1.0 Introduction to the Document

Until February 21st, 1994 when the Power Rangers made their first public appearance, no one, not even their producers or the Fox Children's Network, recognized the popularity of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers when on that day, the original cast came to Universal Studios Hollywood in Southern California and caused a record attendance of nearly 30,000 that also caused a traffic-jam on the 101 Hollywood Freeway.

This morphenominon has built up into a one-billion dollar toy empire that Bandai has been licensed to and international broadcasts that now have taken over from where ``Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'' has unofficially left off.

And as events in real life occur they naturally mirror on the Internet, as it is a huge give-and-take network of people from all walks of life. So, there is on the Internet several World Wide Web Power Rangers sites, including the one where this FAQ is being distributed. Also, on the USENET, there is a power rangers newsgroup--however, beware, since that is a _public_ forum, unwanted persons will make their presence more than known (more than likely by insulting fans). Subsequently, there was an E-Mail mailing list created for those whom want a private area to discuss "Power Rangers"; currently, there are over 60 members. Further information regarding network resources are available in section 11.5 for Internet Resources.

This document has been written by Artist Bros. Enterprises (Editor In Chief: Dairenn Lombard) for the sole benefit of anyone with interest to understand everything you wanted to know, and more, about Power Rangers; even if you're just a parent who wants to understand your child when he or she starts rambling about MegaZords and Green Candles when you have only seen the show every now and then.

If you have more information, E-Mail Dairenn Lombard and tell all you know; be sure to include your source (note, if it is an anonymous source from the production staff, it shall be documented as such, however, will not be labeled strictly official).
