Mistakes
- Zordon called Tommy, Kat, and Billy away from their vacation simply to tell them he suspected that Mondo was responsible for the warming trend in Angel Grove and that they should be aware of the possibility of a serious battle in the near future. (01:56)
- Since the first part of this episode took place during the day (specifically, before 5:00 in the afternoon), Tommy, Kat, and Billy must have checked out from the resort the day after Tommy and Heather’s planned dinner and a movie; Tommy, Kat, and Billy, however, were the only people to be wearing different clothes the next day: Rocky, Tanya, and Adam were all wearing clothes from the previous day. (06:23)
- According to Zordon, Defoliator was destroying hundreds of plants and trees in Angel Grove Forest, thereby causing a greenhouse effect in Angel Grove; such a localized and rapid greenhouse effect would be impossible. (06:36)
- The sun was low in the sky during the orange-tinted fight between the Zeo Megazord and Defoliator, but the fight had to take place earlier in the day. (08:08)
- The Zeo Megazord Saber made giant Defoliator fall over and explode as usual, but the giant monster, lying prone but conscious, shrank down to normal size, where he lay until the Rangers had examined his body and concluded from the air’s cooling that the battle was over. (09:21)
- Tommy’s communicator didn’t go off during his dinner with Heather when Rocky and Adam were called to help Katherine and Tanya; Rocky and Adam got Tommy’s attention in person. (14:52)
- As the Rangers fought Defoliator, Zordon told Billy they couldn’t risk having Defoliator grow again, and Billy said he’d adjusted the Zeo Blaster to maximize the “Command Center”’s power cells. (16:54)
- After the Rangers summoned the Zeo Blaster, they appeared to be in a rocky area. (17:15)
- The Zeo Blaster shot a golden sphere of energy, but it was a flaming red slice effect, as from Tommy’s sword special attack, which destroyed Defoliator. (17:18)
