Why didn't they just wait until they had enough episodes filmed so that they could play the whole season? Is it because they wanted to drag out Kim's departure as long as possible? They *did* film enough episodes to play six times a week -- but, then the third season would end before November is over. Since they only have about 60 episodes to spread out for 9 or 10 months, they need to use as little as possible (One a week). Usually, in the middle of December, there won't be a new episode until February, which means December and January are all repeats. Oh, and no -- Kim has _nothing_ to do with this. Q "I just started watching Power Rangers and would like to know if the "Green With Evil" miniseries has the three original Rangers or the new ones. I was thinking about buying the tapes, but I want to find out which Red, Black, and Yellow Rangers are in them. I personally prefer the new ones and I was hoping they were in it." --Wonderfan. A I've got some good news and some bad news: The bad news is it has Jason, Trini, and Zack rather than Rocky, Aisha and Adam. They were episodes 17-21 (Tommy wasn't even a Ranger back then!) and they weren't introduced until episode 82 so it has the original Rangers. The good news is this is, according to the majority of the MMPR fans reading this, the best episode/miniseries ever. It got most of the people who are reading this right now, including me, into the show. The only problem is we had to wait 24 hours to see what would happen next and if you buy the videos, you can just pop the next one in so it won't be the same. But, it's still worth buying if you really want to see some good MMPR. Actually, I think you can rent it at your local video store. Why not do that? ;-) Q "I have another question for you. The titling people added the words "Lord" and "Power; Power"] but IDOAWR will air *later on* and was released on home video early. I have a question for you: Since the titles are wrong on LZW/ZW and WIARNAR/WIAPRNAPR, does the WIAPRNAPR video show a big white "When Is A Power Ranger..." title or the regular "When Is A Ranger..." title. All of the new videos seem to be exactly like the show except the theme is different and the title is different [But, the writer/director is still the same font]. HERE'S A QUESTION FOR YOU: Q "When they morph out Billy says "Triceratops" and then the Yellow Ranger says "Saber-toothed tiger!" Yet, when they call on their weapons, the Yellow Ranger says "Power Daggers" BEFORE Billy says "Saber-toothed tiger!" and everyone else keeps the same order. Today's quotes are: Last week's first quote was "...I can get Kimberly's hat!" It was said by Skull in "The Wedding Part I". I just heard it the last time it aired. The Rangers were walking up the street and Skull picked up a boomerang or something and was about to throw it at Kimberly's head while saying "Bethca I can get Kimberly's hat!" but Bulk stopped him before he did anything. BTW, someone [was it you, Aharhel?] pointed out that Aisha was wearing the same hat at the bus stop and then Kim was wearing it in Australia. Weird... Sbolton's friend Matt H. got this right, but it doesn't count because they got another quote right . . . The second quote was "#!@%" and it was simple for those who watch the "blooperish credits". It was indeed one of the people BEHIND the scenes, on the closing credits to "Stop The Hate Master Part II". (Wasn't Part I when the guy who played Rito kept knocking over stuff and exiting the wrong way and leaving stuff that he was supposed to take?) Skull said, "You shovin' my moustache up my nose?" and Bulk said, "Yeah!" Then, they started laughing and the dude behind the camera (Not neccisarily the cameraman) cussed twice and it was edited out. Weird thing was no one seemed surprised by it. So, that's what goes on behind the scenes! Tsk tsk... XSENTAIX got this right first and then KibaRanger. The 10th quote was "Spaghetti and meatballs!" It was said by Bulk as Skull and Skull as Bulk in "Switching Places". RITA REPULSA In appoximately 10,007 B.C., a 2,000 year battle contended between the forces of good and evil, until Rita trapped Zordon in an interdimensional time warp through a false truce. As a last-ditch effort, Zordon concentrated his powers into a powerful dumpster-bin that sucked Rita and her chief fighting force into it which crashed on the dark side of the moon which remained there until an unauthorized shuttle(!?) mission to the moon resulted in two astronauts accidentally releasing her and her vengeful ways on the earth until Zordon discovered this. Rita Repulsa is in the "Americanized" version of Bandra [pronounced: Bandora] which originated from the Japanese sentai television series known as "ZyuRanger" (pronounced: Joo Ranger) which means Beast Ranger. Local rumors that shortly died out that the original actress has passed away. This, however, is not the case. Soga Machiko, who acted as Bandra in the "ZyuRangers" series, did film new footage for Saban in the second season ["The Mutiny," Part I-III & "When is a Ranger Not a Ranger"] until the episode "The Wedding" when Finster administered a make-over. Rita is now performed by Carla Perez with Barbara Goodson, still, doing the voice-overs. The number-one benefit of U.S. production of Rita's scenes is that the words match up with her lips and the video editors don't have to splice various clips from several "ZyuRanger" episodes. Interestingly, Julia Cortez portrays Rita Repulsa in the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie". The reason for the new footage and not the consistent recycling of the old film clips (that Haim Saban mentioned in an interview with T.V. Guide they had more than enough of) is because they have no film of Rita and Lord Zedd together because Lord Zedd did not come from "ZyuRanger" and is a completely American production of Saban Entertainment.
