An evil sorceress named Rita Repulsa escapes from her space dumpster prison and begins a quest to take over planet Earth.
Fortunately for Earth, Zordon - a wise old sage trapped in a time warp, has prepared for just such an occasion. Using his constant companion, Alpha 5, Zordon recruits five teenagers from Angel Grove to take on Rita and her henchman - Squatt, Baboo, Finster and Goldar. The five teens, Jason, Kimberly, Zach, Trini and Billy, each have special skills and strengths that make them "Morph" or change into a group of nearly indestructible super heroes called "Power Rangers." Rita, determined to succeed in her quests sends down Goldar and her Putty Patrol to battle the novice Rangers. But, the teens call on their Dinozords, large battle vehicles shaped like dinosaurs, to help them defeat the Putties and cause Goldar to retreat to the moon.

Billy has created some communication devices for the Power Rangers. The devices are a direct link up between Zordon and the Rangers. When they try out the devices, they are immediately teleported to the command center where they're informed that Rita is up to her old tricks, again. Rita has sent a portal in the shape of a miniature shuttle as well as a monster named Bones. The heroes are confronted by Putties outside the base. While fighting the Putties, Billy is trapped high in the cliffs by two of them. His only hope is Trini, who is hiding behind some rocks and is afraid of heights. Realizing she has to conquer her fear of heights or watch Billy die, she sets out to climb the rocks with Zordon's encouragement and guidance. She conquers her fear and rescues Billy and the others, who had been neutralized by the Putties. They join forces and set out to attack Bones, who has now begun to terrorize an amusement park. Their problems, however, are not yet over as Rita sends a giant Ninja which manages to get hold of Jason. He calls the power of the Tyrannosaurus and Dinozord and defeats the Ninja by blasting him square in the eyes.

Kimberly and Trini gather enough signatures to close down a nearby polluting dumpsite. Unaware that the dumpsite is controlled by Rita, the girls go there and are attacked by Putties. Zordon summons the Rangers and he informs them of the danger the girls are in. The Rangers plan to come to the girls rescue, but Zordon makes them fight Rita's latest monster first. Zordon shows them the power of their new weapons and warns that they can only be used to defeat Rita's monster. The Power Rangers join together to form the Mighty Power Sword. One laser blast causes Rita's monster to be defeated. The Power Rangers learn that even big obstacles can be overcome with teamwork.

Jason is trying to beat an old bench pressing record which actually belongs to Bulk the punk. He fails due to a spell, cast by Rita, which makes Jason weaker. His friends try to cheer him up, but friends cannot help you beat a bench pressing record, you have to do that by yourself. Rita pits Jason against her new monsters the Sphinx, and Goldar, by transporting them to the desert, while the rest of the Power Rangers are busy fighting Putties. The team, minus Jason, are transported back to the base where Zordon tells them that the only way to help Jason is to transport their power crystals to him. Jason receives the crystals and uses them to transform the Megazord and destroy the Sphinx. Jason realizes that they could not have done it without the help of all of them. As friends they achieved their goal.

This time Rita has commissioned Finster, a monster, to use and play mind control music. Finster makes a suggestion for the Gnarly Gnome, a kind of Pied Piper that hypnotizes by playing some hideous accordion music. Before Rita can object, Finster activates the Monster-matic and Gnarly Gnome is created. Back at the youth center, Kimberly is teaching a dance class. Afterwards some of the girls are hypnotized by the Gnarly Gnome except one girl, Melissa, who is totally deaf. Melissa follows the zombie-like girls into Rita's cave. Rita is irritated by the Gnome's mistake in capturing the girls when he was supposed to capture the Power Rangers. Melissa runs back to the Youth Center extremely terrified. She warns Jason about what she has just seen and he summons the Power Rangers to investigate. The Rangers follow Melissa back to the cave. Kimberly hides Melissa in a secure place so the Power Rangers can safely morph. After an intense fight, they defeat the Gnarly Gnome by engaging the Power Blaster and eliminating him.

The kids are all set for a cultural food festival at the Youth Center to raise money and buy equipment for the Angel Grove playground. Everything seems to be going well until Bulk, and his dimwit sidekick Skull, almost ruin everything by initiating a food fight. This gives Rita Repulsa an idea. She commissions a monster to destroy the Earth's food supply. Finster creates an overgrown pig named Pudgy Pig who will eat everything in sight. The Power Rangers try to stop the Pig before he destroys the food festival, but it's too late. Pudgy Pig has even eaten their weapons.

Kim and Trini have become big sisters to twelve year old Maria. In the meantime, Rita has discovered the secret to Zordon's power- the Power Eggs. The Eggs are stashed in a chest protected by an electronic forcefield. Rita discovers that only the power of an innocent child could open up the chest. Rita, along with her latest creation Chunky Chicken, plot to abduct Maria.

Billy's invention in mind reading goes haywire causing Billy and Kimberly to switch personalities. The results are hilarious as Kimberly, the queen of makeup, attempts to operate a computer and Billy, now in Kimberly's mind, has to apply mascara. In the meantime Rita's cronies conjure up a Genie in a magic lamp who gets caught in a tug of war between the Rangers and Rita. When Rita's cronies have control of the lamp, the Power Rangers are blasted by a laser beam from the Genie. Zack manages to take the lamp away from Rita's cronies during the struggle. Now, with the lamp in the Rangers' possession, the Genie is on the Rangers side. Rita tries to persuade the Genie to join her side. When the Genie refuses, she blows his lamp away. Rita reappears with another lamp, while the Rangers and Alpha try to fix the old one. With Rita's new lamp, the Genie is once again under Rita's control. Alpha finds the missing piece to the lamp, and the Genie is sucked into his original lamp. Before Rita can use her lamp the Power Rangers blow her lamp to pieces. The Genie is now in the Ranger's control for good.

Billy and his young protege, 12 year old Willie, are preparing for the Junior Science Fair. Willie has invented a virtual reality video game that is sure to impress the judges. Unfortunately, Rita is also impressed by young Willie's mind. She commissions a monster that will capture people's minds. Behold, Eyeguy, a giant eyeball which, once it captures an individual, Rita can have unlimited access to their mind. Rita's immediate orders are to capture Willie. After Willie is captured, the Power Rangers take on Eyeguy. They blast Eyeguy and the resulting explosion causes Eyeguy to separate into many small eyeballs. The Power Rangers form the Ultra Mega Zord and Mighty Megazord. Eyeguy manages to regroup into the original Eyeguy. The Rangers turn their power sword on high beam power and defeat Eyeguy.

Rita steals one of Trini's favorite trolls from her doll collection, Mr. Ticklesneezer. Legend has it that this Troll has the power to shrink things and people, and store them in his bottle. Using this information, Rita has Finster bring the Troll back to life and casts a magic spell over him which gives the Troll an incredible urge to steal. When the Power Rangers try to stop him, he shrinks them and puts them in the bottle as well.

In an effort to conceal Zack's surprise birthday party, the kids pretend to have forgotten Zack's birthday. He goes off by himself feeling a little depressed when Rita throws him the ultimate birthday surprise. Enter a monster named Knasty Knight. Zack takes on the Knasty Knight alone. The Power Rangers come to Zack's aid, but Knasty Knight manages to melt down their weapons. They call on their Dinozords and form the Megazord, but the Knight's sword is too powerful. Their only hope is the Hyper Beam which has not been tested. The Hyper Beam engulfs around the Knight and the Megazord splits the Knight's sword in two. It all ends with a fun-filled surprise Birthday party for Zack, who is thrilled that his friends did not forget him.

The Power Rangers and Sylvia, Trini's 7 year-old cousin, are having some fun at the Circus Fair. There are numerous clowns around, including Pineapple The Clown, which appeals especially to Sylvia. What they don't realize is that the Circus Fair is actually a trap set up by Rita. The clowns are all Putty Patrollers, and Pineapple The Clown is actually Pine Octopus the monster. This monster has the ability to produce a powder that turns anyone who comes into contact with it into a two dimensional form. Pineoctopus throws the powder at Sylvia. She now looks like a cardboard cutout. The Power Rangers, minus Trini, fight Pineoctopus, while Trini is at the Command Center working with Alpha to restore Sylvia to normal. She splashes Sylvia with water and she returns to normal. Trini rejoins the group and informs them that water is the key. They freeze Pineoctopus and defeat him with a blast from the Megazord.

During a break at the park, the Power Rangers are attacked by Putties. While they are being distracted, Baboo manages to slip a few drops of a potion into their drinks. After the Putty fight is over, a thirsty Kimberly and Billy chug down their drinks, turning from good to evil. Rita sends down Terror Toad, a monster whose favorite food is teenagers. Zordon says the only way to reverse the effects of the potion is to drink the sap of the Singing Squash, a squash that sings bad opera. Zordon sends Alpha to retrieve the squash, since Billy and Kimberly are incapacitated and Terror Toad has just swallowed Trini and Zack. Jason is the only one left to fend off the Terror Toad and Zordon tells him that the Toad's weakest point is the horn under his chin. It's up to Alpha to get the squash, who slowly makes his way through the dimensional vortex of the singing squash. He almost has one, but then he is suddenly attacked by Putties. The obnoxious singing of the squash is too much for the Putties and they disappear. Alpha hurries back to the Command Center and gives the sap to Kimberly and Billy. They snap out of it and join Jason to defeat the Toad. The swallowed Rangers are free. Kimberly fires her bows rapidly at the Toad hiting his weak spot. The Toad falls down. Kimberly aims one final blow right into the Toad's mouth defeating him.

The Power Rangers are decorating the youth center for a dance party. Zack offers to teach Billy a few moves to impress the ladies but Billy declines. His top priority is to complete a weather analyzing device. He leaves the center and bumps right into Marge (Ernie's niece who is a girl-genius). It is instant love at first sight for both of them. They make arrangements to meet at Angel Grove Park later that afternoon. Meanwhile, Rita has asked Madame Woe to help her with several evil schemes. Rita makes a request for Madame Woe to capture one Power Ranger so the rest can follow. Maggie shows up at the park and waits for Billy. Madame Woe gets there first and captures Maggie. Rita is furious at Madame Woe for messing up. When Billy gets to the park, he finds Maggie's necklace on the ground, but no Maggie. He immediately suspects the worst. Zordon informs the Power Rangers that the only way to defeat Madame Woe is to combine the Power Coins, so that anyone in the group can assume the collective powers of the entire group. Billy volunteers. Madame Woe sends the Rangers into the blue dimension. They are blasted by Madame Woe's rays. Billy absorbs the power and crushes the jewel that contains her power. Madame Woe begins to weaken. The Power Rangers and Marge escape from the dimension. The Rangers unite their Blade Blaster and turn it to Mega Blaster Mode. Marge is freed and asks Billy to the dance, later explaining how the Blue Ranger was her hero.

Uncle Howard, Trini's Chinese elderly uncle, comes to town for a visit. Uncle Howard is a Karate expert and brilliant scientist. He has just invented a secret formula which can make people disappear if the liquid is swallowed. He becomes an instant inspiration for Billy, who has unsuccessfully tried to learn some Karate moves. During a one to one discussion with Billy, Uncle Howard and Billy are attacked by Putties. The Putties seize Uncle Howard and take him to a warehouse. He is warned by Goldar that he has got one hour to tell him where that formula is or he'll be blown to pieces. Goldar attaches a time bomb to Uncle Howard. Uncle Howard, who can be very absent minded, cannot remember where he last left the formula. In the meantime, Rita has sent the Dark Warrior to destroy the city. The Power Rangers have to race against the clock in order to save Uncle Howard from getting blown to bits. The Rangers free Uncle Howard just in the nick of time. They transmorph to battle the Dark Warrior. They form the Megazord and with a blow from the Megazord and defeat the Dark Warrior. Uncle Howard finds his secret formula at Ernie's jukebox and uses it to make himself invisible to play a trick on Bulk and Skull when they go after Billy.

Rita, jealous of Kimberly's beauty, brings forth a poisonous apple to put Kimberly asleep forever. No one can be more beautiful than Rita Repulsa. Finster manages to switch an apple that Kimberly is about to eat with the poisonous apple. Kimberly eats the apple and soon collapses. With one Power Ranger down, Rita sends Snizard Lips to finish off the rest. Snizard Lips manages to slither around the Power Rangers and grasps so tight they can't move. It's up to Kimberly to save them, if she could just wake up. Alpha tries everything to no avail, until he resorts back to the fairy tale "Snow White." He kisses Kimberly on the forehead and she immediately wakes up. Before Kimberly sets off to rescue the Rangers, Zordon tells her to remove the apple on Snizard Lips' head to deplete him of his powers. Kimberly manages to hit a bullseye into the apple with her bow and arrow. Snizard Lips is now helpless. The Power Rangers are free, and with the aid of the Supergun, Snizard Lips is obliterated.

Rita has in her possession a power coin. It is the same coin which the Power Rangers use to summon their powers. Rita decides to use the coin to form the Green Ranger. He is 17 year-old Tommy, the object of Kimberly's desire. With the Green Ranger in Rita's control, he penetrates the command base, turns off Zordon's communication devices and wreaks havoc on Alpha's circuitry. The Green Ranger then teams up with Goldar to fight off the rest of the Power Rangers. The forces of Goldar combined with the Green Ranger prove too much for the team so they head back to the Command Center for Zordon's guidance only to discover the place in total shambles. With Zordon and Alpha out of commission, the Rangers realize they must figure things out on their own.

The Green Ranger continues his path of destruction. He has now transported Jason to an arena in another dimension to face Goldar. Goldar has gotten a hold of Jason's Power Morpher. Jason is helpless without it. His communicator is non-operational, which makes calling for assistance useless. Back at the Command Center Trini and Billy are trying to get Alpha back and restore the Command Center to working order. Rita now has another monster to add to her band of destruction, Scorpina. Back at the Command Center, Billy has managed to repair the communicators and frees Jason from the grips of Goldar and the Green Ranger. Zordon still is not able to communicate, leaving the Power Rangers on their own, as Goldar begins his attack on the city. Bulk and Skull try to flee the city via the youth center, but are captured by a giant Goldar.

Rita now has another monster to add to her band of destruction, Scorpina. Back at the Command Center, Billy has managed to repair the communicators and frees Jason from the grips of Goldar and the Green Ranger. Zordon still is not able to communicate, leaving the Power Rangers on their own, as Goldar begins his attack on the city. Bulk and Skull try to flee the city via the youth center, but are captured by a giant Goldar.

The Green Ranger has once again materialized in the Command Center. He has managed to shut down the newly operating Alpha, and is now working on destroying Zordon's communicator. Unknown to the Green Ranger, Alpha has managed to kick in his auxiliary power supply and traps the Green Ranger inside a forcefield. Meanwhile, Rita has blocked off the sun with a lunar eclipse, making the Megazord weak, gradually losing its power. The Power Rangers bail out of the cockpits just in time, as Rita opens a fiery pit into the Earth where she sends the Megazord. It seems Rita has finally defeated the Power Rangers.

The saga concludes with Alpha restoring the Command Center back into shape and bringing Zordon back. Zordon resurrects the Megazord and advises the Power Rangers that by destroying the Green Ranger's sword they will be able to break the spell that Tommy is in. Jason attempts to convince Tommy to join forces with Zordon and destroy Rita, but Tommy refuses. Jason manages to destroy the sword and breaks Rita's spell. Back at the Command Center, Zordon convinces and welcomes the new Power Ranger to their team. With Tommy they can now form the Mega-Dragonzord and be invincible against Rita's evil forces.

Shellshock is a turtle monster that Squatt and Baboo create by themselves in order to please Rita. Shellshock has a stoplight that can freeze people in motion or freeze them up. When Shellshock begins his attack, he freezes up Billy, Zack, and Kimberly and sends Trini into perpetual motion. Jason manages to get away. Rita enlarges Shellshock. Tommy and Jason try to fight him, but the turtle manages to freeze the controls on Tommy's Dragonzord and Jason's Dino Zord. Their only hope is a flower called the Deandra flower. Zordon has sent Trini to the Mountain of Hope to find the flower that will free Tommy and Jason's Zord and restore mobility to Zack, Billy, and Kimberly. Trini manages to find the Deandra flower and frees the Power Rangers from the spell. The flower also absorbs Shellshock's powers. Now, with Shellshock weak, the Dinozord conquers Shellshock.

Billy and Trini are gathering petitions to save the Forest Spirit Statue of Angel Grove Park from demolition by the city. Rita steals the statue and replaces it with a replica to hide her latest monster, the eight legged Spidertron. She also releases some butterflies which spread a powder that makes everyone who comes in contact with it fall asleep. The first victims of the butterflies are Zack's karate class. When Zack discovers his class asleep in the youth center, he calls for help. The butterflies become aware of his presence and chase him all the way to the park. When he arrives at the park he sees the Spidertron slowly coming out of the statue and stares in horror. Zack is extremely arachnophobic. Zack takes Spidertron on with his Dinozard. Jason comes to Zack's aid with his Tyrannosaurus Zord, but they both run into difficulty defeating Spidertron. Tommy is summoned to assemble the Mega Dragonzord. It is equipped with a lethal spinning wand which attacks Spidertron and destroys it.

After destroying Kimberly's beautiful float, Rita Repulsa decides to put a damper on plans for the world peace parade by turning the flowers that cover the parade floats into evil creatures and has Finster create the Spit Flower, part animal, part plant. Pretty soon the flower attacks Angel Grove. The Power Rangers are sent, but are no match for the plant, and when Rita increases the size of the plant, even Dragonzord is useless. The team is teleported back to the Command Center by Zordon. He informs them that he has located the flowers weak spot. The Power Rangers have to destroy the Spit Flower before it jeopardizes the world peace parade. The flower's weak spot is it's mist sack. Without it, the Spit Flower cannot reproduce more biting bloomers and it will reduce its' strength. Kimberly aims her bow and hits a bullseye on the mist sack. The Flower begins weakening, but it takes a combination of the Power Rangers weapons to form the Power Blaster to blow up the Spit Flower. In the mean time, Tommy, with the help of Alpha, fixes Kimberly's float. In the end, Kimberly is gleefully surprised when she sees her float in the parade on television.

The Power Rangers are finalizing plans for a costume party at the youth center. As usual Rita is watching through her Repulssascope and plans to foil the fun. She sends a monster which is an exact replica of Frankenstein's monster. Its' purpose is to mingle at the party, but its' mission is to destroy the Power Rangers. The monster's strange behavior at the party causes Billy to follow and investigate. A confrontation results and Billy warns the others that Frankenstein is one of Rita's goons. Rita converts the monster into a giant. The Megazord takes a heavy beating from Frankenstein and breaks down into individual units. Tommy saves the day when he shows up with his Dragonzord to form the Megadragonzord. Using the Megadragonzord weapons they blast Frankenstein away.

Jason and Tommy are getting ready for the Team Ninja competition finals. However, the two seem to spend more time outdoing each other and bickering than working together on some kind of strategy. Meanwhile, her Repulsiveness, has made a new army of indestructible Super-Putties. She has also created a replica of Frankenstein monster - made of super putty. These new Putties are more than our teenage heroes bargained for, so Zordon sends Jason and Tommy to find weapons that will destroy these Putties. It is a test in teamwork for both Jason and Tommy. They put their bickering aside, and set out to find the weapons. The rest of the Rangers are getting pounded and cornered by these New Super Putties. It looks like the Rangers are in a real jam, until Jason and Tommy appear with the new weapons and destroy the Putties. Rita has increased the size of the Super Frankenstein to one hundred feet tall. With their new weapons, the Power Rangers concentrate their fire power and Super Frankenstein is defeated.

Jason, Kimberly, Bulk, and Skull are rehearsing for the school play "Rumpelstiltskin." The spinning wheel prop used in the play is a family heirloom that has been in Kimberly's family for a hundred years. When Rita sees the wheel through her Repulsascope, she sends Goldar to steal it. She then casts a spell upon it, making the wheel evil with the power to destroy anything it touches - including the Rangers. Goldar and Scorpina are sent to begin a rampage on Earth. When Rita sees that her monster might be defeated she sends down the wheel. Jason calls the power of the Ultrazord. It locks on the wheel and fires, then it suddenly disappears. To Kimberly's, surprise her beloved grandmother's spinning wheel re-appears and the play is a success.

The Rangers are transported to Rita's Island of Illusion with the help of Crayniac. Crayniac has created monsters that are able to short circuit the Power Ranger's Zords. The Rangers find themselves in the island without their power coins, belts, or protection of any kind. Soon the teens are attacked by creatures that are not real. They are also attacked by each of the teens own worst fears, causing them to lose confidence in themselves which in turn causes their bodies to disappear. Their only hope may lie in a little island inhabitant named Quagmire.

Rita works her deadly illusions on the Power Rangers causing each one of them to disappear and reappear. Quagmire helps them by forcing each one to recall an event where each individual Power Ranger had the strength and confidence to win out over their enemy. When all attempts by Crayniac to destroy the teens fail, the Power Rangers regain their power coins. Rita has sent Lokar and Fang-Gor to finish off the Rangers. They form the Mega-Dragonzord and blast Fang-Gor. With a blast from the Ultrazord, Lokar lights up in a fantastic blaze.

Jason declines to go on a field trip with the rest of the Power Rangers so he can spend some time with his cousin Jeremy. While they are fishing, Jeremy reels in a bottle containing a map that reveals where a magic mirror is hidden. The mirror can destroy anyone who looks at it. Jason and Jeremy are soon attacked by Putties as Rita has sent Goldar to find the mirror for her. Jeremy flees with the map while Jason tries to fight off the Putties. Scorpina summons Rockstar, a boulder bearing monster that spits rocks, to join Scorpina and aid her in her destruction. Scorpina and Goldar set out to find Jeremy and the Power Rangers to try to find him before Scorpina and Goldar can reach him and get hold of the mirror. Rockstar is about to throw a boulder at Jeremy as he opens the mirror. Rockstar sees his reflection causing him to disintegrate. Jeremy then gets zapped by a hot beam from the mirror and it flies through the air. Kimberly catches it, but it gets knocked out of her hand by Scorpina. Rita increases Scorpina's size as Jason summons the Ultrazord. Scorpina tries to use the mirror on Ultrazord, but Ultrazord covers his eyes. A giant sized Goldar then comes to aid Scorpina. The Ultrazord's Sword shatters the mirror into a hundred points of light and Goldar and Scorpina disappear into thin air. Back at the youth center, Jeremy tells the Power Teens about his adventure and inquires as to where Jason was all that time.

Kimberly wakes up one day on the wrong side of the bed. Her hair is a mess, her mirror breaks, she gets to school dripping wet from the rain, and her pep rally notes are ruined. She thinks the day can't get any worse. But it will because Rita is planning to send a monster to capture Kimberly. Finster creates the Samurai Fanman for the task. While walking home from school, Kimberly and Tommy are attacked by a gale force wind. The wind knocks Tommy into a tree and he falls unconscious. Kimberly is swept up into another dimension into the Samurai Fanman's jar. Zordon teleports the Power Rangers to the command base and informs them of Kimberly's immediate danger. Alpha teleports the unconscious Tommy to command base and onto a stretcher. Zordon warns that they must hurry because the dimension only exists for a short time. If it disappears, Kimberly will also disappear forever. The Power Rangers battle the Fanman, now giant size, with their Dino Zords. Jason frantically tries to reach Tommy, who is slowly recuperating, when he gets the stress call. Despite his weak condition, Tommy and his Dragonzord answer the call and form into the Megadragonzord. Jason orders to morph to Ultrazord mode and Fanman is destroyed.

Tommy is going to audition for a karate commercial. Bulk wants to audition for the same commercial as well. While Tommy and Bulk are waiting at the casting session, the Power Teens are having a relaxing day at the beach - or so they think, until Scorpina shows up. She manages to encase the Power Rangers into a cocoon. Their only hope is Tommy, but Zordon can't seem to communicate with him. The Power Rangers manage to break out of the cocoon by cutting the shell with their lasers set at low frequencies. They are immediately transported to command base, where Zordon informs them that Goldar plans to subject them to a barrage of monsters including, Babe Ruthless, Thornus, and Weaveworm. They fight each of them and win, but are trapped once again when Scorpina encases the Megazord into a cocoon. Only Tommy and the Dragonzord can help. If they could only communicate with him. Tommy finally answers Zordon's call. Tommy morphs and frees the Rangers with the help of his Dragonzord, they form the Megadragonzord and defeat Weaveworm. Finally, the kids see Tommy's commercial. Bulk is furious when he discovers that he was chosen to represent someone who needs karate lessons.

The Power Teens are rehearsing for a talent show. Tommy and Jason are rehearsing a karate exhibition, Zack is practicing juggling eggs while Bulk and Skull plan to switch them into soft boiled eggs. In the meantime, Finster has prepared another monster, Fang, to destroy the Power Teens and sends him down to Earth. Tommy, aware that he doesn't have the black belts that they are supposed to wear for the show, sets out to fetch them, but he is attacked by Putties who snatch his power belt and use it to lead Tommy into a trap. Zordon summons the rest of the Power Rangers and shows them Tommy trapped inside a net. Their first priority is to take care of Fang. The Power Rangers and their Dinozords try to battle Fang, but Fang has now teamed up with Goldar. If Tommy could be free of the net, he could lend a helping hand to the Power Rangers and, when he finally frees himself from the net, he morphs calling his Dragonzord. They all then form the Megadragonzord. Fang gives the Zord a heavy blow causing it to falter and Megadragonzord disengages and Jason's Tyrannosaurus comes to the aid of Dragonzord. Jason calls on the Power Sword and with a shimmery light coming from the sword, Fang is completely destroyed. In the end, the talent show is a success with Bulk getting the "yolk" all over him when his practical joke backfires.

Rita's latest scheme involves The Green Ranger. She makes plans to kidnap The Green Ranger and uses a green candle made out of magic wax that will absorb the Green Ranger's power. When the candle burns out the Green Ranger's power will belong to Rita. She sends the Putties to capture Tommy and they succeed. Goldar sends Tommy into another dimension while Rita sends Cyclops, a monster with the ability to change into Tommy's Dragonzord. Cyclops disguised as Dragonzord, proceeds to attack the city. The Power Rangers decide to attack the Dragonzord whether Tommy is in it or not.

Tommy manages to escape from the Dark Dimension by snatching Goldar's sword and tapping it twice on the ground. However, the candle is still burning and slowly draining Tommy's powers. The only way to stop Rita from gaining the Green Ranger's power is for someone to go into the Dark Dimension and retrieve the candle. Tommy feels it is his duty to be the one to go, but Zordon warns that if Tommy touches the candle it will speed the process and drain his power more quickly. Jason volunteers. Tommy reluctantly agrees. With the help of molecular decoders, they find the portal entrance into the Dark Dimension. Once Jason is in the dimension he must face off Goldar, who is fiercely protecting the candle. In the meantime, Rita has sent Cyclops disguisedas Megadragonzord to attack Angel Grove Tommy begs Zordon to go and defend the city even if his Zord is only running on limited power. Zordon tells the rest of the team to abort the mission and help Tommy before he loses his life. Zack goes into the Dark Dimension to retrieve Jason. Jason vows to Goldar that he'll come for the candle. The team reunites and forms the Ultrazord to defeat the Cyclops. When they return to the Command Center, they receive the terrible news that the candle has burned out and Tommy has lost his power. But, all is not lost because they must transfer The Green Ranger's Power coin to another Ranger so Rita won't access his power. Faced with this tough, but only choice, Tommy relinquishes his coin to Jason. Thus The Green Ranger comes to an end.

Zack is preparing Cameron, his 12 year old protege, for a ninjitsu competition. As soon as the tournament is about to begin Zack has to bail out to answer a more pressing call because Rita has sent another monster. Cameron resents Zack's sudden abandonment and his confidence begins to sag. Zack has no choice but to answer to Zordon. This time Rita has sent a gigantic chicken, named The Hatchling. It is controlled by an ultra intelligent computer named Romeo. The only way to destroy it is to get inside the Hatchling and destroy Romeo. Jason gets inside the Hatchling and faces Romeo. Romeo ferociously defends himself. Jason advances with all his might and hits Romeo with his sword. The Hatchling gradually begins to weaken. Jason calls on the Ultrazord and commands it to fire on the Hatchling. It is immediately destroyed, causing Rita another migraine.

Trini has designed a Clean Up Club, a club that meets once a week to clean up and recycle around Angel Grove. Rita as usual is not pleased, and plans to pollute the planet even further by sending in her latest monster. The Polluticorn is a unicorn that will pollute the planet so badly it will never be able to be cleaned up. The Power Rangers try to destroy it, but it is indestructible. Billy and Alpha try frantically to analyze it to discover its weak point. They finally find it - its' horn. If it's cut off, the unicorn will lose its power and will be able to be destroyed. Jason calls on the Mantle of Power and charges at Polluticorn, cutting off his horn. Rita increases its size. The Power Rangers call on their Dinozords to form the Megazord. The Polluticorn charges toward the Megazord with a laser beam. Jason calls on the Mega Sword. It hits Polluticorn and explodes into a huge ball of flame.

This may be Rita's most diabolical play yet. She sends to Earth five exact replicas of the Power Rangers. These Rangers are evil and they soon frame the real Power Rangers with their wrong doings. The citizens of Angel Grove have lost confidence in the Rangers and it seems like a real dark day in the life of Angel Grove. When the real Power Rangers are alerted by Zordon, they set out to fight their evil twins as they must foil Rita's plan quickly in order to exonerate themselves. The Good Rangers battle and defeat their evil twins, who turn out to be Rita's Putties, except for the evil Jason. He turns out to be the Knight in Shiny Mirrors. He creates an illusion which makes everything look like a kaleidoscope. He blasts the Power Rangers and they struggle to get up. They call on their weapons and form the Mega Gun. They fire and destroy the Knight in Shiny Mirrors.

The city gathers at Angel Grove Park for a Power Ranger celebration, the Mayor wants to thank the Rangers for their heroics in defending the city from Rita's attacks. The Power Teens watch in amazement at the gathering crowd and decide to honor the personal appearance. They watch in horror however, as the crowd starts disappearing. Zordon informs them that the crowd has been sent into another dimension by Rita. They will be safe there for the time being. They're also informed of Rita's latest monster, a child who calls himself Bubba. Along with another evil destroyer, Cyclopsis, Bubba begins to attack the city. The Power Rangers manage to destroy Cyclopsis, but Bubba gets away. Meanwhile, Rita decides to move her palace to Earth so she can watch the final battle up close. Bubba calls on Lokar and Rita resurrects Cyclopsis. Now, the Rangers have double the evil to deal with and rescue the citizens of Angel Grove before they are trapped in the dimension forever.

The Power Zords are re-entering after taking a fierce beating from Cyclopsis. Lokar and the resurrected Cyclopsis set forth to destroy Angel Grove. The Power Teens will likely go and fight the monster, but Zordon warns that the Zords will not be ready for another twelve hours. But the Rangers feel they may not have another twelve hours before the citizens of Angel Grove will be trapped in the dimension. The Power Rangers unanimously agree to take the monsters on at half the power. They take a nasty blow from Lokar, and Rita blows a nasty bolt that jams the frequency on the communicators. They have no way of contacting command base. Billy suggests they return to his garage where he can repair the communicators. In his garage, Billy frantically tries to unscramble the frequency when Goldar makes a sudden appearance. The teens try to hold him off. Just in the nick of time, Billy manages to transport everyone to unlimited access to his files. He has found a way to finish Rita off once and for all. He gives them an urn, and an incantation has to be recited within a ten foot distance of Rita so that she will be trapped inside forever. The Power Teens forge on. They get close to Rita as Jason recites the incantation. Rita and her minions are trapped inside the urn forever. The crows reappear at the Park. Zordon tells the Power Teens they are free to go back to civilian life since Rita has been defeated. They unanimously agree to stay Power Rangers and fight other villains to the end.

It's the return of Pudgy Pig! When the Power Rangers participate in Angel Groves' Adopt a Pet day, a little old lady leaves them her pet pig Norman. Little do our teens know that the little old lady is really a putty and soon Rita casts a spell on Norman (who has been adopted by Bulk and Skull) and turns him into her evil monster "Pudgy Pig." The Power Rangers do battle with the pig and win.

The Power Ranger teens compete in their high school Oddball Games and win the coveted Noble Lion Trophy. The Trophy, however, is stolen by Bulk and Skull who soon regret their actions when Rita casts a spell on it and turns it into her evil half-goat, half-lion monster, the "Chimera". The Chimera is one of Rita's most evil monsters ever--it can control the weather to extremes and cause extensive damage with it. Rita plans to destroy earth once and for all. Because Zack is at a loud movie with Angela and cannot hear his communicator, the other Power teens must fight the Chimera monster without him. Finally, just when the monster traps the four Rangers in a tornado, Zordon is able to contact Zack, who deserts Angela at the theater. Zack morphs into Black Ranger and comes to the rescue of his fellow rangers. When Rita makes Chimera grow, the five rangers call on Megazord power and defeat Rita's evil creation. Unfortunately, as a result of abandoning her, Zack's social life with Angela is back to square one.

When the teens go to the park to plant saplings for their science project, Rita sends down Squatt to plant her evil Octoplant. Bulk and Skull, who are nearby, are scared by Squatt and run into a W.C. which is picked up by a dump truck. The Octoplant grows and traps Jason with its tentacles. The other Power Rangers free Jason from the Octoplant. The Octoplant grows into full bloom and fires its laser eyebeam at the Zords. The Megazord succeeds in blasting the Octoplant with its sword. Bulk and Skull show up at the end of science class covered with garbage.

When the Power Rangers go up to Billy's uncle's mountain resort to study for their science test, Goldar seizes the opportunity of having them altogether to call on the Crystal of Nightmares. With this evil crystal, he enters each of the Power Rangers dreams and causes them to have nightmares about being failures as super heroes. This results in them losing their self-confidence. Zordon tells them that the only way they can overcome their fears is by believing in themselves and destroying the Crystal of Nightmares that is hidden in Goldar's Cavern of Destruction. Jason succeeds in entering the cave, and he destroys the crystal. The Power Rangers regain their self-confidence and defeat the Putties who are guarding the cave. Much to Rita's disdain, Goldar's plan is foiled again.

Billy, who has an aversion toward fish, picnics at the park pond with Kimberly while the others go scuba diving. Aware of Billy's weakness, Rita creates her poisonous GooFish monster to destroy the Rangers. The fish throws debilitating star-fish bombs and spits a venomous substance that can both poison people and glue the rangers to the ground! Although Billy cannot face fighting the fish, he overcomes his fear and, with Megazord Power, the Power Rangers defeat the giant GooFish monster.

While the teens are discussing the sad possibility that Ernie may have to close down the Youth Center due to financial problems, Jason shows up with an adorable stray dog. Unbeknown to him, Rita sends down her Fighting Flea monster and plants it on the doggie. Jason gets bitten by the flea and cannot stop itching. Billy must come up with an antidote quickly before Jason itches himself to oblivion, allowing Rita to defeat the Rangers. Meanwhile, the other teens must find the doggie before the flea infects anyone; it's been dognapped by Bulk and Skull, who hope to cash in on the reward offered by its owner for its return. Fortunately, Billy comes up with the antidote in time. Jason's itching subsides and the Rangers, with Megazord power, are able to defeat the nasty Fighting Flea. The stray dog ends up with Ernie, who receives a large cash reward from his matronly owner. Ernie uses the money to save the Juice Bar from going under.

The class project is a time capsule and all our power teens bring something significant to class to share with future generations. Mrs. Appleby contributes a photo of the Power Rangers, which makes Rita immensely jealous. It's she who wants to be remembered. Subsequently, she sends down Squatt and Baboo to steal the capsule and orders Finster to create a monster that will defeat the Power Rangers and enable her to rule the Earth once and for all! The teens are able to thwart Squatt and Baboo's mission, but the monster "Jelly Fish" is a formidable opponent - its toxic spray eats through their power suits and can ultimately destroy the earth. It looks like there's no hope for our heroes until Zack uses the flames of his battle axe to weaken the Jelly Fish and ultimately destroy him. The Power teens, in the end, bury the time capsule and hope for a future that is peaceful and loving.

Trini is having some difficulties learning the Praying Mantis technique from kung fu expert, Master Lee. He assures her that her technique will improve with time and with some additional practice. Rita takes advantage of the situation by sending a "Praying Mantis Monster," who immediately challenges Trini to single combat. She accepts the challenge, but when the Power Rangers come to her aid, the Mantis accuses Trini of having no honor for not fighting alone and instantly disappears. Back at the Command Center, Trini is upset at being dishonored, while Alpha tries to find more information on the monster. Trini is tricked into meeting the Mantis once again for another match. This time, the Mantis breaks the honor code by calling up the Putties. Things look grim for Trini. She uses her kung-fu expertise to pound on the Mantis. Just when the Rangers come to her rescue, Rita makes the Mantis grow. The Rangers call on the Megazord and blow away the Mantis.

When all of the Power Rangers parents gather at the Youth Center for Parents Day, Rita seizes the opportunity to create the "Dramole Monster" which traps all the parents in her Dimension of Darkness. She is convinced that the Power Rangers will surrender their powers to save their parents from doom. Phase two of Rita's operation is to control the Dragonzord. When a tardy Billy arrives at the empty Youth Center, he is engulfed by the toxic fumes of the Dramole and falls under Rita's evil spell. Rita commands Billy to lead her to the Dragon Dagger. Under her influence, Billy goes to the Command Center, deactivates Alpha, steals the Dragon Dagger and brings it to Goldar's dark dimension. The other Power Rangers morph to the dimension and try to thwart Billy from giving the dagger to Goldar. Billy comes out of Rita's spell, but it's too late, he's already handed Goldar the dagger. Goldar plays the dagger and the Dragonzord materializes and starts destroying the city. Together, the five rangers and their zords try to thwart Dragonzord. But when the Dragonzord crashes the Megazord, they have no choice but to bail out. Goldar orders them to surrender their power coins...or they will never see their parents again! Zordon cannot make this decision for the Rangers. It's up to them and they collectively decide that their parents are more important to them than their powers. In the Command Center, the saddened Rangers realize that they still have one coin left...Tommy's! Will Tommy be their only hope? (To be continued)

Tommy, the Ranger's only hope, is teleported to the Command Center by Alpha. Zordon reveals that he can restore Tommy's power by draining his own energy and infusing it into Tommy. The transfusion works and Tommy transforms into the Green Ranger. Tommy's powers, however, will be temporary and can run out at any time, but for his fellow Rangers, the risk is worth it. Tommy, as Green Ranger, goes to battle Goldar to retrieve the other power coins as well as the Dragon Dagger. With his energy almost zapped, Tommy courageously manages to grab the Dragon Dagger and coins and calls on the Dragonzord. Rita sends down giant Goldar and Scorpina to battle the Dragonzord. The other Power Ranger's watch in horror on the viewing globe as Rita's henchman destroy the Dragonzord. Zordon, drained of his energy, commands Alpha to bring in the exhausted Tommy. Green Ranger materializes in the Command Center, collapses and transforms back into civilian Tommy. With Zordon devoid of energy and out of commission, Billy comes up with a plan to use their power coins to restore him. The plan works and Zordon is re-energized. While Tommy remains unconscious, the other five Power Rangers go to battle the Dramole. Only if they destroy the monster will their parents be free. The Dramole monster pulls all the Rangers, except Kimberly, into the Earth and then shoots his poisonous gas at them which causes them to attack Kimberly. In the meantime, Tommy comes to and morphs out of the Command Center to save his friends. Just when Green Ranger and Dragonzord arrive on the scene, the spell from the gas runs out and Red, Blue, Yellow and Black Ranger become themselves again. Rita, in frustration, makes the Dramole grow, but together, Megazord and Dragonzord defeat it. The Power Rangers' parents are at last free and they are reunited with them in the end.

When Billy gets a "B" on a test instead of his usual "A," he fears he will not make The Young Scientist Club of America. This time Rita decides to give the Rangers a "B" of her own--the "Grumble Bee," a nasty monster that shoots poisonous venom and has lethal stingers. Billy must sacrifice his studies to battle the monster with Trini, while his fellow rangers (Jason, Kimberly and Zack) are being held prisoner by Goldar. Alpha manages to free Jason, Kimberly and Zack, and together with Billy and Trini, they use megazord power to defeat the Grumble Bee. In the end, Billy gets an "A" on his exam, thanks to hard studying, and gets into The Young Scientist Club.

Jason and Tommy team up to teach a self-defense class to middle-aged women. Bulk and Skull join the class--thinking that it will be an opportunity to meet "babes." Jason and Tommy's efficient teamwork gives Rita the idea for Finster to create a two-headed monster, the "Two-Headed Parrot." The only way to defeat this doubly smart and evil monster is to distract it with its favorite food, the giant Kiwi fruit. Tommy finds a giant Kiwi growing in the park, but he is thwarted by the putties. Luckily, he remembers that Ernie has a shipment of this exotic fruit. He manages to get the Kiwi just in time to help his fellow Power Rangers defeat the Parrot with the Ultrazord.

Bulk and Skull make a nuisance of themselves by attempting to juggle balls at a party for underprivileged kids, but Zach manages to scare them off with a pair of rubber snakes. An impressed Angela gives Zack a peck on the cheek. This gives Rita her latest inspiration, the "Peckster," a monster that can destroy buildings with a single peck. Zack has to deal with the Peckster by himself, while the other teens are being held up by Putties. Zack is ordered by Zordon to return to the Youth Center and calm the frightened children there. The Rangers defeat the Putties and are then ordered to deal with the Peckster. While fumbling around with a balloon, Zack discovers a way to stop the Peckster - by tricking it into pecking a rubber ball hidden inside a balloon, the Peckster's beak is debilitated. Rita increases the Peckster's size. The Peckster is defeated with one strike from the Megazord.\

Kimberly helps her insecure younger cousin Kelly make the Angel Grove Junior High Cheerleading team. Kelly, however, feels that she cannot measure up to her beautiful talented cousin, who is still remembered for being an outstanding cheerleader. Rita, who wants the world to cheer only for her, sends down the putties to deter Kimberly and Trini while Squatt and Baboo kidnap Kelly. She then sends down the Lizzinator, a super-strong monster whose mission is to destroy buildings and wipe out the Power Rangers. While the six Rangers use their Zords to defeat the powerful Lizzinator, Kelly comes up with a plan to deter her captors, Squatt and Baboo. With her new found self-confidence, Kelly succeeds in making the cheerleading team.

Kimberly is a contestant with a chance to win a car on a tacky horror comedy game-show called Trick or Treat. Her opponent is none other than Skull. All her fellow Rangers come to root for her except for Tommy, who has to compete in a inter-city Karate tournament. Just when Kimberly is about to win the car, the Rangers get a call from Zordon. Rita has decided to give the Rangers a little trick or treat of her own--a lethal monster named "Pumpkin Rapper," who can destroy the Rangers with his electrically charged vines. A disappointed Kimberly pretends to faint on the set and she joins the others to battle the monster. Just when it looks like the monster will overcome the Rangers, Tommy/Green Ranger shows up and uses his dragon dagger to cut the vines. In the end, Skull loses the car he won by default on the game show because the network discovers that he and Bulk were cheating.

Jason and Tommy volunteer their time at the Youth Center to teach a Karate class to kids. Their teamwork gives Rita the idea for her latest inspiration, the "Slippery Shark". Upon contact with the shark's flying fin, Jason and Tommy will come to hate each other. This happens during a Putty fight, causing Jason and Tommy to come to near blows. Zordon says the only way to reverse the effect is for Tommy and Jason to try to work with each other. Jason and Tommy face the shark, but the Slippery Shark is too slippery for them. They agree to use a new move they had been working on together and this immediately breaks the spell. With Jason and Tommy back to normal, the entire gang teams up and call on their Zords. Rita enlarges the Shark, but he is blasted into a ball of flames from a blast of the Megazord.

Jason and Zack try to help young Roger into making Ernie's junior soccer team. The eavesdropping Rita commands the creation of a monster to kick around the Rangers. Finster creates the "Socadillo Ball" which gains strength by absorbing energy and has sharp claws and teeth. The Putties and Socadillo descend on the field in which Jason and Zack are coaching Roger and are set for a soccer match of their own. Trini, Billy, and Kimberly are transported by Alpha to help Jason and Zack. After a short fight, the Putties and Socadillo retreat so Socadillo can regain its power. Alpha is having trouble communicating with Tommy and without him, they can't destroy Socadillo. When Socadillo is sent back down to Earth, the Rangers take the chance to attack without Tommy. After a frantic search, Alpha locates Tommy and transports him. Rita makes her monster grow, the Rangers call on their Zords and form Ultrazord, which fires upon Socadillo and perishes in a huge explosion. Back at the Youth Center, tension mounts as the names are read for the new soccer team. Roger has been named team captain.

Tommy is not sure if he is good enough to try out for football, and is afraid to let his father down, after all, is father was an All-Star Quarterback. Rita plans a football game of her own with the Putties and the "Rhino Blaster". While Tommy is at practice, the Rangers are set for a nasty match, but Rhino Blaster blows a mist on them that sends them into another dimension. Tommy is their only hope. Tommy and his Dragonzord battle the Rhino which has now increased in size. The only way to save them is to throw the Dragondagger into the multidimensional mist. If it doesn't work, Tommy will lose the Dragondagger forever. Tommy throws the Dragondagger into the mist. An angry Rhino charges towards Tommy, when just in the nick of time, the Megazord appears. The Megazord and Dragonzord battle and blow up the Rhino causing Rita major grief. Back at the Youth Center, when the names of the football team are read, not only has Tommy made the football team, but he is also the star quarterback.

Lately Tommy has been having trouble remembering things. When Miss Appleby gives her class an assignment that requires an individual to change a particular flaw, the Power Teens decide to help Tommy with his forgetfulness. This becomes Rita's latest inspiration, to create some Rangers who are flawless by retrieving the Badges of Darkness from the Cove of Evil, which have been buried for hundreds of years. She will use the badges to transform her Putties into nasty mutant Rangers. Her Rangers are perfect, with the exception of the red leader. Rita gets rid of the red leader and Finster creates "Commander Crayfish" as his replacement. The evil Rangers are sent to earth and match the Power Rangers blow by blow. Alpha supplies the Rangers with new, heavy artillery weapons. Rita, in exasperation, makes Crayfish and the mutant Rangers grow in size. The Rangers call on their Zords, and after an intense battle the Dragonzord obliterates Crayfish and the mutant Rangers.

As Angela's birthday approaches, Zack would like to win her affections again by buying her a pair of pearl earrings. Unaware that the earrings he has purchased are actually the pearls of stillness from the Oyster Bed of Destruction, Zack gives Angela the earrings during a double date with Tommy and Kimberly. Having been forewarned of the pearls, Trini, Jason, and Billy rush to stop Zack, but they arrive as Angela tries the earrings, causing the entire restaurant to be completely paralyzed. Zack and Tommy are in the men's room during this incident and arrive back to find they are the only ones who can stop the "Oysterizer," which has just been released into the ocean by Rita. The two Rangers face the Oysterizer, and while Zack manages to shoot the pearl on top of its head, thereby breaking the spell at the restaurant, the battle leaves Tommy injured on the beach. The Rangers form the Megazord and go into the ocean to battle the Oysterizer, where they get a heavy beating. A weak Tommy calls the Dragonzord and destroys the Oysterizer and the Ecocide pearl that controls it.

Lord Zedd, disgusted with the lousy job Rita has done trying to destroy the Earth, shrinks her, places her in a cocoon and blasts her into space. Assuming command, Zedd creates and turns loose THE PIRANHTIS HEAD, a monster resembling a giant Piranha. Meantime, Zedd shoots a bolt that jams the Zords' controls. Since the Zords are now useless, Zordon presents each Power Ranger with a brand new zord -- though Tommy doesn't get one because it isn't known if his powers will remain. But the Power Rangers have their work cut out for them, since Zordon says they can assume their new Zords when the old ones are retrieved.

While Trini and Billy work frantically on a device which interferes with Lord Zedd's signals, Zedd releases the PIRANHTIS HEAD into Angel Grove. Due to the gravity of the situation, Zordon agrees to at least try to slow the monster down. The Power Rangers are attacked by, but ultimately defeat, Zedd's Putties. Then PIRANHTIS HEAD begins throwing bolts at the Zords, turning them against the Rangers as they realize they have lost their Zord powers.

Billy is able to fix the signal blaster to try to use the device to break Zedd's signal that gripped the Zords, allowing the Megazord to respond. The Dragonzord does not respond, meaning Tommy's powers are failing. Meanwhile, makes the old Zords attack Angel Grove while the teens are competing in an off-road rally. Lord Zedd makes PIRANHTIS HEAD grow, but the Power Rangers are able to now call on their power and morph into their new Zord, though Tommy's Dragonzord sadly returns to the sea (Dragonzord and Tommy are out of commission to conserve Tommy's powers). The powerful new Zords defeat PIRANHTIS HEAD and Lord Zedd vows revenge.

Zordon disappears due to an interference in the signals caused by the alignment of planets. Seizing the opportunity, Lord Zedd creates PRIMATOR MONSTER from a gorilla suit that Zack was to wear to entertain at a birthday party. Alpha leaves the Command Center to help a little boy lost in the park. Zedd sends PRIMATOR (disguised as Billy) into the park, who does battle with Alpha. The boy manages to free himself from PRIMATOR, but the monster assumes various disguises that confuse the teenagers. Zordon returns to warn the Power Rangers about Alpha's whereabouts. The Power Rangers morph out to face PRIMATOR but face a tough challenge as PRIMATOR changes from one Ranger to another. Zordon shows the Rangers the exact moment PRIMATOR saw his reflection on Alpha. With Kimberly's handy mirror, the PRIMATOR sees his reflection and his powers are weakened. He is quickly terminated by the Zords. Alpha is rescued one second before he self-destructs. He's to spend the rest of his days at the Command Center.

Confusion besets the Power Rangers after Lord Zedd casts a spell which will make the other Rangers look like Putties to Billy and Zack. Both are immediately set to attack their friends, but are puzzled when these "Putties" don't attack them. Zedd creates THE SALIGUANA MONSTER, a giant fire-spitting Salamander, which attacks Angel Grove. Jason commands all to respond whether Billy's device to cool down the monster is ready or not. Billy's device doesn't work, but the Megablaster temporarily knocks down SALIGUANA. Zedd makes SALIGUANA grow. With his powers recharged, Tommy joins in as the Power Rangers destroy SALIGUANA.

Kimberly's sudden nastiness alarms the Power Rangers. During new club week at the Youth Center, a Putty switches Kimberly's cactus plant with a poisonous one. Lord Zedd sends BLOOM OF DOOM to Kimberly's garden to spew fiery pollen. The Power Rangers morph and Zordon gives Kimberly a special weapon -- a ribbon which she uses to wrap around the monster like a vine. Trini tries to obliterate BLOOM OF DOOM with her Power Dagger, but the monster disappears instantly. BLOOM OF DOOM grabs Kimberly with its vines and traps her in a cactus-like dimension. Trini throws her dagger to break the spell, and the BLOOM enlarges. The Power Rangers form Mega Thunderzord, and, with the Mighty Power Sword, destroy the flower in a blizzard of sparks.

Tommy's recurring nightmares regarding loss of his powers are about to come true. To capture the Sword of power, Goldar captures Tommy, places him in a hypnotic trance, and creates ROBOGOAT from a book of myths and legends from Tommy's backpack. At a meeting of the Power Rangers, a hypnotized Tommy suggests boosting his lowered powers via the Sword of Power. Zordon agrees. Tommy disappears with the Sword, returns to Goldar's cave, comes out of his trance, and realizes what he's done. ROBOGOAT drains Tommy's powers and targets the remaining Rangers. Jason manages to knock the Sword off ROBOGOAT, and the sword converts into an ordinary stick. Jason calls on Thunderzord but they're unable to defeat ROBOGOAT without Tommy, who is ultimately able to call up the Dragonzord. Thunderzord and Dragonzord beat ROBOGOAT. The battle is won -- but the war between Zedd and Tommy (and his dwindling powers) is far from over.

Lord Zedd combines an elephant and an octopus into OCTOPHANTOM, a vain monster who enjoys admiring himself in the mirror -- and also has a jar which can drain the Power Rangers of their powers if they are captured. Tommy falls first into the jar, and Zack, Kimberly and Trini also get sucked in. Billy designs a mirror shield to distract the monster. Jason takes on OCTOPHANTOM while Billy frees the others from the jar. Tommy's powers have been so absorbed he can barely walk. As Jason shows the mirror shield to the monster, the Power Rangers use the Power Blaster. But the monster grows. Jason calls on the Thunderzoid, which is transformed into Mega Thunderzord and obliterates OCTOPHANTOM.

The Beetle's are coming to town -- thanks to Lord Zedd, who creates the STAG BEETLE MONSTER from the logo of the Stone Canyon Beetle Broomball team that's set to encounter the Angel Grove team for which Jason, Zack and Tommy have been "volunteered" to play. While jogging in the park, Tommy and Kimberly are attacked by Putties. The STAG BEETLE grabs Tommy and drains his powers. Later, STAG BEETLE begins his attack on Angel Grove. Zordon warns the Rangers that the monster cannot be destroyed until Tommy's powers are recaptured from him. The monster uses Tommy's own powers to overpower the Power Rangers. Tommy appears in the nick of time with the energy transducer and gives STAG BEETLE a square shot. Zedd makes STAG BEETLE grow. Jason calls on the Thunderzords and transforms into Mega Thunderzord, which destroys STAG BEETLE.

The Putties and Goldar abduct Hallie on the beach. As she disappears, Goldar drops a bottle which burns a strange code on the sand. The message: instructions to Goldar to take Hallie to Venus Island, where she'll join Lord Zedd's evil forces. The Rangers are teleported to Venus Island, where they find gigantic Venus Fly Trap plants. A flash of light rips through the trees and hits one of the plants, which becomes the INVENUSABLE FLY TRAP. The monster shoots a ray which sucks four of the Rangers inside it. With Tommy and Trini remaining, the monster makes a deal for Tommy to give himself up, in exchange for Hallie and the Rangers. Alpha sends the message that heat is the monster's weakness. The Power Rangers use their power coins to create immense heat and escape as the island sinks. The monster grows larger. Calling on Thunder Megazord, they defeat the INVENUSABLE FLY TRAP, and rescue Hallie as the island finishes sinking.

While the Power Rangers are having a picnic in the park, Lord Zedd sends in THE GUITARDO, who casts a spell with his music. Zordon warns the Rangers and orders them back to the Command Center for a briefing from Alpha 5. The solution: to keep their own thoughts and never waver. But the Rangers succumb one-by-one to GUITARDO's control, until Kimberly is the only one left. Tommy, left behind because of his ever-weakening powers, pleads with Zordon to let him help. Zordon tells Kimberly the monster must be destroyed to break the spell. With Tommy and GUITARDO engaged in one-on-one battle, Kimberly arrives with a bow and begins to play, weakening Guitardo. Tommy and Kimberly combine the Dragon Dagger and The Power Bow to destroy the GUITARDO Monster and break the spell. From now on, Billy says he'll stick to classical music!

A mysterious flash reveals Tommy from the future giving an incomprehensible message to present-day Tommy before vanishing. Meantime, Lord Zedd recruits a new bunch of teens that have been terrorizing younger students to be his Dark Rangers. The rebel teens taunt Billy and Kimberly while they are collecting seashells at the beach. Zedd uses one of Kimberly's shells to create TURBAN SHELL, who attacks the city. Tommy (despite his weak powers) and the Power Rangers battle the Shell with the Thunder Megazord. Tommy, collapsing from near exhaustion, is captured by TURBAN SHELL. They disappear into another dimension while Tommy holds on for dear life. The other Power Rangers are transported into Zedd's Otherworld and stripped of their morphers.

An energy field surrounds the Command Center and threatens its destruction. A nearly beaten Tommy, humiliated by Goldar by watching past battles on a special TV Time Screen, recovers the Time Screen control and points it at Goldar, who instantly disappears. Zordon warns the Power Rangers that only a non-Ranger could penetrate Zedd's Otherworld undetected. Tommy volunteers, catches Zedd off guard and destroys the crystal. The Dark Rangers are stripped of their power and sent back to Earth. Tommy returns with the morphers, but Zordon reveals that the only way to defeat Turban Shell is to get inside and fill him with intense heat, followed by a blast of cool air. Tommy destroys Turban Shell, but he has now completely exhausted his powers and returns to being a civilian.

Jason is having trouble concentrating on an upcoming Karate tournament because he feels an overwhelming sense of guilt for Tommy's loss of powers and sets out to find Tommy at his Uncle's cabin. Now that Jason is elsewhere, Lord Zedd empowers Goldar's sword and captures the other Power Rangers, who are held in a cell of Zedd's Dimension of Doom. Jason, back at the Command Center, learns he must defeat PIPE BRAIN MONSTER (made from the Golden Pipe Tournament Trophy) before he can think about freeing the Power Rangers. He destroys PIPE BRAIN MONSTER, enters Zedd's Dimension of Doom and wins a fierce confrontation with Goldar. Jason restores the power of the Power Rangers. Following an inspirational message from Tommy on the viewing Globe at the command center, Jason goes on to win his Karate tournament.

When a gloomy Kimberly visits Madame Swampy (a gypsy with a crystal ball) for information about Tommy, she encounters Goldar and his minions. Goldar throws dust on Kimberly and kidnaps her. Lord Zedd uses Kimberly's mirror to create the MIRROR MANIAC MONSTER. While the Power Rangers are informed of Kimberly's disappearance, she is transformed into Goldar's evil queen. But as Billy and Zack arrive, we see she has been bluffing all along. The trio joins the others to battle MIRROR MONSTER. Jason (despite his weakened state) and the Power Rangers call on their Thunderzords, and with the Megathunderzord, defeat the MIRROR MONSTER.

Lord Zedd gets his hands on a treasured trumpet -- a family heirloom from Zack's Uncle Ed that Zack has lent to his cousin, Curtis. The Power Rangers listen and are spellbound. After Zedd creates TRUMPET TOP MONSTER, an imaginary attack on the Power Rangers begins with the FLEA, the OYSTERIZER and a line of other creatures. Later, the Power Rangers morph out into the park, and, after realizing the monsters are not real, go after TRUMPET TOP, which has grown in size. The Power Rangers defeat him, using their mighty Zord. Meantime, Uncle Ed's trumpet is retrieved and returned to Curtis. His concert is a success.

Kimberly brings news to celebrate -- Tommy will be coming home at week's end. With everything peaceful in Angel Grove, Alpha and Zordon shut down the power and enter a hidden chamber for their secret mission. Lord Zedd seizes the opportunity to attack the Power Rangers with his SCARLET SENTINEL, created from a statue in the park. The five Power Rangers spot the peculiar statue, but get no answer from Command Center. Billy takes a CD ROM from the Command Center back to his lab for analysis. The SCARLET SENTINEL attacks and the Power Rangers are forced to face him without the aid of the Command Center. Billy, discovering the Hidden Chamber from the CD ROM, slips in to the Command Center and walks in on an astonishing sight -- Zordon and Alpha are constructing a new Power Ranger!

The Power Rangers continue to battle the Nimrod. Billy advises they bail out, since he can't give them a power boost from the Command Center's computers. The Power Rangers do not take Billy's new Power Ranger revelation well, because they believe Tommy deserved to receive the new powers. Summoned by Alpha and Zordon to the Command Center, the White Ranger majestically descends down. And -- surprise -- the White Ranger is Tommy! The White Ranger has a WHITE TIGER ZORD and a talisman weapon called the Saba. His powers can never be taken away by evil forces. The Power Rangers, especially Kimberly, are ecstatic. The Power Rangers morph out, battle the SCARLET SENTINEL (which has now multiplied) and emerge victorious.

Kimberly and Tommy are walking in the park on their date, but Lord Zedd orders the Putties to fetch her purse. Zedd creates PURSELIPS from Kimberly's purse, and LIPSYNCHER from Trini's lipstick. The Pink and White Ranger are paralyzed by a ray shot out of PURSELIPS' compact, and, following a series of skirmishes, Billy, Trini and Alpha return to the Command Center to work on a device to counter the compact rays. Billy and Trini finish the device, which frees Tommy and Kimberly. Tommy must fight PURSELIPS by himself while the others help Jason. Tommy, engulfed by a gigantic dental floss, is freed with the help of Sabba. Tommy gives PURSELIPS a fierce kick which sends the monster crashing into a lamppost and is destroyed. The other Power Rangers hold out the LIPSYNCHER until Thunder Dragon Zord recovers. They form into Megathunderzord and destroy LIPSYNCHER with twirling Dragon Lance.

Billy shows Trini his latest invention, a magnetic polarizing gauge. Billy meets Kimberly's friend Laura and the two are smitten with each other although Billy is uncertain about asking her out. While Billy walks through the woods waiting for a magnetic storm, he is attacked by Putties and Goldar steals his machine. Lord Zedd creates MAGNET BRAIN MONSTER and commands it to destroy Earth's polarity, immediately wreaking havoc with Earth's gravitational pull. Zordon orders the White Ranger to help Laura, in danger from Goldar, while Billy is ordered to help Jason. They combine into Megathunderzord, which immediately destroys MAGNET BRAIN. Back at the Youth Center, Laura, who loves science, ask to see Billy's invention. Billy and Laura walk out together, to the grinning approval of the other Power Rangers.

The Power Teens are chaperoning the local kids as a help to the community on Halloween. But, unbeknownst to them, Tommy's group turns out to be putties in disguise! GOLDAR kidnaps Tommy and flings him into a haunted cave, filled with monsters of the past. Kimberly and Billy grow suspicious when Tommy doesn't return to the Youth Center and teleports to the Command Center. After ZORDON explains the situation, Kimberly and Billy rush to Tommy's aid. As soon as the Rangers can get away, they morph into action. The Rangers are forced to battle Zedd's most vicious creatures, but, with the help of their mighty Thunderzords, defeat Zedd once again.

Kimberly, Tommy and Billy are enjoying a day at the park when they hear about the big Ninja Tournament. Mr. Anderson, their teacher, has also brought his baby son to the park. The baby stroller rolls away and goes on a wild ride with the child. The Power Teens go after the stroller and are helped by three young rollerbladers, Rocky, Aisha, and Adam. Together, they are able to save the baby. At the Ninja competition, the victors are revealed to be Rocky, Aisha and Adam. Unfortunately, Zedd wants to recruit the champion Ninja to serve him. He sends Goldar to capture them and bring them to the DIMENSION OF DESPAIR. Can their new friends save them?

The Power Rangers are determined to help their friends, who are in Zedd's clutches. Zedd sends down TERROR BLOSSOM to distract the Rangers. Zordon gives them the power to "jet" or fly to their destinations. He sends Zack, Jason and Trini to fend off BLOSSOM, while Kimberly, Billy and Tommy are instructed to find the young Ninjas. When the BLOSSOM is joined by HATCHOSAURUS, all of the Rangers are needed to fight the monsters. They defeat HATCHOSAURUS with Thunder Megazord and White Tigerzord, but TERROR BLOSSOM freezes Jason, Trini and Zack. Meanwhile, at the Chamber of Despair, the SERPENT OF DARKNESS threatens to turn Adam, Rocky and Aisha to the evil side. The remaining Power Rangers have their work cut out for them.

Kimberly and Tommy reveal that they are Power Rangers also. Rocky, Adam and Aisha take a vow before Zordon, never to tell their secret.

The Youth Center is holding its first World Teen Summit, which Lord Zedd believes is his window of opportunity to steal the Power Rangers' Power Coins and capture the teen delegates for his own control. During a game of soccer in the park, they are attacked by Putties and Goldar, appearing to the teen delegates, intimidates and captures them. Zedd delivers a clear message via parachute: turn in the Power Coins or you'll never see the teen delegates again. Goldar receives the coins, but does not release the delegates. The joke, however, is on him, as the coins are cheap imitations. The Power Rangers morph, free the delegates and then in full force defeat the monster Zedd created from a four-headed peace statue.

At the Stone Canyon Triathlon, the Power Teens wonder what will happen to the Power Rangers should one of them be chosen for the World Peace Summit. Zedd's new scheme is a Mind Control Wave. He conjures up BEAMCASTER to take over the minds of unsuspecting Angel Grove. At the park, the Power Rangers try to defeat BEAMCASTER, but are caught under the MIND WAVE and become Zedd's Zombies as well. Aisha, Rocky and Adam are transported to the Control Center to help, and Aisha devises a frequency reverser which breaks BEAMCASTER's spell. The Rangers are free to destroy BEAMCASTER with their Power Weapons and free the minds of Angel Grove.

Jason, Zack and Trini are thrilled to learn they've been chosen for the World Peace Summit in Switzerland. Zordon informs the Power Teens that Zedd has completed SERPENTERRA, a machine of incredible destruction and will probably use it when the Rangers are separated. He is forced to choose three new Power Rangers to help battle Zedd. They must travel to the DESERTED PLANET to get the Sword of Light for the power transfer. Zordon shows them a new zord, "Tor," who can shield them for protection when needed. Meanwhile, Putties have captured Rocky, Adam and Aisha. Zedd displays the awesome destructive powers of his new weapon and begins destroying the planet as the Power Rangers are about to retrieve the Sword.

The Rangers are able to escape with the SWORD OF LIGHT before being caught up in SERPENTERRA'S destructive rampage. At the Command Center, Jason, Trini and Zack are saddened to end their lives as Power Rangers but know that they will continue to help the world as Teenage Peace Ambassadors. Rocky, Adam and Aisha are revealed as the new Power Rangers. The Power Transfer takes place and a bittersweet farewell is bade to the old Rangers. The new team must immediately battle the SILVER HORNS MONSTER. The Red Ranger Zord fights SILVER HORNS MONSTER while the others face SERPENTERRA, which, luckily, runs out of energy. SILVER HORNS is made giant by Zedd and fights the White Tigerzord, the Shuttlezord and Red Dragonzord. SILVER HORNS bites the dust. The new Rangers are excited over their first victory but know that new dangers await.

Adam, depressed he's lost his chance to meet with Sarah Chang, meets SABRINA, an attractive martial arts expert. Adam is quite taken by her, and she with him. Aisha, on the other hand, senses something strange, and tells Adam about her reservations. Adam invites Aisha to go hiking with them so she can get to know Sabrina better. While on the hiking trail, Goldar and the Putties appear out of nowhere and tie Adam and Aisha to a tree with electronic ropes. Sabrina reveals herself to be SCORPINA. Back at the Youth Center, Kimberly, Billy and Tommy sense there's something wrong. At the Command Center, Zordon confirms their suspicions, they morph out to face Goldar and Scorpina and they win once again. At the dance, Adam shows up alone, so does Sarah Chang, and the rest...is history.

With the MIRROR OF REGRET, Zedd uses Adam's childhood memory as the weakest kid in class against him. Adam is at the park showing additional moves to Sean, a diminutive 10-year-old karate student. After they are done practicing, Goldar and the Putties show up with the mirror. Adam tries to resist but the images are too overwhelming. Zedd creates SKELEREENA, a laughing Hyena from a picture in Sean's book. Adam must recover his own confidence to save himself, but SKELEREENA must be dealt with first. The Rangers fight a difficult battle with SKELEREENA and can't defeat it. Adam sees Sean's image in the Mirror practicing his Karate moves and regains his confidence, causing the Mirror to dissolve. Alpha has prepared a new weapon, THE POWER CANNON, and with Adam's help, SKELEREENA is destroyed in a blast of sparks.

Zedd uses Adam's kaleidoscope to make SCATTERBRAIN MONSTER, which leaves the Rangers minus their memories. The Power Rangers take prisms to the park to counteract SCATTERBRAIN, which is terrorizing the town. When all seems lost, Bulk and Skull jump out from behind the bushes, grab the prisms and taunt the SCATTERBRAIN MONSTER until it fires a ray towards them. Bulk and Skull pull their prisms from behind their backs but at the last second, they run. The ray hits the prisms and the deflecting light showers the Rangers, causing their images to break up, reassemble, and return to normal. The Rangers call on Ultra Megazord and they defeat the monster. The Rangers are grateful to Bulk and Skull for saving their lives. Fortunately, Bulk and Skull have no recollection of the event.

Zedd casts a spell on Rocky under which all Rocky wants to do is have fun. Rocky will not pull himself from the Pachinko Machine, from which Zedd creates a monster, PACHINKO HEAD. The monster shoots a ray which turns Billy, Aisha and Kimberly into giant Pachinko Balls with a picture of each captured Ranger on them. Tommy gathers all the Pachinko'd Power Rangers, and, one by one, Alpha returns them to normal. Tommy faces the Monster alone, but PACHINKO HEAD wants to have fun first, so Zedd attacks SERPENTERRA. Zedd destroys PACHINKO HEAD for making his work into a game. The Rangers battle SERPENTERRA in the Ultrazord, then seek refuge in their "Turtle Zord." Zedd tries to crush the Zord but drains his energy and his auxiliary power. He only has enough energy left to withdraw.

Zedd sees an opportunity to send his own evil message when the Power Rangers appear on Harvey Garvey's talk show. He creates SHOW BIZ MONSTER, which attacks the city. Zordon asks Alpha to summon the Rangers even if they are on national TV. The Rangers morph into the city and battle the Putties, who are directed by SHOW BIZ MONSTER. Zedd sends Goldar down and Tommy handles him with the help of Saba. A frustrated Zedd calls on the Monster to grow, but, with the help of the Megazord, the Rangers are again victorious. Back in the classroom, Mrs. Appelby reads a faxed message from Switzerland from former Power Rangers Jason, Trini and Zack. "Education is perhaps the single most important stepping stone to worldwide peace. We miss you all.

It's Fire Safety Week and Aisha is chosen to be Fire Safety Captain. This inspires Zedd to create FLAME HEAD MONSTER to burn down Angel Grove. This creature wreaks havoc, throwing fireballs and drying up riverbeds. As Fire Safety Captain, Aisha thinks it's her responsibility to defeat this menace. When the Teens morph to fight the monster, she tries to take him on herself. Zordon teleports them back and tells Aisha the importance of working as a team. When they return to fight, Zedd makes the monster grow. However, he is no match for the Megazord. Aisha has learned a valuable lesson and Angel Grove is saved again.

Zedd wants to get his hands on BLUE LIGHTNING DIAMOND to power SERPENTERRA, which would make it invincible. The teens transport to the Control Center where Zordon tells them that the small and friendly hibernating creature inside it is from another planet. The teens vow to help him find his way home. They plan to create a decoy Bookala to trick Zedd, but Zedd sends in the WELDO MONSTER, which the teens morph and fight. Blue Ranger blasts WELDO. Goldar comes down to get BLUE DIAMOND MONSTER himself but confiscates a fake diamond instead. Zordon sends Bookala home with Zedd temporarily diverted. The teens are sad to lose their little friend. Zedd, furious the diamond is a fraud and SERPENTERRA is again powerless, creates BOOKALA MONSTER, but it can't stand up to the Mega Thunderzord.

Zedd kidnaps Kimberly and Shwana, Aisha's old friend, to upset Aisha and render her useless. He sends down the huge JAWS OF DESTRUCTION to finish off the other Rangers. White Ranger arrives and frees Shwana and teleports her out of danger, but is met by Goldar before he can free Kimberly. She morphs to help White Ranger and then jets to help the others fight JAWS OF DESTRUCTION. Together they form the mighty Mega Thunderzord and wipe out JAWS. White Ranger defeats Goldar, who gets chewed out by Zedd. Shwana and Kimberly, who'd earlier realized they had a lot in common, finish tied in the Inner City gymnastic competition and are happy to have become friends.

When Rocky, a volunteer lifeguard, tells young Dougie that there are no monsters in the water, Zedd (with help from Skeketar) brings back the underwater monsters. The SHARK MONSTER appears first to fight Red, Blue and Yellow Rangers. PIANTIS HEAD, GOO FISH and CRAYFISH are deployed into battle. Alpha is finally able to reach Kimberly, Adam, and Tommy. They morph and join the fight. Zedd creates TUBE MONSTER to destroy Downtown. Tommy creates the fish monsters with the Saba, while the other Rangers defeat TUBE MONSTER with the Thunder Megazord. Zedd's plan has floundered again. Dougie conquers his fear of water, thanks to the Power Rangers.

The gang is assigned to bring pictures of themselves as children to class. Zedd gets the idea to call on the ROCK OF TIME, with which he is able to spin the Earth backwards and turn them into children. He sends down putties to get them, but the feisty kids are too much for the creatures. Zedd decides to send down the PHOTOMARE MONSTER, which snaps a picture of the kids, and traps them within the photo. Will they be trapped forever?

Young BULK and SKULL retrieve the photo in which the Power Rangers are frozen in time as children. Goldar, sent down to get the photo, is thwarted by Alpha, who arrives just in time to zap him and PHOTOMARE with a stun scanner. Alpha gets the photo back and zaps it with his MOLECULAR SCANNER. The Young Rangers are brought back to life and are dazed when Alpha tries to explain their situation to them. Meanwhile, the stun effect wears off of Goldar and PHOTOMARE. Alpha changes the Power Kids back into the Power Teens. They morph and go to fight the monsters. Tommy takes on Goldar. Zedd makes the PHOTOMARE grow, and is fought by Thundermegazord. Zedd uses the Rock of Time to summon monsters of the past to join the fight. The Rangers use the POWER CANNON to destroy the ROCK OF TIME, and Zedd is foiled again.

Mr. Kaplan announces to the class that Angel Grove High School has been chosen as teen exchange speakers to represent the United States in Australia. But the diabolical Rita Repulsa, who has escaped from her space dumpster, has big plans for both Zedd and the Power Rangers. With Finster's help, she creates a love potion to make Zedd fall madly in love with her. Next, she reprograms Alpha, who silences Zordon and lures the Rangers into an abandoned theatre, where they are confronted by several of Rita's monsters. Things look bleak as Zedd is administered the love potion and the Rangers are up to their necks in monsters.

While the Power Rangers are busy fighting off a roomful of monsters, Zedd opens his eyes to the most beautiful creature he's ever seen: Rita! When the Rangers manage to outsmart the monsters and escape the theatre again, Rita and Zedd order their wedding guests to wage all-out war on the Rangers. The Rangers reach Command Center, but are surprised to discover that Evil Alpha has shut Zordon down. Billy reprograms Alpha and the Rangers regain their powers just in time to conquer the army of monsters. For Rita and Zedd, the honeymoon is indeed over.

Lord Zedd and Rita, resolving to get rid of the White Ranger once and for all, solicit advice from the Ghost of Darkness. The Ghost tells Rita to call on the Wizard of Deception in order to create a foe capable of destroying the White Ranger. Taking a lock of Tommy's hair, the Wizard recreates the Evil Green Ranger and the "evil Tommy" tricks the other teens into meeting him at the outskirts of town. Phase two of Rita and Zedd's plan is then implemented: The Rangers are sent back in time to 1774, where they are mistaken for witches and chased by the townspeople. With his friends unable to help him, Tommy must confront the Evil Green Ranger alone.

Still in 1774 and hiding from solders, a girl named Marissa helps the Rangers flee. Tommy is forced into a confrontation, causing the White Ranger to battle the Green Ranger. The Wizard of Deception helps the Green Ranger win and instructs him to retrieve the Dragon Dagger. The Wizard also creates more trouble for the teens: giant rats join in the chase after the Rangers. When they discover that they are unable to morph, the Rangers are helpless, while the Evil Green Ranger summons the Dragon Zord to destroy the White Ranger -- and the world.

Tommy has no choice but to call on the White Tigerzord to stop the Dragon Zord's destructive rampage. The Zords clash, but the Dragon Zord is too powerful for the Tigerzord alone. The White Ranger captures the Wizard of Deception's wand, saves his friends from the giant rats and brings them back to the present. They all morph and call on the Mega Thunderzord to help battle the Dragonzord. The White Ranger destroys the Wizard of Deception and confronts his evil counterpart. The White Ranger does not destroy the Green Ranger, realizing that it is a part of him. Together, they go back and defeat the rats. The duplicate "Tommy" decides to stay in the past and work on the side of good while the Dragonzord returns to the sea.

At the school Book Fair, Kimberly recognizes a book of fairy tales from her childhood. Rita decides to trap Kimberly, Tommy and Rocky inside the book forever. There, they meet Grumble the Elf, a character in the story who must return some toys to the orphans in order to break the spell placed on him by Mondo the Magician. Zedd realizes that if Grumble doesn't deliver the toys, the story will not end. Zedd captures the toys, leaving the teens and Grumble to find a different end to the story. They go back in the story to search for Mondo in hopes he will lift the spell on Grumble. Meanwhile, Bulk and Skull try to build their own monster, but unwittingly use a cookbook as an instruction book.

Tommy, Kimberly and Rocky escape the Snow Monster, but now must face Mondo the Magician before they can get out of the story book. Aisha, Adam and Billy frantically search for the book at the book fair, but are deployed to fight the Turkey Jerk monster, Bulk and Skull's creation brought to life by Rita and Zedd. They destroy the Turkey Jerk with the Power Cannon. Mondo refuses to lift the spell on Grumble. The other teens find the storybook and Aisha draws some toys into the book. When Grumble gives the toys to the orphans, the spell is lifted and the Rangers escape. Rita and Zedd unleash a giant Mondo on Angel Grove, but fortunately he is no match for the Thunder Megazord.

In art class, Tommy has a hard time making his sculpture look like anything but a blob. Violet, a shy girl in class, shows her affection for Billy by sculpting a realistic statue of him. Rita and Zedd capture the statue and bring it to life, creating an evil version of Billy to infiltrate the Power Rangers. Billy is kidnapped by Goldar and brought to Dark Dimension, while the Evil Billy steals the other teen's morphers and communicators. Billy is able to escape the Dark Dimension and the impostor is revealed as a fraud. Billy defeats the Evil Blue Ranger. Rita and Zedd turn Tommy's sculpture into the Vase Face monster who is ultimately destroyed by the Thunder Megazord.

When Kimberly and Tommy run for class president, Rita and Zedd see this as the perfect chance to break up the Power Rangers. They put a spell on Tommy and Kimberly, turning their friendly competition into an all out mud slinging war, which breaks up the teamwork of the Rangers. Rita seizes this chance to steal Saba away from Tommy and gain control of the Tigerzord. The Megazord is forced to battle the Tigerzord until Zordon is able to break the spell over Kimberly and Tommy, with Alpha devising a magnet to get Saba back. Kimberly is elected when Tommy, realizing she will do a better job as president, gives her his support.

Tommy gives Kimberly a cactus for her garden. When Rita and Zedd steal the plant, the Rangers teleport to the Command Center to find out why. On the way Kimberly is propelled into a time hole and ends up Angel Grove, circa 1800, where she meets the great, great grandparents of the Rangers. Rita and Zedd create the Needle Nose Monster out of Kimberly's cactus and decide to send it back to the Old West in order to destroy Earth in the time before the Rangers existed. The Rangers are unable to stop Goldar, Needle Nose and the Putties from breaking through the time hole and threatening Kimberly and the world.

The ancestors of the Rangers are in deep trouble as Goldar, Needle Nose and the Putties wreak havoc in "Old West Angel Grove." She recruits the great, great grandparents of the Rangers to help her in the fight. They accept and morph into the "Wild West Rangers." Together, they fight their foes and send Needle Nose through the time hole to the present, where he's defeated by the Thunder Megazord and Tigerzord. Billy figures out a way to get Kimberly back to the present while the "Wild West Rangers" marvel at their new power.

Rita and Zedd receive a surprise visit from Rita's stupid brother, Rito Revolto. Rito gives the couple a belated wedding gift of Tenga Warrior eggs. Together they plot the ultimate demise of the Power Rangers. Rito assembles an army of monsters consisting of STAG BEETLE, the FLEA, OCTOPHANTOM and LIZZERNATOR. They ambush the Rangers and the ensuing battle is devastating to the Megazord and Tigerzord. To the horror of the Rangers, the Zords are defeated, their powers are gone and the Command Center is destroyed.

On a dangerous trek through the Desert of Despair they are attacked by Tenga Warriors and have to escape into a cave. There, Tommy disappears into a power vortex and the Rangers realize they have no other choice but to search for him.

When Kimberly's mother decides to remarry an artist and move to France, Kimberly is torn between her family and her commitment to the Power Rangers. She has a nightmare about her mother's fiancée in which he becomes a weird French mole monster. Finster invents a device that allows Rita and Zedd to spy on Kimberly's dream and make the monster a reality. The ARTISIMOLE comes to life and terrorizes Angel Grove, draining the color out of the town with his powerful palette. The other Rangers fall victim to the monster, and are also drained of their colors and power. Zordon tells Kimberly that she has to face her fears of the future and she courageously fights the Artismole, defeating the monster and freeing her friends. Kimberly decides to move in with Aisha and her parents until the end of the school year.

Alpha is concerned about the troubling events on his home planet, Edenoi. The Rangers decide to go and investigate the welfare of the planet and also report on Alpha's creator, Lexian. Kimberly has the flu and is unable to go, but the others teleport to the distant planet only to find it under attack by the evil COUNT DREGON. There they encounter four native Edenoites led by the courageous Dex. At first the Edenoites are mistrusting of the Rangers and confront them as enemies. Dex morphs into his secret identity, the Masked Rider, an insect-like superhero of incredible strength. When the Edenoites realize that the Rangers are not foes, they band together against Count Dregon and escape into a cave as he launches an air attack.

Unsuccessful with his air attack, Count Dregon sends the PLAGUE SOLDIERS and the COGWORTS to destroy both the Rangers and the Masked Rider. Working together, they prove to be a match for Dregon's forces. Seeing that the Rangers are occupied, Rita and Zedd send Repelletor down to Earth. With the Rangers away, Kimberly is called back into action to take on the Repelletor alone, but having the flu has affected her abilities.

Alpha contacts the Rangers and tells them that they are needed on Earth. The Rangers and the Masked Rider finish off the villains. Before the Rangers leave, a grateful Dex conveys the greetings and concerns of his leader, Alpha, to Lexian . The Rangers teleport back to Earth, under the attack of Count Dregon's Spider Ship. They arrive back on Earth just in time to form the Thunder Megazord and Tigerzord and save the world from REPELLETOR.

Adam is given an ancient lantern with a cryptic inscription as a family heirloom. He takes it to Billy's friend, the wise gardener, Ko, to help translate it. Ko translates the inscription and tells them that the lantern is very powerful. Upon hearing this, Rita and Zedd decide that they want the lantern's power for themselves and send Squatt, Baboo and Rito to confiscate it. The bumbling minions gather many lanterns, not knowing which is the right one. Rita is very upset and changes one of the lanterns into LANTERRA, a horrible monster. When the monster threatens the Rangers, Adam is reluctant to fight it, not wanting to destroy his heirloom. He then realizes that the inscription means that the power lies within himself, not in material objects.

Rocky is not happy that he has been chosen to participate in the "Teacher for a Day" program and must change places with Mr. Wilton, the hard-nosed science teacher. While Rocky teaches science class, Mr. Wilton tries to fit in as a teenager. Both sides of the experiment prove disastrous. Rito and Zedd decide to get involved and turn Mr. Wilton into "MARVO THE MEANIE," a horrible monster. The teens morph into action, trying to subdue their teacher. "Marvo the Meanie" liquidates all of the Rangers except for Rocky. Rocky takes the liquidated Rangers back to the Command Center and uses his experience as a science teacher to return them to human form. Rito and Zedd enlarge Marvo, but the Rangers call on the Ninja Megafalconzord to defeat Marvo and restore Mr. Wilton to normal.

Everyone is excited that Rocky's Uncle Joe, the famous quarterback, is speaking at the high school. Most excited is Allen, who plays football for Angel Grove, but has constant problems in class with numbers and letters. Back on the Moon, Rita and Zedd create the CENTIBACK monster who can change people into footballs. They send the monster to Earth and the monster transforms Bulk, Skull, Uncle Joe and all of the Rangers except Rocky into footballs. Rocky retreats to the Command Center and he and Alpha create a devise that can reverse the energy fields. Rocky solicits Ninjor's help and together they face the Centiback. The device works and the others are returned to their normal state. The Centiback grows, but is no match for the Ninja Megafalconzord and Ninjor. Allen is diagnosed with dyslexia and gets the help he needs to overcome his learning disability and stays on the team.

The Power Teens are assigned to go to the local museum and study the ancient culture of Kahmala. One of the exhibits is the legendary Kahmalan Face Stealer which is trapped inside an urn. When Rita discovers this, she sends her minions to capture the urn and free the monster to do her dirty work. FACE STEALER is sent down to Earth and steals the faces of Bulk and Skull, leaving them faceless zombies. When the Rangers go to help, Face Stealer also gets Adam and Aisha's faces. The desperate Rangers remember that the Face Stealer was defeated by ancient masks that were part of the exhibit. They get the masks and are able to use them to reflect Face Stealer's beam back to him, freeing the faces of their friends. When Rita and Zedd make the monster grow, the Rangers call on the Ninja Megafalconzord and defeat the monster.

Aisha's feelings are hurt when she is not accepted into the Angel Girls, an exclusive club at school. Aisha is visited by her grandmother who makes her realize that she has to be strong and not listen to small minded people. She gives Aisha a ruby necklace to remind her to love. Meanwhile, Rita and Zedd have created anew monster, "THE HATE MASTER," and sent it to Earth to casts its spell on all of the Rangers but Aisha. The spell is temporarily broken and they battle the huge Hate Master with the Ninja Megafalconzord. Once again, Hate Master casts his spell, and Aisha is unaffected due to her ruby necklace. The Rangers turn against one another and decide that they don't want to listen to Zordon anymore. They bail out of their Zords and inform Zordon that they are quitting the Power Rangers.

While Aisha is being analyzed at the Command Center, the other Power Rangers continue to be under the Hate Master's powerful spell of hate. Billy decides to cut off the power in the Command Center leaving Aisha stranded. She figures out a way to get out of the Command Center and leaves the necklace with Alpha. When Aisha confronts the Hate Master, he tries to get her under his control again, but remembering her grandmother's advice, she is able to resist the spell. Later, Aisha goes to the Youth Center where she finds the others fighting amongst themselves and delivers a stirring speech about their friendship which breaks the spell. Zedd and Rita make the Hate Master grow, but it's defeated by the Ninja Ultrazord.

Rito decides to have a little fun when Zedd and Rita take a second honeymoon in Serpenterra. He sends the MISS CHIEF monster to Earth with the love potion that Rita used on Zedd. Miss Chief plays cupid with the humans, creating pandemonium at Angel Grove High. Kimberly falls in love with Skull, Bulk falls for Aisha, and both Lt. Stone and Mr. Kaplan fall for Miss Applebee. The Rangers realize that something is wrong and bring Kim to the Command Center to be analyzed where they discover she is under the spell of a love potion. Goldar finds out about Rito's escapades and orders Finster down to earth with an antidote. The Rangers defeat Miss Chief with Ninja Megazord. When the antidote is used on Lord Zedd, it has no effect. He really does love Rita!

Everyone is having a great time getting ready for the Angel Grove Holiday Pageant, but Kimberly is sad because she misses her mother. Zordon contacts the Rangers with distressing news: Rita and Zedd have sent Rito and Goldar to the North Pole to force Santa and the elves to manufacture an evil toy. Alpha tells them that they will be without their powers and teleports them. They are forced to confront the monsters with a giant snowball fight. Using their brains, they are able to thwart the evil efforts and save Christmas, sending the monsters back to the moon in defeat. Kimberly's mother surprises by coming for a Christmas visit after all.

Aisha volunteers at an animal shelter and on the way home, she and Kimberly find a stray cat in the park, unaware that it has been planted there by Rita. A mysterious girl, Katherine, shows up in Angel Grove where it is revealed that she has been put under a spell by Rita, and can be turned into the cat at Rita's will. Katherine lures Tommy into a trap by pretending that her car isn't working. When Tommy offers to help her, Zedd and Rita zap the car into a dark dimension and they also send Rito to keep the other Rangers busy. When the Rangers locate Tommy in the Viewing Globe, Zedd and Rita send Rito down to grow and threaten the city. The Rangers face a difficult choice: save Tommy, or stop Rito's destructive rampage.

Katherine leaves Tommy unconscious in the dark dimension. The Rangers decide that they must stop Rito and use the Ninja Megazord to send him running. Rita and Zedd send down Goldar to battle Tommy. Billy struggles to come up with a device to get Tommy out. Tommy morphs and the White Ranger does his best to fend off Goldar and Rito. It looks like it is the end, but then Billy is able to teleport Tommy out just before the final blow is stricken. Zedd and Rita turn Katherine into the CAT MONSTER and the Rangers call on the Ninja Megafalconzord to defeat it, returning Katherine to her human form. The Rangers didn't know it, but Katherine remains under Rita's spell.

Zedd and Rita discover a set of dormant Zords and endeavor to activate them for evil purposes. They use Katherine in their plot and order her to steal Kimberly's Power Coin. Katherine does so and it drains Kimberly of her energy. Goldar lures White Ranger and Ninjor into battle and captures Ninjor. Katherine then uses the Power Coin to get inside the Falconzord and capture it. With Ninjor for the power source and the Falconzord technology in their possession, Zedd and Rita are close to getting the evil Zords in action.

Kimberly continues to weaken from the loss of her Power Coin. Zedd and Rita decide that the Power Rangers themselves should pilot their evil Zords and destroy Angel Grove. They send the INCISORATOR to battle the Rangers while Katherine lures Kimberly into a trap. Kim is captured and held in the dark dimension. Zedd appears in the Command Center and presents the Rangers with an ultimatum: pilot his Zords or risk harm coming to Kimberly.

The Rangers agree to pilot Zedd's Zords in order to buy time to rescue Kimberly. They set up the Portalcom and Tommy goes in after her. When Zedd discovers this, he appears in the dark dimension to square off with the White Ranger. Rita sends down the SEE MONSTER to occupy the other Rangers. She then summons the new Zords and orders the Rangers to pilot them. The White Ranger is able to get away from Zedd and rescue Kimberly. Billy figures out a way to rewire the Zords and the Power Rangers gain possession of them. Rita and Zedd are furious and make the See Monster grow. The Shogun Megazord defeats the See Monster and the Rangers decide to use them until they are able to regain the Falconzord. Although it is determined that Kimberly will no longer be in physical danger, there can be no Pink Ranger while the Power Coin remains in Zedd and Rita's possession.

Kimberly discovers that a famous gymnastics coach is in town and wants to meet him. Rita and Zedd decide that it would be a good opportunity to get Kim while she is without her powers. Thanks to Bulk and Skull, Kim's car is stolen. When Bulk, Skull and Kim take a cab to chase the thief, the taxi is turned into the CRABBIE CABBIE monster and the trio is taken on a wild ride through the city. Meanwhile, Katherine flashes back to before she was under Rita's evil thumb. She tries to break free of the spell, but Rita zaps her with more evil energy. Zordon tells the Rangers that they will need special vehicles to combat this monster and bestows them with the Shark Cycles, incredible motorcycles with powerful shark-like capabilities. The Rangers pursue the Crabbie Cabbie with the Shark Cycles and Alpha is able to extract Bulk, Skull and Kim from the monster. When the Crabbie Cabbie grows, the Rangers call on the Shogun Megazord and defeat the monster to the disappointment of Rita and Zedd.

Katherine rushes Kim to the hospital. She confesses her past and Kim understands that it was not Katherine's fault. She was under Rita and Zedd's horrible spell. Rita and Zedd are angry at the loss of their pawn, and send the GARBAGE MOUTH monster down to capture Katherine. The Rangers call on the Shogunzords and defeat the monster. Enraged even further, Rita and Zedd threaten to toss Ninjor into the Sea of Sorrow, unless the Rangers hand Katherine over to them at once.

Katherine offers to use herself as bait in a plan that the Rangers hope will recover Ninjor. The plan goes awry and Katherine is captured and placed in Rita and Zedd's dungeon. The Rangers struggle in vain for a way to teleport her out. While Rito is guarding her, she sees the Pink Power Coin and tricks Rito into falling asleep then steals it. With the coin in the hands of someone good, the Rangers are able to teleport her away from harm and into the Command Center. Although Kim wants to compete in the Pan Global Games, she is reluctant to leave the Power Rangers. Zordon and the others convince her that she should not pass up this opportunity of a lifetime. She tearfully decides to pursue her dream of being a world class gymnast and suggests Katherine as her replacement. Katherine humbly accepts the challenge to be the new Pink Ranger.

Rita has a new scheme to destroy the White Ranger from the inside out. Finster creates the RAVENATOR, and Rita sends him into Tommy's stomach via his food, making him ravenous for junk food. When the other Rangers seeTommy uncontrollably scarfing down unhealthy food, they are stunned. Zordon is consulted who tells them of the Ravenator and regretfully states that he cannot teleport Tommy into the Command Center with one of Zedd and Rita's monsters inside of him. Aisha comes up with an idea. They bring a huge sundae to Tommy and immediately the monster demands that Tommy eats the entire sundae. Tommy uses incredible will power and resists the orders of the Ravenator. The monster comes out to get the treat himself, and when Rita and Zedd make him grow, he is defeated by the Shogun Megazord.

Katherine is working on the Humanitarian Housing Project and the gang volunteers to help. Rita is still mad that Katherine has switched teams and vows to get even. She shoots an evil energy bolt towards Katherine, but Kat is able to elude it. The bolt hits a wall that is being worked on and it is transformed into the BRICK BULLY monster. The Brick Bully changes all of the Rangers except Kat and Billy into bricks. Kat and Billy bring the brick Rangers to the Command Center and try to figure out a way to transform them back. When Rita and Zedd make the Brick Bully grow, Billy calls on the Blue Shogunzord and destroys it. Katherine and Alpha devise a pollution simulator and erode the bricks, restoring the Rangers.

Katherine and Aisha are using Kelly, an adorable chimpanzee, for a class project. Rita and Zedd set their sights on Kelly, and they send Finster down to try to change her into a monster that will destroy the Rangers. Finster is unsuccessful, so Zedd decides he must do it himself. Kelly is then changed into the SINISTER SIMIAN. As Zedd planned, the Rangers are reluctant to fight the creature for fear of hurting Kelly. Billy gets a hair sample from the Sinister Simian in order to analyze and develop a formula to change her back. Rita and Zedd make the creature grow and unleash it on the city. The Rangers call on their Shogunzords and Billy is able to administer the formula through a projectile. Kelly is returned to normal, unharmed. Rita and Zedd's plans are foiled again.

While the teens are out riding horses, the Earth is shaken by an unknown presence. On the Moon, the disturbance is revealed to be the arrival of Master Vile, Rita's father and an incredibly evil being. Master Vile has big plans on how to do what Rita and Zedd have failed so many times: destroy the Power Rangers and Earth. Zordon presents the Rangers with the Metallic Armor to help ward off this new danger. Ninjor manages to escape from the palace and tells the Rangers and Zordon of Master Vile's plan to procure the ZEO Crystal, the source of the Rangers' power, and gain it's supreme force for his own. The Crystal is in the Caves of Deception under the palace, but is guarded by a force field which no evil can penetrate. Master Vile creates the GLOBBOR monster, a creature capable of absorbing it's opponent's energy. Billy devises a remote control which enables the Rangers to use both the Shogun Megazord and Ninja Megazord. Tommy and Katherine volunteer to go to the Moon and get the Crystal while the others are deployed to fight the Globbor. Katherine has a plan of her own and tells Rita and Zedd that she wants to be evil again in an attempt to divert them while Tommy tries to get the Crystal.

The Rangers continue to fight the Globbor with the Ninja Megazord and Shogun Megazord. Rita and Zedd put Katherine in the Evil Revivifier to make sure that she will stay evil forever. Tommy ventures through the Caves of Deception in search of the ZEO Crystal. There he encounters several illusions such as the Green Ranger and Zordon, which attempt to divert him from his mission. Tommy is able to get through the force field and get the Crystal. Tommy rushes to rescue Katherine and together they recapture the Falconzord. Katherine and Tommy join the battle against Globbor who has absorbed Ninjor's powers and become incredibly strong. The monster absorbs the energy of the Shogun Megazord and Ninja Megafalconzord. Master Vile sends the Zords to his planet along with the ZEO Crystal inside the Falconzord. The Rangers are left drained of their energy. The evil crew decides to celebrate their victory with a party on Earth, as the Rangers helplessly look on.

Master Vile and his clan are living it up on Earth in an evil victory party. The Rangers decide they must go to Master Vile's planet and recapture the Zords and the ZEO Crystal. They teleport to the planet and climb up inside the Ninja Megafalconzord. They use their Power Coins to activate the ZEO Crystal and become fully re-energized. When Master Vile discovers the Rangers have returned, he sends the Globbor out to battle them again. After a tremendous fight, the Megazords are ultimately victorious. An enraged Master Vile demands the Crystal from the Rangers and threatens to destroy them himself. The Rangers deploy the Metallic Armor and send Master Vile away in defeat. They realize that Master Vile will not rest until he gets the Crystal, so they decide to dismantle the Crystal and scatter the pieces over the Earth. Master Vile reveals that he has another plan to defeat the Rangers.

Katherine and Aisha decide to enter the school song competition. This gives Zedd the idea to call on his old friend, DISCHORDIA, an evil creature with a powerful voice. Master Vile wants to get in the act and instructs Dischordia of the plan. Dischordia confronts the Pink and Yellow Rangers and gains control over their bodies with her voice. She is just about to force them to hand over their Power Coins when they deploy the Metallic Armor. The Armor deflects Dischordia's voice and her spell is broken. Rita and Zedd make her grow and the Rangers call on the Ninja Megazord, the Shogun Megazord and the Falconzord to battle the creature. Dischordia is vanquished and the girls win the song contest.

The gang decides to surprise Katherine on her birthday by taking her to a carnival. Meanwhile, Master Vile is ready to implement his ultimate plan: to turn the world back in time, leaving the Power Rangers as powerless children. He intends to use the Orb of Doom to enact his plan. He sends Rito down to plant the Orb in the correct spot. When the Power Rangers learn this, they struggle to prevent Rito from doing so. Unfortunately, they are unable to stop him and Rito plants the Orb of Doom at the proper coordinates. As Master Vile chants his wicked incantation, the world starts to spin backward on it's axis. The Rangers are changed back into children and left helpless. Rita, Zedd, Goldar and Rito grow huge and wreak havoc on a Power Rangerless Angel Grove. It looks like the evil forces have finally won.
