  • When Astronema realized that Elgar had lost important data discs, she grabbed Elgar and told him it was time to play with Scrudley; Quantrons covered their eyes as a screaming Elgar was locked into a cell nearby with a monster with two glowing red eyes.

    610-Wasp

  • Storming through the Dark Fortress with Elgar following her taking notes after Sting King's destruction, Astronema told him no more insects, but future insect monsters would include Destructipede and Behemoth in 612-GrEv, Mamamite and Termitus in 613-Grma, and the Praying Mantis in 622-SvSc.

    612-GrEv

  • Destructipede was able to summon five monsters (Powerdriller, Fearog, Clawhammer, Sting King, and Behemoth) to occupy the Rangers; when defeated, these monsters could vanish and immediately reappear (or merely rise back onto their feet after falling), ready to continue fighting.
  • The five monsters attacked the distracted Astro Delta Megazord, but it knocked them away and then fired its flying power punches, which destroyed Destructipede, at which point the five other monsters crackled with blue electricity, then fell over and exploded as well.

    621-Envy

  • When Elgar teased Astronema about both the Silver Ranger and Darkonda still being alive, she had the Quantrons take him to play with Scrudley.

  • Astronema sent Electrotramp to Angel Grove, and he began to drain the city's power from a turbine at the power plant.
  • Electrotramp had the black body of a Varox and the head of a robotic police officer monster.
  • The Rangers fought Electrotramp ineffectively with their special weapons, and he then threw a blue sphere of energy, with small electrical bolts crackling inside it, at the Rangers, making Andros declare that the monster was too powerful.
  • Suddenly, the Ninja Turtles flew to the scene as green energy streaks just in time to deflect another of Electrotramp's energy spheres, then materialized in front of the Rangers.
  • Seeing the Ninja Turtles, Electrotramp confusedly asked, "Mutants?"
  • The Turtles fought the monster together; when he threw another energy sphere at them, they bounced it between each other, with Venus eventually kicking it back at Electrotramp, destroying him.

    642-CTD1

  • Electrotramp was among Rita and Zedd's army on a planet in the Vica Galaxy.

    606-SatS

  • While Elgar and Quantrons fought the teens on the volcanic planet Kalderon while they were all searching for a downed satellite, giant Clawhammer roared in the distance, making Elgar retreat.
  • Nearby, Astronema threatened to feed Elgar to Clawhammer if he didn't find the satellite before the Rangers.
  • After defeating the Rangers, Astronema had them chained up on the ground, intending to let Clawhammer eat the Rangers rather than personally destroying them now.
  • Clawhammer, a giant lobster-like monster, stomped in once the villains had left.
  • Unlike most monsters, Clawhammer demonstrated no language abilities.
  • Clawhammer threw a spinning yellow energy blade from his claw at the Megazord.
  • After grabbing the Astro Megazord Saber in its claw, giant Clawhammer slashed a gash into the Megazord's chest, left shoulder, and left hip, then knocked it off a cliff so that it almost fell into a lava pit.
  • After slashing at the Megazord a bit, Clawhammer charged its claw with bluish-white energy and swung down at the Megazord's head, but it blocked with its arm as the Rangers took control from Alpha.
  • After punching Clawhammer away from the pit and climbing up, the Megazord kicked Clawhammer in the groin four times in a row, headbutted it twice, then swung it around by its antennae until they snapped off; the Megazord then threw the monster into the lava pit, where it exploded.

    612-GrEv

  • After the Rangers' Astro Blaster lasers had made Powerdriller, summoned by Destructipede, fall over and vanish, Fearog and Clawhammer (normal-sized) blocked their path, then Powerdriller reappeared, joined by Sting King and Behemoth, surrounding the Rangers.
  • Despite the destruction caused by giant Destructipede, the Rangers continued fighting the five normal-sized monsters with their special weapons, with Pink fighting Clawhammer.
  • Once defeated, the five monsters then suddenly rose to their feet again, startling the Rangers.
  • The five monsters were giant when the Astro Delta Megazord arrived; its Gyro Blasters shot all five monsters, making them vanish, but they immediately reappeared.
  • The five monsters attacked the distracted Astro Delta Megazord after it had spotted giant Destructipede, but the Megazord knocked them away and then fired its flying power punches, which destroyed Destructipede, at which point the five other monsters crackled with blue electricity, then fell over and exploded as well.

    607-ARAT

  • Voltage Hog was on the Dark Fortress, addressing Astronema as the "dark princess of space" and telling her his name.
  • Astronema told Voltage Hog to go hog some voltage and then destroy the Rangers once he was fully-charged; the monster then teleported away.
  • As Bulk, Skull, and Professor Phenomenus were distracted while on a stakeout near some giant power lines in the park in which they thought a rabbit was an alien, Voltage Hog appeared beside the rabbit and shooed it away; the three were then terrified to find the monster having taken the place of the rabbit.
  • Once the three had run off, Voltage Hog then turned to the large power line tower nearby and had blue electricity flow from it into his body.
  • Confronted at a power center by Andros, Voltage Hog soon retreated from his attacks.
  • Soon, in a large junkyard, Voltage Hog appeared just before Chuck rounded a corner to see him, startling him; this was where Andros had just been while storming away from the thieves.
  • Voltage Hog turned and growled, then charged Chuck, grabbing him and throwing him against a truck, then picking him and hurling him a long distance into another truck.
  • Andros tried to fight Voltage Hog while unmorphed, but David and Susie knocked the monster over with a tire and a bin, then retreated with Andros, at which point Voltage Hog vanished.
  • Near another power station beside a field and small stream, Voltage Hog appeared from blue electricity from the power lines, and more electricity flowed into the cable-like tentacles near his head.
  • Andros was stopped from fighting Voltage Hog by Ecliptor; once the Rangers had defeated Ecliptor, however, they eventually attacked Voltage Hog nearby.
  • A white energy barrier around Voltage Hog absorbed the Astro Blasters' lasers, and the monster then fired blue energy beams from his antennae, making a large explosion around the Rangers; Andros realized he'd been charging up during their fight with Ecliptor.
  • Voltage Hog absorbed more electricity and blasted eyebolts at the Rangers, with a blue energy beam from his right eye and a red energy bolt from his left.
  • Invisible sonic waves from Cassie's Satellite Stunner made the monster spark and roar in pain.
  • Two successive Quadroblaster blasts, joined by several Astro Blaster lasers, broke off Voltage Hog's right neck tentacle, and the Satellasers then enlarged him.
  • Voltage Hog's remaining tentacle extended and latched onto the Megazord, but the Megazord slung the monster around by the tentacle until it let go.
  • The Megazord hurled its glowing yellow saber straight at the monster, impaling it in the right shoulder, where the tentacle connected, and electrocuting the monster with blue energy bolts.
  • When Andros activated the "saber ignition," Voltage Hog sparked and fell over, then exploded.

  • Unlike most monsters, Elephantitan demonstrated no language abilities.
  • Later, the Satellasers eventually enlarged Elephantitan, and he continued to push on the building.
  • After blasting the Blue and Black Rangers with flaming yellow eyebeams, Elephantitan finally pushed over the building, but by now, the plutonium had been neutralized.
  • The Astro Megazord Saber destroyed giant Elephantitan.

    Waspicable
    - kind-hearted bee monster used by Astronema
    Waspicable
You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / PRiS monsters
    First Appearance: 610-Wasp
    Last Appearance: 721-Heir

    610-Wasp

  • In a forest, Waspicable, looking like Grumble Bee but with buck teeth and metal underwear with a tiny stinger in back, dreamily admired some wildflowers, humming and skipping, wondering why he hadn't been born a honeybee.
  • Waspicable loved the yellow flowers best of all.
  • Sting King and Quantrons searched through the forest and found Waspicable, with Sting King angrily asking what in the hive he was doing.
  • Swatting the flowers from Waspicable's hands, Sting King told him, "You're the evil Waspicable! You don't pick flowers!"
  • As Waspicable blubbered, Sting King told him he needed to roar and fire lasers; he then blasted a tree.
  • Sting King demanded that Waspicable stand up and show him what he had; Waspicable insisted that he couldn't be like him and blow things up, since it was so loud and messy and it made people mad, but when Sting King poked his rear with his stinger arm, he fired clouds of orange energy bees from his eyes, making a rock nearby explode into pieces.
  • Sting King told Waspicable just had to do that to the Power Rangers and put his name in the history books; impressed with this idea, Waspicable declared that he was as evil as they came.
  • As Professor Phenomenus, Bulk, and Skull rested behind a tree in the woods after running from bees in a beehive, Waspicable said to them, "Hello, boys."
  • Terrified, the three ran, and Waspicable amusedly fired several eyeblasts at the ground behind them and delightedly chased after them, calling out for them to wait for him.
  • At his RV, the Professor fumbled with his keys to unlock the door as Waspicable approached and blasted near them, remarking if "they" wanted evil, he'd show them evil.
  • When Waspicable charged, they ran around to the other side of the van; when the monster looked under the van and then leapt out at them, just their stiff pants and shoes remained, and they were sneaking away pantsless, but they screamed once they were discovered.
  • Waspicable told them to go ahead and run some more, as this was great, at which point Pink Ranger leapt in and kicked the monster back.
  • Waspicable was quite awed to see the Pink Ranger, but he then composed himself and began speaking with typical evil dialogue.
  • After dodging Waspicable's bee blasts, Cassie shot him with two consecutive beams, hurting his feelings, to which she replied, "Are you kidding? You're a monster! What did you expect me to do?"
  • As he charged, Waspicable dodged another Satellite Stunner blast, pounded her, and then aimed the weapon at her as she lay on the ground; his hand then trembled, and he sobbed and admitted he couldn't do it.
  • Cassie was amazed that Waspicable was a monster with a heart, and he tried to prove monsters didn't have hearts by aiming the weapon at her again, yet he still couldn't bring himself to fire, calling himself a failure.
  • As Cassie reassured the monster that it was good he hadn't fired, the other Rangers leapt in and prepared to blast him; Cassie quickly stopped them, explaining that the monster hadn't destroyed her despite having had the chance.
  • Frustrated and confused because Pink Ranger was supposed to be his enemy, Waspicable flew off as a yellow speck of light; Cassie was surprised to realize she'd hurt his feelings.
  • In the park, Waspicable watched from behind the bushes as a man at an outdoor popsicle stand bought some food.
  • Saying he didn't have a heart and was an evil monster, Waspicable imagined jumping in and scaring the man, who would flip over his table in panic, but when Waspicable actually leapt and turned the man around, it was an old man who spilled his food in panic, and Waspicable apologized and tried to help him with it, but he scurried away.
  • Waspicable felt guilty and cried on his knees for almost attacking an old man; he said he needed to be evil but didn't know how.
  • Later, Waspicable watched happily as Cassie helped with young Sherry's birthday party in the park; the monster remarked that he loved parties, then considered that maybe he did have a heart and wasn't cut out to be a monster.
  • Telling him he didn't have a heart since he was a monster, Ecliptor walked up with Quantrons, wanting to know why he hadn't yet attacked the Power Rangers
  • Waspicable stuttered that he'd been studying the Pink Ranger, planning an attack; outraged, Ecliptor slammed him in the stomach with the butt of his sword, making him double over and whine.
  • Ecliptor ordered him to attack now, at which point he went out blasting at the party with his eyeblasts.
  • When a Quantron deliberately released Sherry's precious balloons, Waspicable felt terrible, and he then watched with concern as he saw that Cassie was quite outnumbered by the Quantrons.
  • When Cassie was captured, Ecliptor ordered Waspicable to blast Pink Ranger, and he thought for a moment, then as she cringed, he blasted a Quantron on one side of her.
  • Waspicable claimed to have missed, so Ecliptor shoved him down and prepared to strike her with his sword, but when Astronema had him stop, with Sting King saying the Pink Ranger was his, Ecliptor backed off.
  • Sting King prepared to blast Cassie, but Waspicable jumped in the way of the blast; then, as the hail of lasers continued to buffet him, Waspicable charged toward Sting King and tackled him despite Cassie's screams of protest.
  • As the villains regrouped, Cassie freed herself and rushed over to the fallen Waspicable, where she sobbed to the others once they'd arrived that he'd saved her.
  • Soon, Waspicable had managed to get to his feet, and Cassie told him he'd done his part and to go some place safe.
  • Near some bushes in the park after Sting King's destruction, Waspicable was on one knee clutching his chest.
  • When she ran up, Waspicable painfully told Cassie he was okay.
  • Cassie thanked him for his help, and he apologized, saying he'd just wanted to be good at something rather than hurt anyone; he still didn't think he was much of a monster and felt he was a failure.
  • Cassie explained that being nice wasn't a failure, but rather the exact opposite; Waspicable said it might not be a failure if he were human, but he didn't even know what he was anymore.
  • Seeing Sherry crying as she and her mom walked back up to the trashed picnic area, Waspicable sobbed as well, tears pouring down his face, then flew off with determination.
  • Andros wondered whether the monster would stay good or turn evil, and the teens watched from a hill above as Waspicable, as a speck of light, returned Sherry's balloons to her, delighting her.
  • Cassie had a feeling Waspicable would be good, forever.

    721-Heir

  • Waspicable was among the aliens, mutated humans, and animal-based monsters in the Onyx Tavern.

  • As Waspicable blubbered, Sting King told him he needed to roar and fire lasers; he then shot from his stinger arm a rapid series orange lasers at a tree, making the Quantrons clap.
  • Sting King demanded that Waspicable stand up and show him what he had; Waspicable insisted that he couldn't be like him and blow things up, since it was so loud and messy and it made people mad, but when Sting King poked his rear with his stinger arm, he fired energy blasts which make a rock nearby explode.

  • Just then, Astronema, walking up with Sting King, had him stop, with Sting King saying the Pink Ranger was his, and Ecliptor backed off.
  • Sting King prepared to blast Cassie, but Waspicable jumped in the way of the blast; then, as the hail of lasers continued to buffet him, Waspicable charged toward Sting King and tackled him despite Cassie's screams of protest.
  • As the villains regrouped, Cassie freed herself and rushed over to the fallen Waspicable.
  • Once the other Rangers had arrived, Ecliptor told Sting King to destroy the whole city, then the rest of the villains vanished, and Sting King flew away laughing.
  • From space, Sting King fired a blue energy bolt from his stinger arm at Angel Grove, generating an expanding white impact burst the size of the United States or bigger, and enormous explosions caused incredible devastation downtown, toppling buildings and shattering bridges.
  • Invisible in space as the Rangers flew up, Sting King blasted them with his energy bolt.
  • Carlos told Cassie to use her Satellite Stunner to pinpoint his exact location; she fired some ring beams until she hit Sting King, making him visible again.
  • When the Rangers shot their five weapons in Booster Mode, their Ranger-colored energy beams merged into a central point, from which a gold energy sphere blasted Sting King, sending him falling to a forest on Earth.
  • When the Rangers ran up, Sting King released from his stinger arm a swarm of bees which stung the Rangers, making their suits spark, but a blast in the stinger arm from Black Ranger's Astro Blaster made all the bees fall and vanish.
  • The Rangers all attacked with their weapons, with a charged slash from Black Ranger's Lunar Lance seeming to destroy Sting King.
  • Despite his apparent destruction, Sting King was revived and enlarged by the Satellasers.
  • Downtown, giant Sting King spun around, blasting randomly with yellow eyebeams, making explosions throughout the city.
  • The Astro Megazord Blaster's beam made giant Sting King crackle in defeat, then fly up into the sky as a shimmering black and gold energy sphere with a red ring; it then exploded.

    612-GrEv

  • After the Rangers' Astro Blaster lasers had made Powerdriller, summoned by Destructipede, fall over and vanish, Fearog and Clawhammer blocked their path, then Powerdriller reappeared, joined by Sting King and Behemoth, surrounding the Rangers.

    619-IOBS

  • Frustrated by not getting the chance to knock Andros out on the Megaship bridge, Astronema pointed at a monitor on the "Computer Systems" console, and it suddenly showed giant Sting King rampaging in Angel Grove, even though DECA's sensors detected no monster.

    613-Grma

  • Mamamite told Astronema that millions of her eggs had been buried beneath the streets of Angel Grove, and that they would hatch and destroy the city very soon.
  • Astronema was extremely impatient, wanting them to hatch now, and Mamamite left to see what she could do.
  • In a plaza downtown, Mamamite, thinking this should definitely speed things up, bored into the concrete with a small drill on her arm and told her eggs it was time to wake up and that they were going to have some fun with the Power Rangers today.
  • On the Dark Fortress, Ecliptor soon brought Astronema the bad news that the Rangers had destroyed Mamamite and that they would have to wait for the eggs to hatch.
  • Initially annoyed, Astronema was then pleased by the thought of Angel Grove being their first meal when they did hatch.
  • Later in the day, the ground rumbled, and in the plaza downtown, cracks formed in the ground; a swarm of rodent-sized termites crawled out and, as a flying cloud, rapidly dissolved a lamppost and then in seconds completely ate all of a car nearby except the tires.
  • The cloud flew over the teens and Mrs. Hammond briefly, then flew away and instantly completely devoured a very large building in the distance, perhaps a hospital.
  • The Rangers blasted at the termites on the ground and on a lamppost, but the lasers had no apparent effect.
  • Carlos thought for some reason that the termites were still hatching, perhaps seeing more coming from the ground (not shown).
  • Their Astro Blaster lasers ineffective, the Rangers charged with their special weapons, which were promptly chewed to pieces (and the Astro Blasters completely dissolved away) when the swarm enveloped the Rangers briefly; Andros was astonished, saying the weapons were made from hardened universal steel.
  • After Astronema had ordered for the Rangers to be destroyed, the cloud of termites again swarmed around the Rangers briefly, then assembled into the Termitus monster.
  • Termitus shot green eyebeams.
  • When morphed Ashley had her Astro Blaster aimed at Termitus after blasting him, he shot the blaster from her hand with his eyebeams, then lifted her to him with blue energy bolts from his hand and threw her aside.
  • Mrs. Hammond struck Termitus in her stolen police car, and when she swerved around, he stood and told her she was biting off more than she could chew; as she raced at him again, he blasted the car, making her swerve out of control.
  • Soon running at Termitus, Yellow Ranger blasted him with her Star Slinger, his eyebeams missing her repeatedly, then temporarily defeated him with her Battle Blade attack.
  • Fighting the Astro Megazord, giant Termitus could turn into a termite cloud to dodge attacks and then re-form nearby.
  • Termitus soon turned into a cloud and swarmed onto the Megazord; the bugs, which were now possibly half the length of the Megazord's hand, covered the Megazord.
  • The Delta Megazord's Gyro Blasters shot the bugs off, and they re-formed into giant Termitus.
  • The Astro Delta Megazord froze Termitus solid with a stream of gas from the Astro Megazord Blaster, then used its flying power punches to shatter the monster into nothingness.

  • Termitus was among the aliens, mutated humans, and animal-based monsters in the Onyx Tavern.

    732-PQsS

  • Termitus was also at an auction on Onyx which featured the lost pink Quasar Saber, for which he was one of the bidders.

    Barillian Bug

  • Taking out a large pod from the sack he was carrying as he watched the three teens fighting Ecliptor's Quantrons, Darkonda said he knew a much faster way to finish off a Ranger; he then threw the pod into the air and slashed it in half with his sword, and a Barillian Bug, a flying brown insect approximately the size of a mouse, flew out.
  • After stinging Carlos on the wrist, making him collapse and grasp his wrist in agony, the bug landed on the ground and tumbled to a stop, apparently dead.
  • Carlos immediately had a painful welt with blue veins around it on his arm.
  • Later in the Megaship's infirmary, Ashley used a handheld scanner on a shivering, shirtless Carlos as he lay on the table; he had blue and red veins prominent all through his skin, and the welt on his wrist was now dark red.
  • Later back on the jungle planet as T.J. and Andros pursued him as he held another sack and the first dead bug, Darkonda cut open another pod, and a second Barillian Bug pursued morphed T.J. until Andros shot it down with his Astro Blaster.
  • Andros explained to T.J. that huge swarms of Barillian Bugs had once attacked KO-35; they had been everywhere, stinging without warning; in hours, people stung would turn into Barillian Bug monsters.
  • Their only hope, Andros said, was an antidote developed by scientists on KO-35, and he and T.J. planned to head to KO-35 in hopes of finding some antidote left.
  • Meanwhile in the infirmary, Carlos was spasming slightly with his eyes rolled back in his head, with prominent red and blue veins all over his body.
  • A cracking, oozing sound was heard, and when Carlos was shown partially again, a Barillian Bug monster hand, dripping with dark slime, was on his pants-covered legs.
  • When the girls entered the infirmary, they found Carlos in the form of an unclothed Barillian Bug monster dripping with green slime.
  • Unlike most monsters, Barillian Bug monsters demonstrated no language abilities.
  • Hearing a struggle as they approached the infirmary after soon returning to the Megaship, T.J. and Andros ran in and found Ashley and Cassie having been knocked down, with Alpha sitting motionless on a bench beside the med table.
  • Bug-Carlos had gone into a duct near the ceiling, leaving behind a broken vent and green slime.
  • On the Dark Fortress, Darkonda said the Rangers had gone after the antidote to the Barillian sting; Ecliptor insisted there was no antidote, but Darkonda laughed that there was, on KO-35.
  • Soon, the teens confronted Bug-Carlos in the engine room, where he attacked them, somehow stinging Cassie on the neck during the struggle before escaping.
  • In the workbay, T.J. and Andros were confronted by Bug-Carlos, but they dodged his attacks and escaped into their jump tubes.
  • After transforming, Bug-Cassie broke free from her restraints in the infirmary and left.
  • When Bug-Carlos and Bug-Cassie forced their way into the bridge and approached Ashley, she pleaded for them to stop, not wanting to shoot them, but T.J., arriving just in time, sprayed them each with mist from the antidote gun.
  • After collapsing, the monsters morphed back into Cassie and Carlos.
  • Both teens were fully-clothed after being cured, despite their being unclothed as monsters, and Carlos's being shirtless in the infirmary before originally transforming.
  • Helping Cassie up, Alpha said all of their vital signs seemed to be stable.
  • Cassie and Carlos didn't remember much, if anything, from their experience as monsters.
  • When the other Rangers ran up to help Andros, Darkonda was pleased by their timing, saying they could all watch as he destroyed the last of the antidote, and he threw down and stomped on a plastic capsule of antidote, but surely the Rangers still possessed some antidote, as even if the canister sprayed by T.J. had had only two doses in it, there had been a second canister in the case they'd retrieved.
  • Darkonda pulled out and sliced open another pod, from which flew a Barillian Bug which transformed into a monster form identical to those Carlos and Cassie had assumed.
  • Darkonda enlarged the monster with an orange energy beam from his hand.
  • Upon summoning the saber after pounding the monster, the Megazord glided forward on the ground and sliced through the monster, making it turn into flaming red energy which flew into the sky and exploded.

    721-Heir

  • A Barillian Bug monster was among the aliens, mutated humans, and animal-based monsters in the Onyx Tavern; the monster was playing cards at a table with an ant-like monster.

    727-LxLB

  • Centuries ago before finding the power of evil to be too widespread, Loyax had fought for good; a flashback showed him striking a Barillian Bug monster on a mountainside and declaring, "You will do no more evil, foul monster!"

  • Walking forward after arising from the explosion caused by the Astro Delta Megazord's energy cyclone attack, giant Darkonda suddenly sparked, and a small chunk of his exoskeleton plopped onto the street below, then transformed with yellow energy into a giant monster with a head shaped a bit like a squid; it had mouth tentacles and long claw arms.
  • Unlike most monsters, Mutantrus demonstrated no language abilities.
  • Darkonda and the spawn shot red beams, Darkonda from his eyes and Mutantrus from its forehead.
  • The two attacked, with Mutantrus soon latching onto the Megazord's back and shocking it with blue electricity.

    617-RMVy

  • After the Delta Mega had flown away, leaving the Astro Megazord alone to fight the villains, Astronema ordered Darkonda from the Dark Fortress to send the monster after the Rangers, and giant Mutantrus then flew into space.
  • In space, Mutantrus latched onto the rear of the Delta Megaship with its jaws but was soon sent hurtling away when the ship's afterburners were fired.
  • Later, as the Mega Vehicles flew away from Ganymede, Astronema told Ecliptor to have the monster attack Red Ranger, and it latched onto Mega V-1 as the Mega Vehicles were flying toward Earth.
  • When the hovering V-1 bombarded Mutantrus with its minimissiles, the monster blasted back, making V-1 land, and it then pinned the Zord against a rock wall.
  • When V-1 fired its minimissiles while flying by on V-3 after escaping, Mutantrus was destroyed.

  • Wanting Storm Blaster and saying she had the muscle to back her up, Astronema summoned Lionizer, a robotic lion monster with a bazooka.
  • Lionizer fired his powerful bazooka toward the Rangers but missed.
  • When Storm Blaster raced off, Lionizer prepared to fire after it, but Carlos and Ashley took the hit, after which all of the Rangers were captured by Quantrons.
  • After the Blue Rangers had fought Lionizer after the Rangers had been freed, Storm Blaster matched its energy beam against Lionizer's continually-sparkling energy beam from his bazooka; once the Blue Rangers added their laser beams to the mix, Lionizer was overpowered and knocked outside.
  • Dual blasts from the Quadroblaster and Spiral Saber Booster Mode defeated Lionizer, but the Satellasers revived and enlarged him.
  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Lionizer, apparently by striking him in the head.

  • Astronema had a plan to get aboard the Megaship, and to do so, she summoned the Body Switcher from purple energy bolts from her gauntlets.
  • Body Switcher, a robotic monster, was prone to showing off his body-changing powers by switching between numerous monster forms with purple energy.
  • All of the monsters into which Body Switcher transformed himself were from Big Bad Beetleborgs or Beetleborgs Metallix. (Source: Submitted by Brent Crane)
  • Astronema had Body Switcher make her a Power Ranger, and he said that was an easy one and transformed her to look just like Ashley, even wearing duplicates of the clothes and communicator Ashley was wearing at the time, with the exception of the necklace Andros had just given her; her voice also matched Ashley's.
  • After being captured, the real Ashley was tied with rope to a tree in what looked like the Cirrus Dimension, with Body Switcher thinking of ways to show off his powers for her.
  • Preying on the monster's pride, Ashley challenged him to turn her into Astronema right as Elgar was wandering up.
  • Calling that an easy one, Body Switcher turned Ashley into Astronema, at which point Elgar entered and was shocked to find Astronema tied up; he shoved the monster down and cut the disguised Ashley free as she ordered.
  • Ashley thanked Elgar as he helped her down, then told him to tie up the monster and ran off; only after she'd left did Body Switcher angrily explain that was actually the Yellow Ranger.
  • Rolling on the ground after being blasted by Andros's Astro Blaster, Astronema, morphed as the Yellow Ranger while disguised as Ashley, demorphed with energy (first yellow from the demorph, then purple with sparkles as from Body Switcher's transformation) into Astronema, who dropped Ashley's Astro Morpher, which Andros snatched up.
  • As the two Astronemas struggled on Earth to the confusion of the Rangers, Body Switcher and Ecliptor watched as well, with Body Switcher unable to tell which was the real Astronema.
  • Once revealed, the real Astronema called Body Switcher into battle before storming off.
  • After morphing while looking like Astronema, Ashley's voice would be her own rather than Astronema's, yet when Astronema had been morphed, she'd had Ashley's voice as well.
  • Giant Body Switcher wielded a scythe, but the Mega Voyager was armed with the Astro Megazord Saber, which it used to slash the monster repeatedly.
  • Giant Body Switcher shot red eyebeams.
  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Body Switcher, apparently by striking him in the stomach.
  • After their victory, Ashley was reluctant to remove her helmet, but when she did, she was pleased to find that she was back to normal; Cassie presumed the monster's destruction had removed the spell.

  • On a desert planet called Kadix, the teens were collecting samples of certain pods for an unknown reason.
  • Andros told the teens, "Okay, guys, let's just find one more and that should do it for now."
  • With each of the teens wearing a translucent black sack, full of what looked like wood shavings, and carrying a spade, the teens dug up a good sample, a pod buried in the ground with small vine-like tendrils which had been sticking above the ground.
  • Ashley put the pod into Andros's sack, and he told them to get back to the ship and put it with the others.
  • As the teens walked away, four desert trees turned into brown-cloaked humanoid beings, and dozens of the beings suddenly surrounded the teens silently; fleeing, all of the teens but Andros discarded their sacks.
  • Once they'd gotten somewhat close to the ship, the teens stopped, and Andros had them morph; afterwards, as they fought the beings, Andros slung his sack around like a weapon, apparently not concerned about damaging its contents.
  • Just outside the Megaship, Andros gave Cassie his sack, telling her to get "them" inside, and the Rangers then sealed themselves inside the ship, where Cassie left the objects in the cargo bay.
  • After the ship had lifted off, damage triggered by the Kadix beings' attacks on the exterior panels was causing the accelerators to overheat; in the engine room, the reactor was pulsating, steaming, and sparking.
  • At the time, a white pod in the cargo area nearby was cracked open, and it seemed to open and close on its own.
  • On the bridge minutes later, Andros remembered the sample, and Cassie cheerfully went to get it from the cargo bay.
  • In the cargo area, Cassie found the broken pod and was attacked from above by the fully-grown Lunatick monster; in the struggle, Cassie dropped her Morpher and was lifted up by her arm while reaching for it.
  • The Lunatick monster was capable of speech, but it was in an unknown alien language; this was certainly unique among monsters (and aliens, for that matter).
  • As Cassie ran for the door, Lunatick managed to press a button on the control kiosk which sealed and locked it.
  • Lunatick had four tiny transparent wings on its shoulders.
  • After fighting the monster more, Cassie grabbed her Morpher and, holding onto the kiosk, opened the cargo bay doors slightly, creating a strong vacuum.
  • Lunatick held onto the netting above, but it soon broke, and Cassie shut the doors; finding the doors had shut on the end of the cargo net, Cassie briefly forced the doors open manually for a moment to release the net.
  • As Lunatick attacked panels while clinging to the ship's hull, engine power was failing, and the Megaship fell back toward Kadix; as it crash-landed, the monster was flung from the ship.
  • The Rangers emerged from the sliding door of the Megaship with their weapons and spotted Lunatick; he shouted something in an alien language, and dozens of the cloaked Kadix beings rushed forward to attack.
  • After throwing Cassie as she held the Satellite Stunner, Lunatick shot purple or pink sonic stun waves at the Rangers, just like those shot by the Satellite Stunner.
  • Zhane slashed Lunatick twice with the Super Silverizer 's blade, then did some kick attacks, then did a final stomach slash which made the monster fall over and explode before growing to giant size.
  • When the Astro Megazord landed, the Rangers had trouble finding it, but it then roared from nearby and caused a series of ground explosions which approached the Megazord and then created a sinkhole beneath it, trapping it from the chest down in the ground.
  • The Astro Delta Megazord's flying power punches destroyed giant Lunatick, but as he fell, he uttered something alien just before exploding.

    621-Envy

  • Two Crocotox monsters, one red and one blue, stood in wait as Darkonda schemed in his lab on Dekata 5.
  • The Crocotox were aquatic monsters with dolphin-like heads.
  • In a large tank, numerous white blobs with blue segments were growing in clear spheres.
  • Darkonda told Crocotox to go to Earth and spread his toxins, and the red Crocotox flew to Earth, swimming through space as he went.
  • Then, off Angel Grove Beach, the red Crocotox swam offshore, spreading a dark inklike toxin.
  • As the red Crocotox monster soon stood on the beach, swimmers evacuated from the poisoned water with black spots all over them, and people groaned and collapsed.
  • Crocotox shot a blue energy blob from his mouth at the Rangers.
  • After blasting at the Rangers, Crocotox began to run off, but Andros caught him, and the others attacked, not doing well in hand-to-hand combat against him.
  • The combined laser fire of the five Astro Blasters destroyed the red Crocotox.
  • Darkonda told the Rangers that he had thousands more where the first Crocotox had come from.
  • Shortly, a red Crocotox was standing guard at the entrance of Darkonda's facility on Dekata 5 when the five Rangers flew in over his head; he noted they were finally here.
  • On an upper walkway above, inside, a blue Crocotox fired from his hand a green energy barrier shaped like a ladder; the Rangers slammed into the wall of green lines, trapping them, but their Galaxy Gliders continued flying ahead.
  • The energy lines then turned into a green net around the Rangers.
  • Holding a trident, the red Crocotox told the Rangers they weren't so tough.
  • Darkonda said now that he'd captured the Power Rangers, his army of Crocotoxes would soon conquer the Earth; looking into the vat of eggs, he said they were maturing as they spoke, and soon he would be the next ruler of the universe; with that kind of power, he said, the possibilities were endless.
  • Darkonda told the Crocotoxes to destroy the Rangers, at which point Blue blasted at them twice with his blue energy mouth blobs.
  • As Zhane rode his Silver Cycle into Darkonda's facility, the blue Crocotox generated the same green energy lines, but Zhane just managed to race past the energy barrier before it formed behind him.
  • As Zhane turned a corner and saw a wall which his readings indicated had to be Darkonda's lab, the red Crocotox blocked his path, so he rammed the monster and then smashed his way into the lab.
  • In the lab, Zhane proceeded to blast everything in sight, causing explosions as an outraged Darkonda ducked aside, and chunks of debris fell into the hatchery vat.
  • The red Crocotox stumbled up, and Darkonda told the monster to destroy Silver Ranger.
  • After freeing the Rangers, Andros punched Blue out of the building, where the Rangers confronted him.
  • Upon being knocked down, twitching and sparking from Andros's Battlizer flying punch attack, the blue Crocotox spontaneously grew to giant size.
  • Meanwhile, the fight between Red and Zhane moved outside.
  • Zhane slashed the red Crocotox repeatedly with the Super Silverizer without destroying or defeating it.
  • The Astro Delta Megazord's flying power punches destroyed the giant blue Crocotox.
  • The Super Silverizer 's full-powered energy barrage, followed by its finishing move slash, destroyed the red Crocotox.

    622-SvSc

  • To take advantage of the Silver Ranger's time limit, Astronema summoned the robotic Praying Mantis monster from swirling green energy.
  • Praying Mantis called Astronema his princess.
  • Astronema told Praying Mantis she had an easy assignment for him: destroying the Silver Ranger; the monster protested that the Silver Ranger was one of the most powerful Rangers in the universe, and Astronema agreed, but added that this was only true for two and a half minutes.
  • Downtown, Praying Mantis shot a swirling green energy disc from his new scythe, causing an entire building to explode.
  • As the five Rangers surrounded him, Praying Mantis saw them all at once in five different segments of his insect eyes; he inquired about there only being five.
  • When the Rangers rushed forward, Praying Mantis flew up, making the Rangers slam into each other.
  • Praying Mantis threw a curved green and silver blade, formerly attached to his right shoulder like the one still on the left; the blade struck each of the Rangers before flying back to him.
  • Praying Mantis flew through the air at the Rangers holding both his scythe and blade, then landed with the blade back on his shoulder.
  • After being rammed by Zhane's Silver Cycle after telling the Rangers they were nothing without the Silver Ranger, Praying Mantis blasted Zhane with the spiraling green energy disc from his scythe.
  • Silver Ranger performed his Silverizer 's rushing barrage attack, followed by his slash which was supposed to be a finishing move, but Praying Mantis apparently managed to slash him back, not particularly harmed from the attack.
  • Praying Mantis retreated after Silver Ranger had left and Red and Pink had used their drill and Satellite Stunner attacks on him.
  • When the monster returned to the Dark Fortress after Zhane had retreated from battle when his time limit had expired, Praying Mantis whimpered to the upset Astronema that although Silver Ranger's powers were limited, he was still very strong.
  • After thinking, Astronema put a digital 2:30 timer strip on Praying Mantis's left shoulder blade with a purple energy bolt from her fingertip; she said if he could detain Silver for two and a half minutes, the device would do the rest.
  • As Praying Mantis fought the five Rangers in the forest, he didn't have the timer on his shoulder.
  • Praying Mantis shot a swirling blast from his scythe as normal, but this time it made a huge explosion which flung the Rangers about.
  • When Zhane raced up to help the Rangers, Praying Mantis suddenly had the timer, which began counting as he eyed Zhane.
  • During the fight with Zhane, Praying Mantis struck the ground with his scythe, making a cloud of dust which let him hide.
  • Both curved shoulder blades then flew up and latched tightly onto Zhane, and Praying Mantis apparently used telekinesis to levitate the restrained Zhane approximately fifteen feet into the air.
  • When the timer hit zero, the restraints turned red and exploded, apparently taking Zhane with them, but Zhane would soon fly in on his silver glider, unharmed, to knock the monster out of the air.
  • Praying Mantis, with shattered eyes and without his scythe, was dumbfounded, thinking he'd destroyed the Silver Ranger.
  • Praying Mantis shot a spinning propellor-like green and red energy blast at the Rangers from his hand.
  • Andros's drill attack, Cassie's Satellite Stunner attack, and Zhane's Super Silverizer slash attack, in sequence, apparently destroyed Praying Mantis, but the Satellasers revived and enlarged him.
  • Despite not having any more on his shoulders, giant Praying Mantis threw a curved blade during the fight, but Mega Voyager soon caught it and threw it back.
  • The Mega Voyager's Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Praying Mantis.

  • Downtown, Astronema summoned from orange energy the Destructoid monster, which knocked morphed Zhane off his Silver Cycle.
  • Destructoid was a wild animal monster, a bit like a wolverine.
  • Blasting at Zhane after he'd fought Destructoid well, Astronema accidentally struck Destructoid with one of the blasts, making him howl in pain.
  • Destructoid growled at Astronema, uttering her name, and attacked her and the Quantrons around her, saying no one did that to him.
  • When Destructoid attacked Astronema, she tried to block with her staff, but he threw her aside, apparently knocking her out; alarmed, Zhane leapt onto his silver glider and snatched Astronema from the monster's clutches, flying off with her.
  • After destroying Horror Bull with the Spiral Saber Booster Mode and Quadroblaster, the five Rangers walked off victoriously even though Destructoid was never shown destroyed.

    721-Heir

  • Destructoid was in the street outside the Onyx Tavern (filled with aliens, mutated humans, and animal-based monsters), where he watched the fight between Villamax and three human thugs.

    623-Date

  • The five Rangers fought Horror Bull in a plaza downtown while Astronema watched.
  • Horror Bull was a biological monster, but with black horns with green gridlines just like those covering Ecliptor's body.
  • Although he was blasted by the Astro Blasters, Horror Bull used a crystal in his forehead to record data on the weapons.
  • Horror Bull's jewel scanned again as Andros leapt in and struck with the Spiral Saber.
  • Horror Bull continued scanning as he was blasted by the Spiral Saber Booster Mode, but its blast combined with the Quadroblaster's destroyed the monster.
  • As the Rangers walked off, Horror Bull's jewel vanished from the smoking debris left behind from his destruction.
  • Later in the day, Ecliptor told Astronema that although the Horror Bull had been destroyed, he'd still obtained valuable data on the Rangers' weapons; the plan was to use the information crystal to disable the Rangers' weapons.
  • Later still, Ecliptor inserted the information crystal from the first Horror Bull into the slot in the forehead of a different Horror Bull of a slightly different design, then had Horror Bull attack.
  • In the quarry, the Rangers attacked with their special weapons, but a hexagonal green energy barrier from Horror Bull's crystal repelled the attacks.
  • When the Rangers fired the Spiral Saber Booster Mode and Quadroblaster at Ecliptor, Horror Bull stepped in front of him and reflected the blasts back at the Rangers.
  • When Zhane performed a glowing slash on Horror Bull with the Super Silverizer, the attack shattered the monster's energy barrier; the effectiveness of his attack came mostly due to his weapon not having been scanned like the others.
  • Horror Bull shot a red energy beam from his horns.
  • The Silverizer blade chopped off Horror Bull's horns and then defeated the monster with a glowing slash, but he instantly grew, with his horns back.
  • The Astro Delta Megazord's flying power punches destroyed giant Horror Bull.

    616-FDrk

  • Coralizer was watching from various locations in the Old West town on Onyx as Velocifighters pursued Andros.
  • Further down a street, a rope was held across the street as Cogs and Coralizer were chasing Andros on foot.

    624-ZhnD

  • On the planet Centaur B where the Rebels were in hiding, with Darkonda operating amongst them in disguise, Cassie found an odd patch of coral growing on a rock, despite the lack of oceans on the planet.
  • In the Rebels' underground facility, people were being carried around on stretchers; in an infirmary chamber where many people were sick from a coral disease, one man who was just carried in was initially covered with white foam on his shoulder which suddenly grew into giant coral coverings; other people had coral growths and even clawlike arms.
  • To frame the four teens, Yatru pretended to take a small canister from Ashley; when he smashed the canister against the wall, the liquid inside turned into white foam, which then turned into a cluster of coral.
  • As Kinwon confronted Yatru after learning he was the spy amongst them, Coralizer grappled Kinwon from behind and dragged him away; Kinwon would later be alone in a tunnel, barely conscious and partially coralized.
  • Later, after Andros and Zhane had entered and testified to the four teens' innocence, Yatru said he'd destroy them himself if he had to, and Coralizer stormed in.
  • As the crowd panicked and the guards prepared for action, Coralizer coated three guards with the white foam to paralyze them with the coral plague.
  • As the guards aimed their weapons at the fight, Andros and Zhane attempted to fight Coralizer while unmorphed; soon, all five teens fought him poorly, and he suddenly ran outside.
  • Once Coralizer had been kicked off a cliff by the Rangers, the Satellasers enlarged him.
  • Giant Coralizer wielded a staff.
  • Giant Coralizer caught the Astro Megazord in two tentacles from his shoulders which shocked the Megazord with red electricity.
  • The Astro Delta Megazord's flying power punches destroyed giant Coralizer, at which point all of the coralized Rebels were instantly cured.

    642-CTD1

  • Coralizer was among the Machine Empire's army on the Phantom Ranger's home planet.

    625-AACh

  • In section 4-C of a top secret laboratory somewhere, Quantrons stood in the control room as the scientists were all unconscious; Lizwizard sucked up information from both the scientists and the computers through his long tongue, which was plugged into an interface port using a printer cable-like plug at the end of his tongue.
  • Lizwizard was a lizard monster with electrical components on his body.
  • When fighting the Rangers, Lizwizard could wrap his long tongue around a Ranger's arm and then switch places with him or her with green and Ranger-colored energy, often declaring, "Switch!" just before switching places.
  • On the Dark Fortress, Lizwizard uploaded all of the top secret data to a monitor kiosk in Astronema's room; Astronema was pleased that Lizwizard could now build the "grand weapon" and she could control the Earth.
  • Lizwizard said they were missing a key piece of information, and Astronema angrily said she was running out of patience; Lizwizard then returned to Earth and stalked Professor Phenomenus, whose name he knew and whom he said was just the genius he needed.
  • Chasing after the Professor, Bulk, and Skull, Lizwizard fired green energy blasts from his hands as warning shots; he told them to relax, saying they wouldn't feel anything.
  • While fighting morphed Carlos, Lizwizard could turn invisible; he was also able to strike Carlos with his tongue.
  • Adam Park suddenly arrived and gave Lizwizard a pounding with morphed Carlos's help, making the monster eventually retreat.
  • In her room days after Lizwizard had retreated, Astronema told Lizwizard he'd failed her once too many times, but Lizwizard begged for another chance; she didn't think so and took her staff from Elgar.
  • Lizwizard wanted another shot to destroy the Black Ranger, and Ecliptor whispered to Astronema that Black Ranger was on Earth, so she gave the sobbing monster one more chance.
  • While fighting morphed Adam and morphed Carlos, Lizwizard switched places with Adam when Carlos performed a flying attack, but Carlos leapt off Adam's shoulders and struck the monster twice with the Lunar Lance, after which the Satellasers enlarged Lizwizard.
  • The Astro Megazord Saber destroyed giant Lizwizard.

    839-FLs1

  • Lizwizard was among the assorted monsters in the Shadow World's underground tomb.

    616-FDrk

  • In the Onyx Tavern on the planet Onyx, Sinister Simian was playing rock on the piano while Batarax played guitar and a tall-headed female alien sang without words.
  • Batarax, a bat monster, had speakers in his large ears.
  • After Andros had fled the tavern, explosions from a blasting Velocifighter trailed after the flying Andros, knocking Piranhatrons and Batarax out of the middle of the street.

    626-SOLk

  • One night, Ecliptor told Astronema that Batarax was ready to attack Earth on her command, and she soon gave the order.
  • Batarax had claws on his left wrist.
  • The Rangers gave Batarax such a pounding that he was barely able to stand before being enlarged by the Satellasers.
  • The Rangers fought giant Batarax in the Astro Megazord; when Cassie planned to use the sonic neutralizer to jam the monster's radar, Batarax emitted a steady sonic blast from the speakers in his ears, paralyzing and weakening the Megazord on his new frequency.
  • As the Megazord nearly collapsed, the monster's signal was suddenly neutralized; Batarax looked down toward the ground and planned to change frequencies, and the Megazord's display showed red sonic beams coming from giant Batarax and blue sonic beams hitting him from a device atop a van, quite probably Professor Phenomenus's RV.
  • As giant Batarax reached down toward the unseen van, the Megazord caught his arm with the Astro Megazord Saber in whip form, then blasted out the speakers in his ears with the Astro Megazord Blaster.
  • The powered-up saber soon destroyed giant Batarax with two criss-crossing slashes.

    627-AsTT

  • Astronema summoned the needle monster to destroy Red Ranger to prove her loyalty to Dark Specter.
  • The needle monster, a plantlike monster covered with deadly spines, had a voice just like Rito Revolto's.
  • The needle monster shot a barrage of yellow energy needles from his needle arm.
  • The combined blasts of the Quadroblaster and Spiral Saber Booster Mode defeated the needle monster, but he immediately got back up and grew.
  • The Mega Voyager was shocked with yellow electricity whenever hit by the giant monster's needle arm until Mega Voyager punched the needle arm, breaking off the nails.
  • Andros called the monster "Spikey," seeming to be only standard namecalling.
  • The Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed the giant needle monster.

    OTHER SOURCES

  • The name "Spikey," mentioned by Andros in an apparent quip, was apparently the monster's real name. (Source: PRiS VCD collection.)

    630-DSR2

  • As Bulk, Skull, and the Professor wandered through the desert after crashing a stolen rocket, Frightwing leapt in and confronted the three, telling them that Astronema had sent him to destroy them once and for all; he then chased them, calling them Power Rangers.
  • Frightwing was a robotic bird monster.
  • After he'd been kicked over, Frightwing was enlarged by the Satellasers.
  • In the desert, chains from beneath the ground wrapped around Mega Voyager's arms, but it soon broke free after being blasted by giant Frightwing's yellow mouth blasts.
  • Giant Frightwing soon flew by the Mega Voyager, striking it.
  • Mega Voyager wielded Mega V-3 but was unable to get a lock on the flying monster; Frightwing was then shot down by Mega Winger in jet mode.
  • Giant Frightwing shot several gold energy arrows from his mouth, probably clearer versions of the previous blasts, but Mega Winger deflected them with an energy barrier.
  • As giant Frightwing soon flew away in retreat after being blasted, Mega Winger's wings detached and docked with the Mega Voyager, forming the Winged Mega Voyager which flew after the monster and soon blew him into fragments in midair with the Mega V-3 missile mode.

    631-RGPs

  • One evening, the five Rangers fought a robot owl monster in a warehouse.
  • Unlike most monsters, the owl monster demonstrated no language abilities.
  • The monster shot yellow eyeblasts at the ceiling, causing part of it to collapse on the Rangers.
  • After being blasted by the Satellite Stunner and Star Slinger, then struck by the three other weapons, the owl monster was defeated but then spontaneously grew.
  • The giant monster used its wings to protect itself from the Astro Megazord Blaster.
  • When the giant monster's eyes glowed yellow, the Megazord blocked with its shield, which was now completely black and smooth; the shine from the owl's eyes elecrocuted the monster with yellow electricity.
  • The Megazord held out its glowing saber, and the blade thrust out into a long yellow beam which destroyed the monster.

    632-COnC

  • Datascammer, a robotic salimander monster with a silver dish around his neck, had been sent to Earth by Astronema.
  • Ashley told the monster he looked harmless, but he shot some glowing projectiles from his mouth at the Rangers.
  • While fighting the four Rangers, Datascammers's eyes flashed to begin scanning, and when Andros leapt in, Datascammer scanned him with a flash as well.
  • Datascammer retreated after being blasted by Andros's Astro Blaster.
  • With the Psychos standing near her on the Dark Fortress, Astronema noted that the information Datascammer had collected would be useful.
  • Psycho Red and Psycho Black argued over who should go, with Psycho Red thinking he could handle them without the information database, but Astronema told them they underestimated the Rangers' strength.
  • The next day, Datascammer attacked young Silvy while she talked to her late brother's grave.
  • After Andros's Battlizer chop and punch, followed by a Quadroblaster blast, the Satellasers enlarged Datascammer.
  • When giant Datascammer tried to stomp the Rangers, they fired up at him with their Astro Blasters, and he returned fire with green energy bolts from his eyes, making a massive explosion.
  • Giant Datascammer made everything pulse repeatedly with darkness, scanning the Mega Voyager and making the Rangers see stars.
  • Giant Datascammer blasted the Mega Voyager with mouth blasts, then as he rushed toward a flaming spot where Mega Voyager had been, he assumed he was stronger than he'd thought.
  • Winged Mega Voyager flew overhead with Mega V-3, which launched and destroyed the monster.

    637-A&St

  • In a jungle on the planet Tirna, a small red alien (later given the name "Seymour") with fishlike fins on the sides of his head and a white orb dangling off an extension on his head ran giggling through a jungle as the monster Jakarak pursued him.
  • Jakarak, a purple monster with similar blue head fins and a dangling yellow orb, frustratedly told the small creature to stop playing games and to come out.
  • On Jakarak's stomach was a cluster of black polygonal edges with white lines, like Ecliptor's body but with white lines rather than green.
  • Seymour scurried away, then hid in some bushes, trembling.
  • Finding Red Ranger with Seymour, Jakarak assumed Andros was trying to steal his servant; he fought Andros until being blasted, causing him to retreat with gold energy streaks.
  • Once Andros had flown off, Jakarak roared in the distance, causing Seymour to scurry away and ultimately stow away on the Megaship.
  • On the Dark Fortress, Astronema entered from her quarters to meet with Jakarak, as he'd requested.
  • Jakarak introduced himself and told her the Rangers had kidnapped his servant and he needed her help getting him back.
  • To demonstrate his powers, Jakarak shot a yellow energy beam from his orb, turning a Quantron into stone.
  • Fighting the Rangers on Earth after he'd turned two citizens stone, Jakarak could teleport-dodge.
  • In the park, Jakarak found the now-adult Seymour and planned to take him back with him.
  • Although he was impressed at how Seymour had grown, Jakarak said he could still crush Seymour if he had to.
  • Andros flew Seymour to safety, infuriating Jakarak.
  • Soon, Jakarak attacked again as Andros and Seymour talked in an industrial area.
  • During the fight, Red Ranger jumped in for a double-kick, but his feet and lower legs were turned to stone by the monster.
  • Seymour returned worriedly shortly after having been led away by Andros, and Jakarak used a red energy ray from his stomach to capture Seymour, with only Seymour's head then sticking out of his stomach.
  • When the Rangers shot at a weak point between Jakarak's eyes, as indicated by Ashley's scanners, the monster fell, and Andros's legs returned to normal.
  • Purple energy streaks from Seymour's tentacle blasted the Rangers.
  • Unable to get close, Andros told Seymour he was strong now and urged him to try to beat Jakarak, at which point Seymour teleported out as red energy.
  • As Andros was stomped on the ground, Seymour grabbed Jakarak but was thrown back, twice; angry, Seymour shot his own purple energy streaks at Jakarak.
  • In return, Jakarak bombarded Seymour with gold energy streaks from all over his body, making Seymour collapse.
  • Andros used the Battlizer chop and punch on Jakarak, but the Satellasers then enlarged him.
  • Jakarak turned the Astro Megazord Shield and the Megazord's left forearm to stone, but the Delta Megazord shot the tentacle right off his forehead, returning the Astro Megazord to normal.
  • The Astro Delta Megazord's flying power punches destroyed Jakarak.

    638-MTSC

  • Vacsacker, a red robot monster, appeared from red streaks in the plaza downtown and began using a red ray from his cannon arm to beam away crowds of fleeing people, sending them all to Astronema's Secret City.
  • The three Rangers tried to hurry a crowd to safety, but Vacsacker's beam went through the Rangers and beamed away the crowd behind them; the Rangers' suits had made them immune to the ray.
  • Vacsacker shot red energy bolts from between his eyes.
  • As Vacsacker fought Andros and Carlos inside Secret City, Carlos shoved Andros aside and took a red energy bolt in the chest, making him collapse and writhe in agony for a bit.
  • Two of the Battlizer Missiles from Red Ranger struck Vacsacker but had little effect.
  • Vacsacker shot a red bolt from his cannon as well.
  • As Red Ranger flew overhead, Vacsacker shot orange energy bolts from his cannon.
  • The two wingtip missiles from the Red Battlized Ranger destroyed Vacsacker.
  • Soon, however, the Satellasers revived and enlarged Vacsacker.
  • The Mega Voyager's Mega V-3 missile mode destroyed giant Vacsacker.

    641-LITS

  • Walking at night on a date in Angel Grove, Andros and Ashley were nearly run down by the evil Tankenstein, a black Humvee bent on the destruction of the teens.
  • Andros and Ashley went into the alley where the vehicle had driven, but they saw nothing; suddenly, it burst out and tried to run them down again, but they leapt onto a fence, and Tankenstein vanished, leaving behind flaming tire tracks.
  • The next day at a soccer field, when Carlos went after a wild kick through the trees, Tankenstein raced toward him on the road behind the trees; the vehicle beamed him away with a red portal beam from its front just before it would've run him over.
  • Later investigating in the same area, T.J. and Cassie were nearly run down as well; after morphing, they blasted at the vehicle with their Astro Blasters, but they had no effect.
  • Ramming the rear of Cassie's Galaxy Glider, Tankenstein was somehow preventing her from lifting off with T.J. on her board, so the two had to jump, and the glider was run over and smashed flat.
  • Tankenstein raced toward the two and beamed them away; they arrived unmorphed in the desert near Carlos.
  • Tankenstein was then in a dark chamber of the Dark Fortress, where it was approached by Astronema and Ecliptor.
  • Astronema told Tankenstein that the last two Rangers would be on their guard, and it was to capture them, or she'd dismantle it herself; it flashed its lights while revving and drove off when ordered to go.
  • Back in Angel Grove, Andros and Ashley were driving in Ashley's yellow VW, Andros using an AmScanner to search for the others, when Tankenstein rammed them from behind.
  • Ashley tried to get away, but a blaster mounted on top of Tankenstein shot red energy beams which blasted the back of Ashley's car and made her swerve to a stop.
  • After the Red Battlized Ranger's two shoulder missiles had struck Tankenstein's rear, making it swerve to a stop with its rear smoking, Red Ranger powered down to normal form, but the evil Humvee then raced at the two Rangers again, this time beaming them away, and they arrived in the desert unmorphed near the others.
  • On the horizon in the desert, Tankenstein raced toward the five teens; once morphed, they attempted to fight the seemingly indestructible vehicle, impervious to Astro Blasters and the Satellite Stunner alike.
  • A blast from Zhane's Galactic Rover caused Tankenstein to swerve.
  • As Tankenstein and Zhane raced toward each other, Zhane held out his Super Silverizer and slashed Tankenstein along the driver's side while racing past the vehicle.
  • Energy blasts from the Rover hit the rear of Tankenstein; when the Rover got in front of Tankenstein, the Humvee swerved, and Zhane then came around and raced toward Tankenstein's passenger side.
  • As the Rover raced by, its energy blasts made Tankenstein explode in a huge fireball.
  • Tankenstein wreckage was strewn about, but the Satellasers caused the wreckage to pull together, then an outer layer blew off, revealing Tankenstein's robotic monster form, which then grew.
  • Tankenstein was a very intimidating robot monster, with large radial back spikes, as well as strips of green and black circuitry with red and yellow polygons similar to those seen in the Dark Fortress.
  • Tankenstein's mouthplate was strikingly similar to the design of the Psycho Rangers' mouthplates. (Source: Submitted by David South)
  • Giant Tankenstein pounded the Mega Voyager, eventually telling the Rangers to surrender while they still could.
  • When Mega Voyager fired the Mega V-3 missile mode, Tankenstein blocked with his right arm, severing the arm, but mechanical tendrils extended from his arm, flailing about, and then reassembled a new arm.
  • Pounding the Mega Voyager, Tankenstein summoned a sword from green energy; telling the Rangers he was invincible, he shot a powerful green energy blast from his sword, then slashed at the Mega Voyager.
  • Finally, Tankenstein grappled the Mega Voyager with mechanical tentacles from his shoulders; he first shocked the Megazord with green electricity, then slammed it into the ground over and over.
  • Mega Voyager, with a mangled front and missing its left arm above the elbow, charged, but Tankenstein shot a flaming orange-bordered green energy sphere from his eyes.
  • Mega Voyager jump-punched Tankenstein, took his sword, and stabbed him in the face, making him grab the Mega Voyager and lift off high above the city.
  • Tankenstein said his circuits were malfunctioning, and he then exploded in a massive fireball in the sky, taking the Mega Voyager with him; smoking trails flew down from the explosion as the pieces rained down upon the desert nearby.
