  • Bones's head could hover in the air, and after his body had vanished, it sent the Rangers into a time warp.
  • Skeleton warriors wielding swords appeared in the time warp to defend Bones.
  • Trini destroyed all of the warriors by running past them with her Blade Blaster blade extended.
  • Bones used his sword to split open the ground of the time warp.
  • Trini destroyed Bones by throwing his head into a lava pit, causing his body to fall over and explode.

  • The Viewing Globe showed the Minotaur blowing a stream of fire from its mouth.
  • Jason's Blade Blaster beam bounced off Minotaur's shield.
  • Giant Minotaur could shoot from its horns red energy bolts which combined to form a single white energy bolt.
  • The Minotaur resisted the Mastodon's freeze spray.
  • Zordon agreed with Alpha that the Zords didn't stand a chance against the Minotaur.
  • The Minotaur apparently shrank, perhaps by Rita's doing, after the Rangers had retreated to the Command Center.
  • The Power Blaster destroyed the Minotaur.

  • King Sphinx simultaneously demorphed Kim and teleported her to the Youth Center by blowing his wings; he did the same to Zack soon afterward.
  • King Sphinx could shoot flaming question marks from his scepter.
  • King Sphinx seemed to teleport himself and Jason to the rock quarry, where a rock pyramid seems to be in the background.
  • Giant King Sphinx could shoot a golden beam of energy from his crown.
  • Giant King Sphinx's wings only blew the Megazord back a bit.
  • The Megazord Power Sword destroyed giant King Sphinx.

    Pilot Episode

  • Zoltar said Rita had sent down Fly Guy to Angel Grove, and the Rangers then confronted Goldar, but soon afterward, Rita's wand made King Sphinx (whom she called Fly Guy) grow.
  • Seeing Fly Guy and Goldar, both giant, Zack said it looked like "ugly man" had brought a friend, even though the Rangers had previously encountered both Fly Guy (the reason they'd summoned their Zords) and Goldar (whose Putties they'd fought).
  • Rita and giant Fly Guy both grew nervous when the Megazord brandished the Power Sword.
  • The Megazord Power Sword destroyed giant Fly Guy.

    MMPR Interactive CD-ROM

  • King Sphinx's hobby was burying Power Rangers up to their necks in the sand and leaving them there forever.
  • Finster supposedly created King Sphinx from a handful of Egyptian sand, which he may have thrown into the clay used to make the monster's model.
  • King Sphinx's eye tattoo could see for miles, and his cobra headdress could strike with deadly venom.
  • King Sphinx's one weakness was rain, which would dissolve him into a sandy puddle.

  • Finster created the Gnarly Gnome.
  • The Gnarly Gnome played a hypnotic accordian.
  • Finster's plan was for the monster to hypnotize and hold several kids, and when the Rangers came to rescue them, the monster would put the Rangers in Rita's power.
  • After waiting in ambush outside the Youth Center, the Gnarly Gnome hypnotized Melissa's friends and led them to a cave somewhere near Angel Grove.
  • In the cave, Gnarly Gnome had Squatt and Baboo fix him an extravagent meal while the Putties and hypnotized girls danced.
  • After Gnarly Gnome had eaten, he, Baboo, and Squatt took a nap in the cave.
  • Gnarly Gnome's boots somehow became untied during the course of his nap.
  • Gnarly Gnome turned invisible to try to escape when he was in trouble with Rita for falling asleep.
  • Gnarly Gnome appeared outside the cave armed with a rake; he didn't use his accordian to hypnotize the Rangers as was originally planned.
  • Gnarly Gnome's rake could simultaneously shoot red and white energy bolts along with sparkling white spheres.
  • The Power Blaster broke the Gnarly Gnome into bits of rock, but Rita's wand reassembled and enlarged him.
  • Only after the Megazord had taken away his rake did the giant Gnarly Gnome use his hypnotic accordian.
  • Giant Gnarly Gnome's music made the Rangers think they were in the city rather than the mountains and the giant Gnarly Gnome look like a building, then the surroundings were normal but the Gnarly Gnome looked like a boulder; at the time, the Rangers had not yet fought a giant monster in the city.   • Giant Gnarly Gnome could shoot the same energy from the horns of his helmet as he could from his rake.

    Pudgy Pig

  • Finster seemed to get the idea of the Pudgy Pig out of a slender brown book.
  • Rita's ideal of a special monster was the Pudgy Pig.
  • Finster told Rita he already had a Pudgy Pig, but that it wasn't his best work.
  • Pudgy Pig was made of a lighter and slightly bluer clay than the other monsters.
  • Rita planned for Pudgy Pig to eat all of the world's food supply.
  • Pudgy Pig came out of the Monstermatic holding a knife and fork but didn't have them upon teleporting to Earth.
  • Pudgy Pig teleported in a yellow fireball to Earth and from then on teleported with a fire cloud effect.
  • Unlike most monsters, Pudgy Pig demonstrated only very basic language abilities.
  • Zordon calculated that Pudgy Pig would eat the entire Earth's food supply in 48 hours.
  • Pudgy Pig had human hands visible, near where his pig thumbs would have been.
  • Pudgy Pig had a suction breath that pulled the Rangers to him.
  • Pudgy Pig ate the Power Weapons.
  • Upon swallowing the Power Weapons, Pudgy Pig blew a cyclone from his mouth which sent the Rangers through a colorful vortex and dropped them, unmorphed, in the park.
  • Spicy food made Pudgy Pig sick enough to spit up the Power Weapons.
  • The Power Blaster destroyed Pudgy Pig.

  • Pudgy Pig was one of the monster hallucinations to charge at the teens on the Island of Illusion, only to vanish when the teens stood their ground.

  • Rita had a Putty give Norman the pig to the teens for pet adoption day, and the Putties left a timer device in the woods which counted down to the pig's transformation into Pudgy Pig.
  • Bulk adopted Norman the pig and took him to school and the Juice Bar.
  • Once the timer device stopped, Norman transformed into Pudgy Pig with red energy.
  • Upon transforming, Pudgy Pig wasn't hostile; he just wanted food.
  • Pudgy Pig fought the Rangers on a rooftop downtown.
  • As he'd done in 106-FdFt, Pudgy Pig blew a white cyclone from his mouth; this time, however, it barely had any effect on the Rangers.
  • In the middle of his fight with the Rangers, Pudgy Pig retreated and ended up at a farm, flirting with a female pig.
  • Trini noted that one of Rita's real monsters could never fall in love like Pudgy Pig had.
  • After the Rangers' fight with giant Goldar, Billy recalibrated the transformer device to turn Norman back to normal.
  • The owner of the pig Norman loved agreed to adopt Norman, even though Bulk and Skull had previously adopted Norman.

  • Rita and crew had great success with the Terror Toad type of monster on Sorcery 7.
  • Terror Toad was Finster's creation.
  • Zordon called the Terror Toad Rita's worst creation yet.
  • Terror Toad's horn turned into an energy Pac Man shape with jagged teeth, the large, white energy tongue of which could wrap around Rangers and such them into the monster's mouth in the form of energy spheres. Terror Toad's stomach bore a picture of the Yellow Ranger's face after he had eaten Trini.
  • Terror Toad deflected Jason and Zack's Blade Blaster shots with a yellow energy stomach barrier with an X on it.
  • Terror Toad's power grew as he swallowed Rangers.
  • Zordon said that the only way to defeat the Terror Toad was to remove his horn and then look for the weak spot beneath his neck.
  • Terror Toad could shoot a yellow burst of energy from his horn.
  • Billy and Kim simultaneously chopped off Terror Toad's horn with their Blade Blaster blades.
  • Without his horn to ingest Rangers as energy spheres as he'd done to Trini and Zack, Terror Toad swallowed Jason and then Billy whole after grabbing them with his tongue.
  • As Terror Toad chewed Rangers, he revealed hidden eyes and a mouth in his neck.
  • Kim simultaneously shot three arrows from her Power Bow into Terror Toad's neck, making him fall over and release the four swallowed Rangers from his mouth in the form of energy spheres.
  • On Jason's command, Kim destroyed Terror Toad by shooting an arrow from her Power Bow into his main mouth.
  • Terror Toad was suddenly in another area of the forest from the Rangers when Kim's arrow destroyed him.


    Madame Woe

  • Madame Woe was reciting the following incantation by the ocean at a fire shrine: "Let the power of the sun, the wind, and sea gather together and come to me."
  • Rita contacted Madame Woe and had her come to the palace on her own, yet she'd talked to Finster earlier as if he were responsible for Madame Woe.
  • Madame Woe called Rita "Empress Rita."
  • Madame Woe's blue crown jewel on her forehead gave her the power to send the Rangers to another dimension.
  • Rita's plan was for Madame Woe to destroy the lone Billy, and the others would follow.
  • Madame Woe told Rita she was honored to do Rita's evil deed of destroying the lone Blue Ranger .
  • Madame Woe mistook Marge for the Blue Ranger .
  • Madame Woe's jewel warped Marge with blue energy bolts to a dark, misty dimension with dead trees and mountain walls in it.
  • Madame Woe got her name by bringing woe or trouble to everyone she touched.
  • Madame Woe's jewel allowed her to control wind, rain, heat, and cold, and to send people to other dimensions.
  • Zordon said the only way the Rangers could defeat Madame Woe was to combine their powers.
  • Madame Woe was again by the ocean when she warped the Rangers into the dimension Marge was in.
  • Madame Woe could fly, shoot her braided hair out like tentacles, teleport-dodge, and scratch the Rangers with her claws.
  • Madame Woe followed Billy to Earth when he'd escaped her dimension.
  • Madame Woe grappled Billy in midair with her hair and sent blue electricity coursing through him.
  • When Billy pulled Madame Woe's crystal off her forehead and crumbled it to dust, she wasn't wearing her crown.
  • The other Rangers and Marge warped out of the dimension shortly after Madame Woe's crystal had been destroyed.
  • The Power Blaster destroyed Madame Woe.

  • The Snizard reflected the Rangers' Blade Blaster lasers with the golden "zapper apple" on his head.
  • Snizard could bite opponents with his snake-mouth hands and hit them with his tail.
  • The Snizard's enormous mouth, the jaw of which extended down to his stomach area, opened up to fire "tonsil snakes," cobras which wrapped around the Rangers and drained their energy.
  • Zordon said that the Power Bow was needed to defeat the Snizard.
  • The Snizard's full power would have been unleashed if he had fired the arrow which he had touched to his zapper apple.
  • Kim destroyed Snizard by shooting his zapper apple with the Power Bow's arrow.

  • The villains, seemingly recently, had obtained the Genie's magic lamp from Canine 4 of the Wolf's Head Galaxy.
  • Squatt and Baboo released the Genie from his lamp.
  • Goldar had the Genie go to Earth in the lamp so Zordon couldn't detect him.
  • The Genie apparently left the lamp after Squatt and Baboo dropped it.
  • The Genie made spears fly out from behind his back and webbing shoot from his fingertips.
  • The giant Genie wielded a staff with a drill at the end that could be spun with a wheel handle.
  • The Genie's power source was his magic lamp; after Alpha made the magic lamp dissolve with white energy from the Command Center's teleporter, the giant Genie then vanished in white energy as well.


    Nasty Knight

  • A picture of the Nasty Knight was on page 12 of Finster's monster book.
  • Nasty Knight wielded a sword and shield.
  • Rita and crew had used the Nasty Knight monster on Tarmac 3 to destroy the finest warrior there - a warrior who happened to wield an axe and wear a gray, black, and gold suit.
  • The flashback of the Nasty Knight defeating one of Tarmac 3's warriors was identical to the flashback in 118-GWE2 of Rita's evil knight defeating one of Zordon's soldiers (see "Sword of Darkness").
  • Baboo and Finster hammered out the Nasty Knight's sword on Earth.
  • Nasty Knight's sword could cut through any material in the universe, and it contained great magical powers.
  • Rita summoned the Nasty Knight with the incantation, "moon of ivory, stars of old, candlelight that's spun of gold... sky of fire, wind of fright, bring to me a Nasty Knight!"; red bolts of lightning then came from the night sky to transform the newly-made sword into Nasty Knight's sword, and then split a tree to reveal the Nasty Knight.
  • Nasty Knight could shoot flaming energy streaks from his sword.
  • Nasty Knight ruined the Rangers' Power Weapons by covering them with black crust during their fight.
  • Nasty Knight used his shield to reflect the Rangers' Tower Formation blast back at them the first time they'd used it.
  • Giant Nasty Knight ruined the Megazord Power Sword as well.
  • Zack figured out that Nasty Knight had burned out their weapons because he was reflecting back any energy they threw at him; Zack had the Megazord reflect back Nasty Knight's energy added with a bit of their own, blasting giant Nasty Knight's sword with blue eyebeams and restoring the Megazord Power Sword.
  • The Megazord Power Sword destroyed the giant Nasty Knight.


    Pineoctopus

  • Pineoctopus disguised himself in human form as Pineapple the Clown, a clown at Rita's fake carnival.
  • Finster trained Pineoctopus personally.
  • In both human and monster form, Pineoctopus could turn people into cardboard cutouts by sprinkling them with magic golden dust: Pineapple sprinkled it from his pouch, while Pineoctopus sprinkled it from his tentacles.
  • Pineapple turned Sylvia into a cardboard cutout and then ran off when confronted by Trini.
  • Pineapple lured Billy away and tried to turn him into a cardboard cutout, but Billy ducked, causing the dust to turn a Putty into a cardboard cutout instead.
  • Pineapple melted into the ground to transform into Pineoctopus.

  • The evil pumpkins growing in the rotten pumpkin patch with Pumpkin Rapper could attach themselves to the Rangers' heads; they were suffocating the Rangers until Kim used her Blade Blaster to chop Jason's pumpkin off, making the others fall off as well.

  • Rita said it was time to awaken her monster, and she picked up the small crystal ball from her altar.
  • The Oysterizer, inside the crystal ball, brought Rita the Pearls of Stillness, and Rita said that was the perfect gift for Zack to give Angela.
  • Zordon said Oysterizer could destroy all ocean life, and he was the keeper of Rita's magic Pearls of Stillness.
