333-RIRv

  • As Master Vile worked to summon the Orb of Doom on the moon, a gravitational disturbance from the moon decalibrated the Command Center's instruments, and, at the time, Zordon was absent from his tube; his head soon rose up through the tube from a lower level (rather than materializing from his side columns), and he explained he had been monitoring the situation from his "private chamber," perhaps referring to the future Power Chamber or the hidden chamber used to create the White Ranger; Zordon and Alpha were both concerned by Vile's activity.

    343-HdA2

  • As the Command Center was rocked by explosions from the implosion device in the basement, Alpha looked up at Zordon's tube, in which Zordon may or may not have been at the time, and screamed, "Ai yi yi yi yi! Zordon, I don't know what to do! Ai yi yi yi yi!!"
  • Over forty seconds after the implosion device had begun generating small explosions, the Command Center finally exploded, leaving only a smoking, charred lower framework behind.

    401-AZB1

  • After the Zeo Crystal had sent the six teens falling into the Command Center basement and begun reconstructing the Command Center exterior, the teens wandered through the tunnels in search of the source of a loud clunk and a vibrating noise.
  • The teens soon heard Alpha's echoing voice (seemingly coming from above) saying, "Re-established communication with data pathways. Serial port enabled."
  • Approximately the same time as the Command Center exterior had been completely rebuilt, just after Alpha (his voice seeming to come from above) had exclaimed, "Ai yi yi!", the tunnels quaked with what sounded like an explosion; Billy theorized that the foundation was re-settling.
  • Around a corner in the tunnels were silver double doors bearing the Power Ranger lightning bolt designs; the doors opened to reveal a wall of what looked like swirling green gel which oozed out from the open doorway a bit after the doors were open.
  • After some hesitation, Tommy thrust his hand into the green vortex and then soon pulled his gooey fingers out, saying it felt "cool."
  • After the six teens had stepped into the vortex, the gel went back into the door frame, and the doors slid shut; the teens appeared from the green vortex in the middle of the Power Chamber, and the vortex then disappeared behind them.
  • In the Power Chamber, an awed Billy explained that it was the next generation in strategic command outposts; he said he'd seen plans for it in the mainframe, but he had no idea it existed.
  • Along the walls of the Power Chamber near the floor were the same vents with golden light which had been found all throughout the tunnels beneath the Command Center.
  • The Power Chamber's floorplan resembled a half-circle; if the long, straight wall were designated as "south," then Zordon's tube was in the north-northwest.
  • A pan through the Power Chamber from west to north to east would have shown large double doors (west), the medical table , a tall doorway with several steps leading up to it (west-northwest), an Alpha-shaped recess in the wall (northwest), Zordon's tube (north-northwest), two rectangular monitors (north), a pillar of some sort resembling Zordon's new tube, but with vertical yellow lighting made of small yellow dot lights (northeast), the circular Viewing Screen (east-northeast), and more large double doors (east).
  • Of the two rectangular monitors on the north wall, the left one showed a map of the Earth, and the right one showed a map of the Power Chamber's main room.
  • In the center of the Power Chamber was a console, roughly six feet wide; on its left was a similar, western console, and on its right was a similar eastern console.
  • Alpha told the six teens that all systems were online.
  • Alpha explained, "The Power Chamber has always been here. We knew there could be a time when the Command Center would become vulnerable to an attack."

    402-AZB2

  • Zordon asked the six teens how they liked his and Alpha's surprise, the Power Chamber; he told them that Alpha had been working on it for months.
  • All of the panels in the southern wall, which would soon become the gallery of the original Ranger suits and Power Weapons, were currently dark and empty.
  • There were railings in front of the west and east sides of the southern gallery wall, with the center area unobstructed.
  • An indeterminate amount of time after Billy had stepped down from being a Ranger, Alpha and Billy together pushed buttons on the eastern console before the five teens first used their Zeonizers, which were first shown lying on a black table, which was to the south of the central console.
  • After the Zeo Subcrystals had suited the five teens up as Zeo Rangers and Zordon had told the teens he was very proud of them, the Rangers turned around to see that the gallery along the south wall was now full and lit up.
  • The gallery consisted of seven panes; in the central pane, the Power Weapons were on display; in the left (east) three panes of the gallery were mannequins of the Blue, Yellow, and White Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers; in the right (west) three panes were mannequins the Pink, Black, and Red Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers; White Ranger had Saba on its belt, and the other five Rangers had what looked like Power Morphers and Power Coins on their belts.

    403-ShSt

  • Billy was working on the wiring beneath a control panel in the Power Chamber when Zordon thanked him for his technical help on the Zeozords.
  • Bulk and Skull's call for help into their patrol bike's radio, when Cogs were approaching them, appeared on the Viewing Screen as Billy was connecting some wires, still beneath the central console.

    405-FCOL

  • Soon after Joey's initial burst of amplified crying, Billy, in the Power Chamber, explained that their satellite communications transceiver had recorded the crying.

    411-AFBS

  • The central and eastern consoles each had printers.

    414-MBWR

  • When Billy, drifting in a damaged spacecraft toward the Machine Skybase, thought for the Power Chamber to push him out of his current trajectory, Zordon had Alpha raise the remote tractor beam transmitter.
  • Tanya and Kat, on the consoles, set the beam's positioning; Adam, at the controls on one wall, said that the power was up.
  • Rocky, working the medical table controls, said they were ready to fire.
  • The tractor beam transmitter was a black satellite dish in the top of a rock structure; the dish shot a blue energy beam, but a photon blast from the Machine Skybase intercepted the tractor beam just before it could reach Billy's ship, sending the ship hurtling toward the sun, shorting out the dish, and making the Power Chamber quake, flash, and drop chunks from the ceiling.
  • Alpha was soon holding a fuel cell (like a large fuse), which had been crystallized by the explosion, disabling the tractor beam.
  • Billy had stored the rest of the Power Chamber's spare fuel cells in the Angel Grove University warehouse.
  • When the Angel Grove University warehouse exploded with the Rangers and Mechanizer inside, all of the Rangers but Tommy flew out of the building as its interior exploded; Tommy eventually emerged from the flaming building, unscathed, with the fuel cell the Rangers needed.
  • Later, Rocky worked the medical table controls and told the others that they were at full power.
  • The explosion from the Machine Skybase's blast had fused the dish's motor, so Tommy teleported "up there" to the rocky location of the dish; he operated a control panel beside the dish, then with great effort pushed forward a long lever which freed the dish.

    417-Sno3

  • Mondo said that, due to Defoliator's warming, the heat shields to the Power Chamber would eventually melt, rendering Zordon helpless.
  • The Machine Skybase's Viewing Screen showed a shot of the Power Chamber's exterior.
  • Some time after checking out from the ski resort with Tommy and Kat, Billy entered through the northwest doorway to ask Alpha what was going on concerning the heat wave in Angel Grove.
  • Billy thought to increase the capacity on the central tracking unit, but Alpha said they couldn't do so without overloading the system, as the heat outside was starting to wear down the heat shields; they were down 20% already.
  • Soon afterward, the console in the Power Chamber was burning up; the Power Chamber's heat shields weren't holding.

    418-InSp

  • When Tommy teleported into the Power Chamber in the middle of the night, Alpha was standing motionless in his recess in the wall, with a yellow nightcap on his head; when Tommy woke him, Alpha was startled, initially thinking that Tommy was an intruder.
  • While Main Drain was draining energy from the Angel Grove power plant that night, the Power Chamber experienced a fluctuation in its power supply, briefly dimming the lights.
  • The next day, Angel Grove (or at least the Youth Center) was having power surges all day due to Main Drain; when the power at the Youth Center went out due to another power surge, the main lights in the Power Chamber were also eventually shown to be out, either due to the power outage in Angel Grove or Main Drain's energy drain on the Zeo Megazord.
  • When Alpha said he was teleporting the damaged Zeo Megazord back to the repair bay, the Rangers were shown riding in their seats back up the tracks inside the Megazord before entering the Power Chamber through the west double doors.

    419-Chal

  • Billy could monitor Tommy's concentration in the Red Battlezord from the Power Chamber.

    426-ASTR

  • Around Christmastime, the Power Chamber's exterior had Christmas lights all over it; inside was a Christmas tree, holly leaves, and Christmas lights, and on the Pink Ranger's head in the gallery was a Santa hat; there was a large red bow on the base of Zordon's tube.

    427-GHnr

  • Billy and Alpha used the Power Chamber's disrupter ray, a red energy beam shot out of the main tube of the Power Chamber's exterior, to destroy the Machine Skybase's power source, destroying all of the active invisibility medallions and the Machine Empire's new fleet of ships in the process.

    428-PwOG

  • Pyramidas's approaching Earth caused interference over the Power Chamber's communication system and caused the lights and consoles to flicker briefly.

    433-RvOG

  • Mondo had Klank set up a deflector field around the Power Chamber as Trey approached; when a blue energy barrier surrounded the Power Chamber's exterior, Billy briefly went into the northwest doorway to discover that the "Command Center" had been encased in a unidirectional nuclear reflective shield.
  • Billy eventually managed to eliminate the forcefield around the Power Chamber.

    434-GHom

  • To energize the Golden Power Staff and buy the teens more time to find a new Gold Ranger, the staff was in a bed of glowing red crystal, just inside the western double door alcove of the Power Chamber, with only the pink Zeo Subcrystal visible in the bed; the others may have been present but obscured by the other thin, pointy crystals in the group.
  • When Tommy and Jason were running toward the Power Chamber, presumably having come from Angel Grove, they headed due north.
  • When Jason held the glowing Golden Power Staff over the Super Zeo Gems, they rose from the box shining with gold light; as Alpha told the Rangers that the Super Zeozords were forming and that they must get to them, the glowing gems flew toward the eastern double doors of the Power Chamber, and the six Rangers and Billy chased after them; outside in the desert, the Super Zeozords were waiting for the Rangers.

    437-SOAW

  • The Power Chamber's exterior was able to beam a broad green transmission beam from its top, like the Command Center had been able to do.

    447-RTW1

  • In the Power Chamber, Cestro's regenerator cannon sparked and malfunctioned as Cestro tried to operate it, and then moments later, a Power Chamber console exploded with sparks, destroying the teleportation unit.

    448-RTW2

  • Tommy tried to fix the Power Chamber's broken teleportation unit beneath a panel on the console, but the locator chips still weren't online, preventing Alpha from getting a lock on Billy.
  • Cestro's final touch to repair the broken teleportation system of the Power Chamber was to smash the control panel with his fist, causing it to work.
  • An unknown number of days later, the Power Chamber received a transmission from Billy on Aquitar, but the strength of the transmission had been compromised by the recent overuse of the Aquitians' teleportation systems.

    450-Good

  • Zordon said there was only one possibility to reunite the Treys that he was aware of, but it could prove very dangerous: an interplanetary unification beam would be used to create a positive energy flow between the planets Triforia, Aquitar, and Earth; the beam had to be reflected off the planets at specific points in their orbits and returned to Earth with exact precision, and if the beam struck Earth without first hitting the Golden Power Staff at exactly the right time, Jason and the Treys could be destroyed.
  • Once the three planets were in alignment, Zordon had Alpha fire the beam, which was a green energy blast from the Power Chamber's main external cylinder; the blast bounced off a southern area on Aquitar, then bounced off a southern area on Triforia, and finally headed back to Earth, where it struck the Golden Power Staff, simultaneously reuniting the Treys and returning to Trey the completely restored Gold Ranger powers (see "Gold Ranger" page for details).

    500-TPRM

  • The Power Chamber, though it had the same layout, was vastly redesigned: the consoles were all much sleeker, there was a black rolling chair at the west console, the east console had been replaced by the new medical table, the side entrances' jagged doorways now had three moving sections per doorway (and they were closed), and above the redesigned northern two monitors was a trapezoid of six panels which would be used as the new alarm, in addition to a complete visual overhaul.
  • The gallery now had five tubes rather than seven, and each was filled with a different Zeo/Turbo color, in the left-to-right order blue, green, red, yellow, and pink; the railing in front of the gallery was gone.
  • The Power Chamber's exterior now looked identical to the Command Center exterior from MMPR: The Movie; it would only appear this way in 500-TPRM, as it would have its original appearance back starting with 501-SIT1; furthermore, this alternate appearance did not appear in the flashback of 500-TPRM in 501-SIT1.
  • On a panel on the western console was a readout labeled "Structural Integrity," and to the right of that was a panel labeled "Enable."
  • When Zordon told Tommy and Kat to equip themselves with the Power Boxes, the eastern Power Chamber doors opened to reveal a closet-sized area containing the five Power Boxes on the wall, with green, pink, and red on the top row, and yellow and blue on the bottom row; these doors were not, however, supposed to lead into a closet, but rather a hallway.
  • When the four teens created their Turbozords using the Power Chamber's controls, Kat, Adam, and Alpha worked the main console while Tanya sat at the western console; Tommy (soon joined by Tanya) walked from Tanya's console to the main console, saying, "Level stabilizers off 8.40. Full throttle the power output."; Kat replied that all systems were go, and the Turbozords were then created.
  • After the Turbozords had been created, they were in car-sized form in an adjoining, smoke-filled room of indeterminate size; the room, connected to the Power Chamber with the Power Chamber's western door, had a smooth floor and a blue light somewhere in the distance.
  • The Turbozords' being in a room elsewhere in the Power Chamber was verified by the flashback in 501-SIT1.

    501-SIT1

  • The gallery tubes were now in the order blue, yellow, red, pink, green.

    502-SIT2

  • On the Power Chamber's main console was a panel labeled "Signal Scan," and Justin used the controls to make a Turbo Navigator appear from blue energy from the panel.

    524-VAct

  • Just as Alpha called the teens in regard to recent vanishings in Angel Grove, Translucitor made the Power Chamber, Alpha, and Dimitria vanish as well, shifting them into an alternate dimension of invisibility.
  • The Power Chamber was normally above ground.
  • While invisible and intangible, the Power Chamber had several boulders in the middle of the floor - boulders which by the teens' perspective were scattered across the otherwise flat area of mountain.

    525-WTFO

  • The Power Chamber and everyone inside were immune to Clockster's reversal of time.
  • When Clockster touched the freeze key curiously as it was freezing the Earth, time stopped; again, the Power Chamber and everyone inside were immune, but the three Rangers and their Turbozords, outside, were suspended in time.
  • After morphing and teleporting to the cave, Carlos and Justin were able to move for a few seconds, but then they too became frozen in time.

    542-RivR

  • After T.J. had been perplexed by Elgar's remark that the Rangers would need Lightning Cruiser, Carlos went to check with Alpha if the "Command Center" sensors could find anything.

    543-P&Pc

  • The western console of the Power Chamber had a printer slot.
  • On the right side of the western console was a "Structural Integrity" display section.

    544-CIS1

  • Walking through the desert, Elgar, Rygog, and Piranhatrons saw the Rangers streak overhead through the sky on their way to the Power Chamber and followed them over the horizon, finding the Power Chamber over a set of mountains.
  • The sensors apparently didn't detect Divatox and her army setting up in the desert at the base of the Power Chamber's mountain, but when they charged immediately after Dimitria and Blue Senturion had left, Alpha suddenly realized they'd been discovered.
  • As the Rangers stood in the western doorway in preparation to try to fend off Divatox's invasion, T.J. told Alpha to open the outer doors, and the Rangers then headed down a hallway leading to the north within the western doorway.
  • At the end of a corridor, two massive doors swung open, inward, to let the Rangers run straight out the front of the Power Chamber's exterior; the entrance was located in the shorter rectangular structure on the left side of the Power Chamber's front.

    545-CIS2

  • Just to the left of the outer doors, looking at the doors from the outside, was a knee-high circular stone wall, as might contain a fountain, but filled instead with dirt and half-buried boulders; more large stones lay outside this wall.
  • Overwhelmed by the army of Piranhatron, the Rangers retreated into the Power Chamber and sealed the outer doors before the Piranhatron could get inside; T.J. activated an electronic lock on the inside of the doors, saying the security lock was enabled.
  • Back in the main room, T.J. asked Alpha whether they still had shields, but the robot replied that they were totally gone; what had caused the shields to disappear is unknown, though the fall of Eltar, the source of the Rangers' powers, may have had something to do with it.
  • After Piranhatron had scaled the Power Chamber's exterior with grappling hooks, one of them smashed a camera on the roof with its sledgehammer.
  • The Power Chamber had gravel on top of its roof; there was a tree off to one side of the building.
  • After the Piranhatron had broken into the outer doors with a battering ram, they soon began pounding on the inner Power Chamber doors from both sides.
  • As the Rangers stood ready to defend the side doors, Piranhatrons crashed in through the roof (breaking unseen ceiling lighting, making the room dark) and slid down ropes from above, after which the other Piranhatrons forced open the side doors.
  • Flames were soon on the walls and control panels during the chaotic brawl in the main room.
  • Piranhatron knocked over control panels, smashed things in the walls, and generally made a giant mess of the place.
  • Entering the Power Chamber, Elgar spotted Zordon's and Dimitria's empty plasma tube; if he destroyed it, he said, they couldn't come back, so he threw a Piranhatron's hammer into the tube, shattering it.
  • Mist poured out of the shattered tube, and blue electricity crackled through it.
  • Elgar planted explosive devices from a case all over the Power Chamber's interior, including two on the red gallery tube.
  • Light-colored smoke was coming from the Power Chamber's top as Divatox prepared to detonate it.
  • Divatox pushed a control button which blew up the entire Power Chamber with the Rangers and Piranhatron inside.
  • As the helmetless Rangers stood together in the rubble of the recently-demolished Power Chamber, their torn and dirty suits vanished with bright light, leaving the teens unmorphed and dirty, with their clothes having slices in the same places as the power suits had been damaged; Cassie observed that their powers were gone.
  • The teens' communicators still worked, despite the loss of the Power Chamber and the Turbo powers.

    Power Chamber entrances

    401-AZB1

  • According to the Power Chamber map on the northern monitor, the thin, northwest doorway took a right turn, at which point there was a narrow hallway which appeared to be a dead end.

    402-AZB2

  • Both of the two large double doors on the west and east sides of the Power Chamber consisted of what looked like large, jagged, interlocking, sliding doors that were always open; a short distance beyond these large, jagged doors were a smaller set of ordinary sliding doors.
  • The very short lengths of hallway which separated the jagged, large double doors of the west and east exits from the inner sliding doors bore the same golden vents and large beams as had been all throughout the tunnels beneath the Command Center.

    403-ShSt

  • Upon teleporting to the Power Chamber, the five teens materialized in the east entrance and walked to the center of the room.
  • Billy and Alpha were shown walking in from the direction of the east entrance as Billy protested the Rangers' using the Zeozords before they could be tested.
  • When the Zeozords were being defeated by Staroid, Billy rushed into the Power Chamber's main room from the thin, northwest entrance, saying the Zeozords' main circuits were near overload.

    404-Trgt

  • To tell Zordon that the Zeo Battle Helmets were ready for a test run, Billy entered from the northwest entrance.

    408-PuBl

  • As Tommy, Kat, and Rocky called the Power Chamber after evil Puppetman had turned the kids in the Youth Center into brats, Billy walked in through the Power Chamber's eastern sliding doors, holding what looked like a handheld scanner.
  • Beyond the eastern sliding doors was a tiled wall, presumably belonging to a hallway which ran north/south.

    419-Chal

  • Returning from the first fight with Punchabunch, the four helmetless Rangers walked to the center of the Power Chamber from behind the railing of the east side of the gallery, but there was no entrance visible in that area.

    427-GHnr

  • As Billy explained the powers of the medallion they'd found, he, Tommy, Kat, and Rocky walked into the Power Chamber's main room from the eastern double doors.

    428-PwOG

  • Mysteriously returning after the Gold Ranger's battle with Wolfbane, Billy entered through the western double doors.

    431-RBye

  • Billy entered and exited through the eastern double doors multiple times while mysteriously vanishing just before the Gold Ranger would help the Rangers.

    432-DIKY

  • The Rangers entered the Power Chamber from the western double doors upon returning from battle; Billy then entered from the eastern double doors.

    433-RvOG

  • After Pyramidas had gone down on Aquitar, Billy and Tanya scanned for Pyramidas in the Power Chamber; Adam (who had been with Tanya earlier) soon rushed in from the western double doors, saying they had to help Gold Ranger.
  • The helmetless Rangers entered from the eastern double doors after battle.

    434-GHom

  • After being teleported to the Power Chamber, Tommy and then Jason walked in from a hallway to the south beyond the eastern double doors.
  • The hallway beyond the western double doors led both north and south.

    447-RTW1

  • The teens walked into the Power Chamber from the eastern double doors.
  • After recounting how he'd aged rapidly, old Billy suddenly got an idea and walked away into the northwest exit of the Power Chamber; he was soon at the Juice Bar with Kat looking through the lost-and-found box, explaining that although he hadn't lost any devices at the Youth Center before, he had to check all the possibilities; the two eventually returned through the same doorway.
  • The six Rangers walked in through the eastern double doors after their battle with giant Impursonator.

    500-TPRM

  • One of the many changes to the Power Chamber was that the side entrances' jagged doorways now had three moving sections per doorway, and they were normally closed.
  • After Lerigot had landed on Earth, Alpha walked in from the northwestern entrance to tell Zordon of Lerigot's arrival.
  • After the Turbozords had been created, the western doors opened to reveal an adjoining, smoke-filled room of indeterminate size; the room had a smooth floor and a blue light somewhere in the distance; the Turbozords were in car-sized form inside this room.
  • In what seemed to be the evening after the national championship, the teens, Jason, Rocky, and perhaps Kim as well seemed to be saying goodbye to Lerigot, Yara, and Bethel in the Power Chamber after they had appeared to emerge from the northwestern hallway, the door of which slid shut behind them.

    503-SIT3

  • After Lerigot had left once Zordon and Alpha Five's sparkles had made it through the wormhole, Alpha Six walked into the Power Chamber from the northwest doorway, the door of which was open unless otherwise noted.

    504-Shad

  • After teleporting away from the battle with the Shadow Rangers, Tommy walked into the Power Chamber from the mist-filled hallway which was beyond the western doors.

    505-TrIm

  • The side doors were now regularly open, revealing (without any obscuring mist) the closet-like areas just like the area beyond the eastern doors in which the Power Boxes had been kept in 500-TPRM.
  • Although the doors were normally kept open, they would occasionally be shown opening so that teens could walk into the main room after teleporting into one of the alcoves, which were sometimes fill with mist.

    519-PTT2

  • When Dimitria reminded the teens of their ultimate (presumably as in "final") mission, the northwest door slid up, revealing a fairly large hourglass on a pedestal inside the doorway, apparently counting down to the imminent power transfer ceremony.
  • When Dimitria said it was time for the ceremony (in which the old teens passed on their powers to the new teens), Alpha opened the western doors, and the teens and Alpha went into the flashing mist beyond, then ended up in the ceremony chamber, which strongly resembled the ruins of the Command Center.

    542-RivR

  • When Sharkzord attacked the next day, T.J. and Carlos were already in the Power Chamber when Ashley teleported in near the gallery wall, and Cassie and Justin then ran in from the western doors, which opened for their arrival.

    544-CIS1

  • Immediately after Dimitria had mentioned she and Blue Senturion were going to Eltar, Blue Senturion entered from the western doors and told Dimitria he was ready.
  • As the Rangers stood in the western doorway in preparation to try to fend off Divatox's invasion, T.J. told Alpha to open the outer doors, and the Rangers then headed down a hallway leading to the north within the western doorway.

    545-CIS2

  • After the Piranhatron had broken into the Power Chamber's outer doors with a battering ram, they soon began pounding on the inner doors from both sides; after more Piranhatron had broken in through the ceiling, the ones at the side doors forced the doors open and swarmed in.

  • The chamber was a large solid black area with a misty black floor, boulders in piles, some boulders glowing with yellow energy, and the old Command Center columns.
  • The teens looked around curiously as they walked in, indicating they hadn't seen the place before.
  • In the front of the room was a particularly massive pile of boulders; on either side of the pile was an array of vertically-arranged thin gold light strips, similar to those used in the Command Center; from behind the pile came bright flashes of light and the rumbling of thunder; on the front of the pile was the Morphin' lightning bolt, flashing between the five Turbo colors the cycle blue, red, yellow, pink, green.
  • Zordon's head appeared above the base of a tube like the one in the Power Chamber, but with no blue tube; on either side were the neon light columns as used in the Command Center; Alpha Five soon appeared in front of the tube with white energy.
  • In the chamber, Dimitria appeared from the waist up above a cluster of four Command Center columns with various colors of neon rings, not just blue and purple.
  • Behind the old teens was a starry background as had been in the Command Center, along with several Command Center neon columns.
