Mistakes

  • Tommy told Justin not to “go past the red line”, but the only line on the dial was a white line. (00:47)
  • Even though Justin’s shoelace was stuck to the accelerator, he was pulling away, which should’ve eased off the gas. (00:58)
  • In the subcraft, Porto and Divatox had microphones, and Divatox held headphones as they introduced the Chromite; Divatox then cheerfully looked at the camera as though she were addressing an audience. (02:29)
  • While it was fighting Tanya, the Yellow Shadow Ranger was briefly covered almost entirely by a shadow, which should have dissolved her, as was revealed later. (05:44)
  • The Pink Shadow Ranger was standing entirely in shadow as she grappled Tommy, but this should have destroyed her. (08:04)
  • Alpha told Tommy he didn’t get it, that Dimitria was from Inquiris, as in “inquire,” and that she didn’t give answers, only questions. Future episodes would show this was far from the truth. (09:28)
  • The teens’ communicators didn’t work in the Chromite Cave, but Justin’s homing device did. (11:10)
  • Workers at the construction site didn’t notice the enormous pool of shimmering multicolored paint coming from the detonator. (14:15)
  • Tommy went to give 3 of the Ranger teens high fives, but the sound effects would imply that he gave four high fives. (14:56)
  • Justin noted that Tommy’s helmet emitted a special kind of light that could see the Chromite’s footprints, and they could track him that way. However, the Chromite had teleportation abilities. (15:28)
  • Justin noted that they had to figure out how to get the Chromite into the darkness, but at that point, the Rangers knew only that the Shadow Rangers had a vulnerability to darkness. (16:51)
