If they can get putties to capture the rangers so easily that way, why don't they just do it every time? A: There's one thing you're forgetting: Zedd does not think up the story- -the writer does! If the writer wants something or someone to get captured, he or she might choose the putties to do the job. But, if the writer wants a whole different story, he or she will not use this. So, in other words, it's in the writer's hands. This is also why Zedd hasn't revealed the Rangers' identities. First of all, it wouldn't change much. Second of all, it's not something that should be done. Does this make sense? Hee hee... Q: At the end of each newsletter you say a weird name? What do they mean? Where do you get them? A: Here's all that I'm going to say: an aardvark is a South African Mammal, a cocomistle is a racoon relative, a klipspringer is an African antelope, a noseeum (Not nose-um) is a biting gnat, a quetzal is a Central American bird, a skink is a type of lizard, a tuatara is a type of reptile, and a vinegaroon is a harmless scorpion. Q: I was a little confused by the episode guide. You've got 60 episodes listed for the first season, but only 52 listed for the second (that totals 112). Then, in this last newsletter, you said "113 episodes have aired." Huh? A: Oops...when I first added it up, I counted "Alpha's Magical Christmas". Hee hee...there's only 112! Q: Masked Rider...have you heard of it? I just saw a commercial for it, is it a Saban project? It looks sorta Sabanish. Last week, I worked on a shoot for a commercial (actually, I series of commercials) for University of North Texas, where, if I rememebr right, is where JYB and KAJ went to college. I met several RTVF students there, which is supposedly the department they were in. I tried to look up the names in an old copy of a student directory, but no luck. And here's some really cool news... I just found out that my best friend's friend, this guy named Russell, was college roommates with... ZORDON! Yes, the guy who plays Zordon on the TV show went to college in Texas, where he roomed with Russell. Russell says he remembers two years ago when his rommate (just then out of college -- Zordon is younger than he looks!) got the job with Saban. He said, "I just got a job playing a head inside a glass tube! It's a really bad show, but I guess it'll pay the bills." I bet he's eating his words now! It reportedly received go-ahead to make cuts from producers Saban Entertainment. I taped one of these things but I erased it... anyway back to YTV, they say that MMPR is too violent! Well, you know what other saban show they air? Syber Squad! Gee, and I guess that is one of the most educational, goody goody, non-violent shows on tv! There used to be power rangers three times a day last summer, but now only Fox Buffalo airs it!
