  • Shortly after Terra Venture had been cast into the Lost Galaxy, Stanton and Mike apparently had a shared hallucination in which a ghostly image of an older man, apparently some sort of commander, with long white hair and a beard, told them, "Time is short. You must turn and leave this wretched hive before it is too late," adding that the way to get out was, "The same way you entered: Never look back, lest you vanish without a trace."
  • After Titanisaur had surfaced on Captain Mutiny's planet and had shed its stone covering with Mutiny's castle on its back, it flew into space, and Mutiny rowed through space to Terra Venture.
  • Boarding Terra Venture, Mutiny exclaimed to himself that it was the biggest ship yet.
  • When Stanton told him Terra Venture had been caught up in an energy storm, Mutiny laughed, saying it was always the same story; every hundred years or so, he said, a spaceship ended up in the Lost Galaxy, but whether Mutiny was being truthful is dubious.
  • On Mutiny's home planet, over a rocky ledge overlooking a desert plain, the teens found a large scene of slaves and small spacecraft parts everywhere.
  • Mutiny asked Barbarax whether they'd mined much treasure today, but Barbarax said they were far behind schedule, as the slaves were too worn out.
  • Many slaves in various types of black and brown outfits were mining for gems and gold amidst all the spacecraft parts while others wheeled large boulders away; nearby lay a dark skeleton in a black shirt with a dingy, tattered gray jacket with a triangular badge.
  • The teens realized Captain Mutiny captured spaceships and forced the crews to mine his treasures.
  • A slave with long black hair and a beard, his hands shackled, looked up and saw the five teens watching, then held up his shackles and cried out for their help; Damon started to go down, but Leo grabbed him, as they had to stop the crate delivery from reaching Terra Venture.
  • As the teens painfully ran away, a Swabbie dragged the crying slave to the ground, and Mutiny had Barbarax send Rocketron, who was supposedly undefeated.
  • After the morphed Rangers had beaten a squadron of Swabbies in a forest, Red Ranger used the Red Capsular Cycle, making the monster grow, and he was then confronted in the desert by the Galaxy Megazord.
  • Giant Rocketron was startled when the Galaxy Megazord kept coming despite his energy blasts.
  • Rocketron was surprisingly weak against the Rangers for a supposedly undefeated monster, suggesting a lack of any serious resistance to Mutiny's forces in the Lost Galaxy.
  • When Rocketron grappled the Megazord and initiated his self-destruct mode, the agile Stratoforce Megazord arrived and fought him, allowing the Galaxy Megazord to destroy the monster with its saber.

    737-GOTL

  • Following Grunchor's release on Terra Venture, the Rangers told Stanton of the "thousands" of slaves they'd seen, though it seems that this must have been exaggeration.
  • In the slave camp with Barbarax and Deviot after Grunchor's destruction, Mutiny told his generals he needed far more slaves to dig for his treasure; Barbarax promised to get them, and Mutiny threatened for Barbarax to be digging beside them if he failed.
  • Mutiny's planet vanished from sight, alarming the people of Terra Venture.

    738-USun

  • On Mutiny's planet, wherever it had gone, Leo and Damon were captured and chained to a wooden structure in the desert with a Mutiny flag on it, apparently somewhere near a slave camp.

    741-RTit

  • Titanisaur was unleashed on Terra Venture in an attempt to enslave the Rangers and colony citizens, but the monster was destroyed.

    742-EsLG

  • Later the same day as Titanisaur's attack, Barbarax attacked a plaza on Terra Venture, saying Captain Mutiny needed new slaves.
  • Now holding a small barrel bearing Mutiny's white symbol, Barbarax pulled off the lid for their first batch, and greenish-blue slime-like material flew out, wrapped around a group of people, and sucked them inside the barrel, which he shut.
  • Rowing away, Barbarax laughed that he'd be back for more.
  • Mike said this was crazy, and they had to find a way to stop him.
  • Later, Swabbies raided a building, and Barbarax captured more citizens, along with GSA officer Mike Corbett, into his bucket and rowed off, saying that was plenty for now.
  • At the slave camp, Deviot stood on a cliff overlooking a massive mining crew below, saying it was going along nicely, and Mutiny came up behind him.
  • Barbarax landed nearby and had Mutiny look at today's catch, releasing a group of Terra Venture citizens (including GSA officer Mike) from the transportation goo of his barrel.
  • The captives landed in front of Mutiny, who said they were a fine catch indeed, and he welcomed them to his slave camp as Swabbies shackled them all.
  • Later, a dirty Mike wore a black tank top with his dirty blue uniform pants; among the crowd of slaves, none now wore recognizable Terra Venture uniforms.
  • Mike walked among people in dirty, tattered clothes, some more like ancient garb, and others more like tattered flight uniforms.
  • Swabbies led Mike and the girl beside him, Haley, to a spot where they were forced to begin digging in the rocky dirt with pickaxes; like everyone else, they were to put gems and jewels they found into their buckets.
  • One woman in a dingy black suit had three upside-down V's on her arm, like a military design.
  • Threatened by Barbarax, an old man named Benjamin cried out that he was digging as fast as he could, but Barbarax growled loudly that he'd better dig faster, or he wasn't going to waste any more food or water on him, presumably because he would be dead.
  • Benjamin wore dingy black clothes that looked a bit more modern than his granddaughter Haley's more ancient-looking brown clothes with chain-link sections.
  • Later, Barbarax shouted that one slave's gems weren't enough, having the Swabbies take him away.
  • Walking by Ben with Haley, Mike dumped his nearly-full bucket into Ben's as the old man was scrambling to dig more; Haley was shocked.
  • Soon, Barbarax held his axe in front of Mike, having the Swabbies show how many gems he'd dug up.
  • Finding Mike's bucket empty, Barbarax shoved Mike down to set an example for everyone.
  • Barbarax shouted to the crowd that if anyone else wanted to show up empty-handed, this was what happened when they didn't pull their weight, and he prepared to chop Mike with his axe before Haley pleaded for him to wait, protecting Mike.
  • Haley explained he was new, then shouted out for all the new slaves to remember that they worked for Captain Mutiny now, and as Barbarax agreed, she added, "So you dig and you dig hard, or you are all dust!"
  • Barbarax had everyone get back to work as Haley took Mike to keep digging.
  • At sunset, a horn in the distance blew, and Barbarax ordered the trudging masses to get back to their cells.
  • As slaves walked by through the rocky path, a Swabbie scooped some water from a bucket with a ladle to pour into people's cups.
  • When the Swabbie turned, apparently from a faint knocking sound that had been nearby, Mike flung himself and Haley into an area behind some rocks near the rock wall beside them; Ben watched nervously.
  • When the Swabbie turned with a curious, "Ar?" after Haley had whispered for her grandpa, Ben grabbed the water bucket from him violently, crying out that it was all his.
  • Swabbies grappled Ben, and as they dragged him away, he nodded to Mike and Haley, and the two made their escape during the distraction.
  • Barbarax had the Swabbies take Ben to the special "guest cell."
  • Swabbies led the prisoners into stone-blocked cells apparently built into a cliff wall, lighting torches in the area as they went by.
  • After a few Swabbies had padlocked the three cell doors, Mike and Haley rushed out and fought and grappled the Swabbies with the chain that connected them by the wrists.
  • After knocking out the Swabbies, they got the key ring and unlocked themselves, then unlocked each of the cell doors, and the prisoners rushed out, trampling a conscious Swabbie as Mike tried to quiet the elated crowd.
  • Presumably thirty minutes after Mike had called for assistance, the Astro Megaship had landed in the desert, and the Galaxy Rangers ran out of the hatch, leading the fleeing masses inside.
  • As the Rangers led the former slaves inside the Megaship, Blue Ranger called into the crowd for Mike to move it; up close, Blue told him the portal was open, and Mike said that was great, but Haley ran back for her grandpa.
  • In the crowd, Haley stopped a guy with long black hair who wore a jacket with the upside-down V sleeve badge and asked about her grandpa; the guy reluctantly told her Barbarax had taken him away.
  • Mike tried to make Haley go back to the ship while he went, but Haley ran off, refusing to leave Ben.
  • In another stoneblock alcove area with some flaming torches, a Swabbie came up and laughed arr-ingly at Ben, who was in wooden shackles around the neck and wrists, but Mike and Haley would free Ben.
  • Confronted by Barbarax, Mike morphed into the Magna Defender and had his two friends run to the ship; both were shocked, with Ben more apprehensive, and Haley more stunned, but they then fled to the ship.
  • In a Megaship corridor crowded with refugees, the Green and Yellow Rangers distributed gray blankets, and Yellow told them they'd get together some food as soon as possible.
  • Haley gave Ben a blanket, comforting him, and then went through the halls, calling out for Mike.
  • On one wall was a silver "Astro Megaship" plaque where people could've read it.
  • On the bridge, the other three Rangers had the Megaship lift off.
  • From the crowd huddling in the hallway outside the bridge, having come from the direction of the Jet Jammer bay, Haley said Mike was missing, surprising Red Ranger; DECA told them the portal was rapidly closing.
  • As the Megaship approached Terra Venture in preparation to dock, Defender Torozord passed it in space.
  • Defender Torozord braced itself inside the edge of the portal and supported the portal's collapsing edges with its arms, shoving them outward as green energy bolts glowed around the portal.
  • Suddenly, in a chain of explosions beginning in Torozord's left arm and quickly going to the chest and legs, Defender Torozord exploded, flinging metallic shrapnel everywhere.
  • Red Ranger cried out as Haley watched, stunned.
  • The portal was then back open, and Blue Ranger said they had to go, now; the Megaship flew into Terra Venture's holding bay, and they all passed through safely.
  • The refugees cheered and hugged the two Rangers and Alpha.
  • Ben was elated that they were actually free.
  • Due to the former slaves' presumed integration into the population of Terra Venture, their exploits are henceforth listed under "Terra Venture humans" and "Terra Venture's Ranger knowledge."

  • Some time following the arrival of captives from Terra Venture, Swabbies led Mike and the girl beside him, Haley, to a spot where they were forced to begin digging.
  • Nearby, Barbarax shoved an old man, Benjamin, down and poured out the few gems that had been in his bucket despite his having been working all day.
  • Benjamin wore dingy black clothes that looked a bit more modern than Haley's more ancient-looking brown clothes with chain-link sections.
  • Benjamin cried out that he was digging as fast as he could, but Barbarax growled loudly that he'd better dig faster, or he wasn't going to waste any more food or water on him, presumably because he would be dead.
  • Haley collapsed weakly beside Mike, and he helped her drink some water from a metal cup despite her not wanting him to help her.
  • Nearby, Benjamin watched, but Barbarax shouted for the two to get back to work, and Ben kept digging.
  • Haley told Mike never to help her again; if he did, Barbarax would destroy both of them.
  • Later, Ben watched as Barbarax shouted that one slave's gems weren't enough, having the Swabbies take him away.
  • Walking by Ben with Haley, Mike dumped his nearly-full bucket into Ben's as the old man was scrambling to dig more; Haley was shocked.
  • Soon, Barbarax held his axe in front of Mike, having the Swabbies show how many gems he'd dug up.

  • Haley explained he was new, then shouted out for all the new slaves to remember that they worked for Captain Mutiny now, and as Barbarax agreed, she added, "So you dig and you dig hard, or you are all dust!"
  • Haley told Barbarax she'd make sure he (Mike) digged, and Barbarax told her she'd better, or it would be her next time.
  • Barbarax had everyone get back to work as Haley took Mike to keep digging.
  • Mike asked why she'd stuck up for him, and she explained he'd helped her grandpa, Benjamin.
  • At sunset on Mutiny's planet, a horn in the distance blew, and Barbarax ordered the trudging masses to get back to their cells.
  • As slaves walked by through the rocky path, a Swabbie scooped some water from a bucket with a ladle to pour into people's cups.

  • Swabbies grappled Ben, and as they dragged him away, he nodded to Mike and Haley, and the two made their escape during the distraction.
  • Barbarax had the Swabbies take Ben to the special "guest cell."
  • Swabbies led the prisoners into stone-blocked cells apparently built into a cliff wall.
  • As she and Mike hid behind some barrels in the area, Haley wondered what they would do; after a pause, Mike spoke into his left Morpher with a warble, confusing her.
  • Mike addressed the guys, and Leo's voice replied, "Go ahead, Mike."; he had them come in exactly thirty minutes.
  • With a shocked whisper, Haley asked Mike who he was, and he said he'd tell her later.
  • After a few Swabbies had padlocked the three cell doors, Mike had them rush out, and they fought and grappled the Swabbies with the chain that connected them by the wrists.
  • After knocking out the Swabbies, they got the key ring and unlocked themselves, then unlocked each of the cell doors, and the prisoners rushed out, trampling a conscious Swabbie as Mike tried to quiet the elated crowd.
  • Haley was looking for her grandpa in the crowd, but Mike made them go.
  • In another stoneblock alcove area with some flaming torches, a Swabbie came up and laughed arr-ingly at Ben, who was in wooden shackles around the neck and wrists, then proudly sat atop some barrels to keep watch on the captive, but Mike immediately grabbed him from behind, pulled him behind the barrels, and beat him so hard that his sword flew up into the air from the pounding.
  • Mike unlocked the shackles with the Swabbie's keyring as Haley worriedly helped Ben out.
  • The three ran through the mountainous ground, saying they were almost there as the two helped support Ben, but Barbarax suddenly confronted them, saying no one escaped from his slave camp.
  • With both Magna Defender Morphers on his wrists, Mike told Ben and Haley to go to the ship and he'd catch up, and he then ran forward.
  • Haley called after Mike, but he joined his Morphers with a cry of, "Magna power!" and was morphed into the Magna Defender armor with a green gleam, obtaining his sword.
  • Ben and Haley were shocked, with Ben more apprehensive, and Haley more stunned.
  • Armored Mike fought Barbarax, shouting for them to get back to the ship, and they would soon run up to the Megaship, where the Red and Yellow Galaxy Rangers helped them inside.
  • In a Megaship corridor crowded with refugees, the Green and Yellow Rangers distributed gray blankets, and Yellow told them they'd get together some food as soon as possible.
  • Haley gave Ben a blanket, comforting him, and then went through the halls, calling out for Mike.
  • As Mike approached the portal in Torozord, Red Ranger cried out for Mike not to do it, though how he knew Mike intended to sacrifice himself is unknown.

  • The refugees cheered and hugged the two Rangers and Alpha.
  • Ben was elated that they were actually free.
  • Soon after Terra Venture had returned to the normal universe, Red Ranger flew through space on his Jet Jammer looking desperately for Mike in normal space, and he would bring him back to the Megaship, where he would somehow survive.
  • Some time later, Mike awoke in the Megaship infirmary, his head bandaged and wearing what looked like a hospital gown.
  • Beside unmorphed Leo, wearing a blue top herself, Haley asked how he was feeling.
  • Mike said he was okay, asking about her, and she laughed softly that she felt free, saying they all did thanks to him.
  • Haley was sorry it had cost him his powers, but Mike wasn't sorry at all, saying it was exactly what the powers were meant for.
  • At the foot of his bed, Magna Defender's ghost spoke, probably heard only by Mike, "Thank you, Mike. You've served the legacy of the Magna Defender with honor."
  • Mike looked at his bare wrist and smiled softly.
