    311-FD&L

  • Finster entered the chamber with the mold for a magic centipede which he thought Rita would truly appreciate, but Rita told him no more bugs; when Zedd fumbled the football Goldar had thrown, Finster scrambled to get it for him, causing him to drop his magic centipede on the football, accidentally creating the Centiback monster, with "Legs" written on one side of his chest and "100" on his arm.
  • Catching Centiback's spiked red football turned Rito into a football (half white and half camouflage); Rita used her wand to transform Rito back to normal.
  • On Earth, Centiback used his football to transform Bulk and Skull into footballs (both blue and white), then Alan into a purple football, and Joe Haley into a red football.
  • Centiback somehow got his football back each time he'd used it on a person.
  • Centiback's football didn't transform a Tenga when the Tenga caught it at the beginning of the fight with the Rangers. (Source: Submitted by Rene Charbonnaeu)
  • Upon hearing the name "Zordon," Centiback called him the worst coach in the universe.
  • Centiback's football turned White Ranger into a white ball with gold diamonds, Blue Ranger into a blue ball with black diamonds, Pink and Black Rangers into pink/black and black/gold balls, then finally Yellow Ranger into a yellow/black ball.
  • Since the footballs emitted an energy wave, Rocky thought to reverse Centiback's spell by turning the beam upside-down and backwards.
  • After Red Ranger had retreated, Centiback moved all of the footballs to the mountains outside Angel Grove.
  • Ninjor and morphed Rocky used modified plastic buckets to catch Centiback's football and restore all of their football friends; first, Rocky caught the magic football and tossed it back out, restoring the four humans; Ninjor then caught and tossed out the magic football again, restoring the five Rangers, at which point the magic football swirled out of existence. (Source: Submitted in part by "Josh G.")
  • The Ninja Megazord's Ape/Wolf power punch destroyed the giant Centiback immediately after giant Ninjor in battle mode had performed a powered-up slash on the monster with his blade.

    First Appearance: 312-FiFO
    Last Appearance: 312-FiFO
Pictures: Face Stealer (shown at right), urn

    312-FiFO

  • Billy knew that according to the Kahmalan ancient scriptures, "the people of Kahmala were terrorized once a year on the day of the fourth full moon by a creature called Face Stealer"; Adam said that "Face Stealer would come down from the sky and terrorize the citizens of [their] country by robbing them of their faces and leaving them without souls."
  • According to the legend, a brave team of warriors had used the magical masks (featured in the museum's exhibit) for protection and defeated the Face Stealer and captured its spirit in the urn (also in the exhibit) 5,000 years ago, and it would remain there for eternity.
  • A red beam from Rita's wand knocked over the Face Stealer's urn, opened it, and unleashed the Face Stealer.
  • When the Face Stealer was freed, the urn appeared to transform into the Face Stealer, even though the monster and urn were two separate entities.
  • Prior to the unleashing of the Face Stealer, Zordon was unsure whether its legend had any basis in reality.
  • Face Stealer shot a blue energy beam from his mouth, turning the area where Bulk and Skull's faces had been, to featureless white surfaces.
  • Face Stealer also blasted the Black and Yellow Rangers (this time in the chest), stealing their faces (beneath their helmets) and souls.
  • The White, Red, Pink, and Blue Rangers borrowed the magical masks from the Kahmalan exhibit at the museum to protect themselves from Face Stealer.
  • Face Stealer was frightened by the sight of the masks.
  • While the Rangers' helmets had offered no protection against Face Stealer, the magical masks reflected Face Stealer's face-stealing beam back at the monster, freeing the faces and souls Face Stealer had captured.
  • The stolen faces included two adult faces, a baby's face, Adam and Aisha's faces, three more adult faces (one wearing glasses), Bulk and Skull's screaming faces, and one more adult face.
  • The Ninja Megafalconzord's Ape/Wolf power punch didn't destroy giant Face Stealer.
  • During the fight, Zedd threw the urn back to Earth, knowing that using it had been a ridiculous idea.
  • The Ninja Ultrazord's blasts destroyed giant Face Stealer.
  • Face Stealer's spirit returned to the urn after being destroyed, and White Ranger soon clamped the lid back on, sealing the urn with red energy.

    Hate Master

    Hate Master
You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / MMPR season 3 monsters
    First Appearance: 313-SHM1
    Last Appearance: 443-Kng2

    313-SHM1

  • For Zedd's plan to create a hate monster, Finster gave Zedd magical seeds of hate which had had extracted from the evil of every monster he'd ever created, and he had Zedd throw them to Earth, then had Rita and Zedd recite an incantation.
  • Rita and Zedd recited the following incantation: "From the deepest darkness of eternal hate, from the moons of Manta (green translucent orbs in front of their hands), to the seas of Demon-Tate!"; red images of the faces of Rita and Zedd then flew down to Earth and turned the seeds into Hate Master.
  • Hate Master spoke in odiously poor raps.
  • Hate Master needed something the teens had touched so he could absorb it and produce hate dust.
  • After abosrbing what he needed from the dust Squatt had collected, Hate Master made red particles swirl around the five teens, putting them under a hate spell.
  • Hate Master sang "Go, go, power particles," in the tune of the communicator chimes (and, obviously, the show's themesong).
  • Hate Master wielded a sword upon growing.
  • While insulting each other, the teens spontaneously and inexplicably overcame the hate spell.
  • Zedd noted that the hate spell wasn't strong enough; the teens' tendency towards good had overcome the small dose.
  • Giant Hate Master gave the teens a higher dose, again filling them with hate; he returned to normal size some time after the hate-filled teens had abandoned their Zords.

    314-SHM2

  • When Alpha found that Aisha's family necklace was emitting a strong energy wave, Zordon said the energies of love, generosity, and caring, had been absorbed by the necklace and must have acted as a shield against Hate Master's dust; more importantly, however, Hate Master hadn't collected anything Aisha had touched, a prerequisite for his spell to work.
  • The Tengas later gave Hate Master soil trampled by Ninja Aisha.
  • By remembering her grandmother's words of wisdom about love conquering all, Aisha resisted the hate spell without her necklace and with Hate Master having obtained soil touched by her; Hate Master then left to recharge.
  • Aisha gave the other teens a talk about martial arts and about the waste of hating each other, and the spell was partially broken, at which point Billy confusedly gave Aisha his device which had shut down the Command Center.
  • Zordon said the longer the teens remained under the spell, the harder it was to break.
  • Alpha used the love in Aisha's family necklace to create a positive energy beam to counteract the hate spell.
  • Although Hate Master had been missing his sword during his second time in giant form, he was holding it just as he was destroyed.
  • Giant Hate Master was attacked by the Frog's mini-Frogzords, the Frog's flame breath, Titanus's fireballs, the Ape's charged double swords, the Falconzord's wingtip blasts, the Wolf's eyebeams, and the Bear's eyebeams, but it was the Crane's lasers which finally destroyed him.

    331-MVA3

  • Hate Master was among the monsters to attend Master Vile's End of the World Party at the Youth Center.

    442-Kng1

  • Rito sent Miss Chief, invisible, to Earth with the love potion.
  • Miss Chief loved being invisible and playing cupid.
  • Miss Chief had "Mad Fire" on her helmet, along with the number 87.
  • Miss Chief made large numbers of people in Angel Grove High fall in love.
  • Finster eventually made Miss Chief return to the palace after he'd been ordered by Goldar to test a love potion antidote on Miss Chief's matches.

  • Once Zedd had sent her back to Earth, Miss Chief wielded a sharp-edged shield which she could throw at the Rangers.

  • After Tommy had inadvertently swallowed the shrunken Ravenator with a bite of his pita, the monster gave him intense cravings for junk food.
  • Aisha got the idea to test Tommy's resistance with an enormous sundae; once Tommy had resisted the sundae, Ravenator flew out of his mouth and expanded to normal size; he appeared to leave behind in Tommy's stomach the large (but shrunken) fork and knife weapons he had been holding.
  • The Shogun Megazord's Fire Saber destroyed giant Ravenator, sending his essence up to the sky to explode.

  • Brick Bully sent a barrage of orange energy bricks flying at the Ninja Rangers.
  • Brick Bully launched blue energy bricks which shrank the Red, White, Black, and Yellow Rangers and encased them in Ranger-colored bricks.
  • After the Pink and Blue Rangers had retreated with the four block Rangers, Brick Bully was hungry.
  • Brick Bully was soon increasing his strength by feeding on building supplies; the more he ate, the bigger and stronger he got.
  • After eating building supplies, Brick Bully transformed into a second form.
  • Brick Bully shot at morphed Billy with two blue bricks but missed both times.
  • Brick Bully suddenly felt weak from not eating after firing six more blue bricks at Blue Ranger.
  • After growing to giant size, Brick Bully tried to fall on Blue Ranger to crush him.
  • Giant Brick Bully made brick walls surround the Blue Shogunzord, then threw iron rods into the brick cage, making it explode; the Zord was soon shown to be apparently unharmed by the attack.
  • After roughing giant Brick Bully up a bit, the Blue Shogunzord pulled out its lance and impaled the monster (who was in a reclined position) with the blunt end of its lance, making the monster explode into pieces.

  • As Sinister Simian, Kelly seemed to recognize morphed Kat's voice.
  • Kelly was able to speak as Sinister Simian.
  • As Sinister Simian scratched each of the five Rangers (after having scratched Blue Ranger) with her claws, the sparks which burst forth from each Ranger's chest were accompanied by a large yellow image of Sinister Simian's face.
  • Sinister Simian shot yellow energy monkey-face blasts from red energy in her hands.

    Globbor
    - energy-draining slime monster created by Master Vile
    Globbor
You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / MMPR season 3 monsters
    Full Name: Blue Globbor (329-MVA1)
    First Appearance: 329-MVA1
    Last Appearance: 642-CTD1
Pictures: original form (shown at right), Globbor with Ninjor powers, Globbor with Ninjazord and Shogunzord powers

    329-MVA1

  • Master Vile spat out a green egg, then cracked it with his staff, and dark ooze poured out, from which arose the "Blue Globbor."
  • When Globbor suddenly latched onto his back, Ninjor grew, but a blue lightning bolt from the clouds made Globbor grow as well.
  • Globbor and Ninjor, both giant, vanished in bluish-white energy after Globbor had begun draining Ninjor's power.
  • When Ninjor awoke in chains in Master Vile's Space Skull's throne room, Vile told him that Globbor had already drained most of his power.
  • In downtown Angel Grove, Giant Globbor attacked a section of abandoned buildings, perhaps what would be known as the abandoned warehouse district.
  • Giant Globbor shot blue energy from various spots on his body.
  • Giant Globbor remotely drained most of the Shogun Megazord's power.

    330-MVA2

  • Giant Globbor had already gotten to the Ninja Megazord as well when the Rangers switched to it.
  • As giant Globbor fought the Ninja Megazord, he copied the motions Master Vile did in the Space Skull.
  • Giant Globbor spat black goo onto the Ninja Megazord, making it spark and causing a major power drain.
  • The Ninja Megafalconzord's Wolf/Ape power punch made giant Globbor explode, but he soon rose from the flames.
  • Giant Globbor took on Ninjor's energy, making himself look a bit like Ninjor.
  • Master Vile told Ninjor that Globbor had absorbed all of his powers.
  • Giant Ninjor-Globbor wielded a sword like Ninjor's, and he was able to throw Ninjor's red energy ball.
  • Giant Ninjor-Globbor fired a blue energy bolt from his bladed staff.
  • The Shogun Megazord's Fire Saber didn't destroy the giant Ninjor-Globbor.
  • Ninjor, now on a rooftop, still in chains, sparked in pain from the Fire Saber's attack on giant Ninjor-Globbor and from any of the successive blows to Globbor.
  • After the Rangers had been ejected from their Zords and the Zords toppled, Vile planned to send the Zords off to a distant galaxy; he told giant Ninjor-Globbor first to suck out every last bit of their power, but then the Zords were teleported away with green energy just as Globbor leapt for them; Globbor was confused, but Vile didn't act surprised, so it was most likely his doing.
  • Ninjor-Globbor next shrank and confronted the Rangers in the alley in which they had landed.
  • Upon shrinking, Globbor still had Ninjor's chest and shoulders but was missing the visor.
  • Globbor shot blue/gold energy bolts from his hands which made Ranger-colored energy bolts flow from the Rangers into his hands, draining their energy.
  • After the Rangers had donned the Metallic Armor for protection, Tommy said he didn't know how much longer the armor could protect them, but Globbor appeared to be unhampered in his draining of their energy.
  • The weak Rangers each had a bit of power left, and they combined it to shine bright light from the Metallic Armor at Ninjor-Globbor, blasting his sucking gauntlets off.

    331-MVA3

  • Later, giant Ninjor-Globbor was again in full armor as he destroyed another building; the sky was dark from Master Vile's recent eclipse spell.
  • Giant Ninjor-Globbor splashed goo on the city streets from his energy-sucking gauntlets.
  • Once the Zords had returned, Master Vile had Globbor use the Zords' energy and transform.
  • Upon tapping the Ninjazords' and Shogunzords' energy, giant Globbor wore the symbols of Ninjor and four of the Zords (with no Ape or Falcon symbols), and he had four Aquitian Ranger helmets for heads: yellow in front, white on his right, black in back, and blue on his left; he was still wielding a sword, but not Ninjor's; Globbor then told the six Rangers he now had the same power as they did.
  • Giant Ranger-Globbor leapt through the air and was suddenly in front of the Ninja Megazord, as though he had performed the Ninja Rangers' slide-teleport without the blur effect.
  • Told to use his "weapons" by Master Vile, giant Ranger-Globbor wielded a small wrist-mounted crossbow bearing the J pentagon of the Black Ranger's Zords; it fired what looked like three pink energy darts; at this point, Tommy exclaimed that Globbor was using their own powers against them.
  • Ninjor was badly hurt by the Ninja and Shogun Megazords' fight with giant Ranger-Globbor.
  • Alpha's readings showed that Globbor was feeding off the darkness of Master Vile's eclipse spell and that daylight could diffuse some of Globbor's energy.
  • Yellow energy beams from the Command Center undid Master Vile's eclipse spell, weakening Globbor's powers in the sunlight; as Globbor was weakened, Ninjor's strength began to return.
  • Being punched by the Ninja Megazord caused giant Globbor to spark, then glow green and release all of his absorbed powers.
  • The Shogun Megazord's Fire Saber, followed immediately by giant Ninjor's energy ball, destroyed giant Globbor.

    442-Kng1

  • Globbor, bearing the Aquitian Ranger helmets, was in the large crowd of monsters (both from the Machine Empire and Rita and Zedd) in Prince Gasket's other-dimensional Machine Arena.

    601-FON1

  • Master Vile attended Dark Specter's assembly of villains on the Cimmerian Planet following Zordon's capture; he had brought along Globbor, who still bore the Aquitian Rangers' helmets.

    642-CTD1

  • Globbor was among Rita and Zedd's army on a planet in the Vica Galaxy, still bearing the Aquitian Rangers' helmets.

    Dischordia
    - singing monster used by Master Vile
    Dischordia
You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / MMPR season 3 monsters
    First Appearance: 331-MVA3
    Last Appearance: 443-Kng2

    331-MVA3

  • Dischordia was among the monsters to attend Master Vile's End of the World Party at the Youth Center; seated at a table, she ordered a hot fudge sundae with everything on it from a little girl, telling her not to hold back on the jalapeņos.

    332-TSOD

  • Master Vile stood in the mouth of his Space Skull, spying on Tommy, Kat, and Aisha as the girls worked on their harmony for the Angel Grove High school song contest; Dischordia was then shown just inside the mouth of the Space Skull, charging up with red lightning bolts from the cloudy sky outside, as Vile told her that she would be responsible for bringing the teens' singing to a permanent end.
  • Dischordia's origins were never mentioned, nor was she explicitly called a monster, with the exception of Zedd's exclamation used to make her grow, and such exclamations had in the past called non-monsters "monsters."
  • Rita, Zedd, their henchmen, and Master Vile later formed an audience of sorts by the throne in the chamber of command as Finster stood at a microphone in front of the chamber's western doorway and introduced Dischordia, who entered from the direction of his workshop.
  • Rita grew increasingly distressed by Zedd's attention to Dischordia, as the following exchange illustrates:
    - Rita looks down at the clapping Zedd with a bit of concern
Zedd (standing): "Dischordia! How well I remember your painful voice."
    - Rita looks more upset
Zedd: "Thank you for coming to my palace on such short notice."
Dischordia: "I'll do anything for ya, Zeddy boy!" (blows a kiss)
    Rita: "Zeddy?!"
Zedd (walking over to Dischordia): "With your terrible tunes, you will be able to squelch those Ranger rats once and for all! (holds Dischordia's hands and caresses her) And what a beautiful noise it will be."
Dischordia (pulling away): "I won't fail ya!"
  • Dischordia stood outside Aisha's house, screaming in off-key singing until Kat and Aisha came outside.
  • The entire time Dischordia was outside Aisha's house, she was standing in direct sunlight, yet she would later demonstrate an aversion to bright light.
  • As Dischordia sang, red energy waves came from her chest and put morphed Aisha and Kat under a dancing spell, making them dance without control over their bodies; she did the same to the other four Rangers once they'd arrived.
  • A particular note Dischordia sang made the ground tremble.
  • With her dancing spell, Dischordia was able to control the Rangers' bodies.
  • Dischordia planned to make morphed Tommy turn over his Power Coin and then his Zord; he was quite close to handing her his Power Coin, but she then knocked him away for no apparent reason.
  • Dischordia had stopped singing by the time Alpha contacted the Rangers on the communicators, and at that point, the Rangers appeared to be free from her control.
  • The Metallic Armor, summoned by the Rangers following Zordon's suggestion, gave off bright light with sparkles, bothering Dischordia, who said she hated bright light.
  • The Metallic Armor supposedly blocked Dischordia's song, but their immunity wasn't demonstrated, as Dischordia didn't again attempt to use her dancing spell.
  • Dischordia wielded a jagged dagger upon growing.
  • After forming the Shogun Megazord to fight giant Dischordia, the Rangers brought in the Ninja Megazord by remote; giant Ninjor then flew in to help the Rangers as well.
  • Giant Dischordia raised her hand to the sky, and dark clouds formed; lightning from above then struck her.
  • After being knocked back during the fight, giant Dischordia said she needed more power, and she was again struck by lightning.
  • Lightning struck giant Dischordia a third time after giant Ninjor had flipped her over.
  • Giant Dischordia shot flaming energy from her dagger; the energy blast detached the Falconzord from the Ninja Megazord and knocked giant Ninjor and the Megazords over, tremendously weakening Ninjor, the Zords, and the Rangers inside.
  • Once the Falconzord had taken to the skies again after being detached from the Ninja Megazord, the sky brightened back up (bothering Dischordia), and the previously weakened Ninja Megazord, Shogun Megazord, and giant Ninjor got back up, seemingly at full strength.
  • The Shogun Megafalconzord's blasts didn't destroy giant Dischordia.
  • The Shogun Ultrazord's blasts destroyed giant Dischordia.

    442-Kng1

  • Dischordia was in the large crowd of monsters (both from the Machine Empire and Rita and Zedd) in Prince Gasket's other-dimensional Machine Arena.

  • The monster had a large, curved, silver arm blade; since the other four monsters also had new weapons, it follows that the green monster's arm blade was an added weapon it wouldn't normally have had.
  • The monster had fish fins along its back.
  • The giant green monster, along with the four other giant monsters, teleported away after the Shogun Megazord had destroyed giant Professor Longnose.

    337-ATrp

  • After scheming to dump lunar toxic space waste into Angel Grove Lake to poison the Aquitian Rangers, Zedd could think of no one better to toxicate the lake than their very own Erik and Merrick the Barbaric.
  • The Barbaric Brothers talked like surfers and were walking in what looked like a forest.
  • Both Barbaric Brothers had swords.
  • Erik poured a square clear bottle of purple liquid into the lake, and the purple quickly spread throughout the lake.
  • As they watched from the trees, Merrick drank from a silver container that looked like an alcoholic drink container.
  • Erik suggested getting a burrito, but Merrick said they had to make sure the Rangers were done for.
  • One of the Barbaric Brothers told the other that once they'd destroyed the Rangers, he needed to wax his board.
  • The giant Barbaric Brothers summoned from bluish-white energy chest and leg armor, as well as right-handed arm weapons: a buzzsaw for Erik and a drill for Merrick.
  • Aurico had his Battle Borg spin around as the giant Merrick lunged in with his drill as the giant Erik held the Borg; it seems as though Erik might have been accidentally struck by Merrick's drill, but the drill was never shown making contact, and Erik wasn't shown to be injured.
  • A single finishing move from the Shogun Megazord's Fire Saber simultaneously destroyed both of the giant Barbaric Brothers.
  • After the Barbaric Brothers had been destroyed, no mention was made of the poison in the lake, but there was still purple goo on Billy's ruined generator device.

    OTHER SOURCES

  • According to the toy line, the blue Barbaric Brother was Erik, and red was Merrick. (Source: Submitted by SirStack)

  • Giant Bratboy argued with the kids below that he wasn't Bulk and that he didn't have any friends.
  • Giant Bratboy got on his hands and knees and cried, then in gold energy turned into normally-aged Bulk briefly near the six, then young Bulk.
  • Rita and Zedd crossed their staves and generated a lightning bolt which turned young Bulk back into Bratboy.
  • When Rita and Zedd remotely ordered Bratboy to destroy either the kids and Billy or the Aquitian Rangers, the monster fired a blue energy beam from his hands at the moon, striking the palace's balcony.
  • Another lightning bolt from Rita and Zedd turned Bratboy back into young Bulk (normal Bulk briefly) again with gold energy.

    442-Kng1

  • Bratboy was in the large crowd of monsters (both from the Machine Empire and Rita and Zedd) in Prince Gasket's other-dimensional Machine Arena, definitely now a distinct entity from Bulk.
