901-Fut1

  • According to narration, peace and justice reign a thousand years in the future. Thanks to the brave legion of the Time Force Police, the streets have been cleared of every criminal, except for Ransik.
  • At night, in a dark, barely-lit warehouse somewhere in downtown Millennium City, Ransik stood silently below a tall metal arch, which vaguely resembles a smaller version of the TF Time Gate.
  • As he prepared to time travel, Cyclobots marched about in the background.
  • Ransik was a shoulder-length black haired man, with a Van Dyke goatee. He had a polished and very reflective silver plate over his upper left side of his face, molded to roughly match the shape of his cheek, covering even most of the left side of his scalp, ending with a small part that crosses the bridge of his nose. Around the rim of the metal covering, and through the eyehole, was intense scarring, hinting only slightly at what pink malformed horror was beneath. He also had a large spikey shoulder-pad on his left shoulder, with several tall sharp silver spikes protruding from it. He wore a black-caped outfit adorned with lots of leather straps with silver buttons, similiar in style to that of Mondo The Magician. His chest had another metal plate across it. His left arm was covered with a full black leather sleeve, but his right arm was uncovered, exposing a slightly muscular mutated form, covered in blue bulging veins. His scalp had several small yellow spikes sticking out of the mussed hair, and some of the hairs were grey.
  • Ransik stared out a window, witnessing lights waving all about, and the general commotion that he was causing, to which he gave a low throaty chuckle at the sight, before inhaling deeply, widening his eyes, and turned away from the scene to continue his evil duties.
  • Ransik took a small round time device and placed it inside a slot atop a control station next to the metal arch.
  • He then turned a knob on the control station, and faced the arch. The machine hummed to life, preparing to become activated.
  • Ransik proclaimed, seemingly to himself, that if he could not rule the present, he'd just rule the past.
  • Ransik spoke with a moderate Australian accent.
  • Having snuck in unseen, Red Time Force Ranger eventually stepped out from between a stacks of crates at the warehouse, on the opposite side of the arch from Ransik.
  • Ransik appeared to have gone around the arch instantaneously between shots, since the control station moved from next to him to the flip side of it (the part cut from this scene was only shown in a preview promo. See "Other Sources").
  • Ransik watched curiously, as Alex slowly walked in from out of the shadows.
  • Alex held outward his Time Force Badge, and proclaimed to Ransik, "In the name of Time Force, I place you under arrest!"
  • The exchange between Ransik & Alex, that neither one knew what each other was up against, implied that it was the first face to face encounter for the pair.
  • They paced around the room until the metal arch was no longer between them, before engaging in physical combat.
  • Outside, Captain Logan informed Ransik over the bullhorn, "You're completely surrounded!", though he & Alex were too busy fighting to hear it.
  • When lunged at by Ransik, Alex spun sideways as he flipped back, reached out and reclaimed his Chrono-Saber from the control station.
  • In response to that, Ransik bent his right leg, lifted up his knee, and then reached down, chopping at his thigh with his right hand. This caused several waves of bluish energy to ripple along his leg, as his knee bone suddenly popped up out of pant-leg. He let out a lengthy bloodcurdling groan, as he grasped the bone, which was specially molded to fit the finger-grip of a hand, and yanked it out. Halfway out, the long section of the bone morphed from a fleshy looking material, into a machete blade, retaining only the handle as bone. As he pulled it out, whitish energy crackled at the point of his leg he was removing it from, audibly.
  • Now wielding this bonesword, he and Alex charged at one another, locking blades, causing a backlash of energy to swirl around at the clanging together of their sabers.
  • Out from the ashes stepped Ransik, with firm & sturdy silver handcuffs locked around both of his wrists.
  • Red Ranger was behind Ransik, leading him past the charred wreckage of the door, until the mutant finally collapsed to his knees, groaning in agony from the exhaustion of the mostly unseen battle between he and Alex.
  • Several Time Force Officers rushed towards Ransik, and forcibly grabbed him. He struggled, but was overpowered by the first three, as they drug him off into the crowd of cops.
  • Alex handed the time device over to Captain Logan, stating that it was the heart of a time-warping device, and with it Ransik could have traveled to any time period he wanted.
  • The Captain remarked that such a thing would have been a disaster. Alex commented with a smirk that now Ransik wouldn't be going anywhere for a long time.
  • Possibly the next day, at the TF Courthouse, the trial of "the People v. Ransik", occurred.
  • Ransik stood in the center of the courtroom (basking in an ominous glow from the ceiling), which was filled with circular seating for the court audience to watch the proceedings.
  • The mutated man was bound in a massive set of silver chains and locks, assuring his submission to the riot-geared TF Officers.
  • Ransik remained in his spiked-shoulderpad and face-mask wearing costume while captive. It wasn't uncommon, it seems, for mutant criminals to be left in their full costumes, apparently with any weapons they may have had, while prisoners of Time Force.
  • Ransik had a wicked grin on his face, as he looked around the courtroom and spotted Nadira, a pink-haired woman sitting at one of the tables, wearing a black leather coat and a rather large black leather hat. They made visual contact, as she smiled at him and wiggled her eyebrows slyly.
  • Nadira must not have been considered a criminal, because of the lack of her having a status in her father's gang, despite her identity being public knowledge.
  • Soon, the Tribunal came back with a verdict, the holographic judges stating, "It is the ruling of this court, that the defendant is found guilty of all charges, and is sentence to cryogenic containment... for life!"
  • Nadira didn't like the overjoyed tone of the crowd, glaring angrily at them as she rose from her seat, and giving a nod to Ransik. He watched as she walked off, before turning his head and smiling cockily.
  • The guards began to yank on the chains attached to his neck, leading him out of the courtroom. On the way out, he faced the five teens, and lagged for a moment. Jen's smile faded instantly, as did her applause, when she made eye contact with him; his evil grunting and staring freezing her in fear.
  • Likely that night, Ransik was drug along by a squad of TF Officers into the trailer of a large cargo truck.
  • A short time later, Jen rode inside the back of the trailer, where she and Ransik sat facing one another.
  • Ransik's restraints included his neck bound the tightest by the latches, connected to his hand, and the firm structure of the metal trailer.
  • Ransik's unwavering evil grin led to Jen remarking that she wouldn't be smiling if she had his future. He confidently responded that the future is full of surprises.
  • When the truck began to evade the hoverchopper's missile bombardment, Ransik remained well-belted in, while Jen was tossed about the trailer, this sight causing him to laugh even harder and with greater intensity.
  • A short time following the transport truck's missile-blasted crash, Ransik, his chains broken but the cuffs around his ankles still remaining, slowly stepped out of the burning wreckage.
  • He also still had his arms bound in a silver metal t-bar, which was taken care of with one sharp heave, breaking the binds and casting them aside casually.
  • Frax approached the mutant, and bowed, noting, "Your plan is working just as you expected, Master Ransik!"
  • Nadira skipped up and down past the robot, and once at Ransik's side, she tittered girlishly, "Ohh, Daddy! I need a new dress! This one got filthy from lying on the street!" She showed him the golden blouse she was wearing under the leather outfit earlier, before casting it aside into the burning remains of the transport vehicle.
  • Ransik's evil mood shifted to gentle-father for a moment, as he promised her softly, "Anything you want, my dear. Hahahaha! HAHAHAHAHA!" Nadira smiled and took his arm, as they headed off towards the hoverchopper.
  • Their journey was cut short by the sound of debris being shoved aside by Jen, who crawled out of the wreckage with her Chrono-Blaster in hand. Frax pointed this out to his master, motioning for Ransik and his daughter to turn to face the lone TF Officer.
  • Ransik smirked, reminding her, "You see, young lady? The future... is full of surprises! Hehahaha!" As his laughter grew louder and longer, Jen stumbled and staggered, before finally dropping to the pavement, rendered unconscious by her injuries.
  • Ransik ceased laughing, put his arm around his daughter again, and continued heading for the getaway vehicle.
  • At daybreak, Ransik, Frax and Nadira stepped out of the hoverchopper, and causally walked across the landing pad at the Funaro Maximum Security Prison.
  • Ransik remarked, "Ahh, it's the first time I've been here as a visitor. HEHEHEHA!" (implying he's been held there at least once at some point in the past)
  • Later that morning, Trip had a vision, which showed Ransik entering the Cryogenic Detainment Tower, with Frax by his side.
  • Nadira strutted over to him, having recently disposed of all guards in the room, and whined, "Let's get out of here, daddy. It's so depressing!" Ransik chuckled, then leaned in and gave her a quick peck on the lips. He informed her they would very soon, though they would retain the room as their base of operations for the rest of the series.
  • Frax had in his possession an identical time device to the one Ransik had used earlier in the warehouse, which means the one Captain Logan ended up with must have been a decoy.
  • Ransik mentioned to his excited daughter, "The future, will be all ours... or should I say, the past?"
  • Suddenly, Ransik became aware of another presence in the building, as he quickly turned around and glanced into a Holoscreen, witnessing the Red Ranger heading up the stairs to the prison's landing pad.
  • Ransik smirked and nodded, before halting Frax from pressing the time warp activation button, saying, "Stop! Wait! One bit... of unfinished business." Frax understood, obeying, "Yes, master!"
  • Ransik appeared quite eager for a rematch, his visual mood switching to focused, as he headed off to engage his enemy.
  • Almost the moment Alex had his back turned to the middle of the landing pad, a whirring sound signified Ransik teleporting onto the scene.
  • Ransik gained Alex's attention by boasting, "Red Ranger! Back again?! You're either very stubborn, or very foolish!" Holding his double-bladed Chrono-Saber poised, Alex boasted back, "Neither! I brought you in once, and I'll do it again!" Ransik shook his head, and quietly stated, "Oh, how wrong you are."
  • The mutant mastermind darted toward the Red Ranger with a vicious cry. The Ranger tried to do the same, but Ransik dropped his left shoulder slightly, and was able to rip into Alex's chest with his spikey shoulder-pad.
  • After a bright flash, Red Ranger dropped to his knee, clutching his chest from its painful passing through the spikes, before proclaiming, "Ransik! It'll take more than that to slow me down!"
  • Ransik slowly turned around, and showed off a long curved bone blade protruding from his left forearm back towards his body. The blade grew longer, and shone sharply as it metalized before our very eyes.
  • He snapped it around, so that it faced the opposite direction, and began to spar with Red Ranger again. The arm-blade hooked onto his Chrono-Saber, keeping it busy enough for Ransik to slam Alex's body with a couple of swift kicks.
  • Ransik locked Red Ranger's Saber in his forearm blade again. As he had him held at his mercy, the mutant reached around his own head, and summoned a bone machete out from the base of his skull. While making it appear in a flash of light, yanking it out of his spinal column gruesomely, squishy sound effects were audible. He held the bone-handled blade over his head, released Alex from his forearm grip, and spun him around so he could slash at his stomach.
  • Red Ranger fell to his knees, groaning in intense pain from the ultra-powered sword strike. Ransik grabbed him from behind, and held him in a headlock.
  • Alex declared, "You may beat me, but you'll never escape the Time Force!" Ransik wickedly laughed and exclaimed in response, "Hahaha! Where I'm going, there is no Time Force!"
  • Jen, Lucas, Trip, and Katie finally made it up the stairs, and reached the landing pad, where Jen's shouting of Alex's name caused Ransik to turn his attention toward her, with the Red Ranger still firmly in his clutches, calling back out to her.
  • Ransik, with a psychotic smile on his face, released the weary Red Ranger, pushing him off, and before he could react, tore into his back with his bonesword.
  • The blade ripped into Alex's back, causing an intense flash of bluish energy, possibly coming from Ransik's weapon. Red Ranger dropped his Chrono-Saber, as he became engulfed in a storm of blue electricity over his limply staggering body.
  • Ransik just stood there, same position with his bonesword aimed downward, waiting confirmation that his attack proved fatal.
  • Following the fatal explosion, Ransik touched the blade of his bonesword proudly, and laughed maniacally, before walking away slowly.
  • After a few feet, his teleportation effect kicked in (involving digital pixilization, some yellow smoke, and a large hologram image of his head mocking anyone around with more laughter until it vanished out of sight).
  • Having returned to the Cryo-Tower, entering the main room again through the hall, Ransik commented almost suspiciously about his victory, "That was far too easy!"
  • Upon prompting by Ransik, Frax announced, "Time warp initiating!", and finally pressed the button on the console.
  • The Cryogenic Detainment Tower of Funaro Maximum Security Prison was warped out of the year 3000, taking Ransik with it, as well as the rest of his new gang.

    OTHER SOURCES

  • Early press releases and official products referred to Ransik by the name of Morbis.
  • In preview promos for the series that aired on Fox Kids a few months prior to the debut of the series, a scene deleted from 901-Fut1 was shown, revealing that after his rant, Ransik darted towards the activated arch. A massive explosion followed, caused by the Red Ranger, who tossed his Chrono-Saber at the control console, trashing it and preventing Ransik from escaping into the timestream. With no portal within the arch, he ended up on the other side of it in the room.
