When Lord Zedd froze Zack’s Mastodon Dinozord, Zack thought it was the end of the Rangers. But, Zordon replaced the Mastodon with the even stronger and more courageous Lion Thunderzord. When the Thunderzords combine to form the Thunder Megazord, the Lion makes up the chest, arms, shoulders, and head. The powerful body of the Lion Thunderzord has the duty of protecting the Thunder Megazord from attacking enemies. It can also create illusions to confused Zedd’s monsters.
