407-EDog

  • Although they were almost always robotic, the Machine Empire's creations sent to battle the Rangers were called "monsters," just like any other villain's monsters.

    416-Sno2

  • Immediately after Robocupid was destroyed, Machina said she had selected Defoliator from their gallery for her plan to take the teens by surprise with a second monster before they'd had time to recover; it later appeared, however, that Machina had initiated her Defoliator plan days before revealing the plan to Mondo.

    417-Sno3

  • Billy referred to giant Defoliator as being in "full size."

    434-GHom

  • Mondo, Sprocket, and Machina watched from a large opening in what looked like an enormous facility as an assembly line of giant monsters (including Drill Master, a tentacle monster, Silo, Mechanizer, and the Hydro Contaminator) moved forward to receive their neo-plutonium armor.
  • Mondo ordered Klank to release his entire army of newly-reinforced soldiers; only three additional giant monsters (Drill Master, the tentacle monster, and Mechanizer) helped giant Silo fight the Super Zeozords.

    436-BITS

  • All three of the monsters used during Louie Kaboom's reign (Tough Tusks, Stenchy, and Midas Monster) bore a tattoo which appeared to consist of a blue object in front of a pink heart; all of the tattoos were located on the left sides of the monsters' bodies.

    437-SOAW

  • Machina planned to make the Rangers unable to stand the smell of each other and make their team fall apart; when Louie, thinking the idea was stupid, asked where she would get a monster to make people smell bad, she said she knew just the place.

    443-Kng2

  • Gasket took the best warriors from each planet he conquered and put their powers in his machine monsters.

    840-FLs2

  • Among the assorted monsters in the Shadow World's underground tomb, there did not appear to be any robot monsters used by the Machine Empire.

    403-ShSt

  • Mondo had Klank upgrade the artillery on the Staroid robot; upon hearing of this, Machina was excited, knowing how destructive Staroid was.
  • Staroid, never shown in any form other than giant, shot streams of blue energy from all over his body.
  • Staroid shot a blue energy bolt from the silver orb on what appeared to be his head.
  • Staroid bent over, and the top blade of his back star turned into a blue energy boomerang which flew around, slicing the Zords, and then returned to its original position.
  • Staroid shot a blue energy blast from his hand.
  • Following a close-up of his silver cranial sphere, blue energy turned Staroid into a massive silver ball which rolled by the Zeozords and smashed them as it went.
  • Tanya noted that their weapons couldn't break through Staroid's sphere of armor, but the Zords weren't shown trying to attack the sphere.
  • Spherical Staroid flew up into the air, glowed with flaming red energy, and then descended toward the Zeozords, heating them up.
  • When the Zeozords fled the scene to initiate the Zeo Megazord transformation, Staroid crashed into the ground where the Zords had been, and he reverted to his normal form.
  • Staroid fell over and exploded after just one normal slash from the Zeo Megazord Saber, but a small silver orb floated up from Staroid's remains and re-formed the large metal sphere with blue energy, which then used blue energy bolts to lift its scattered parts up to itself.
  • The full-powered Zeo Megazord Saber destroyed Staroid's remains.

    404-Trgt

  • In a junkyard in Angel Grove, Cogs were using spare parts to construct the body of Silo; where they obtained the parts for the missiles or the rocket fuel for his flight is unknown.
  • Silo's body looked exactly like the robot fighters in the computer game Rocky and Jennifer were designing at the time the Cogs were finishing up Silo's construction.
  • Silo had a 3.5" floppy drive somewhere on his body.
  • Silo was brought to life by Rocky and Jennifer's computer game.
  • Silo walked up to Bulk and Skull and asked them where the Power Rangers were, prefacing his inquiry with "Question:"; the two ran off screaming without giving him an answer.
  • Silo could launch missiles from his wrist launchers.
  • Before attacking, Silo would often ask a question, then declare, "You lose!" and fire, just like the computer game on which his programming was based.
  • The Silo in the sentai footage had a black square projection sticking out of his back which was not present in the US footage.
  • Giant Silo shot chains from his stomach, which wrapped around the Zeo Megazord.
  • Giant Silo used the rockets on his back to fly, pulling the Zeo Megazord into space.
  • Giant Silo threw the Zeo Megazord toward the sun and then returned to Earth.
  • The Zeo Megazord Saber destroyed giant Silo.

    434-GHom

  • Giant Silo was among the giant monsters to receive neo-plutonium armor.
  • Sprocket chose giant Silo to test the armor, saying Silo was his favorite.
  • Silo (or "Mondo's new Silo," as he was called) was normal-sized when he lured the Rangers into battle.
  • As the five Rangers fought Silo, Tommy remarked that nothing they did could even scratch the monster, but the Rangers hadn't even landed an attack on him.
  • The Zeo Cannon blasted Silo with a stream of blue energy pulses; he got back up from the flames around him after being knocked over by the blast.
  • Giant Silo lured Super Zeozord Five into outer space.
  • Giant Silo launched a series of missiles from his wrists.
  • Super Zeozord Five impaled giant Silo's gut with its sword, making Silo explode.

    442-Kng1

  • Silo was in the large crowd of monsters (both from the Machine Empire and Rita and Zedd) in Prince Gasket's other-dimensional Machine Arena.

    642-CTD1

  • Silo was among Divatox's army on the planet Gratha.

    First Appearance: 405-FCOL
    Last Appearance: 405-FCOL

    405-FCOL

  • When Mondo thought to increase the volume of baby Joey's crying, Klank suggested using Boohoo the Clown, since he was wonderful with children.
  • After Tommy had left the room in which Joey was sleeping, what looked like a clown doll rose from a bin of toys and transformed into Boohoo, who had been waiting a while for Tommy to leave.
  • Boohoo was very friendly toward Joey and only wanted to hurt the Rangers.
  • Boohoo shot blue energy waves to put Joey under the volume spell.
  • The next day, Boohoo held a toy-like wand and a tambourine.
  • Joey's altered soundwaves perfectly matched the soundwaves of Boohoo's voice.
  • Blue energy ripples emanated from Boohoo's neck speaker, making the Rangers clutch their heads in pain.
  • Boohoo shot blue energy beams from his wand.
  • Boohoo shot bubbly pink energy from his wand at Tommy, causing Joey's stroller to fall from its high ledge; fortunately, Billy safely teleported Joey into the Power Chamber in mid-fall.
  • Boohoo shot a blue energy cyclone from his tambourine.
  • After Zeo Ranger Five performed his powered-up slice with the Zeo Five Power Sword, Boohoo was shown reacting to the slice, then he was struck by a yellow energy sphere, creating an explosion, and then he was shown unharmed, saying Tommy missed him; then, however, when Orbus made Boohoo grow, he was lying down.
  • Giant Boohoo threw explosive baby bottles.
  • Giant Boohoo's head spun around, and his "mouth" shot light blue energy beams.
  • The Zeo Megazord Saber destroyed giant Boohoo.

    People Pitcher

    First Appearance: 406-Outf
    Last Appearance: 406-Outf

    406-Outf

  • Cogs quickly rebuilt a pitching machine at a fun park; when Rocky hit its pitch, he vanished in red energy swirls and an explosion, then what looked like Rocky's head bounced toward and then into the machine, and People Pitcher, with Rocky inside him, then emerged from the machine.
  • People Pitcher shot explosive yellow balls from his cannon arm.
  • People Pitcher extended his neck and shot from his mouth a red stream of light which sucked morphed Tommy inside him.
  • When morphed Rocky and Tommy tried turning some of People Pitcher's inner gears the wrong way and then Tommy shot at People Pitcher's insides with his Zeo Laser Pistol, People Pitcher spat out the two Rangers.
  • People Pitcher was temporarily defeated by the Zeo Rangers' explosive group jump-kick.
  • Giant People Pitcher blew a white vapor stream from his mouth.
  • The Zeo Megazord Saber destroyed giant People Pitcher.

    407-EDog

  • After Klank, Orbus, and Sprocket planned to use the lava beneath Angel Grove to destroy the Rangers, Mondo said he had the perfect monster to get the lava out of the ground: Digster.
  • Digster and a crew of Cogs started work on the dig.
  • On top of Digster's head was a tiny robotic pilot which spoke in a high voice and worked a set of small controls; Digster could converse with this tiny pilot.
  • Digster threw an explosive sphere into the lava pit and had his tiny pilot activate it; the pilot pushed down the explosion handle, blowing the lava pit open.
  • Later, in a cavern with a lava pool in it, Digster said that with a little more work, the lava would be running down the main street of Angel Grove.
  • After Kat had morphed upon spying on Digster, the Cogs, Klank and Orbus, and Sprocket from outside the cavern, Digster and Cogs stood on a cliff watching Kat drive around on her Zeo Jet Cycle looking for Smokey.
  • Digster shot red energy blasts from a silver dome on his shoulder, operated by levers pulled by the tiny pilot on his head.
  • Mondo ordered Klank, back in the Machine Skybase, to tell Digster to ignore Kat and continue digging.
  • Back to work with Klank and Sprocket again in the cave with him, Digster said there were just a couple more well-placed holes needed to send the lava through the middle of downtown Angel Grove; by nightfall, he said, Angel Grove would be toast.
  • When Sprocket, in the cave, heard Kat calling out for Smokey, he sent Digster and the Cogs after her, despite Mondo's earlier having called off the pursuit of Kat.
  • From a cliff, Digster shot several explosive blasts at Smokey as he ran down a long path to get to Kat.
  • Digster used his jackhammer as a weapon against morphed Kat.
  • After beating Kat up, Digster stabbed his jackhammer into the ground, sending an explosion through the ground to where Kat was.
  • Digster seemed unaffected by both of Zeo Ranger One's special attacks.
  • Digster's tiny pilot fired a stream of blue energy flames from his tiny forehead.
  • Digster was temporarily defeated by the Rangers' explosive group jump-kick.
  • Giant Digster shot some sort of small projectile from the end of his jackhammer.
  • Giant Digster shot a blue energy beam from his forehead rather than his pilot's.
  • The Zeo Megazord used the Zeo Megazord Saber to decapitate the tiny pilot before powering up the saber and destroying Digster.
  • After giant Digster's defeat, Zordon told the teens that the blast that had destroyed Digster had also sealed the cavern that contained the opening to the lava flow.

Pictures: Captain Pete and Puppetman, evil Puppetman (shown at right)

    408-PuBl

  • In the Youth Center, Captain Pete and his robotic sidekick, Puppetman, were performing for an audience of kids who loved the show.
  • Puppetman threw a bucket-full of water in Captain Pete's face when he said that day's secret word, "Power Rangers."
  • Puppetman apparently had a remarkably high level of awareness for a robot, as he noted that the Cogs (whom he described as "silver clowns") were a riot, and he excitedly wondered what they would do next.
  • Puppetman threw a bucket of water into a Cog's face after it had said "Power Rangers."
  • Once Mondo had Klank activate the transmitter which the Cogs had clipped onto Puppetman's backside, the transmitter turned Puppetman evil, transforming him into a meaner-looking form.
  • Evil Puppetman shot blue beams from his fingertips, turning the kids in the audience (but not their parents) into brats who proceeded to trash the Captain Pete set, the Youth Center, and the Juice Bar.
  • Arnie's eyes were initially glowing purple like the rest of the kids, but he yelled "Charge!," seeming to be out of the trance, and he and the other kids proceeded to trash everything around them.
  • According to Billy, the spell over the kids was a hypnotic spell.
  • Evil Puppetman used the army of hypnotized kids, with Arnie among them, to defend himself from the Rangers.
  • Evil Puppetman planned to take control of Angel Grove and then the world with the hypnotized kids.
  • On his way to the satellite center following Machina's idea, evil Puppetman turned any kids he saw into brats.
  • Evil Puppetman shot a stream of blue energy rings from his hand at the Rangers.
  • The Defender Wheel temporarily defeated evil Puppetman, at which point his spell over the children was broken.
  • Giant evil Puppetman launched at the Zeo Megazord the gear segments which were on his shoulders.
  • Giant evil Puppetman shot a blue beam of energy logs (yes, energy logs) from his nose.
  • Billy used the Power Chamber computer to discover that Mondo had a direct satellite link to Puppetman through his nose; destroy Puppetman's nose and he'd be powerless.
  • The Zeo Megazord used the Zeo Megazord Saber to chop off giant evil Puppetman's nose before powering up the saber and destroying Puppetman.
  • After the Rangers had destroyed evil Puppetman, Alpha reassembled the robot, this time with a deflector to prevent Mondo from regaining control.
  • That same day, Puppetman was back in Captain Pete's act, and the kids still loved the show.

    Leaky Faucet

    Leaky Faucet
You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / PRZ monsters
    First Appearance: 409-IORS
    Last Appearance: 430-OBOR

    409-IORS

  • Leaky Faucet was originally a monster costume stolen by Cogs from the Invasion of Blueface movie set in Angel Grove.
  • In Sprocket's movie dimension, Leaky Faucet, now an actual monster, threw an exploding rose at morphed Tanya and Tommy.
  • Leaky Faucet extended his mouth and bit Tommy and Tanya from a distance.
  • Leaky Faucet sprayed a powerful jet of water from his mouth.
  • When the other Rangers joined Tommy and Tanya on the set, Leaky Faucet was no longer present; Billy had contacted the two on a TV on the set, and they now watched a speeding bus on the TV.
  • The shower monster, Leaky Faucet, the jack-o-lantern monster, and the traffic sign monster attacked the Rangers together following Klank's idea once the Rangers had apparently returned to reality.
  • The four monsters swirled together into a large eye which formed the eye on the front of the train monster.

    430-OBOR

  • Sprocket thought to turn all of the Earth's water into machine sludge; Machina and Mondo said that not only would it eliminate the humans, but it would establish the perfect environment for their machine army.
  • When Leaky Faucet volunteered for the task, Mondo was reluctant to use him, but Machina convinced Mondo by pointing out that Leaky Faucet was the logical choice and was currently ready.
  • Mondo sent Klank with Leaky Faucet to make sure that every source of water on the planet was contaminated by the end of the day.
  • In a room with pipes in it, somewhere in Angel Grove, Klank debriefed Leaky Faucet; Orbus told the monster he wasn't allowed to leak out of the pipes on his own.
  • Leaky Faucet transformed into a blue energy blob and flowed up into a wall faucet.
  • Leaky Faucet turned Angel Grove's water supply into Cog oil, a bright green, highly toxic liquid which normally powered the Cogs.
  • Billy said that this Leaky Faucet was a much more lethal version than the one the Rangers had gotten rid of, back in 409-IORS.
  • Billy began work on a Cog oil antidote with Alpha; he soon discovered that destroying Leaky Facuet would break the spell and return the water to normal.
  • Leaky Faucet was out in the open when the Rangers confronted him.
  • Leaky Faucet could still spray water from his mouth, but it didn't appear to do anything to the Rangers.
  • Leaky Faucet dodged Tommy's jump kick by briefly turning into a blob of blue energy water.
  • Leaky Faucet again briefly liquefied, this time to dodge morphed Kat's fireball attack.
  • Leaky Faucet had "Buldont State" written on the back of his coat (see "Movie dimension").
  • Leaky Faucet stood in a fountain and shot out a flurry of arcing multicolored energy streams which electrocuted the Rangers briefly.
  • Although Leaky Faucet had supposedly contaminated all of Angel Grove's water, the water around him in the water treatment plant pipes looked pure.
  • Leaky Faucet shot a stream of blue energy water from his chest, blasting the six Rangers.
  • Leaky Faucet once more briefly turned into water to dodge the Zeo Rangers' combined Zeo Laser Pistol beams.
  • When Leaky Faucet liquefied to dodge the Rangers' advanced Zeo Laser Pistol blasts, they shot the freon pipes beside him, freezing him solid; Gold Ranger's triple energy blast then obliterated the frozen monster.
  • Although the frozen Leaky Faucet had been completely obliterated by the energy blast, he was merely lying on the ground, whole, when Orbus made him grow.
  • The Zeo Ultrazord's energy blasts destroyed giant Leaky Faucet.
  • All of the contaminated water returned to normal once Leaky Faucet was destroyed.

  • After being enlarged by Klank and Orbus, the giant train monster shot a bluish-white energy beam from its eye.
  • After the Zeo Megazord had its saber, the train monster was in train mode, shooting the Megazord with its blue energy blasts and then riding on a train track over a bridge.
  • The Zeo Megazord slashed the supports of the train bridge with its saber, making it collapse, and destroying the monster in the fall.

    Plant monsters
    - two plant monsters created from Rocky's mutant plant
    Plant monsters (Pollenator and Adrian)
You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / PRZ monsters
    First Appearance: 411-AFBS
    Last Appearance: 411-AFBS

    411-AFBS

  • Rocky's plant in the Angel Grove Junior Botanical Society Greenhouse was already almost a foot tall after he'd planted the seeds the day before.
  • Rocky didn't know which two seeds he'd crossed from the seeds in the lab.
  • Rocky's plant, with a "mouth" and "head" capable of moving, ate metal.
  • Adam suggested taking a sample to Alpha to ask about it, and they left to do so after Rocky had clipped off a bit of its leaf.
  • Rocky's plant ate most of Bulk's badge off his shirt, then immediately sprouted a large amount of prehensile vines and grew.
  • Bulk took a flower from Rocky's plant to replace Skull's dead plant, saying Rocky wouldn't miss it at the rate his plant was growing.
  • Sprocket watched as Cogs stole Rocky's plant, as well as Skull's, which was a flower off Rocky's, from the greenhouse.
  • Mondo turned the plants into two monsters in his balcony room in the Machine Skybase, with the mouthless one being called Pollenator; Pollenator would eventually call the other monster (the one with large eyes) Adrian.
  • Pollenator was hungry, but Mondo sent the monsters to Earth anyway after touching his staff to Adrian and giving him some extra power in the form of multicolored energy.
  • Alpha's early test results on the clipping indicated that Rocky had created a very unusual hybrid which would continue to grow in size and strength indefinitely.
  • The analysis said that the plant constantly had to eat to remain strong.
  • The monsters were at the Angel Grove auto wrecking yard, apparently eating all the old cars.
  • The monsters gave each other a high five, forming a blue energy barrier which deflected the incoming lasers of the Zeo Laser Pistols.
  • Pollenator shot blue energy bolts from his eyes after leaping off Adrian's shoulders.
  • Finally, Pollenator told Adrian to hit the Rangers with the pollen, but Adrian tripped while trying to jump off Pollenator's shoulders; Pollenator angrily punched Adrian into a stack of tires, saying Adrian had done that on purpose.
  • When Mondo teleported the monsters to his balcony room, only Pollenator was shown teleporting; Adrian was apparently standing blankly behind Mondo when Pollenator arrived.
  • Looking around in confusion, Pollenator asked what Mondo thought he was doing, as they had been about to finish the Rangers off and get back to lunch; he slowly caught sight of Adrian, who, standing behind Mondo, agreed, "Ja, lunch."
  • Mondo ordered either both monsters or only Pollenator that he/they could eat all he/they wanted after defeating the Rangers.
  • Mondo told Pollenator he'd brought them back because Adrian was inept; he then angrily ordered Pollenator to move as he struck him with his staff.
  • Adrian was Pollenator's cousin.
  • When Mondo struck Pollenator, Adrian started to rush forward, but when Mondo waved him back and told him to stay there, he stopped and replied that he could do that.
  • Mondo told Pollenator to go alone this time to finish the job, at which point Adrian was startled.
  • Pollenator realized that he had to choose between Mondo and his cousin, but Mondo declared that Pollenator never had a choice; Cogs then used their spears to hold back Adrian as he and Pollenator called out to each other (with Adrian calling Pollenator "Pollie").
  • Pollenator saved Adrian and fought off the Cogs until Mondo shouted "Enough!!" and blasted the monsters with a blue energy bolt from his staff; he then ordered Pollenator to get down there and finish the Rangers before he ground them both (emphasis on "both") into mulch for his petunias; this was the last time Adrian would be seen.
  • Back on Earth, Pollenator sprayed morphed Rocky with glittery pollen from a bud on his shoulder.
  • Soon as the unmorphed Rocky was sitting on the medical table in the Power Chamber, an analysis revealed that Pollenator's pollen spores were replacing the cells in Rocky's body with plant cells.
  • When Mondo congratulated Pollenator on poisoning Rocky with his pollen, Adrian was nowhere to be seen in the balcony room.
  • Pollenator shot yellow darts from the bulbs on his shoulders.
  • Pollenator formed a blue energy whip from between his hands.
  • Alpha eventually identified the plant but didn't know what made it grow so quickly.
  • Following Rocky's idea, Zordon had Alpha encase Rocky with an isolation field to suffocate the plant cells with pure oxygen; the plant cells quickly vanished from Rocky, reverting him to normal.
  • The combined laser fire of the advanced Zeo Laser Pistols, supposedly in the form of a "pure oxygen field," destroyed Pollenator.

    Fortissimodo

You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / PRZ monsters
    First Appearance: 412-InOD
    Last Appearance: 443-Kng2

    412-InOD

  • Mondo turned Angel Grove High's piano into Fortissimodo.
  • The music room's piano was brown, but Fortissimodo was black.
  • Fortissimodo wielded a sword once he began fighting Zeo Ranger Four.
  • As Fortissimodo watched the Rangers fight the Cogs while Skull watched the battle from nearby, Klank observed that Fortissimodo was failing at his task, which was to capture Skull.
  • Giant Fortissimodo blew a stream of fire from his mouth (located in his chest) at morphed Adam.
  • While giant Fortissimodo was holding Zeo Ranger Four in his hand, the Defender Wheel's energy wheel struck his leg, knocking him over and causing him to release Adam.
  • Giant Fortissimodo released orbs of red energy from his head, blasting the Zords.
  • Giant Fortissimodo played the keyboard on his stomach as he'd done before while small, but this time it produced blue energy notes which struck the Zeo Megazord.
  • The Zeo Megazord Saber destroyed giant Fortissimodo, and following the explosion, Fortissimodo's flaming top piece (what would've been his head, had his face not been on his stomach) landed on the roof of a skyscraper nearby.
  • The piano in the music room was intact some time after Fortissimodo's destruction.

    442-Kng1

  • Fortissimodo was in the large crowd of monsters (both from the Machine Empire and Rita and Zedd) in Prince Gasket's other-dimensional Machine Arena.

    Mean Screen
You are here: Who / Evil / Monsters / PRZ monsters
    First Appearance: 413-MnSc
    Last Appearance: 443-Kng2

    413-MnSc

  • When Sprocket thought to infect the computers of Angel Grove with a computer virus, Mondo said Mean Screen was the perfect candidate.
  • In a computer building in Angel Grove, Klank told Mean Screen to wreak havoc on Angel Grove by tapping into the Rangers' computer system and shutting down their weapons.
  • A red-tipped tentacle and a black-tipped tentacle came from Mean Screen's arms and went behind the computer, connecting him with it, at which point his face turned into a monitor.
  • The Zeo symbol appeared on Mean Screen's monitor, then schematics of each of the Zeozords appeared, along with "UAOH" in the bottom corner, with a Ranger-colored border beneath the UAOH; then on his screen was a schematic of the Zeo Megazord.
  • Mean Screen injected a virus into the Power Chamber's computer network, and afterward, computer-based systems all over Angel Grove began malfunctioning.
  • When morphed Tommy and Tanya entered the computer room, Mean Screen was inside a monitor; he reached out from the monitor and blasted Tanya and Tommy with white energy bolts, then teleported out from the monitor.
  • When the other three Rangers arrived, Mean Screen had long arm blades and now had a silver face rather than multicolored.
  • Mean Screen shot white energy bolts from his antennae.
  • Because he had infected the Rangers' computer-based weapons, Mean Screen was able to deflect the Zeo Laser Pistols' lasers with a blue forcefield.
  • Mean Screen shot green energy bolts from his antennae.
  • Mean Screen was chasing after the Rangers and shooting them with laser beams from an unknown source and of an unknown color (his vision was tinted green), and now his face was multicolored again.
  • Mean Screen used a red forcefield to deflect the advanced Zeo Laser Pistols' energy beams.
  • Alpha said he'd never seen a computer virus quite like this; it had somehow managed to infiltrate the Power Chamber's computer network and was spreading so quickly that he couldn't isolate it long enough to destroy it; it kept branching into different systems.
  • The virus invaded the Zeozords' computer; it was working its way through the protective software and into the main operating system.
  • Zordon said that without the computer system, the Zords would be unable to come together to form the Zeo Megazord.
  • Mean Screen had a silver face again.
  • Mean Screen charged his arm blades with green energy from his eyes, then apparently shot it at the Rangers; he then had a multicolored face again.
  • From a screen of icons (showing a lightning bolt, a knife, a hand with an eye in its palm, a syringe, a bottle of a smoking chemical, a Cog head, a chainsaw, a little fire character, a bomb, a skull over an X, a gun, and a jack-o-lantern) Mean Screen chose the bomb; it flew from his monitor and caused what looked like the entire top floor of the computer center to explode, with the Rangers flying out the window just in time.
  • Mean Screen dissipated the Zeo Blaster's energy blast with a yellow energy barrier.
  • Silver-faced Mean Screen shot green energy bolts from his arm blades; afterward, his face was multicolored again.
  • Mean Screen tried to use his virus on the approaching Defender Wheel wheel but apparently couldn't.
  • After apparently being destroyed by the Defender Wheel, Mean Screen was suddenly back, having made a backup copy of himself.
  • Raymond's antivirus cured the Zords and protected them from further infections.
  • Giant Mean Screen wrapped several tentacles around the Zeo Megazord and electrocuted it with blue energy.
  • Alpha predicted that the main source of Mean Screen's power was his screen, and that the Rangers would defeat him if they destroyed the screen.
  • After the Megazord had head-butted giant Mean Screen in the monitor with the Zeo Four Battle Helmet and the Zeo Three Battle Helmet had slammed him onto the ground repeatedly, it was an energy blast in the form of blue triangles from the Zeo Three Battle Helmet which finally shattered the monitor.
  • The Zeo Megazord Saber destroyed giant Mean Screen.

    443-Kng2

  • Mean Screen was in the large crowd of monsters (both from the Machine Empire and Rita and Zedd) in Prince Gasket's other-dimensional Machine Arena.

    414-MBWR

  • Mondo sent Klank to set up an ambush and to destroy the Angel Grove University warehouse if the Rangers got too close to the spare fuel cells (which they needed to repair their tractor beam), and Klank asked to take Mechanizer, saying he was good at this type of thing.
  • Mechanizer attacked Tommy when he split up from the others to find the fuel cell.
  • When Klank told Mechanizer to keep up the good work and Mondo would give him a handsome reward, Mechanizer said he didn't care about any of that; he just wanted to destroy.
  • Mechanizer used his "blasters" to shoot blue energy bolts from his eyes; the explosions around Mechanizer caused him to drop a small metallic cone-shaped item which Tanya referred to as "one of his blasters"; she used her Zeo Laser Pistol to make the item dissolve with flaming red energy.
  • In the background while Tanya was shooting, Kat could be seen picking up something that appeared to be shiny, thin, and a foot or more long; after that, Kat and Tanya were absent for a bit while the guys fought Mechanizer.
  • With "one of his blasters" destroyed, Mechanizer was still able to shoot his blue energy bolts.
  • While fighting the Rangers in the warehouse, Mechanizer blasted several drums containing explosive liquid, causing the entire warehouse to explode in a massive fireball.

    434-GHom

  • Giant Mechanizer was among the giant monsters to receive neo-plutonium armor.
  • The Super Zeozords One and Two shot white energy streaks from their chest symbols at giant Mechanizer, destroying him (even though he appeared to be fallen at the time).

  • Mondo had Klank test Robocupid on Earth.
  • At an industrial park with Klank, Robocupid shot herself in a mirror with the blue beam from her eye, then fell in love with Klank.
  • Orbus shot blue energy gears from his chest, removing the love spell from Robocupid.
  • Red hearts floated out from Robocupid to make Bulk and Skull fall in love with their patrol bike.
  • Robocupid apparently made everyone in Angel Grove fall in love with machines, but she left the three teens still in Angel Grove unaffected by the spell.

    416-Sno2

  • Immediately after Robocupid was destroyed, Machina said she had selected Defoliator from their gallery for her plan to take the teens by surprise with a second monster before they'd had time to recover.
  • Mondo said he could still destroy all the Rangers in a single day, and the teens' snow vacation lasted only a weekend (presumably only two days), but it took Defoliator five days to cause a heat wave in Angel Grove; therefore, Machina had apparently begun her Defoliator plan days before mentioning it.
  • Mondo sent Klank to use Defoliator, but Machina must have already started her Defoliator plan days prior to telling Mondo of the plan.

    417-Sno3

  • Due to Defoliator's deforestation, the temperatures in Angel Grove (in the middle of winter) rose well above historical records for five days straight, then apparently an additional day before the monster was destroyed.
  • On either the fifth or sixth day, Mondo noted that Defoliator had begun to have a serious effect on the weather of Angel Grove; the temperature had risen another five degrees since the day before.
  • According to Zordon, Defoliator was destroying hundreds of plants and trees in Angel Grove Forest, thereby causing a greenhouse effect in Angel Grove; such a localized and rapid greenhouse effect would be impossible.
  • Defoliator apparently started out giant-sized, in order to cover a larger area; the Power Chamber sensors were initially unable to pinpoint his location (as he appeared to keep changing locations), but a narrow focus width of the locator eventually detected him.
  • Giant Defoliator grabbed onto the Zeo Megazord and shocked it with blue electricity.
  • Giant Defoliator shot a blue energy bolt from his scorpion tail.
  • The Zeo Megazord Saber made giant Defoliator fall over and explode as usual, but the giant monster, lying prone but conscious, shrank down to normal size, where he lay until the Rangers had examined his body and concluded from the air's cooling that the battle was over.
  • After getting up, Defoliator planned to destroy every plant in the world.
  • Fighting morphed Tanya and Kat, Defoliator shot blue energy bolts from his horns.
  • Defoliator jabbed a cable hanging off his side into Tanya's stomach, shocking her with white electricity.
  • As the Rangers fought Defoliator, Zordon told Billy they couldn't risk having Defoliator grow again, and Billy said he'd adjusted the Zeo Blaster to maximize the "Command Center"'s power cells.
  • The Zeo Blaster destroyed Defoliator.

  • While Main Drain was draining energy from the Angel Grove power plant one night, the Power Chamber experienced a fluctuation in its power supply, briefly dimming the lights.
  • The next day, Angel Grove (or at least the Youth Center) was having power surges all day due to Main Drain.
  • After draining energy from the Angel Grove power plant all night, Main Drain was fully-charged the next day.
  • Giant Main Drain summoned wrist and shoulder armor which had been on him before and during growing.
  • After seeming to absorb the Zeo Two Battle Helmet's cannon blasts, giant Main Drain summoned leg armor as well; the leg armor had also been on before and during growing.
  • Giant Main Drain released orbs of red energy from his head, blasting the Megazord.
  • Giant Main Drain shot out two of the spikes on his head like darts.
  • During the fight, Mondo waved a white flag on his staff, saying they surrendered, begging them not to destroy his beautiful monster; giant Main Drain got on his knees and begged for a moment, but then slipped a tentacle beneath the ground and grappled the Zeo Megazord, tapping directly into the Megazord's main power supply.
  • Giant Main Drain then summoned chest armor, which he had also had before and during growing.
  • Giant Main Drain launched blue energy bolts from all over his body at the Megazord, causing the Zeo Megazord Saber to break and the Megazord to stumble back; Alpha then teleported the Megazord back to the repair bay.
  • After being shot at by their advanced Zeo Laser Pistols, giant Main Drain picked up the four Zeo Rangers and then threw them back down and blasted them.
  • Giant Main Drain latched his tentacle onto the Red Battlezord's chest; blue electricity flowed into the Battlezord, and orange electricity then flowed into Main Drain.

  • When Zordon mentioned that the creature they saw in the Viewing Screen was an Autochthon monster, Billy explained to the other teens that it was one of the earliest inhabitants of the land and that it had to be thousands of years old.
  • Zordon said the Autochthon must have been formed from the evil inside the cave.
  • The Machine Empire teleported Autochthon (and David, holding on to the monster, as well) to the surface.

  • Defector had a drill arm.
  • Defector seemed to fall awkwardly to Earth after Mondo sent him to gain the Rangers' trust.

  • Scrap Heap, a hulking monstrosity formed of scrap metal, complained that he had feelings too, sensitive about not being taken seriously.
  • Once enlarged by Orbus, Scrap Heap launched rockets from the numerous missile launchers on his back at the Zeo-Jets, but he was then confronted by the Zeo Megazord.
  • As giant Scrap Heap repeatedly pelted the Zeo Megazord with concussion bombs, of which the monster thought he had about a million megatons, the Megazord plucked a rocket out of the air and threw it back, causing Scrap Heap to explode violently.

  • Giant Midas Hound was turning things all over the city into gold, and these items were being used to feed the Midas Hound and increase its strength.
  • A blue forcefield protected the giant Midas Hound when Super Zeozords Three and Five tried to attack it.
  • Giant Midas Hound turned parts of the four Super Zeozords into gold.
  • Pyramidas's lightning attack broke the external shell off the giant Midas Hound, revealing the robotic Midas Monster.
  • Like the other two monsters used during Louie Kaboom's reign, Midas Monster bore a tattoo which appeared to consist of a blue object in front of a pink heart; his tattoo was on his left thigh.
  • Giant Midas Monster's golderizing blasts, which came from the red eyes in the top of his chest, appeared to have no effect on Pyramidas, nor did they work on the Red Battlezord.
  • Giant Midas Monster had claw arms.
  • The Red Battlezord's spinning energy attack knocked giant Midas Monster's golderizer off; it exploded, and the golderized Zords returned to normal.

  • Gasket, looking at Detective Stone's broken waverunner in his telescope, thought it was a perfect choice (for a monster); after Bulk and Skull eventually parked the waverunner back onshore and got off it, Gasket caused the waverunner to turn into Cruel Chrome with red energy.
  • "Cruel Chrome" had no chrome anywhere on his body.
  • Cruel Chrome wielded a boomerang.
  • Cruel Chrome told Bulk and Skull just to keep walking, but when they ran away screaming, he remarked that he ought to throw his boomerang at the "clumsy cowards."
  • Cruel Chrome had a nozzle in his hand, which he used to spray people with water which made normal humans pass out and made the Rangers weak and light-headed.
  • In the Power Chamber, the helmetless Rangers each took deep breaths from a vaporizer Alpha had designed with special chemicals to protect their lungs from Cruel Chrome's knockout vapors.
  • Cruel Chrome wielded his boomerang like a blade.
  • Some time after Cruel Chrome had grown to giant size, short blades extended from his wrists and feet.
  • Giant Cruel Chrome shot a red energy beam from his right shoulder.
  • Giant Cruel Chrome shot a grappling hook from his wrist into the Super Zeo Megazord, then tapped his boomerang to the chain and sent an explosion through the chain into the Megazord.
  • Giant Cruel Chrome shot a blue energy beam from behind his head.
  • The (Super) Zeo Ultrazord's energy blasts destroyed giant Cruel Chrome.
  • After Cruel Chrome was destroyed, Alpha replaced Detective Stone's waverunner with an identical one.

  • While morphed Tommy was trapped in his Brain Drain device, Gasket called in Altor, a gold robot monster with the Gold Ranger symbol on his face, arms, and belt, to have him infused with Tommy's powers to make the monster invincible.
  • After sitting in the seat connected to Tommy's seat, with a helmet on Altor's head connected to the Brain Drain helmet on Tommy's head, Altor absorbed Tommy's powers into himself; afterward, he said he felt the strength of a hundred warriors.
  • In the Machine Arena, Altor fought Cogs with a staff bearing the Gold Ranger symbol.
  • After Altor had defeated several Cogs, Gasket declared Altor to be the fiercest warrior in the Machine Empire.
  • As he was being beaten by Altor, Jason recalled that only Tommy had been able to match him move-for-move, so he concluded that Gasket had transferred Tommy's powers and mind into Altor; Altor clutched his head for a while during Jason's realization, then when he triumphantly declared that he was Altor, Jason remarked that Altor had then lost Tommy's powers, at which point he destroyed Altor with the monster's own staff.

    446-AS&D

  • A blue energy gear fired from the Machine Skybase turned Detective Stone's "armor-plated, fully-automated Mechaterpillar 2000" fishing lure into the Mechaterpillar robot monster, which emerged from the lake.
  • Unlike most monsters, Mechaterpillar demonstrated no language abilities.
  • Summoned by Gasket, giant Mechaterpillar was as tall as a Megazord and many times longer.
  • Giant Mechaterpillar could wrap itself around the Super Zeo Megazord.
  • On Gasket's command, giant Mechaterpillar split up into component pieces and outnumbered the Zords.
  • Giant Mechaterpillar shot green energy waves from its mouth, breaking down Adam's telepathic link and making the Red Battlezord move uncontrollably.
  • Following Klank's idea, giant Mechaterpillar's green energy waves caused the Red Battlezord and then the Super Zeo Megazord to dance uncontrollably, then eventually the Zords sparked and fell over, ejecting the Rangers.
  • Giant Mechaterpillar shot the five Rangers with his green energy waves, but the effects of this blast weren't shown; in fact, the next time the Rangers appeared was as teens a different day after Gold Ranger had won the battle.
  • Pyramidas was immune to giant Mechaterpillar's energy waves.
  • Pyramidas's lightning attack destroyed giant Mechaterpillar.
  • According to Rocky a different day, Machina's singing spell had gone away when the monster had been destroyed, but Mechaterpillar hadn't had anything to do with Machina's spell.

    447-RTW1

  • Rita's wand shot an orange energy beam to turn Kat into a monster, but because Finster accidentally bumped into Rita as she fired, she ended up turning Kat's purse into a monster, the Impursonator.
  • Giant Impursonator was invulnerable to the Zeo Megazord's punch and the Zeo Four Battle Helmet's headbutt.
  • Giant Impursonator absorbed the Zeo Three Battle Helmet's blue energy beam and shot it back at the Megazord as blue energy bolts from her hands; her energy attacks would always be shot from her hands unless otherwise noted.
  • Giant Impursonator absorbed the Zeo Two Battle Helmet's fiery red energy blasts and shot them back as red energy bolts.
  • Giant Impursonator absorbed the Zeo One Battle Helmet's fiery pink energy blast and shot it back as pink energy bolts.
  • Giant Impursonator absorbed the Zeo Megazord Saber's finishing move and shot pink energy bolts back at the Megazord.
  • Giant Impursonator seemed briefly stunned by the Red Battlezord's flurry of punches.
  • Giant Impursonator absorbed the Red Battlezord's orange wrist beams and shot them back as pink energy bolts.
  • Giant Impursonator absorbed the Zeo Megabattlezord's orange energy blasts and shot them back as pink energy bolts.
  • Giant Impursonator appeared not to be able to absorb Pyramidas's lightning bolt attack, but it didn't destroy her.
  • Giant Impursonator, being blasted by the Zeo Ultrazord's energy blasts, swelled up, then shot the same gold energy blasts back at the Ultrazord from her stomach.
  • Giant Impursonator was unaffected by the Zeo Ultrazord Carrier Mode's barrage of glowing projectiles.
  • King Mondo teleported giant Impursonator to a planet eight light-years away, using a gray-edged gear portal.
  • Rita said that Impursonator was her best monster ever.

    448-RTW2

  • Using what looked like a Viewing Globe sphere on a stand, Finster found the lost Impursonator and teleported her back to Earth, where she materialized, no longer giant, in the Super Zeo Megazord's cockpit from the form of a blue energy cloud; Rita appeared impressed merely by the globe's ability to bring Impursonator back.
  • Impursonator knocked the Rangers out of the cockpit with red energy bolts from her hands.
  • Impursonator had the Super Zeo Megazord fight the Zeo Megazord, inside of which was the Cog Changer monster.
  • When giant Auric was trying to talk to the monsters, Impursonator emerged from the Super Zeo Megazord as a large energy cloud, and Auric seemed to fearfully revert to a tiki and shrink; Jason said the monsters had ganged up on Auric and forced him away.
  • When Impursonator left the Super Zeo Megazord to look for the Rangers after she'd seen them down below somewhere, Rita used an orange beam from her wand to teleport the monster back to the moon; Rita was upset with Impursonator for not having put a dent in the Rangers, and she left the monster to think about what she'd done.
  • When Mondo sent Cog Changer and a large battalion of Cogs to the Angel Grove Coliseum, Rita sent the sobbing Impursonator back to Earth, where she joined the Machine Empire forces in their attack.
  • Impursonator shot red energy bolts from her hands, without having been shown absorbing energy recently.
  • The Aquitar Ranger Blast didn't destroy Impursonator.
  • Giant Impursonator again shot red energy bolts.
  • Sprocket throught for giant Cog Changer and Impursonator to combine into a single monster, and when Mondo ordered the monsters to unite, giant Impursonator latched onto the top of giant Cog Changer's head.
  • Giant Impursonator-Cog Changer was unfazed by the Super Zeo Megazord's combined sword finishing move.
  • The Zeo Megazord, Red Battlezord, and Super Zeo Megazord, surrounding giant Impursonator-Cog Changer, threw Warrior Wheel amongst each other around the monster faster and faster until it charged with yellow energy, forming a yellow energy whirlwind around the monster; the Super Zeo Megazord then threw Warrior Wheel for the finishing move, which destroyed the combined monster.

    447-RTW1

  • Upon discovering that Rita and Zedd had sent a monster to Earth, Mondo planned to take his greatest monster (Cog Changer) to Earth, not wanting anyone but himself to defeat the Rangers.
  • Cog Changer launched from his eye small gears which locked onto the axles of the Zeo Jet Cycles, taking away the Rangers' control of them; he made them crash into a shack full of explosive bins, perhaps destroying the cycles.
  • Cog Changer shot his gears into the open faces of the Cogs, and gear badges appeared on the Cogs, making them super-durable.
  • Cog Changer shot a gear (which he called an evil cog) into the Zeo Megazord through the mouth of Zeozord Three.
  • Later, Zordon said he was picking up some unusual readings in the "Zeozord Holding Bay," and the Viewing Screen showed a schematic of the Zeo Megazord with a red circle flashing over the top of Zeozord Two; Billy, looking at the Viewing Screen, said it looked like there was a loose wire in the auxiliary sub-cockpit, and he then went into a control room somewhere inside the Zeo Megazord.
  • While Billy was in the sub-cockpit, Cog Changer's gear made the Zeo Megazord come to life, trashing the Zord Holding Bay and then flying outside.

    448-RTW2

  • After Billy had been teleported from the Zeo Megazord, Cog Changer was shown in the Megazord's main cockpit.
  • Cog Changer remarked, "I've always wanted to give one of these Megazords a whirl!"
  • Cog Changer had the Zeo Megazord fight the Super Zeo Megazord, inside of which was the Impursonator monster.
  • While Cog Changer was later distracted by the guys in the Super Zeo Megazord, Tanya destroyed Cog Changer's evil gear, and Kat knocked him from the cockpit.
  • After Cog Changer and Impursonator had fought in the Zeo and Super Zeo Megazords and Rita had taken Impursonator back to the moon, Mondo sent Cog Changer with a large battalion of Cogs to the Angel Grove Coliseum; there, Rita had Impursonator join the Machine Empire's forces in the attack.
  • Cog Changer apparently bombarded the Aquitian Rangers with gear projectiles.
  • The Zeo Cannon temporarily defeated Cog Changer.
  • Giant Cog Changer shot blue energy bolts from somewhere on his top.
