Upper Deck Major League Baseball was released in May 1997 shortly after the start of the MLB season. It was the second series of cards from Upper Deck that was distributed exclusively via Bandai America’s Cardzillion Card Vending Machines.
Cards in this series are based on their counterparts found in the 1996 Upper Deck Collector’s Choice Baseball series.
