy's brilliant friend Willie and she sends the evil Eye Guy to do the job. Meanwhile, Jason faces the challenge of his life. To make matters worse, Rita calls forth Scorpina to wreak havoc on our heroes. Do the Power Rangers have what it takes to win? #21- GREEN WITH EVIL PART V [BREAKING THE SPELL] (October 8, 1993) Written by Gary Glasberg & Stewart St. John Directed by Robert Hughes Previously, Rita's plan to place Tommy under an evil spell put Jason through a tense ordeal and leaves our heroes without Zordon or their zords. The Power Rangers all but give up as they discover who Green Ranger really is. Meanwhile, Squatt and Baboo create a monster all their own. Will Shellshock shake up our heroes? #23- ITSY BITSY SPIDER (October 12, 1993) Written by Steve Kramer Directed by Robert Hughes The kids lead a drive to save a statue. But, the statue becomes a part of Rita's latest scheme. Will the Power Rangers save the statue and the world? #24- THE SPIT FLOWER (October 19, 1993) Written by Peggy Nicoll Directed by David Blyth Kimberly is working on a special project: designing a float for a parade. But, Rita doesn't take kindly to Kimberly's humor and decides to do something about it by sending putties to destroy the model, much to Kimberly's displeasure. Rita then sends down the Spit Flower to terrorize the town. Can Rita's blossoming evil be stopped? #25- GUNG HO! (October 25, 1993) Written by Mark Hoffmeier Directed by Robert Hughes Jason and Tommy are getting ready for the Teen Ninja Finals, only their teamwork isn't quite what it should be. Meanwhile, Rita is busy making an army of indestructible super putties to attack the earth. Zordon must send Jason and Tommy on a quest to get special weapons to defeat the putties. But, they encounter Titanus, the zord carrier and protector of the weapons. Can Jason and Tommy pull themselves together and capture the weapons? Will Rita's super putties spell the end for our heroes? #26- LIFE'S A MASQUERADE (October 30, 1993) Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by Robert Hughes The gang plans to attend a costume party. Even Bulk and Skull get into the spirit. But, when Rita's Frankenstein monster crashes the party, the Power Rangers must swing into action. Will the Power Rangers stand a chance against this green terror? #27- WHEEL OF MISFORTUNE (November 1, 1993) Written by Mark Ryan & Cheryl Saban Directed by Terence H. Winkless It's showtime at Angel Grove High when Kimberly gets the lead in Rumpelstiltskin. But, Rita takes Kimberly's spinning wheel and turns it into the Wheel of Destruction, a magic wheel that can destroy anything it touches, including the Power Rangers. Are the Power Rangers facing a force they can't defeat? #28- ISLAND OF ILLUSION PART I (November 2, 1993) Written by Chris Schoon & Shuki Levy Directed by Terence H. Winkless Zack is anxious about his upcoming dance contest but Zack's self-doubts are just what Rita's waiting for. She calls on Mutaytus and Locar, the ultimate evil, to take on the Rangers. Will Rita finally succeed in eliminating our heroes? #29- ISLAND OF ILLUSION PART II (November 3, 1993) Written by Stewart St. John, Chris Schoon & Shuki Levy Directed by Terence H. Winkless Previously, Zack was feeling a little anxious about his upcoming dance contest. Meanwhile, Rita took advantage of Zack's doubts and called on the ultimate of evil, Locar and Mutaytus and sent our heroes to her Island of Illusion, where they learn that their communicators and Power Morphers are gone. Can our heroes escape this evil place? #30- THE ROCKSTAR (November 4, 1993) Written by Peggy Nicoll Directed by Terence H. Winkless Jason and his cousin Jeremy find a secret map. Rita sends the unscrupulous Scorpina to get the map and find the Mirror of Destruction. Will the Power Rangers turn Scorpina's rock monster into pebbles? #31- CALAMITY KIMBERLY (November 5, 1993) Written by Tom Wyner & Julianne Klemm Directed by Terence H. Winkless Kimberly wakes up on the wrong side of the bed and the day goes from bad to worse. Meanwhile, Rita sends the sinister Samurai Fan Man to trap Kimberly in another dimension. Will the Power Rangers free Kimberly from the Samurai Fan Man's jar? #32- A STAR IS BORN (November 15, 1993) Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by Terence H. Winkless Tommy decides to try out for a television commercial. Meanwhile, the other Rangers head for the beach. But, their day of fun turns into terror when Scorpina crashes the party. Can our heroes escape Scorpina's trap before they drift away forever? #33- THE YOLK'S ON YOU! (November 16, 1993) Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by Terence H. Winkless The Rangers gather to rehearse for a talent contest. Meanwhile, Squatt and Baboo send the ferocious Fang after our heroes while the putties keep Tommy tied up. Do the Power Rangers have enough talent to defeat the toothy menace? #34- THE GREEN CANDLE PART I (November 17, 1993) Written by Mark McKain & Stewart St. John Directed by Robert Hughes Tommy is in danger as Rita devises a spell to steal his morphin powers. When a green candle formed from magic wax burns down, it will steal the Green Ranger's powers. Tommy is taken to Rita's Dark Dimension, where he faces the fight of his life. The only way he can keep his powers is if he serves Rita. Is time running out for the Green Ranger? #35- THE GREEN CANDLE PART II (November 18, 1993) Written by Gary Glasberg & Stewart St. John Directed by Robert Hughes. Last time, Rita devised a plot to take over Green Ranger's powers. When a green candle formed from magic wax burns down, it will steal the Green Ranger's powers. They kept Tommy in Rita's Dark Dimension and he fought Goldar to save his powers. He escaped and the Rangers must now find a way to stop the Green Candle from going out. Can they do it? #36- BIRDS OF A FEATHER (November 19, 1993) Written by Julianne Klemm Directed by Robert Hughes Zack prepares his young student for an up and coming martial arts tournament but Rita pulls Zack away when she releases the Hatchosaurus on the unsuspecting city. Can the Power Rangers save the Earth from Rita's latest monstrous scheme? #37- CLEAN-UP CLUB (November 20, 1993) Written by Mark Hoffmeier Directed by Terence H. Winkless The kids decide to put together a club to clean up Angel Grove. But, Rita plots a pollution scheme and sends the Polluticorn to do the job. Can the Power Rangers recycle the monster before he turns Angel Grove into a landfill? #38- DOOMSDAY PART I (November 22, 1993) Written by Stewart St. John Directed by Terence H. Winkless The city plans a special day to honor our heroes but the celebration is short-libbed as Rita sends the townspeople to another dimension and sends Cyclopsis to destroy the Rangers. Have our Rangers reached the end of their rope? #39- DOOMSDAY PART II (November 23, 1993) Written by Stewart St. John Directed by Terence H. Winkless Previously, while Angel Grove planned to honor our heroes, Rita trapped the townspeople in another dimension and left the Rangers reeling. The Rangers must morph into action and battle Goldar as he pilots Cyclopsis, the evil war zord. Do the Rangers have what it takes to win? #40- A BAD REFLECTION ON YOU (November 24, 1993) Written by Peggy Nicoll Directed by Robert Hughes Rita sinks to a new low as she sends Power Ranger impostors to make the Rangers look bad and wind them up in detention. With our heroes in school, their doubles are free to wreak havoc. Will this double trouble turn the town against our heroes? #41- A PIG SURPRISE (February 8, 1994) Written by Shuki Levy & Douglas Sloan Directed by Robert Hughes Our heroes spearhead a drive to find homes for stray animals, including an old lady's pig named Norman. But, Norman is no ordinary pig. At Rita's command, he transforms into the infamous Pudgy Pig. Can the Rangers once again stop this porker before it's too late? #42- SOMETHING FISHY (February 9, 1994) Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by Robert Hughes A nice picnic and an afternoon of scuba diving turn fishy when Rita sends down the treacherous Goo Fish. Rita then puts a spell on Billy that plays on his worst fears. Can the Rangers overcome the Goo Fish and his venomous spray? #43- LIONS & BLIZZARDS (February 10, 1994) Written by Shell Danielson Directed by Robert Hughes The Rangers and their friends win the grand prize at the annual Oddball Games: the Noble Lion Trophy. Rita and Goldar plot to transform the trophy into a ferocious monster. Can the Rangers withstand this weather- controlling lamb in lion's clothing? #44- RITA'S SEED OF EVIL (February 15, 1994) Written by Stewart St. John Directed by Robert Hughes For a school project, the Rangers spend the afternoon planting trees in the park. But, Rita has some seeds of her own and sends Squatt down to plant her latest monster, the Octoplant. Can the Rangers rid the world of this wily weed? #45- TO FLEA OR NOT TO FLEE (February 16, 1994) Written by Douglas Sloan Directed by Terence H. Winkless The Juice Bar is in trouble and the kids rally to help their friend. Meanwhile, Rita makes a fearce-fighting flea monster and plants it on a lost dog. Can the Power Rangers destroy the fearce-fighting flea and save the world from eternal itching? #46- REIGN OF THE JELLYFISH (February 17, 1994) Written by Stewart St. John Directed by Terence H. Winkless The kids of Angel Grove High prepare a time capsule for future citizens. But, Squatt and Baboo try and steal the capsule for Rita. Rita sends the Jellyfish to challenge our heroes. Can the Power Rangers defeat the terrifying Jellyfish and save the world from destruction? #47- CRYSTAL OF NIGHTMARES (February 21, 1994) Written by Shuki Levy & Douglas Sloan Directed by Jerry Jacobs The kids head to the mountains for a weekend of studying. Meanwhile, Goldar tries to sabotage the kids by turning their dreams into nightmares. Can the Power Rangers overcome the forces of the Crystal of Nightmares and regain their confidence and powers? #48- PLAGUE OF THE MANTIS (February 24, 1994) Written by Mark Hoffmeier Directed by Terence H. Winkless Trini is learning a new style of Kong Fu. Meanwhile, Rita sends down the Mighty Mantis Monster to challenge Trini's new skills. Can Trini and the Rangers foil Rita's deceitful monster? #49- RETURN OF AN OLD FRIEND PART I (February 28, 1994) Written by Shell Danielson Directed by Worth Keeter It's Parents Day at Angel Grove Youth Center and Rita hatches a plot to kidnap the Rangers' parents with her terrible Drammole monster. They distract the Power Rangers so that the Drammole monster can hypnotize their parents and kidnap them. Can the Rangers find a way to foil Rita's family fiendishness? #50- RETURN OF AN OLD FRIEND PART II (March 1, 1994) Written by Shell Danielson Directed by Worth Keeter Previously, Parents Day at Angel Grove is interrupted by Rita's terrible Drammole monster, who kidnaps the parents and puts Billy under an evil spell. Billy gives the Dragon Dagger to Goldar, who makes the Rangers choose between their parents and their Power Coins. Now, only one coin remains. Can Tommy regain his powers and defeat Goldar? #51- GRUMBLE BEE (April 28, 1994) Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by John Stewart Billy is shocked when he gets his first B ever. This gives Rita an idea: she sends putties to trap some of the Rangers, leaving Billy and Trini to fight the ominous Grumble Bee. Will the others get free in time to battle the Grumble Bee? #52- TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE (April 29, 1994) Written by Mark Hoffmeier Directed by John Stewart Jason and Tommy volunteer to teach the moms of Angel Grove self- defense. "Teamwork can be one of your best weapons against an opponent," Jason tells them. "Remember, ladies. Two heads are better than one," Tommy says. Rita decides that two heads are exactly what her next monster needs and she creates a two-headed parrot to take on the Rangers. Will teamwork be enough to stop this molting menace? #53- FOWL PLAY (May 2, 1994) Written by Peggy Nicoll Directed by John Stewart Zack helps out by teaching magic to some day camp kids which works a bit of magic on Angela. But, Rita makes magic of her own and creates the Peckster to terrorize the city. Can the Rangers overcome Rita's sorcery and bring the Peckster down? #54- TRICK OR TREAT (May 3, 1994) Written by Danny Sarnoff and Ellen Sarnoff Directed by Worth Keeter Kimberly is chosen to compete against Skull on the hottest TV game show in Angel Grove. Things go well for Kimberly until Rita starts a new offensive and the Rangers are called into action. This time they face the Pumpkin Rapper, a hip-hoppin' terror who takes our heroes to the end of their rope. Can the Rangers overcome this poetic pumpkin? #55- SECOND CHANCE (May 4, 1994) Written by Mark Litton Directed by Worth Keeter Jason and Zack offer to help a young friend make Ernie's soccer team. But, Rita has games of her own to play and sends down the Socadillo to roll over the Rangers. Can our heroes overcome the routy rodent and score a winning goal? #56- ON FINS AND NEEDLES (May 5, 1994) Written by Douglas Sloan Directed by Worth Keeter Jason and Tommy volunteer to teach kids the value of teamwork and martial arts. But, their teamwork is undermined as Rita casts a spell that turns the heroes against each other. Rita sends down the Slippery Shark to split the Rangers for good. Can our heroes overcome the spell and send the Slippery Shark back to the sea? #57- ENTER...THE LIZZINATOR (May 6, 1994) Written by Stewart St. John Directed by Worth Keeter Kimberly helps a young friend named Kelly try to make the junior high cheerleading squad. But, Rita plans to use Kelly to lure the Rangers into a battle with the Lizzinator. Do our heroes have what it takes to beat the Lizzinator and save Kelly? #58- FOOTBALL SEASON (May 9, 1994) Written by Cheryl Saban Directed by Terence H. Winkless It's time for football tryouts at Angel Grove High but Tommy is having a hard time. Rita decides to field her own team and sends down the Rhino Blaster to lead the putties in a grid-iron battle. Will the Power Rangers sack the Rhino Blaster and send him out of bounds and out for the season? #59- MIGHTY MORPHIN' MUTANTS (May 16, 1994) Written by Douglas Sloan Directed by Terence H. Winkless Ms. Appleby gives the class a special assignment: she wants the students to ask their friends to chose something about them that needs a little work. But, Tommy has a hard time with it. Meanwhile, Rita sends down the Mutant Rangers to make the real Rangers' day memorable. Will our heroes overcome the Mutant Rangers and save Angel Grove? #60- AN OYSTER STEW (May 23, 1994) Written by Shell Danielson Directed by Terence H. Winkless Zack's in love and plans a big date in order to impress Angela. But, Rita plans to spoil Zack's romance and calls for the dangerous Ecocide Pearl and a monster called the Oysterizer. Can our heroes overcome the Oysterizer and save the Seven Seas?
