Goldar and Mordant were
Rita and Zedd's
Goldar and Mordant chose
to serve Ivan Ooze after watching Ivan trap Rita and Zedd inside a snow globe.
Goldar told Ivan that they never liked Rita and Zedd in the
first place, and Mordant said they stank.
Mordant hadn't known that Ivan Ooze was a master of disguise.
Much later after Ivan
had been destroyed, Mordant was serving "King Goldar" a bowl of fruit when the angry Rita and Zedd entered.

Mordant, originally a short, fat, furry
creature, was supposed to be Goldar's second cousin three times removed on Goldar's mother's side,
visiting for the summer.

Purple energy bolts from Ivan Ooze's fingertips made purple ooze rise
from the ground and form into ooze beings resembling himself.
After flipping an ooze being onto its back, Billy punched it in the chest; his punch was
ineffective, merely getting ooze on his hand.
A total of twelve ooze beings were shown
approaching the teens at one point.
The ooze beings retreated into a dark unfinished
building as the teens were morphing.
Whatever the ooze beings were made of, the Red Ranger's Power Scope couldn't lock
The ooze beings still gave the morphed Rangers some difficulty.
splattered an ooze being by kicking it a long distance into a wall.

When the Red and Black Rangers
kicked either side of an ooze being's head, it temporarily squished in
with a cartoon effect.

Saba's eyebeams caused a
large bin of some sort to drop onto the remaining ooze beings, crushing
them into a puddle of ooze.
