The music producer, Ron Wasserman (a.k.a. Aaron Waters, a.k.a. The Mighty RAW), began writing real songs to the battle sequences starting with the episode "Crystal Of Nightmares" in which the song "Fight" was mixed. Evidently, this song was longer than the album version.
The music was recorded at RAW's home and was taken to Saban for final production where they were stored as numbered musical cues in the music library (with 818 of them making up more than 5,000 minutes of music). The music editor writes out a log of songs edited into each episode and mixes parts of music to match each scene.
For information on who is in charge of the music production, see sections 9.1 and 9.3 for more information.

The musical mastermind behind the rock sound of Power Rangers is Ron Aaron Wasserman (a.k.a. Aaron Waters); who has created some of the best battle sequence instrumentals since the third season of "The Transformers" (produced by Hasbro/Sunbow). He is listed as writer/composer/engineer/musician/producer for all the music heard in Power Rangers as well as for Saban's VR Troopers. Unfortunately, On September 1st, 1995, Wasserman left Saban Entertainment for other projects; primarily due to the fact of poor business practices on the part of Saban Entertainment.
Born on September 2nd, 1961, Wasserman grew up in Los Angeles and started playing the piano when he was three and by five and a half, he had his first published work. It wasn't until 16 years later that he actually started getting into the business successfully.
Majoring in photography, Wasserman traveled back to California to be a photographer, however, was not too successfull and went on to do music. He became the muscian for Power Rangers by engineering for Saban Entertainment in 1990 and when Power Rangers was new, he worked 70 hours a week to create their some 818 cues and 23 songs for their show. This enabled him to assemble his own home studio.
In 1989, Ron was the Keyboard Player for E.G. Daily (Drummer: Matt Sorum [for Guns & Roses], Bassist: Matt Bissonette [for David Lee Roth] and Guitar: Randy Carlie [for Donna Summer]).
In 1994, Jon Anderson (of YES) released his solo album's "Deseo" & "The Power Of Silence" with Ron as the Co-Producer and Co-Engineer. Ron is also going to be working with Yes on another album.
And in 1995, he did the music for the CD-ROM by 7th Level entitled "Battle Beast" with Scott Page and Bob Eserin of Pink Floyd.
Countless instrumenal musical scores and cues have been recorded by The Mighty RAW, however the following are whole songs and/or have lyrics to them (bold indicates album music):
Some of the above songs can be heard on Saban's Cool Kids Records' album: Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Album: A Rock Adventure. See the next section for more details.
--> Important Album information regarding The Mighty RAW
The only other musician for Power Rangers which is now the current composer for the show is Jeremy Sweet who produced a large majority of songs for VR Troopers such as "Who's a V.R. Trooper," "Scugs," and the better "We Are VR Troopers Three". And for Power Rangers, "Hey, Rita" which was originally heard in "Rita's Seed of Evil"

I was wrong to play the fool I went out of my way Tryin' to be too cool hopin' that you'll stay But now I know I did my best whenever I am me So be yourself, and give me a smile...The music for this was composed by Ron Wasserman and sung by Walter Jones. According to Ron, it took approximately five hours to properly engineer his voice before the recording can be made; ironically, Walter Jones is interested in a singing career.
Down the road, we never know What life may have in store Winds of change, will rearrange Our lives more than before But you'll never stand alone, my friend Memories never die In our hearts, they'll always build And never say goodbyeThe above music was composed and written by Shuki Levy and Amy Jo Johnson who also played live during the taping of that episode.
