  • Andros obtained from Darkonda a set of keycards which had been stolen from Zordon during the attack on Eltar.

    617-RMVy

  • On the Megaship's bridge as the Astro Delta Megazord was being trashed by giant Darkonda and his spawn monster, Alpha told the Rangers he'd decoded part of the keycards, and they indicated a massive weapon on one of Jupiter's moons; the monitor in front of Alpha showed Ganymede, with the text, "Top Secret."
  • Andros didn't know of any weapon on Jupiter's moon.
  • On a balcony area, which the Rangers found after accessing a doorway off a hangar in the moonbase, was a table apparatus very similar to the stand from which the Turbo Rangers had gotten their Turbo powers in the Power Chamber in 500-TPRM.
  • Looking at the table, Andros said there were more keycards, and the Rangers were then shown standing around the table and holding a new keycard each when the moonbase's operator voice came from the darkened hangar below.
  • The voice announced, "Mega Vehicles activated," and each Mega Vehicle in the holding bay below was lit up by a spotlight as the voice said its name: Mega V-1, V-2, V-3, V-4, and V-5.
  • Ashley figured that Zordon had hidden the Mega Vehicles there, knowing that one day there would be an emergency and they would need them; Andros noted, "Well, we need them right now!"
  • Poles lowered down to the Mega Vehicles (also known as "Mega V-Zords"), and each Ranger slid down his or her respective pole into the tops of the Mega Vehicles, dropping down into their individual cockpits.
  • Found all throughout the Mega Vehicle cockpits was the Mega Vehicle (or Mega Voyager) symbol, an M within the crux of a large V. (see "Recurring letters")
  • When Andros dropped into his cockpit, it was almost completely darkened, except for a small, plain light to show him what he was doing; the moonbase's operator voice then said, "Insert keycard," and an "Insert keycard" panel with the M-V symbol on it slid open.
  • Andros inserted his keycard, making the panel close and a green light above it light up; V-1's engines primed, some lights came on, side control panels came down to Andros's sides, and the rest of the cockpit lit up; the other V-Zords' activations were presumably the same.
  • On the rear display wall of each Mega Vehicle was a schematics screen just like the one found in the rear of the Astro Megashuttle's cockpit.
  • Andros was surprised by the sensitivity of Mega V-1's controls when he accidentally caused the Zord to tear free from its restraint cables.
  • Mega V-2's runway door, labeled appropriately, opened, and restraint arms released V-2; Mega V-3's overhead door slid open, and arms released V-3, V-5, and V-4.
  • As he prepared for launch in Mega V-3, T.J. remarked, "Let's hope this thing still fires," perhaps suggesting that the Mega Vehicles had remained dormant for quite some time.
  • Moving platforms on tracks led the four V-Zords down their own tunnels, leaving V-3 in the center.
  • As the V-Zords prepared to launch, a screen showed diagrams of the five V-Zords, with orange text reading, "Mega Voyager"; V-3, V-1, V-4, V-2, and V-5 sequentially turned from red to cyan, then a big red "OK!" appeared.
  • V-3 lifted off, and the other four V-Zords were quickly accelerated down their tunnels before the five Mega Vehicles flew out of the moonbase.
  • Flying, Andros finally started to get a feel for his controls; he was apparently the only Ranger to have a problem with his controls.
  • Mega V-1 had the Space Rangers' gold rectangle emblems on the sides of its jetpack.
  • As they flew toward Earth, Cassie found a transformation control, actually a silver handle on her front right labeled, "Docking Lever"; finding one in his own cockpit as well, Andros had them try it, pulling up and turning his lever.
  • Once the docking levers were activated, the Mega Vehicles proceeded to form the Mega Voyager, a Megazord which bore a large red V on its chest.
  • A large M-V symbol was on the underside of Mega V-2.
  • The Rangers didn't know instinctively of the Mega V-3 missile mode; rather, T.J. found it on a display.

    629-DSR1

  • When Andros told Carlos, Ashley, and Cassie to take care of three Velocifighters overhead while they planted detonators on Dark Specter's asteroid, Carlos said they needed the "Mega-V's," and the three teleported into their respective Mega Vehicles in the moonbase before flying them to the asteroid.
  • The lasers of Mega V-2, V-4, and V-5 each destroyed a Velocifighter.
  • To leave the exploding asteroid, Andros and T.J. summoned their V-Zords to them and lifted off inside them.

    630-DSR2

  • Mega Winger, Silver Ranger's Rebel-built robot Zord which was quite similar to (and compatible with) the Mega Vehicles, was mostly white; on its chest was a large yellow V with the Mega Voyager's MV symbol inside.
  • Mega Winger's cockpit was identical to the V-Zord cockpits, except with MW symbols rather than MV symbols, with "Mega Winger" written in various locations.

    636-EnWi

  • Some time after the Psycho Rangers had stolen the Mega Voyager, the V-Zords were strewn about the tree-covered landscape on a planet in the M91 galaxy, with Mega V-3 embedded head-first into the planet, but the Rangers didn't detect damage to their Zords upon getting in.

    640-IWeb

  • Giant Ecliptor slashed the moonbase's dome twice, making it crackle with red energy bolts, and explosions erupted throughout the base, even around the V-Zords, making V-1 fall over amongst the explosions and falling girders.
  • Later, unmorphed Cassie, T.J., and Zhane surveyed the absolute destruction inside the moonbase.
  • Zhane gave the teens on the Megaship the good news that the power systems were intact and that they'd have it fixed in no time.

    641-LITS

  • The Rangers used the Mega Voyager against Tankenstein, but it was destroyed when the monster self-destructed while holding the Megazord.

  • When Skygantor took out five black keycards to bet with at a card game in the Onyx Tavern, the dealer yelled that they were worthless, but Darkonda carefully examined them with intrigue, asking where he'd gotten them.
  • Skygantor defensively told the dealer, "I stole them when we battled on Eltar!"; the dealer was unimpressed.
  • Skygantor added, "They were Zordon's! They must be worth something!" and Darkonda agreed, saying the keycards were priceless.
  • After Andros had won the keycards in the game, he was looking through them when Darkonda approached and offered to pay him handsomely for the keycards; he gave them to Darkonda in exchange for information about KO-35.
  • The keycards had white barcodes along the top, and white text below that which read, "Insert Card," and an arrow pointing up.
  • After stealing back the cards from Darkonda, Andros gave them to Alpha for analysis, and he soon verified that they were genuine and had come from Eltar.
  • To go down to Earth as Andros took the keycards, the five teens took the Megalift from the bridge, rather than using the jump tubes in the next room, and their teleportation streaks flew from the left side of the docking station rather than the Megaship, which was docked on top; when the morphed Rangers appeared downtown, the keycards weren't with them.

    617-RMVy

  • On the bridge with the keycards as the Astro Delta Megazord was being trashed by giant Darkonda and his spawn monster, Alpha told the Rangers he'd decoded part of the keycards, and they indicated a massive weapon on one of Jupiter's moons; the monitor in front of Alpha showed Ganymede, with the text, "Top Secret."
  • Alpha's information didn't describe the nature of the weapon.
  • Alpha sent the keycards to Ashley through a transfer tube before the Rangers left for Ganymede in the Delta Megaship.
  • Interrogating Skygantor, Astronema immediately asked upon learning that Darkonda had won a set of keycards on Onyx, "Zordon's keycards?"
  • Soon startled to learn Red Ranger had stolen the keycards, Astronema repeated, "The Rangers have Zordon's keycards?"; she then told Ecliptor with determination to get her battle gear and follow her.
  • On a balcony area, which the Rangers found after accessing a doorway off a hangar in the moonbase, was a table apparatus very similar to the stand from which the Turbo Rangers had gotten their Turbo powers in the Power Chamber in 500-TPRM.
  • Looking at the table, Andros said there were more keycards, and the Rangers were then shown standing around the table and holding a new keycard each when the moonbase's operator voice announced the Mega Vehicles in the holding bay below as the lights came on.
  • On each of the new keycards was a schematic of the respective Mega Vehicle and a picture of the respective Space Ranger's helmet, along with the "Insert Card" and arrow at the top.

  • Mega V-1, the Red Space Ranger's Mega Vehicle, was a robot warrior with a jetpack.
  • On the schematics screen behind Red Ranger's right shoulder in the cockpit was what appeared to be the name "Rovoyager."
  • After activating Mega V-1 for the first time, Andros tested out its controls, at which point Mega V-1 looked around, then tore out of the silver restraint cables on its arms; struggling with his joystick, Andros was surprised by the sensitivity of the controls.
  • As it was accelerated down its launch tunnel, V-1 assumed a surfing stance and nearly stumbled from the acceleration but managed to stabilize itself.
  • Eventually starting to get a feel for the controls after launch, Andros showed off by having Mega V-1 hop from V-5 to V-4 to V-2, rocking each, finally landing on V-3, to the annoyance of T.J.
  • When the spawn monster latched onto V-1, Andros used its back thrusters to right the Zord, then it hovered over the surface of the moon on which the monster had landed.
  • When Andros activated weapons mode and pulled his joystick trigger, many minimissiles from V-1's shoulder packs, in 3x4 arrangements on each side, bombarded the monster.
  • Blasted by the monster, V-1 gently landed on the moon.
  • Mega V-1 had the Space Rangers' gold rectangle emblems on the sides of its jetpack.
  • T.J. landed V-3, offering Andros a lift; V-1 flew slowly through the air and landed on V-3, which then flew off again.
  • When V-1 fired its minimissiles while flying by on V-3, the spawn monster was destroyed.
  • Mega V-1 formed the midsection, waist, and thighs of the Mega Voyager.

  • Mega V-2, the Black Space Ranger's Mega Vehicle, was a space shuttle jet.
  • On the schematics screen behind Black Ranger's left shoulder in the cockpit was the name "Shuttle Voyager."
  • V-2 could shoot a series of purple lasers from points on its wings close to the body.
  • The head of Mega Voyager came from the rear of Mega V-2.
  • The Mega Voyager could hold Mega V-2 as a shield, with the strong, flat underside bearing a large M-V symbol.

    636-EnWi

  • The Mega Voyager cockpit was in the head, a part of Mega V-2.

  • Mega V-3, the Blue Space Ranger's Mega Vehicle, was a very large rocket.
  • On the schematics screen behind Blue Ranger's left shoulder in the cockpit was the name "Rocket Voyager."
  • As restraint arms released Mega V-3 after its overhead doors had slid open for launch, T.J.'s cockpit appeared to turn to point him upward.
  • Eventually starting to get a feel for his controls after launch, Andros showed off by having Mega V-1 hop from V-5 to V-4 to V-2, rocking each, finally landing on V-3, to the annoyance of T.J.
  • When Mega V-1 was on the surface of a moon fighting the spawn monster, T.J. flew down and rolled V-3 to a stop using its bottom landing treads, offering Andros a lift.
  • V-1 landed on V-3, which then flew off again.
  • The lower boosters of Mega V-3 formed the lower legs of the Mega Voyager, the center portion formed the inner base of the torso, and the front portion served as a large cannon which could be held by the Mega Voyager.
  • As the Mega Voyager fought Darkonda without V-3, T.J. found that weapons showed a Mega V-3 missile, and Andros called for it; after Andros had performed the standard maneuver of shifting his right joystick in the sequence west-north-south-east, almost tracing out an M, Mega V-3's front portion flew in from the sky, and the Mega Voyager caught it; in the future, the stick-shifting sequence would primarily be used to fire the missile mode rather than summon it.
  • Aiming the missile at Darkonda, the Mega Voyager squeezed an apparent trigger in the missile's handle; Andros then pulled his right joystick trigger, and the nosecone of V-3 fired off as a massive projectile, destroying giant Darkonda.

    618-TBTR

  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Lionizer.

    619-IOBS

  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Body Switcher.

    622-SvSc

  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Praying Mantis.

    627-AsTT

  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed the giant needle monster.

    630-DSR2

  • Flying after giant Frightwing, Winged Mega Voyager fired the Mega V-3 missile mode, which spiraled through the air and blew the monster into fragments in midair.

    632-COnC

  • The Mega V-3 missile mode, launched from Winged Mega Voyager, destroyed giant Datascammer.

    633-Rift

  • Once Mega V-3 had been summoned to use against giant Psycho-monster Pink, Cassie typed at her controls and said the missile was ready and locked on target; suddenly, however, as the Mega Voyager stood ready, the lights in the cockpit dimmed, making Cassie wonder what was going on, as everything was locked up.
  • Ashley told Cassie, "Auxiliary power to weapons!" and Cassie, typing, complied; a schematic of Mega Voyager showed a yellow arrow from Mega V-4 going into Mega V-3 with the text "Energy Charge" and a meter rising toward 100.
  • Red energy bolts from Mega V-4 charged up the Mega V-3 Missile Mode, making it glow red; Cassie announced that weapons were online, and the glowing red V-3 destroyed Psycho Pink.

    634-FOAK

  • The Winged Mega Voyager destroyed Psycho Blue with the Mega V-3 missile mode after presumably weakening him quite a bit with heat-generated lasers.

    636-EnWi

  • Ashley thought to absorb the Psycho Monsters' energy and turn it back against them; T.J. didn't know whether the Megazords, with their power levels low, could take that kind of abuse, but Carlos and Andros agreed it was worth a chance.
  • Mega Voyager stood in front, and Mega Winger and the Astro Delta Megazord put a hand on its shoulders, making white flashes of power as they made contact.
  • Once the Psychos had blasted continuously for some time but stopped for some reason, perhaps out of energy or resting momentarily, red energy bolts from all three Megazords charged up Mega V-3 as Mega Voyager wielded it.
  • The glowing V-3 missile mode fired, and the resulting red energy explosion from the impact sequentially blew Psycho Red, Psycho Black, and Psycho Yellow into bits, and as a blue shockwave cleared, the Rangers realized the Psychos were gone and that they'd won.

    638-MTSC

  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Vacsacker.

    641-LITS

  • When Mega Voyager fired the Mega V-3 missile mode, giant Tankenstein blocked with his right arm, severing the arm, but mechanical tendrils extended from his arm, flailing about, and then reassembled a new arm.
