- With the exception of Billy, the teens had abnormal difficulty with the relatively simple clues in the scavenger hunt. (01:16; 02:09; 05:27)
- Although Zedd had told Goldar to take the Putties to steal the toy cannon, Goldar wasn't with the Putties when they stole it. (06:26)
- Despite Zedd's referring to the evil destination as the "Lost Universe," Zordon referred to it as the the "Lost Dimension." (10:44)
- At the end of Rocky's morph sequence in this episode, there was oddly neither a zoom-in nor a Red Ranger helmet. (11:16)
- When Zedd summoned his grow bomb to throw to Earth, Goldar's head jerked in a jump-cut as the bomb appeared. (12:55)
- When the Thunderzords arrived after being summoned, each Dinozord was first shown transforming into its respective Thunderzord in the mountains. (13:24)
- Tommy called the Red Dragon Thunderzord in Warrior Mode the "Thunder Megazord." (14:11)
- When Tommy would later call for the formation of the Thunder Ultrazord once Tor was there, the Zords would assemble into the Megatigerzord rather than the Ultrazord. (15:22)
- The Firebird flew off the Megatigerzord's arm tail-first, but it was then shown flying head-first without having turned around. (16:22)
- The six teens, with Billy included, had trouble figuring out the last clue, "They're the colors of the rainbow and they fight villains too. Find a picture of them and that will do."; Ernie finally figured it out for them. (18:16)
