500-TPRM.
- Even though they appeared to still have their Zeo powers, the teens
built Turbozords which could carry them
safely through the Nemesis Triangle; along
with the new Zords, the teens obtained new
Turbo Morphers, suits, and powers.
- Zordon said that the Turbozords were vehicles equipped with the
power and velocity of Turbo technology.
- Although the Turbozords were created quickly, it's unknown
when and by whom the Turbo powers, weapons,
suits, and Zords were designed.
- Zordon told the four teens that the Turbo
Morphers (referring to the keys) would allow them to access their
(presumably new) morphing powers; there was no mention of a switch from
the Zeo power to a new power source.
- As the four teens held
their hands on their keys and Morphers, Ranger-colored energy beams shot down
into them from above, suiting them up in their Turbo suits; this was
verified by the flashback in 501-SIT1.
- Despite the Turbo colors matching the Zeo colors, the Turbo suits were more
similar to the Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger suits
than the Zeo Ranger suits, as they had
metallic mouthplates again, as well as Morpher-like belt buckles.
- The designs around the Turbo Rangers' visors on
their helmets were modeled after the fronts of the Turbozords.
- The Auto Blasters were on the Turbo Rangers' right hips.
? Upon being morphed, Tommy
said he'd never felt anything like this; how the Turbo powers could have
felt drastically different from the Green
Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger powers, White Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger
powers, White Ninja Ranger powers, and Zeo Ranger Five powers is unknown.
- As the newly-morphed Turbo Rangers walked into the
Power Chamber, Alpha said that all systems checked out and
that the Turbozords were programmed and
ready to go.
- In the Power
Chamber some time after the other Rangers had left in their Turbozords, Justin
was helmetless in the Blue Turbo
Ranger suit (still his normal size) as Zordon gave him a brief speech.
- After Justin had taken
Rocky's place as the Blue Ranger, Alpha had had to give him a crash-course in
driving; apparently, he didn't receive an instinctual knowledge of
piloting his Turbozord.
- The Ranger suits' belt buckles which appeared to
be partially responsible for the morphing process resembled Masked Rider's morphing belt buckle, the Ecto Accelerator.
- The Turbo Rangers could run at high speed.
- The Turbo Ranger helmets split open in the same
manner as previous helmets; there would never be a whooshing of air as
the Turbo Ranger helmets were removed.
- The inside of Tommy's
helmet was silver with black wires running along the inside.
? When Tommy put his helmet back on, it didn't appear to be split at any point, but if this had been the case, his head couldn't have fit through the hole. (Source: Submitted by "Josh G.")
- Maligore clawed each
of the Rangers, making them spark; Adam was
momentarily paralyzed.
501-SIT1.
- Tommy raced a stock car around a track quite well after
only having been driving the car for a month; since it doesn't seem that
the teens would have waited a month after 500-TPRM to tell Rocky
about their adventure, Tommy must have begun
racing before 500-TPRM and the introduction
of the Turbo powers and Zords.
502-SIT2.
- The Turbo Ranger suits now had arm patches that
they had lacked in 500-TPRM; on each
Ranger's right forearm was a C
emblem, and on the left forearm was a triangle bearing the Ranger's
number (matching the Turbozord numbers): Red was one, Blue was two, Green was three, Yellow was four, and Pink was five.
? The Rangers' arm
patches were not present on the Ranger suits during the teens' morph
sequences.
- Morphed Tommy did a
blurry superspeed attack on all the Piranhatrons confronting Adam, knocking them all over.
- Whenever morphed Justin
had his helmet off, he would be his normal size, but when he returned to
battle, he would be adult size again; this change in size would occur
during teleportation.
503-SIT3.
- The Turbo Rangers would frequently (but not
exclusively) use communication links in the sides of their helmets to
call for equipment and to communicate with each other and the Power Chamber, rather than using their communicators.
504-Shad.
- As Adam, Tanya, and Kat were morphing, the Chromite shot a white beam from a black device,
draining Adam's morphing energy mid-morph; a gray version of the Green Shadow Ranger then materialized behind Adam, and green energy flowed out of Adam to colorize the Shadow Ranger; finally, Adam demorphed with a flash of green
energy, and the Shadow Ranger rose up
from the ground; the Yellow and Pink Shadow
Rangers then rose up behind demorphed Tanya and Kat as well.
- The Shadow
Rangers, powered by the Turbo Rangers' stolen morphing energy, were
able to beat the teens easily at hand-to-hand
combat, but the teens weren't seriously injured
in the fight as one might expect.
- Tommy, unmorphed, fought
off the three Shadow Rangers,
successfully at first.
- Tommy tripped the Blue Shadow Ranger and flipped him into the
shadows, making him dissolve; with renewed confidence, Tommy had no problem kicking the Green Shadow Ranger into the shadows, dissolving
him; he then lured the Yellow Shadow
Ranger into leaping at him while he was in the shadows, dissolving
her in midair.
514-ADTW.
- The Rangers ran rapidly through a quarry to get
to Elgar and Electrovolt.
- In their fight with Elgar
and Electrovolt, the Rangers
did their hitchhiking gesture, with a green lightning bolt striking
behind Adam, who stood in the center.
519-PTT2.
- Having been chosen to become the new Ranger team,
the new teens rose up from the large pile of
boulders in the ceremony
chamber, wearing their Turbo suits and holding their helmets.
525-WTFO.
- When Clockster touched the freeze key curiously as it was
freezing the Earth, time stopped; the Power Chamber and everyone inside were
immune, but the three Rangers and their Turbozords, outside, were suspended in time.
- After morphing and teleporting to the cave, Carlos and Justin were able to move for a few seconds, but
then they too became frozen in time.
- Phantom Ranger
was immune to the time freeze.
- Phantom Ranger
touched the Green and Blue Rangers' hands, making them
teleport to the Power Chamber as he said, "Teleporting."
- After time resumed,
the three formerly frozen Rangers were
apparently aware of the time freeze, as T.J. exclaimed, "Hey, all right!" and Cassie noted they were back.
530-Robo.
- The robot teens
were able to morph with the keys and Morphers.
534-TOWW.
- The Rangers
coughed after inhaling exhaust from Maniac Mechanic's battle wagon through their
helmets.
541-LSMn.
- Confronted by Piranhatron, super-strong Justin pulled out his key and tried to morph, but his Morpher didn't appear, and his arm holding
his key appeared to be in pain.
- Dimitria told Justin that his super strength, apparently given
to him by being bitten by an ant doused with chemicals, was incompatible
with his Ranger powers.
544-CIS1.
- When Dimitria
mentioned an urgent message from Eltar, Justin exclaimed that Eltar was the source of all their powers.
- When the Rescue
Megazord self-destructed, the Rangers flew out from the explosion
and got into the Turbozords, apparently
unharmed; the Turbo Megazord was soon
crippled by Goldgoyle as well.
- To prepare for the impending invasion of the Power Chamber, the helmetless Rangers
slipped on their helmets as they ran toward the outer doors; Justin was not shown growing, but rather, the next
time he was shown, he was adult size.
545-CIS2.
- Returning to the Power
Chamber after retreating from the Piranhatron, the Rangers removed their
helmets (with Justin not shown shrinking), and
the others tiredly caught their breath as T.J.
checked on the shields.
? The Power Chamber's shields were totally gone;
what had caused the shields to disappear is unknown, though the fall of
Eltar, the source of the Rangers' powers, may
have had something to do with it.
- To prepare to fight off the Piranhatron as they swarmed into the Power Chamber, the helmetless Rangers
slipped their helmets back on, and again, Justin was not shown growing.
- After Elgar had planted
explosives inside the Power Chamber, Divatox pushed a control button which blew up the
entire building with the Rangers and Piranhatron inside.
- After the explosion, T.J.
was shown helmetless, battered, and dirty with a thin ripped power suit,
exposing his flesh underneath; he was hiding in the rubble from the Piranhatron.
- When the other Rangers emerged from the rubble
after Divatox and her villains had left for the Cimmerian planet, they too were
dirty and helmetless with ripped suits.
- As the helmetless Rangers stood together in the
rubble of the recently-demolished Power
Chamber, their torn and dirty suits vanished with bright light,
leaving the teens unmorphed and dirty, with
their clothes having slices in the same places as the power suits had
been damaged; Cassie observed that their powers
were gone.
- Ashley warned that
they'd be sitting ducks when Divatox returned,
so T.J. decided they had to stop Divatox before she returned; without the Power Chamber and their powers, they needed
a way to go after Divatox, and Justin thought of NASADA.
? The teens' communicators still worked, despite the
loss of the Power Chamber and the Turbo
powers.
618-TBTR.
- As Storm Blaster
raced toward a warehouse to help the captured Space Rangers, with Justin in the driver's seat, its glove compartment
opened, revealing a Turbo Morpher and key which Justin
excitedly exclaimed were his.
- Justin was driving Storm Blaster as the Blue Turbo Ranger when it crashed
into the warehouse.
- Morphed Justin was still
able to use his Auto Blaster.
801-OpLs.
- The numbers of the Lightspeed Rangers matched those of the Turbo
Rangers, with Blue 2 and Green 3, while the ordering of
most other Power Ranger teams (with the
exception of the future Time Force
Rangers) had Black or Green second under Red; see "Miss Fairweather" for further Turbo-Lightspeed parallels.

turned off soon after the Rangers had
emerged into the main, well-lit area of the temple.
504-Shad.
- Morphed Tommy's helmet
lights were on after he'd shot out the lights in the Chromite Cave; they may have activated
automatically once the cave grew dark enough.
- Tommy's helmet produced a
special light which rendered the normally invisible multicolored Chromite footprints visible.
517-Shr2.
- When the shrunken Rangers were in a dark box, their headlights
were not on; waving two fingers past his visor, Tommy called out for his Turbo Headlights, and they
switched on; the other Rangers waved two
fingers across their visors, turning theirs on as well.
- When each Ranger
stepped out of the tear in the corner of the box, his or her headlights
automatically switched off, as if light-sensitive.
? When sliding through
a pipe, the shrunken Rangers didn't have
their headlights on; rather, Tanya seemed to
have some sort of flashlight strapped to her back, and Tommy seemed to have a flashlight in his hand.
- After the Rangers
